@Klomster I see. Well, if dragonmancer is alright with it, then we can just make up another city. Also, just for future reference, we're going to try to make the demons one of the bigger threats in the mortal realm. Your post was fine, but I think it might be best to stick to bandits, barbarians, and Elven pricks as far as enemies go. Once we get the ball rolling I'm sure there will be demons everywhere.

@dragonmancer How do you feel about Respite, the Last City, for our settlement of refugees? It could be based in the ruins of an ancient Pre-Cataclysm city or something like that?

Also, I'm going to eat breakfast then get to my post. I apologize for the delay.

@Klomster As if I'd want to come! Asivar's spreading is influence again. No city needs him. The villages do >.> The lone tribes in the north that never got subjugated. The far eastern people that were once tamed the mighty beasts of the forests and mountains. Asivar will rise again! With the power of the PEOPLE behind him! No knight will stop the tidal wave. We shall come from north, west, south and east!!!

That being said, next post will be about the Eastern Beast Tamers regaining their Mark of Asivar. That makes a tribe, a village and a handful of nomads his followers. Ha better get going on spreading his influence. He's lagging behind XD.

My plan with the 'bloodthirsters' which you so aptly named them (that one is so much funnier when one thinks of 40k :P ) is that they are people influenced with deamonic something, energy, blood, artifacts you name it.
They are not technically deamons, at least that was how i imagined it. I guess i was vague in my description.
Also, i didn't want barbarians. Because it's always barbarians, or bandits. When deamons were going to be the big bad anyway i just went with it.
If you want i can clarify this in my post. It's no biggie.
I sort of described them primarily in the view of the villagers, and they have no clue how to differentiate between a deamon or a deamonic servant. Heck, i even put in that they initially thought Ha was a deamon!

I guess i should put in a post about my first disciple. Regardless of Ha'zufel ends up, he can still go there, and Ha can make a house call.

@Klomster Yeah...I definitely stole bloodthirsters from Warhammer. I'm not even going to pretend that's not the case lol. And it's fine. I'll keep them as lesser demons since they're involved in my next post. No need to clarify on your post.

Alright, time to get cracking on editing post numero dos for Kalla.

@LexiconWhile completely wrong, i like to imagine the gods just going about, casually killing some warhammer bloodthirsters :P
Like meh, no deal, they are just minor deamons.

Its a good idea, however it would need some kind of protection to keep it from demons instantly taking it over. Otherwise though I approve. Don't worry about delays, I don't expect people to pull out fast posting or anything.

@dragonmancer Small question. Would you mind if Asivar temporary "tames" (more like breaks will of) a Long Dragon. It would pretty much attack the "punny human caravan" not realizing the God of Beasttaming walks among them. It's just to showcase the third and final mark of Asivar, the Yui. (The shenhun - Hunter's mark, the Arvat'Nar or the burned scar mark of the Warrior and the Yui or Mark of the Beasttamer.)

Go ahead, most longs are sentient however, so unless if it is a exceptionally rare non-sentient long dragon it would be more appropriate to reason with it.

Posted, but wait...there's more! After conferring with dragonmancer, here's our first 'World Event.' Feel free to respond to it as you like.

WORLD EVENT-Welcome Back!

Unbeknownst to the Pantheon, Erathel, the largest landmass on Gaea, has become a battlefield between four powerful demon lords. During the Silence, each of these fearsome individuals tried to conquer the continent, but they were too evenly matched and a fragile peace fell across the land. One of these demonic lords, Azmodan, also known as the Bane of Ermio and the Malady That Walks, has just learned the gods and goddesses have returned to Gaea. Although his mystical abilities are impressive enough to give a deity pause, Azmodan knows he’d probably be destroyed if he openly fought the members of the Pantheon. Fearing the loss of his status as Demon Lord of the South, Azmodan has dispatched small groups of bloodthirsters, mighty warriors sworn to serve the demon lords, to gauge the strength of Erathel’s southern settlements. While these scouting parties haven’t taken any aggressive action, bloodthirsters aren’t known for their restraint or good humor. Thus far, these lesser demons have been seen near Ha’zufel, Talpike, River Deep and Mumue.

Each group of bloodthirsters is led by a demon carrying a teardrop-shaped sapphire pendant attached to a fine silver chain. A watery black fluid sloshes around inside the gemstone, though no god or mortal knows the purpose of this unusual object. Even the god of sorcery, Dormammus, would be unable to discern what the item can do. This is because only a demon can use these mindstones to converse with Azmodan, though a god or goddess could unravel the artifact’s secrets if given enough time.

@dragonmancer I think Kilgarrah would like the reasoning idea more. But I want to showcase how the power of Asivar's taming works. It's not a conventional way. It doesn't work through capturing it, nursing it, feeding it and letting it grow with care. It's a more agressive form. It's more of capturing it and then breaking its will. More like forcing it in a battle of will and strength (through the power of the Yui). Of course, only Asivar could do that to a sentient Long. I'd imagine no average human without aid could do it. But the element of "breaking" the will of the dragon is very important. Yes, I do realize Kilgarrah would probably take offense in this.

Also, a few quick things about the world event: 1.) Please do NOT make a post about how your character tortured one of the bloodthirsters and found out where Azmodan is. You can have your god kill the shit out of the lesser demons and capture a mindstone, but we're building up the four big bads of this RP here. 2.) If you have any questions about whether or not your post reacting to the demons is in line with what dragonmancer and I were thinking about, just message us. 3.) Have fun with this! Each group has about ten to fifteen lesser demons in it so this should be fun for the various villages and whatnot to deal with.

Also, if you have ideas for 'World Events' just PM me or dragonmancer. I figure, as long as they don't mess with any pre-existing plotlines like Hagers or the tribesmeet, we can do one or two of these events a week.

You forgot the goddess of secrets, whom would be very interested in ascertaining the function of the gems. XD. Unless you want her to know... then that case the cost for a good hint is extraordinarily high

@Tangletail My thought, and @dragonmancer will ultimately decide this, is that the mindstones are demonic artifacts. Del Sombra is the goddess of mortal and immortal secrets, but not demonic ones. Demons are fallen angels, according to our GM's post on the subject, and they've undoubtedly changed a great deal. Honestly, I don't think anyone, deity or otherwise, knows much about them except how they're created. Just my two cents.

Also, only a demon can properly activate and use a mindstone. All a god or goddess would be able to do is figure out what it does and who it allows you to talk to.

I'll be fine with that. She'll be aware of it when attention is drawn to it. But she won't know it's use until she's seen it used in action. At the moment, it just seems inconspicuous by description.

@Lexicon @dragonmancer Would it be plausible that there are demons/demonic corruption in the east and/or north? Asivar isn't so active in the south and west of the world, but he has his Nomads in the east and the Tribes in the North.
