@LadyRunic
Just wrote a terribly long post talking about my CS... but my pc froze and I lost everything T__T this is what I could remember of it

About the appearance, I actually had a picture (I often build my characters around a picture) but I refrained to use it.
Around 2,40m light green eyes, Agarwaen is a Sylvan elf hailing from Mirkwood (that's why I said that he does not have any bad feelings towards dwarves, different from others from his kind.)

spell check: sorry... I was travelling and wrote it from my cellphone... I use my cellphone to write in 3 different languages, so my auto corrector is very fcked up... this and the fact that my fingers are too big to press those tiny buttons -__-

What I thought originally in my css was he and his parents were watching closely Sauron and when he started to menace the natural balance, they had to go to the war. They had a rule: to never directly take part in a war, unless absolutely necessary. That rule had to be revoked when the War of the last Alliance began. Sauron was too big of a threat... The alliance was enough proof. His power was big enough to make such a big alliance against him.

Agarwaen himself had to go to that war together with his parents due to their group's rules.

His parents died together with Isildur in the Battle of the Gladden Fields, trying to protect the ring. Agarwaen, just like his father, didn't believed that Sauron was gone, convinced that he was a threat that needed to be put down above all else. During the beginning of the third age, Agarwaen, kept close watch to any signals of him returning, honing his skills waiting for when they were needed again. When the witch king appeared and the nazgul began to reappear, Agarwaen was one of the first to try to go against him, taking his rise and the reappearance of the nazgul as signs from Sauron's influence.
I didn't knew if I could just "insert" my character in battles and things that happened in the book, so I kinda scrapped those things... if you want I can revert it to its original state.

About the bow, the idea was just to it to fire oversized arrows Reinforced longbow will work just fine.
The idea behind it was that he needed to literally anchor the bow on the ground before firing it.
My character is an archer. think about a middle ages sniper The idea behind the gaundlet isn't "cutting one's head clean of his body" or other bullshit. The fancy materials were just to protect his hand from the bow's strings. in close quarters, the claws can be used to inflict a decent damage. Mainly using it to cut tendons, veins and things like that. It doesn't cut like a sword, but it can inflict moderate cuts and some decent stabs. Its purpose is to be used as a backup weapon, not a main weapon. using it instead of a sword or a knife, he has better agility, being able to parry other blades, grab them, cut enemies' hands & etc.

@13org I feel you on the big finger syndrome and I'm the same and a woman. -.-"

Alright I'll allow him, Just flesh him out with all that in the CS. The bow still would need to be smaller. You're traveling and that giant bastard would be a HUGE burden even for a Elf. Also note what provisions, money, (horse or no), you have in equipment. If you have it? Note it. Even when the Rp is going. The claws I'll allow, but you cannot slice hands off with them, that'd be going through bone and be a bit much. You'll also suffer penalty while wearing them and trying to use sword or dagger. Grip would be off. I would toss in a sword or such.

And yes you can insert your character into battles and such, just no major roles. Ie. No blood ties, no being a long lost sibling or something. No wire nor husband.

@LadyRunic

Nothing like slicing body parts of someone. Just cutting nerves etc.

I'm not a big fan of dismemberment. I prefer small and precise cuts.

Oh, and already found a suitable replacement for that bow.

Posting the CSS now. (Only a slight problem... I kinda got carried over... and my cs became even bigger XD)

Realistically, claws probably do not have the power to cut through armor, though. In fact, tougher leathers will be resilient but not impenetrable for that type of weapon.

Yup. Thats also in.

I dont plan to cut through armor. But Every armor has its weak spots. Joints, spaces between plates of armor etc.

About leather armor, they will be harder to cut through? Yes, but not impossible, and if one aims well enough, they can still inflict disabling wounds (plus, they still have their own weak spots).

They are basically gloves that aid in martial arts. I wont just run around cutting people to pieces, but instead using material arts. Parrying a sword with them, disarming them and breaking their arm with an open hand strike to the joints, perhaps a quick stab with the claws under his arm severing an important artery or hitting a nerve...

@13org Wee! Long! What's his height in feet/inches? (Is newb)

Good, but this group... It would be small. Not well known, probably scoffed at by certain groups. I'm not too keen on it to be honest, but I'll allow it.

Edit: Toss up a last name.

So I'm super tired right now, otherwise I would finish it but I think the only thing that needs work is the Bio. I'll add the specifics of her training and the recent events concerning her betrayal and walking out on the whole Ranger thing. Let me know if everything else is okay, though. The shorthand bio below is just like an abstract.

Nope, around 7'11" basically just like Elendil.
He is an Elf, naturally, he is tall
Do you think that 7' is tall? Thingol was around 9'.

7 foot 11 inches, would be tall evem for a elf. Might not be a bad idea to shave the height a bit, but eh. Thingol was 9 foot reportedly. @Daft Monarch i trust you to make that call as i personally recall glorfindel being tall as well.

Dang it tolkien give us values on hight not just tall, taller, and tallest!

@LadyRunic

Yeah... The average height for elfs and humans is... pretty complicated...

Some numenorians can be taller than some elves, and Tolkien often links elves' height to their nobility or power...

Again, 7" can be considered tall, or short compared to Thingol... OMG my brain is farting so hard
