Damian jumped in excitement"yeah I'll tag along. Actually that's where I wanted to go today to begin with" the boy was extatic to have met a friend instead of a rival. For some strange reason he felt with this new friend he could make it all the way to the top and bring this boy with him. It was exciting. He has only been a trainer for two days and already he had a friend.

Damian started to walk towards the pokemart allowing time for the other boy to follow . He was excited to know someone was by his side. This had been his first friend he made for anything ever and it was great. As they walked he looked at his pokedex and smileed as he scanned the other two Pokemon. He now had three logs for his pokedex. He knew what he wanted next. He wanted to find a pidgy or, more importantly, he really wanted an eeve to add to his Pokemon. Evee was the best Pokemon since it had so many transformations. The only problem was where to find one @Dusksong

A sudden commotion jolted Olivie awake. She couldn't remember whether she had been dreaming or not, but as she sat up, blinking away the sleep from her eyes, she found herself smack dab in the middle of a nightmare.

Her room -that sanctum of privacy and identity, that refuge, that one place she could truly call her own- was in total disarray. Just about everything that stood on a desk, cabinet, or shelf had been knocked onto the floor. Small pieces of furniture lay on their sides, paintings leaned against the walls where they fell, and several pillows appeared to be exploded. The acrid scent of char invaded her nostrils, causing Olivie to grimace. Dumbfounded, she sat near-motionless, slowly panning across the scene of carnage just to try and take it all in. At the foot of her bed, Buck, who lay on his back, watched her solemnly. No way he did this, Olivie knew—and she had a very good idea about who the real culprit was. Drawn by the sound of whistling wind, she drew her focus to her window, where the jubilant morning sunlight streamed in through a gaping hole in blackened glass. After trashing her room, the sight told her, the perpetrator of this dastardly deed fled through here. Olivie maneuvered out of bed and stood in front of the window in her burgundy nightgown, peering down at the street to see if the little cad was still about. ”So, that crappy monkey woke up after a bath, a meal, and a night of rest, wrecked the joint, and bust a hole in my window to scamper off. Hmph.” She gave a ferocious scowl. ”Serves me right for tryin' to be nice to a wild animal. Next time I see you, hothead, you're getting' a full beatdown and comin' with me.

The next twenty minutes she spent in the bathroom, showering, dressing, and tidying herself up. Once her usual morning fogginess washed away, courtesy of the hot water, she felt like a million bucks. Today was the day her Pokemon journey began, and nothing could have filled her with more energy than that thought. She dressed herself quickly, assembled all the gear she needed -including a messenger bag full of the outdoor essentials-, and headed out into the main room with a smile on her face and an eager Bidoof around her feet. ”Bye, mom! Bye, dad!” she called before smiling sheepishly. ”Sorry about my room!” Before they could respond, the girl was out the door.

Stepping outside caused a profound change to settle over the pair. They went from bright and earnest to serious and surly in one second flat. Of course, the joy of beginning remained in trainer and Pokemon alike, but the former had an image to uphold and the latter had a master to take cues from. Olivie made a beeline for the nearest Poke Corp store and arrived at her destination in less than ten minutes. The place gave off an air of mismatch; the exterior showed off all the trappings of a rustic town market, from its earth tones to its flowerpots, but stepping within the building was like stepping into a science lab. Inside, all was sterile, smooth, and efficient. Olivie didn't like it, but she didn't have to. With purposeful stride she made her way to the checkout counter, Buck marching alongside, until the brunette stood with arms akimbo in front of the cashier. ”I want three Pokeballs,” she informed the worker, having previously calculated how much she could get with her current stockpile of Trainer Points. Dutifully the blank-faced person behind the counter produced a trio of the bicolor spheres and held his hand out to receive the customer's Pokedex. Olivie passed it over, the cashier registered it, and the transaction was complete. The Pokeballs were added to Olivie's thigh ring, and with nary a farewell she left the way she came.

Once outside, she paused for a brief moment, arms crossed beneath her chest, to survey the street. Getting more Pokeballs had been first on her list, but her plans afterward had been less well defined. What to do, what to do. She observed Buck, who stood patiently beside her. Obviously she wanted to figure out and then improve on his fighting abilities, and for that she needed Pokemon. Since the urban Pokemon did not enthuse her, that meant leaving Central City behind once again to come the wilds for potential allies and adversaries. She didn't need to beat around the bush figuring out a way to go, either; as impulsive as ever, Olivie simply picked a direction and started walking.

Her randomly-chosen route brought her through a section of Central City she knew well. In fact, it wasn't long before she crossed the river. Not wanting a replay of yesterday, she opted to continue straight, though she briefly considered a quick detour. The memory of that persistent Feebas bubbled up in her mind as she approached, so she couldn't resist taking a quick peek into the water to see if the ugly fish was still on her trail. For a few second she scanned the river, but Olivie couldn't spot any fish at all. "Huh." One shrug later, the spirited brunette was on her way once more.

”Sweet,” Cillian said, turning his feet. ”Off we go then. ”

Cillian followed behind Damian, eyes scanning the perimeter of the city. His eyes followed the outlying buildings to the rim of the tallest skyscrapers at the city’s center that reached for the clouds and beyond. I guess living in the city really is different, Cillian mused, grinning. And I’m converted.

Seeing the boy in front of him pull out his Pokedex, Cillian did as well, opening it and using it to scan Fireheart. The device confirmed what he’d already known, but also tacked on a few specific details to his knowledge. I suppose I’d better brush up on my knowledge of lower forms, considering that I’ll be stuck with them for quite a while, Cillian thought to himself, looking down at his two Pokemon. Not that its a bad thing though.

The pair of trainers and their three Pokemon entered the Pokemart, and Cillian headed right towards the counter. ”Five Pokeballs please,” Cillian said. He’d checked his point balance ahead of time and figured the total would be enough to buy five at this point. ”Thank you,” Cillian said as the clerk handed him the capsules, hooking them onto his belt where the two Pokeballs he’d already had were.

"Alright Oliver, Quick Attack(4EP)!" Oliver didn't bother nodding, instead immeditaly dashing forward and batted at the Bidein with startling speed before prancing backwards, watching its opponent warily. Raven was excited to see how this went, Leisy probably hadn't been in a battle before either so it should be interesting to see how this turned out.

Damian smiled and walked to the counter "I'll only be raking two pokeballs please damian wasn't big on cacatching a lot of Pokemon.he just wanted the three Pokemon and he was going to make them as powerful as possible. Damian was happy as he bought his two pokeballs and placed them on his belt.

Damian looked over to his knew human friend and smiled"so, where to next? "damian was excited and ready to get a go on the days events. He wanted to get going and get stuff done. He would take his crew to the top and become a Pokemon master. At least he hoped to do so. @Dusksong

”Naunet!” Leisy shouted, eyes wide as the Piplup took the hit, crashing to the floor. ”Return, Naunet!” Leisy called, returning her Pokemon with a jolt of failure. She'd messed up somehow. How she didn't know why, but she did.

The match goes on though, Leisy thought, putting off the sinking weight of failure as she looked to the robin on her shoulder. ”Bidein, you ready?” Bidein chirped affirmative, taking flight from Leisy's shoulder. ”Use peck, Bidein!” Leisy called. (1EP)

Raven VS Lesiy: Breakfast Brawl
Victor: Lesiy!

Raven Heartwood - Central City
@Dusksong@Balthazar007

Raven grinned as Oliver knocked down his opponent, returning to his trainer's feet panting from the effort. "Nice job Oli." Raven said quietly, patting Oliver's head before stepping back as Leisy brought back her next Pokemon. "Alright, dodge the attack this time and then-" Raven paused, Bidein had immediately leapt into action and Oliver had naturally obeyed him and jumped to the side, avoiding the small bird's attack. However Eevee was worse off than Raven had thought, his feet faltered beneath him when he landed from his dodge and it took him a second or two to regain his bearings. But when he did, with no command from his trainer he glowered at Raven accusingly for a split-second, then decided that he would have to act on his own and rushed forward to attack the Fletchling. He was intercepted by a flash of red-light. "Well it looks I lost, I surrender." Raven said, shrugging matter of factly.

"Just bad lack I suppose." he said with a sly wink at Lesiy and released Oliver. Oliver landed on his feet unsteadily but that didn't stop him from immediately glaring at Raven once again. Oliver opened his mouth as if to yip at him angrily but Raven expertly shot one of berries he'd hid into Oliver's mouth, silencing him for the moment. "Jeez you catch on fast don't you little guy? Not fast enough though." Raven knelt down and bonked Oliver lightly on the head. "This wasn't a death match; it was a friendly battle over nothing. You don't have to fight for something silly like food anymore." he said conversationally, and then looked at Leisy. "Your victory milady, which means your wish, is my command: though you can cash in your favor later of course." Raven said cheerily, not bothered at all that he'd lost and still kneeling. Eevee meanwhile looked down almost guiltily for a moment, then quickly scrambled up Raven and curled up inside his hat, no longer visible. It was hard to say what was going through his mind.

♪♫♪ Cecilia "Cici" Taylor ♪♫♪

Location: Central City

@Zarkun

"You two hungry?" Cici mumbled at her Pokemon, handing them snacks she'd bought. Apart from the coffee, a morning necessity, she hadn't ordered anything for herself yet. She would once Tommy arrived. Looking with bleary eyes at Dulcet, she let out a sound somewhere in between a chuckle and a groan. "I guess that's a silly question to ask you..."

She took another glance around. The place was filling up, but she still couldn't spot the fellow musician. Taking another sip of her coffee, she turned back towards her Pokemon - or rather, one of her Pokemon. Dulcet had disappeared, leaving her food half-eaten.

"Dulcet?" Turning her head this way and that, Cici gasped. "Dulcet, no!" The Swablu landed on a table right in front of a customer, earning a cry of shock, and started pecking at a breakfast muffin. Cici jumped up, spilling her coffee all over the table, and ran towards her Swablu, Forte waddling behind her. "I said no! You've got your own food!" Dulcet backed away from the muffin and looked up at her trainer with wide eyes, giving a sweet chirrup.

"For Arceus' sake!" the woman at the table snapped. "Can't people control their damn Pokemon?" She looked up at Cici, and realisation hit both of them.

The woman had changed. Her hair had faded from brilliant red to its natural strawberry blonde, and she now wore a plain, no-nonsense green dress, but it was unmistakeably her.

"Sarah?" Cici gave her former friend a forced smile. "Uh, hi! It's, um... been a while..."

Sarah glared, wrinkling her nose as she took in Cici's dishevelled appearance. "Yeah, and you really haven't changed," she replied. "Of course you can't control that scrap of cotton. Never put much work into anything, did you? Except kicking up that racket."

The words stung, especially coming from Sarah. Cici remembered when they used to sing nursery songs together as children. They'd been like sisters for years, and now... Well, Cici couldn't really fault her once closest friend and former bandmate. It had been Sarah's family, after all, who had made her give up music to pursue what they saw as higher ambitions. Cici knew they'd always seen her as a bad influence.

"Um, sorry," Cici muttered. "I'll buy you something else right away." Returning Dulcet to her Pokeball, she headed inside, and emerged a few minutes later with another muffin. Sarah accepted it wordlessly. Biting her lip, Cici returned to her table and slouched, wiping up the coffee with a napkin, keeping her gaze away from the other girl.

Was it even a good idea to travel with Tommy? Would he turn out like Ryan, a bandmate who'd seemed kind and friendly at first, but had slowly grown to view his taste in music as superior, his jokes turning into harsh put-downs, before deciding he was meant for greater things and leaving? Or would he be like Sarah and do a complete 180? Would she be better off making her excuses and travelling solely with Pokemon for company?

She decided she'd take her chances. She just wouldn't let her friendships with humans become too strong.

Leisy Takigawa

Leisy felt a roll of relief and accomplishment wash over her when Raven resigned, but quickly smacked herself upside the head internally. This wasn’t something to be happy about right now! Or was it? Leisy thought, cheering up slightly when Bidein landed back on her shoulder, a little winded from his last move but nonetheless beaming proudly. ”Good job, Dei,” Leisy said, scratching him under the chin endearingly before walking over to Raven.

”There’s nothing I can think of off the top of my head, so I’ll probably hold onto that favor,” Leisy admitted. She raised a hand nervously, a little flushed but steeling herself. This was what a trainer ought to do, ought to get used to. ”It was fun,” Leisy said, looking Raven in the eyes with a grin, ”and I hope we can do it again sometime.”

Leisy looked around the clearing for a bit, eyes tracing over every bush and treetop so that they would be ingrained in her memory before she realized that the day was still young and things were still to be done. ”Do you wanna head to the Pokemon Center together?” Leisy asked Raven, eyes drawn to the rather ravenous Eevee on the boy’s shoulder that was still holding strong. ”I’ll throw in a celebratory meal—as friends. I’m sure both my Pokemon could use some food again after that battle.”

Cillian Weiss

”Considering that we just stocked up on Pokeballs, I’d say we go and find some Pokemon,” Cillian said with a grin. Pulling out his Pokedex, the boy consulted the map function for reference. ”Since we both already have fire types and only I have a water type, what do you say we go down to the riverbanks and try to find you one?” Cillian suggested. ”I could also try and locate some flying or bug types, which would be easier by the river anyway because all life stems from there.”

A Pidgey is a little too plain as a dual normal-flying type, Cillian thought with a slight frown. I wonder if I’ll find a good Pokemon?

The thought of the Scyther from the previous day set his mind on edge though, and Cillian was brimming with energy when the two trainers left the Pokemart.

Raven nodded glad that she seemed as pleased with the battle as he was. He stood up and responded to her question, "Sure, Oliver can no doubt use a touch up. Though you know if we're going to go for a meal as friends we're going to pay for it like friends. 50-50." He said pleasently, after all, his honor couldn't accept getting a reward he didn't deserve. Then of course he began heading towards the Pokemon Center, somewhat curious to see the inside of one, as he'd never had any need to enter one before he hadn't. From what he heard they worked fast though, so they should be in and out in time for breakfast. "Don't worry about it buddy, you did just fine." Raven said quietly to Oliver. Eevee let out a tentative purr but was otherwise silent. It was to be expected. From what he'd seen of Oliver Raven had no doubt the Eevee had wanted to prove himself and probably felt inadequate because he hadn't been able to win. Well that was alright, Raven would make sure he felt better sooner or later.

”Sounds good,” Leisy said, beaming when Raven used the word ‘friends’ to describe them. Sure she counted them as acquaintances, but Leisy had never really known how people started quantifying their relationships as “friendships” rather than simple connections.

Leisy trailed a little behind Raven on their walk to the Pokemon Center, engrossed in her Pokedex as it pulled up statistics about her Pokemon. Her Piplup was average sized—weight and height—with normal IV’s. Perhaps Raven’s Eevee is just extraordinary? Leisy thought, but quickly shut the thought down. No excuses. Naunet fainted because of you, she told herself, frowning as she replayed the battle in her head until the trainers arrived outside the Pokemon Center.

”Never been in one before?” Leisy teased when she saw the boy staring at the building curiously. She helped herself through the automatic doors, walking up to the nurse at the counter. ”Good morning! Could we get two Pokemon healed please?”

Tommy stood at an intersection a couple blocks from where he was supposed to meet Cici, the irritation getting hard to keep off his face. He'd been standing here for the last ten minutes because there were two or three hot shot trainers who'd decided that a makeshift battle in everyone's way was a good idea. Amica was with him, calling out to the other Pokemon to try and get them to stop long enough to let them by before he was too late getting there. It was bad enough he'd let his practice run over, which he hoped Cici wouldn't be upset about. Finally, fifteen minutes in, one of the trainers realized they were holding up a bunch of people and let the others know and Tommy slipped by, using a light jog.

He was excited for the day to get started and he'd swung by the pokemart this morning and picked up another pokeball in case they came across one Tommy would want to add to his team. The prospect was exciting, but he was somewhat disappointed to know that there were no fighting types in or near Central City, but maybe he could get a flying type in their place. He continued thinking on it as he approached the sandwich shop and stopped to look around. Wow, the place is full already. Forgot how popular it was with the breakfast crowd. Eventually he saw his new friend after a couple of minutes of standing on his toes and he smiled, working through the crowd towards her.

As he approached he noticed that she wasn't as cheery as she was yesterday and he persed his lips thoughtfully. He was worried about her, but he also didn't want to overstep his boundaries either. After all, they'd only known each other for a day. In the end, after much internal strife as he approached her, he decided he'd ask. Tapping her shoulder lightly, he smiled. "Hey, everything alright?"

Raven nodded, "Yep, never had a need." They entered the Pokemon center and Raven took another curious glance around while Lesiy talked to the women at the counter. "Please place any Pokeballs with injured Pokemon with them on the counter and I will fix them." Her voice was somewhat tentative, as though somebody very angry and rude had barged in yesterday and yelled at her. Given Leisy offered her the Pokeball she would take it and step out of sight, returning moments later and offering her the Pokeball. Upon hearing the explanation Raven lifted his hat and Oliver jumped into his hand, nodding his consent to be placed with the Pokeball. Raven grinned, getting permission from his pokemon to use his pokeball, what an odd pair they were. One subdued flash red light later Raven placed his Pokeball on the counter, recieving the same quick treatment. He released Oliver and pocketed the Pokeball, pleased with the obvious improvment in his condition. "Looking good little guy." He said with a smile and produced another berry from somewhere and tossed to Oliver. Despite the puzzeled look on his face he competently chomped the berry right out of the air. "Bet you thought you ate all those already huh? Well you should never underestimate my ability to hide things, especially food!" Raven declared proudly and stuck his arm out for Eevee. Eevee let out an odd tittering noise before clambering up it and resuming his customary spot on Raven's head. Though Oliver seemed to be feeling more confident now as the hat was propped up now so his curious, beady eyes could examine his surrondings. Raven turned to Leisy, "Got somewhere in mind to eat? It's my first real day in town and I've got no idea where much of anything is."

"Ah, hi." Cici looked up to see Tommy had arrived. "Yeah. It's nothing. It's just... well, I'll admit to not being a morning person." With a slight laugh, she gestured towards what was left of the spillage on the table. "And this doesn't exactly help." She cleaned up the rest of it and threw away the soggy napkin.

She wasn't going to tell this guy her life story. There was no point. Besides, it was all behind her now. On to the next place today, wherever the two of them decided that would be.

Forte skipped over to Tommy, giving tiny little squeaks. "Hey, looking forward to going exploring today?" Cici asked the Whismur, her smile coming much more easily to her. From the soft, happy sound he made, she assumed he was.

"So," she said, facing Tommy again. "What were you thinking of doing? Staying in Central a little longer, or heading out this morning? I'm fine either way." This wasn't entirely true. What she wanted, especially after the conversation with Sarah just now, was to leave Central early. Ok, it would be a good idea to stock up on some items from the mart first, but she hoped she wouldn't be in this city too long. She wasn't going to pressure Tommy to leave too quickly, though, if there were still things he wanted to do. The other thing was, if she seemed too eager to leave, he'd suspect something was wrong.

Oh well. She'd get to make her new start sooner or later.

New Location!!!

Name: Feyhollow Town
Location Type: Township
Pokemon Types: Fairy, Rock, Ground, Grass, Poison, Normal, Flying, Bug

Lore:
In the heart of an overgrown forest, south of Central, is a quaint little town. Its peaceful atmosphere and the wild yet beautiful feel to the place draw people in, as do the many stories and legends.

In the late hours, the sound of singing carries on the night breeze. Venture far enough past the gnarled trees and tangles of flowering vines, and the dances of Fairy-types in the clearings can be seen. Moss-covered caves fill the forest, glowing softly with fungi as if to entice people inside. These caves are where many of the Fairy Pokemon can be found.

A widely-told story is that of one particular fairy, Diancie. Some people report catching a glimpse of the diamond Pokemon, and a few deliberately seek it out in the hope of wealth from the gemstones it is said to produce. Although many have explored the woods and the caves, though, this rumour has never been confirmed.

Another legend is that of the forest's origin. It is said to have been created by the legendary Pokemon Xerneas, as a home for the fairies. According to the story, Xerneas, exhausted by its efforts, transformed into a tree. Now, it is believed to have awakened from its long slumber, as a few inhabitants of the town claim to have seen it. As with Diancie, its presence has not been proven.

Enchanting as the place is - for that very reason, in fact - the wilderness surrounding Feyhollow is to be explored with a sense of caution, or so the town's inhabitants warn. There are rumours of people becoming so caught up in the fairies' songs and dances that they never return, or come back changed in some way. After all, these innocent-seeming Pokemon are some of the most mysterious...

Feyhollow Town Poke Mart

A small, cosy little shop in the middle of the town, selling the essentials for trainers.

Feyhollow Town Mission Board

A large board against a stone wall in the town square, framed by climbing plants twisting around it. On this board, townspeople in need of assistance from trainers for various reasons leave requests in the form of posters. To accept, trainers are to take these requests from the board to the town hall.

Shanae Eller

Shanae sighed as she set down her tablet, looking out the window of her office on the forty-third story. When was the last time I stepped out of the office as a trainer rather than a VP of Poke Corp? she mused to herself. Stretching, the woman stood up and picked up her purse beside her, pulling out a worn and familiar belt with six Pokeballs strung around it. Her Pokemon.

”Out we come,” Shanae said, grinning with youthful energy as she released her Pokemon one by one. After they had all been gathered on the floor of her office, Shanae plopped down with as well, looking at them with a goofy grin. ”It really has been too long,” she said with a sigh, propping her head up on her hands. ”So. Do you lot feel up for an adventure?”

”The Spinda-ful Berries Cafe is nice,” Leisy said with a grin. ”Used to love going to see the mascot Spinda, and went yesterday to stock up on berries. Which,” Leisy said, looking at Raven’s Eevee, ”seems to be Oliver’s favorite.”

Releasing her Pokemon from their Pokeballs, Leisy gave them a tip-to-tail inspection, thumbing feathers and fluff alike. Bidein was completely recovered, preening on Leisy’s shoulder after he landed, but Naunet seemed aloof. The Piplup stood awkwardly to the side, fiddling with her wings. ”Naunet?” Leisy asked, squatting down to the Piplup’s height. ”Are you okay?”

“Piplup,” the Piplup said quietly. Leisy patted her head comfortingly.

”It was just a training battle, Naunet,” Leisy said reassuringly. ”Besides, even if it did mean something, I know you tried your best. I never expected anything else. What happened just means that we’ll just have to work together to get stronger,” Leisy told her, looking to Bidein as well. ”That means you too, Dei. We all have to work to get stronger.”

Leisy straightened and stretched out her arms for the Piplup. ”C’mon and let me baby you while you’re still small?” Naunet waddled over, letting her trainer pick her up and hold her. Leisy grinned at how cute her Pokemon was before turning to Raven. ”Alright, off we go.”

Tommy frowned slightly at her reasoning, but didn't push for a real answer. There was more going on there besides just a lack of enough coffee, that much was clear. "I was thinking we could head out, maybe hit Feyhallow Town. One of my goals on this trip is to get a Dragon type, but I think getting a Fairy type first will make that easier. Heading out alright with you?" Truth be told, he knew he needed to leave soon to keep his parents from thinking he was trying to get out of their agreement after catching Amica.

While he waited for Cici to decide, he himself ordered a breakfast burrito for him and another pokesandwich for Amica. He then decided to play it safe and got her a few to go for their trip.

Raven couldn't resist a smile at seeing Leisy make sure her piplup was okay. They were just so cute! "Alright, I'll take your word for it." Raven said, he could use some berries after all, he'd been giving them to Oliver left and right and now that the Eevee knew he was hiding food he'd probably want all of it! Without further ado Leisy left and Raven was right behind her, no longer actively searching for Pokemon to catch but certainly keeping an eye out, in case something special happened to appear.
