Even though the hunger almost consumed him. Jason managed to tear himself away from the window, he stepped backwards and tripped. He began to fall backwards at a snail's pace. He didn't mean to hyper react, it was just a natural reaction for him. As per usual he had all the time In the world to think. I wonder what Mom and Dad are doing right now? Mom's probably yelling at dad in a drunken state. Dad is probably just trying to calm her, but she was probably trying his patience. He thought calmly. He had known his mother didn't truly love him when she called him that word. Freak. The wave of nausea brought him out of his state, and was startled when he was falling at normal speed.

He hit the bed with a soft thump.That was lucky. He decided that it would be easiest to just stay down. Stay down. He chuckled remembering the incident today. He hoped that boy would learn his lesson. He frowned when he realized he never got to really teach that boy a lesson. The only thing that concerned him was the boys apparent lack of remorse. Maybe he was just embarrassed.

I didn't exactly do a great no of making friends today. He had never had many friends, most of his peers had either hated him, or pitied him.
He drifted off to sleep, feeling alone.

Vedika listened with interest as Jason explained his ability,his talking getting faster and faster with a strange stutter towards the end. She had wanted to state how impressed she was with his powers but Jason excused himself quickly after that stutter, leaving Vedika to wonder if that stutter was due to poor control of his ability. It had reminded her of someone messing with a video's speed setting.

Vedika finished her dinner and just hung around with Ashleigh until Paulina came back to join them for the principal's speech, during which Vedika definitely did not fall asleep and definitely did not make one of those explosively loud snores where you wake yourself up. Yup, she also definitely did not draw the attention and ire of faculty and staff, nor looks of resigned exasperation. She also was definitely not drooling when she woke herself up with her own snore. When the speech and social finally ended, Vedika went outside the building to get some running done before lights out. And if she didn't make it back before lights out, well, she'd cross that bridge when she got to it.

Pushing open the door to his room Liam’s eyebrows shot up and he jumped sideways as a book hit the wall next to him. “Yo, Noah seriously dude calm the fuck down.” With a leaping roll Liam came up next to his couch and ducked as a few more books hit the wall. “Noah don’t make me kick your fucking ass.”

The drowned boy stood in the middle of the room and it was clear he was pissed from the stream of water flowing down his face from his eyes and mouth in a soundless scream as the ghost hurled objects in the room at Liam.

With a final dive for his bag Liam snagged the book bag and came up in a crouch. “Alright asshole. Game on.Arty help me solve this dicks problem.” For the third time that night Liam prepared himself for a possession. This one was going to be a hell of a possession though. Arty was a class three spirit and he packed a serious punch for a math nerd. The spirit flowed into Liam and all of the sudden he had a whole lot of hate for the bully Noah was being.

Leaping across the room Liam sunk both his hands into Noah’s chest lifting the spirit up off the ground Liam head butted the kid before grabbing his head and slamming it into the all too real edge of his book shelf. Something about Liam being possessed meant that he could force spirits to play by his rules more or less. It made the mortal world material for them when he was controlling them. While the bookshelf didn’t move it certainly had an effect on Noah’s head. With that Liam lifted the spirit above his head and slammed it to the ground. “Are you done Noah.” The spirit moved to use its Telekinesis and Liam kicked it in the head like he was kicking a soccer ball. At that point he realized his door was still open and he looked rather psychotic from anyone passing by. Walking to the door he closed it and walked back over to Noah.

“I’m so done with spirits like you. Korie and Paulina are hot and you already ruined things plenty; hell I know one you assholes hurt Paulina last time she tried to talk to me so its fucking on. I get that you are dead but that doesn’t mean I have to suffer just because I can do something about it. You need to stop.” Grabbing Noah, Liam hurled him from the room. The spirit sailed out of the outer wall of his room. “Asshole.” With that Liam released Arty and slumped onto his couch.

Noah is not going to settle just because you kicked his ass. He’ll be back

“I Know! I’ll deal with it tomorrow night. I’m too drained to do anything tonight. You have the location of the pond right? I’m going to relieve him of his death wounds so he will calm the fuck down. I’ll get salt and lighter fluid tomorrow. I’ll steal some rope too and we can haul his ass out of the pond and deal with him.”

Flopping on his bed Liam sighed. Hopefully the throw down hadn’t drawn too much attention.

Liam slummed down the wall as he waited for the rest of his classmates to file into the gym. Looked like things were basically going to the same as last year. Ghosts woke him up or came after him in classes. With a sigh he leaned his head on his hands. The gym clothes were pretty straightforward highschool style gym clothes but they tended to be a bit more durable and fire retardant. Not like the gym itself wasn't the safest place the Academy but it was nice to know that the staff had actually been thinking when they issued the clothes.

Liam rubbed his empty wrist. It was weird not having the psychic inhibitor for once. For some reason the academy insisted that he ware it when Ashleigh ran around without one and she was fiercely more powerful than he was. This was going to be interesting today. Hopefully someone filled in the request he’d made for a partner. It seemed unlikely that Paulina would but you never knew with her. Maybe Korie? Shaking his head Liam looked up to see Arty standing in front of him.

I got your things together and got the gear you needed from ECAY Tac team lock up.

Nodding at this Liam gave Arty a half smile. “You’re cool with hanging out and helping today with gym class right? Ever since Jeremy moved on I haven’t had someone else to rely on.” Arty nodded at this; the two of them had become relatively close over the last three months especially given that Liam had managed to find two of the guys who had murdered Arty. The vengeance had been legendary. It still made Liam shiver thinking of how Arty had terrorized the two guys who they had tracked down. For a week straight Arty had driven them crazy until finally confronting both of them. It still left a bad taste in Liam’s mouth since one of them had committed suicide following the haunting. Hopefully that one wouldn’t come back to bite him in the ass.

Schooling the grimace from his face Liam caught Arty giving him a long look over his glasses. Tonight was going to be rough. It would probably require multiple possession and possibly a summoning of one of the nastier ghosts around the Academy for their passions and skills. His classmates would be here soon and there was no way he could appear weak in front of some of the wolves around the school.

Ashleigh had wandered back to her room sometime in the early hours, with an empty chocolate wrapper, and feeling much better. She had briefly hovered outside Jason's door, contemplating going in, but had stopped herself. Instead she had continued to wander the school, until she finally crashed onto her bed once again.

The nightmares came as they always did, but the bracelet prevented her freaking oui the other students. So it ws she woke weary, and wondering if she could blow of the day and just stay in bed. Yet she knew someone-probably Paulina, with Vivi to drag her out of bed. So to save herself that embarrassement, Ashleigh rose and dressed.

Having grown use to the bracelet, Ashleigh never really thought about it except when she was reassuring herself that it was still there. The one time she had taken it off,at the academy's insitance, hadn't been good, and she hadn't taken it off since. She didn't plan to for a long time again either. She knew one day she would have to take it off. But one day wasn't today. Dressing in her gym clothes as a default for the first class, she slung her backpack over her shoulder, and headed to class.

She glanced about, looking for Paulina, or Vivi, or even Jason as she arrived in the gym. She gave Liam a wave out of politeness, and remembering her promise to herself from the night before, she bit her lip and went over to him. "How are you? You seemed a little troubled last night" There was no point hiding that she knew some things about people, they knew she could feel their emotions. @Themerlinhawk

Fuck. Me. Jason thought as he looked at his clock. The color drained from his face as he realized how much he had slept in. Jason could already hear a lecture from Paulina. He had no problem with breaking the rules, or even getting in trouble, but he preferred it be a more important cause than that of a faulty alarm clock. He jumped out of bed and made a Wild dash for the bathroom, bolting into the shower after throwing his clothes aside. As the hot water ran down his body, his thoughts drifted to the previous night.

He had been woken by nightmares of his past. The thought of 'the word' sent a shiver down his spine, despite the fact that he liked his showers hot. He had sensed someone lurking outside his door however, and discovered none other than Ashleigh through the peephole. He dared not open the door, risking him looking like a creeper. So he had tiptoed back to his bed, and waited. He was kind of disappointed when she didn't come in, and eventually fell back asleep. But now he realized she had only known him for a day, and probably wasn't yet comfortable entering his room at whatever ungodly hour it had been.

After coming out of the shower he checked his schedule, if he hurried he could make it to gym. He quickly slathered on some deodorant and sprayed on some of his the cologne his father had given him 2 years ago, that he wore nearly every day. Throwing on his gym clothes and grabbing his bag he threw open his door and darted down the hallway. He actually made it to class with time to spare he realized as he burst through the gym doors. His loud entrance quickly attracted glances from other students. His cheeks flushed slightly as he scanned the room for a familiar face. Ashleigh caught his eye, as she was engaged in conversation with a boy he had seen yesterday. He looked around for someone to talk to but everyone else seemed busy as well. He wasn't the type to butt in on a conversation but he didn't want to risk Ashleigh catching him standing alone in a corner watching her from a distance again like some stalker. Seeing no other option he began to approach the two.

"Yo Ashleigh!" He shouted casually as he made his way over. He quickly made an attempt to introduce himself to the other boy as he reached them. "Hey I've seen you around, but I don't think we've talked before. I'm Jason by the way." He said, extending his hand forward for a handshake.

Alister grabbing his things having been up all night talking with paulina dragged himself to class. He was tired and groggy and really didn't want to be messed with. On his way to class he stopped by the main office. Alister had resided to turn himself in. He didn't want his powers to be open with an uncontrollable one running around.

As he walked into the gym he looked about with a yawn. Today he decided to dress a little different wearing black skinny jeans and a fitted shirt accompanied by some checkered finger less gloves and a white zippered goodie. Alister cracked his neck and walked in. Around his wrist was the new more powerful inhibitor that not only suppressed his powers but almost all but negated them.

Alister took his seat against the wall next to Liam and sighed. "Hey..." He said yawning afterwards "how's it going?" Alister asked the question while looking at the ceiling refusing to make eye contact. The jacket mostly covered the wrist monitor so it made it a little easier to play off to liam that it wasn't even there.

Looking up at Ashleigh Liam blinked in surprise. Ashleigh never talked to anyone why was she talking to him now? It was rather strange that so many people had decided to start talking to him recently. Managing a smile Liam looked up at Ashleigh and managed a smile. “I’m fine thank you. Last night was...trying to say the least.” Adjusting himself he moved over slightly with a look and turn of his arm indicating there was room next to him. “You’re welcome to sit. Although…” Liam trailed off as he studied the look on Ashleigh’s face. “You know you’re welcome to go, it's Ashleigh right? You look like it's painful to be around people. I don’t mind if you run; trust me.”

As Jason approached Liam tracked the movement. Given that he’d sighted Ashleigh before he’d sighted Liam there was no doubt she was the real reason for his approach. Cocking an eyebrow Liam extended his hand to shake Jason’s “Liam Pyne, pleasure to meet you” It felt like he should stand up and actually engage with them but then again he was exhausted from dealing with the Ghosts all night. Jason seemed like he had a thing for Ashleigh and yet she didn’t seem to notice? Maybe Paulina’s bracelet actually did work; although it seemed rather…selective. Flicking his eyes between Ashleigh and Jason, Liam quirked an eyebrow at Ashleigh but made no comment.

Liam shifted to his right. “Jesus Alister you look like Noah fucked you up last night after I kicked his ass to the curb.” With a grunt Liam moved over a bit more. “Okay seriously what happened to you Alister. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look quite this bad and that is saying an awful lot since I personally look like hell every morning.” Reaching over Liam picked up Alister’s wrist. “Damn dude and I thought they wanted to inhibit me. And they are keeping that on you at Gym? Was it Paulina’s fault? Or can you rip out people's souls now or something?” Popping his neck Liam wrinkled his nose. “Today is going to be a mess. I think the administration jumbled the classes together this semester. There are a lot of new people; I wasn’t even in classes with you three last semester. I wonder why they mixed things this year.”

Alister laughed lightly. "Last night I was up talking with Paulina. After she left I couldn't sleep." He yawned and nodded his head "yeah this year seems crazy. Usually I don't even come to gym I'm always held up in control classes". Alister shrugged and yawned again. Slouching lower on the wall he put his head in his hands and nodded off for a second.

Waking with a jolt after sliding off his arm he perked up for a second looking around. Slouching again he looked at Liam. "As for the serious upgraded inhibitor" he said lazily "the whole red eye thing from yesterday wasn't a joke. It's a seriously massive upgrade to my powers that I have no real control over. " pausing every couple words with tiredness Alister tried to finish what he was saying "so they decided to cut off my powers for now. Also, I think someone was in my room over the break and noticed I have been intruding nonstop."

He looked up at the ceiling. "I can still use the power a little. But now they upped the dials so now, instead of just just taking a little while to read over someone, it takes hours." He let out a small sigh. "So basically I have been reduced to being as human as possible without literally removing my powers". Alister let out a small sigh and slumped even further down staring off in the distance @themerlinhawk

"It is painful to be around people" Ashleigh said, giving a shrug, looking over her shoulder as Jason looked about, giving him a smile as he started over to them, "But Paulina thinks I should be around people, and if truth be told, I'm a little scared of her" She smiled, giving another shrug so Liam would know it was a joke. "You look like you've been up all night too" Ashleigh had become an expert at hiding the dark shadows from sleepless nights, but she knew the signs. And exhaustion was an emotion she was more then familiar with. It wasn't really an emotion, but it tended to dull other emotions.

She shifted slightly as Jason joined them, giving him a nod and a "Hey" hoping that he wouldn't know she had hovered outside his door for a good ten minutes. She didn't even know why she had. She cleared her throat, and took a seat, a little put off by Alister. At Liam's look, Ashleigh gave yet another shrug, choosing not to say anything.

Ashleigh was never too sure when...when someone seemed interested in her. It had always been hard to tell, and now with the empathy, it was hard to truly know the difference between lust and attraction. And the last time...she didn't want to make the same mistake. Jason seemed sweet enough, and had been ready to defend Paulina against physical violence. But she wasn't going to let herself be put into a vulnerable position again.

Still...

"Perhaps they merely want to see how we do when thrown in with a bunch of others. Maybe there is simply more students in the school. And maybe they think...well, I was limited to my interactions with others last year. Only put with people that wouldn't send me out of control, and then I was slowly introduced into other, more difficult classes. It took a while for Paulina to get the bracelet right. So now here I am. Lets see how I do"

She fell silent, leaning back against the wall and closing her eyes. This brought her into sharp focus of the emotions of those around her, particularly the three guys close to her. Liam's emotions always seemed a little weird. Alister seemed...a little angry to her. And Jason...she gave a soft sigh. "I think they are hoping, and Paulina, that by the end of the semester I won't have to wear the bracelet" She said after a few moments, opening her eyes and looking to Alister, "What they do is for safety. Once they know more,and once you know more about it, I'm sure Paulina will work with you and can lower the inhibitor"@KiritoAsuna@Themerlinhawk@Hitman5455

Alister chuckled a little and smiled looking over to Ashleigh "trust me" he said with a small smile. "I know enough about this power to know I won't be allowed to use it freely." Alister let out a sigh and chuckled again knowing that Ashleigh was unnearved by his emotional demeanor.

"You know" he said slyly. "You don't have to be worried . It's not you I'm angry with" Alister layed out on the floor removing his jacket and placing it on his face, his tattoos now visable. Alister gave out a groan "I am so fucking tired today" he said rapping his head against the ground "thank God nothing has happened yet. @Caits @themerlinhawk

Jason could feel people gazing on his very soul, his cognitive acceleration gave him some type of 6th sense that he hadn't exactly figured out yet. It seemed nearly everyone in this school could either read him with supernatural ability, or sheer skill, and it annoyed him. He felt like his thoughts might never be private here, and it terrified him. He wouldn't call them nosy however, he did the same thing. he just wasn't used to it being the other way around...

"Nice to meet you as well Liam." Jason replied evenly, pretending not to notice eyes flickering from him to Ashleigh. He could almost hear their questioning, to which Jason had no answer. Damn, its only been a day, and I'm already getting 'the look'. Obviously he had never had much experience with girls, so despite his ability to project confidence, and even casually flirt from time to time, he truly was just making it up as he went along. As to a question of interest? There was a difference between attraction and interest, and He himself wasn't sure, but that didn't mean he didn't want to find out. The only person Jason had trouble reading was himself...

He felt bad for the boy he came to know as Allister, it sounded like he had had a much rougher night than him. "Yeesh man, that sounds kind of miserable." he interjected sympathetically. "I sure hope they haven't begun looking for a way to shut me down." He chuckled nervously. His eyes quickly darted around the room, praying Paulina hadn't overheard, and taken that as a challenge.

Gym.

The bane of her existence. Physical activity, plus forced interactions with other people and no food to compensate. Apparently they wouldn't let her have food here. Blah blah rules regulations blah blah ugh damn it she wasn't going to be able to get used to this. At least that cold shower had been rather refreshing. Hopefully she wouldn't be forced to actually try exerting herself in whatever they were going to be doing, either. She was tired enough as it was.

Elaine walked into the gym, wearing her usual apathetic frown, dark bags under her eyes indicating she likely didn't get much sleep. She scanned those present, quickly eyeing Liam and deciding that well, she might as well at least go hang around him. She didn't particularly know anyone else, and if she was going to be forced to be social, might as well be with someone she knew somewhat, even a little. She wasn't particularly looking forward to saying hi to the others he was hanging around, though. The fools from yesterday that got into that scuffle.

She walked over quietly, though Liam would likely be able to feel the spirit before he saw her like he had done yesterday, catching only the end of Alister's comment about being tired. Which made the insomniac laugh sarcastically as she made her presence known to the others.

"Wow. Tired. Because one sleepless night is bad. Try getting less than two hours every day and then complain." She grumbled quietly to herself, leaning against the wall and yawning tiredly. At least, she attempted to keep the comment to herself. Being in the irritable mood that she was in, she could have done a better job of being quieter but she didn't seem to particularly care if they heard her. She slowly slumped to the floor, deeming standing too tired.

She cast a tired glance over to Liam when she had settled herself. She half expected him to want to talk about their mutual friend last night, but it seemed he hadn't wanted to. Well, that was fine with her. Less work for her. She spent most of the night trying and failing to sleep, anyways.

"Lies and slander!" Paulina grinned as she skated up to the group, spinning to a stop. "I smell gossip in the air, so who's been naughty?" It was, of course, a joke. She wasn't really expecting any of them to be talking about her.

She'd actually woken up quite refreshed, despite her late night with Alister. Their discussion, along with the gift of his research notes, had been very illuminating. She had had no idea that Ali cared so much about her, but people were full of surprises. "What are we talking about again?" She asked innocently, then blinked as she properly looked at the group. Korie walked towards the gym, tying her hair up with a hairband the institution had so helpfully supplied the girls with in the dorm bathroom. She’d woken up that morning with a start, momentarily at a loss as to where she was. When she’d remembered, however, Korie quickly calmed down and dressed for classes, which were just about as uneventful as they were yesterday. Science was the worst of all, as Korie quickly discovered. She'd been allotted into a class she'd taken during Sophomore year, and although Korie didn't exactly remember everything there was to know, she didn't appreciate having to relearn the things she did.

The least they could have done is have advanced placement for those that need it, she thought as she approached the gym.

Entering the gymnasium, Korie was struck by how different it looked with uniformed teenagers filed up instead of a collection of rowdy ones scattered about and eating food. Spotting Liam, Paulina, and Alister with some others, Korie walked over.

”Hey Alistair, Liam, Paulina,” Korie said, greeting the members of the group she knew. ”Hope you don’t mind me inserting myself into the group.” Korie flashed a smile at the three strangers. ”Hi. Korie Weiss, nice to meet you,” she said, waving.

Alister waved to Korie, his face still under his jacket. "Can't talk..... To tired" he said sounding exhausted "but please do come sit". Alister yawned and continued to lay on the floor . "Hey Liam...when did our wall get so popular ? " he said with kind of a laugh. "It's sort of strange".

Alister was a little put off by all the people that had shown up but one voice was worth hearing and that was paulina's. Having had a serious interest in her and her life since like forever Alister was very interested in everything about her. It was usually a quiet interest, but today he was seriously interested in whether she had gone over his notes. "Paulina?" He said questioningly "so did you go over the book? " the second question was said with a distinctive interested, which comming from the short , tattooed, delinquent boy was weird to hear even for her.

Alister having never showed her anydistinctive interest before last night was a little nervous to say the least. He wasn't sure if it was weird to ask about something, especially something spoken of in private, in front of so many people. Alister smacked his head in frustration feeling as though he made a mistake in what he said.

Ashleigh rubbed her arm, her own nerves getting to her, as well as the emotions of so many people close to her. She shifted from foot to foot for a moment, merely letting herself breath in and out deeply for a few breaths. She unconsciously shifted closer to Paulina, wanting the comfort of her nearby.

Why were there so many people around her? Perhaps going up to Liam had been a mistake. And why were so many of them tired? Had there been a wild orgy or something after the meet and greet? Feeling herself getting worked out, nearly that stage where she might just lose control, Ashleigh reached out for Paulina's hand, taking it and letting herself concentrate more on Paulina's emotions then anyone elses, the contact making this so much easier to do.

"I know you aren't angry at me" She said softly to Alister. She shifted again, "I...I'm sorry everyone, I need to get out for a minute" She gave Paulina's hand a squeeze, letting her friend know she was okay, before she began to slip away, moving through the students coming into the gym, she exited it, trying not to do so at a run.

She had tried so hard not to let herself be overwhelmed. She really was trying. But it was just so hard. She rounded a corner, and slid down the wall, lowering her head into her arms. At this rate she'd be back to being isolated. "Why am I so weak?" She whispered, listening for the bell that was signify class was starting.

Oh shit! Jason almost said aloud when Paulina appeared out of nowhere. She must've heard what I said. Jason thought nervously. He decided to play it cool.

"Oh hey Paulina." Jason said trying to sound casual. Before he could make an attempt to cover for himself another girl came over.Yeesh this Liam guy is a real chic-magnet. Jason made a mental note to ask him his secret later. The girl politely introduced herself, she seemed nice enough.

"Nice to meet you Korie, the names Jason Blackwell." He said. He hasn't told anyone here his last name before, but she introduced herself like that so it seemed fair that he should reveal his. Not that it really mattered anyways. He almost began to read her, but he stopped himself. Sometimes it was nice to leave a little to the imagination. Plus he know he felt odd when the people here read him.

"I...I'm sorry everyone. I need to get out for a minute." Ashleigh said suddenly before quickly exiting the gym. Jason didn't want to overstep bounds but he figured she could use... well something, he wasn't sure what yet but he was gonna find out. Ignoring the thoughts of judgement that would surely be passed on him upon leaving, he went after her out of the gym, not caring if he was late. She didn't seem to notice him approaching as he heard her low whisper.

"Are you really weak?" He asked, making his presence known.

Bright and early, Vedika had woken up, cleaned herself, and had a quick snack. She was all ready to start this semester off on the right foot and show up early (or at least on time) to class. Ready to go, she opened her window and climbed out. She had done this many times before (well, maybe once or twice) so she knew exactly where all the sturdy handhold were...whoops, that gutter wasn't supposed to break. As morning dew and late night condensation dripped onto her, Vedika realized she had no way of going back to her room this way, not that it mattered. She continued to climb down. When she reached the bottom, she made her way around the building to the front and pushed her way through the front door. Unfortunately, she was stopped by the very front doors she was attempting to open: it was locked. Vedika rattled the entrance hoping someone would hear and come unlock it for her. She could attempt to punch her way through, but she was sure the main gate of the school must be reinforced, and even if she could destroy it, it would probably take too much time and energy, besides, the school had let her run around without an inhibitor due to good behavior, behavior that did not involved busting open doors and destroying school property. It wasn't until much later that a security guard found her locked outside, unlocked the door, and wrote a student delinquency report on her, before she was allowed to head to the gym, quite a bit later than she had planned.

On her way there, she saw Ashleigh sitting down in the hall, and Jason hovering over her. "Hey Ashleigh, Jason! You two ready for the first day of the rest of your lives?" She greeted, spouting some inane inspirational BS, and completely failing to read the mood. At least she was energetic.

Ashleigh didn't look up, a little perplexed why Jason had followed her. that's something Paulina would say She thought to herself, but she'd say I put too much on myself, that I expect too much. She'd say that I was doing well. But she doesn't know about the nightmares. She thinks they're finished. She doesn't know how hard it is, She thinks I'm doing okay.... She looked up as Jason hovered over her, "I bare everyone's burden and no ones. People can't help what they feel. But I can help how I react. And most of the time its a constant battle for control, even with the bracelet. Because I'm scared.

They all think I knew of my powers for years, and maybe I did, but it wasn't consciously. No, the first time I was truly aware of them was when I had the crap beat out of me by someone I loved. She didn't know why she was letting this all out, to someone she had just met, when she couldn't even say it to Paulina, or Vedika. Maybe it was because they believed she was doing better than they thought. Maybe it was because on some level she didn't want to disappoint them. She had felt Paulina's surprise, and then pride when she had seen her still there last night.

Perhaps she would have said more, if Vedika hadn't come up. Her energetic nature was a stark contrast to the exhaustion she had been around. She gave a sigh, rising in one fluid motion, feeling just that tiny bit better for letting something out, although she was sure she had just sent Jason running from her. "No, but I never will be, so lets just get to class, and hope I don't turn everyone into a blubbering mess"
