Posted. I'm currently entering a kind of fast-forward mode, describing the events of the day. Your character posts will describe how your characters act within that day and what goals they achieve. I will then post a new 'day' post. I'm hoping to get each 'day' finished in about a week. More detailed interactions are certainly allowed, but try to avoid massive chains of posts, as I will move on to the next 'day' in maximally two weeks. On the seventh 'day' the Tyranid attack, and climax commences.

The Goa'uld mind. Unless you're planning to work out a deal with them first, in which case they'd be more understanding but just as likely to stab you in the back if they felt there was something to gain from it.

but anyway, unfortunately for the goa'uld their tricksy bits don't work on xel'rath (this is really bad rp for illusionists/tricksy people cause every other character's a fucking psychic...) plus, unless they have a base in japan it's not hard for him to just kinda nick it and set up a fort there. hell, he could probably get away with just nicking one of the islands in the archipelego

Nobody seemed to be questioning whether Savato was in the RP in spite of not posting for over a month. I figured that I could take a bit of a break too.

Thry don't a base there yet, but all they really need to do is scan the area and then park a spaceship over the base until Xel'rath agrees to negotiate. The Goa'uld do honor their deals, as long as they have an incentive to do so.

Issue with scanning is that the actual process is sending out an energy, having it bounce off an object, and back to an instrument... Xel'rath and all his creations would just kinda... eat the energy before it bounces back... for all intents and purposes, japan would become an abyss for scanning purposes which while i'm sure is terrifying, would create a situation where they have to actually send people to investigate. Though it WOULD give you someone to rp with that wasn't attempting to completely shit stomp your every effort :P

Yeah, an energy void is still pretty suspicious, and the Gosa'uld are paranoid enough that they'd investigate, see if the expendable people die, and then decide how to proceed from there.Which will probably involve making a deal of some kind unless Xel'rath attacks on sight or does something silly to get the people with a God complex angry at him :V

Firebrand is going to be sticking with Damien because he really has no other place to go right now, so wherever he decides to go is okay with me but if you decide not to head for Australia via Ozo's sick ass river magic can we hit up a place where we might find something like a enchanter/blacksmith? I want to see if I can get my armor reforged with the shards of that snakes wizards swords I just picked up to see if I can bump up my magic resistance.

Yey! Glad to have you back, and that the issue could be dealt with in a positive light.

In light of the Tyranid invasion I planned to have the Imperium send a diplomat to Goa'Uld lands, but considering how well our previous interaction went, ima ask if you want me to first. If yes, a small ship of ambassadors will arrive in my next post, if no, the Imperium will ignore the Goa'Uld for now.

Technically the Goa'uld aren't just Egyptian based (though the pyramid motif is most obvious in their ships) They have guys named after Chinese gods, Sumerian Gods, Irish gods, Greek Gods, basically any religion where the gods are dicks to humans was probably based off the Goa'uld in some extent, or adopted by the Goa'uld for political purposes.

Also the Jaffa themselves don't have god complexes, but that's a distinction we can get to later.

I'm not planning it. Firebrand can get out of the aoe of Threek's attack, easily. Ozo even pointed it out. I'd not try to force such a huge thing.
