Since this is 3.5 based, could we use Tome of Battle, aka Martial Adept classes? 'Cause I'd like to see if I could finally make a Ruby Knight Vindicator.

@EnterTheHero, thus far from the other topic there's been talk of a paladin and a spellthief-duskblade, but I've yet to hear back anything else - including for myself. I believe the overall theme is a bit more traditional and dark, but that's based solely on presentation; no reason I foresee not to include adepts, just some lore adjustments might be needed.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity Well, considering RKVs are militant assassin-priests, basically, I don't think that'll be a problem. Thanks for the info!

I believe the most overt change you might see our Dungeon Master request is following whatever system of faith exists, @EnterTheHero. That's just my assumption however, given I have no official say. That is an archetype I have wanted to play before however, in conjunction with Fist of Raziel, Ordained Champion and divine variant Abjurant Champion.

@EnterTheHero - Breifly looking over the Ruby Knight Vindicator as a build, I don't see anything particular problematic with the build for the purposes of this adventure. Wee Jas might require solicitation for membership just like any other religious figure. Just remember, it isn't all about the dice rolling and the D&D rules. Role playing will play quite a decent role too.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity - If by tradition you mean using the core books than yes, I would prefer to stick to core. However, as long as you aren't trying to use a prestige class at level one than I'm not going to quivel over trivialities of particular character builds as long as they are fitting. As for the system of faith, I found that at this particular time it was easier to allow for the current D&D3.5 pantheon from Pelor to Vecna and all those in between. It isn't my first choice, but I don't quite have the time to delve into a creation of a pantheon like I would have preferred.

And since I don't want people thinking that I am ignoring them or lossing interest I will state it here boldly and then make a position for it up top as I would like everyone to know the information about those involved.

I current work a night time continuous shift position on a 2-3-2 schedule. This means I work from 7pm to 7am M-T F-Sat one week and then Sun - Wed - Thurs the next week. So I intend to move this thread along with that schedule. For example, if I put my post up Monday I would be aiming to put my next post up on Wednesday around noon. Then you have until friday around noon to respond with the intention of being able to post freely on saturday and sunday. Then you'd have until Wednesday to post at that point. I know it is rather annoying but my schedule is a bit rough right now.

@ELGainsborough That's fine. The character themselves, and their experiences, play intrinsically into why they've decided to be a Knight-Vindicator.

@EnterTheHero @The Harbinger of Ferocity @Carrot @Yamazaki

I just wanted to get in touch with all of you and attempt to see where we are all at along the chain of creation here. If you folks are still interested, or no longer interested that information would be appreciated as well. I'm not harping. I know it takes a minute to get a character sheet together as well as get back into the swing of things when it comes to joining a D&D style campaign. Just trying to get a head count and see what is going on.

I will probably be composing and posting my initial post in the next few days so that once people are approved we don't have to wait to get things going.

Out of curiosity, is anyone likely to participate in this game intending to take up the magic spectrum as their forte? Thus far I have the mind to create an abjurer-conjurer wizard and cleric theurge scholarly sort, but that's born in large by the fact those interested are a paladin, cleric-adept and a spellthief-duskblade. My other path is some form of druid conjurer, perhaps even arcane hierophant in the same vein of arcane and divine.

@ELGainsborough Still here. Just having some trouble deciding, although I'm heavily leaning towards the Spelltheif/duskblade route. Now it's just a matter of power attack or weapon finesse route... I've got the feeling that finesse will overlap less in the group, which gives me more feats down the road for meta-magic...

@The Harbinger of Ferocity
It does seem like we'll have plenty of magic in our group. Which will work out nicely for the spellthief end of my character, since I can steal borrow spells from the party in a pinch.

@ELGainsborough I need to find my old character sheet to see what I was gonna do with this character, but I'm still interested, at least.

@ElGainsborough I'm still interested, just taking a bit to figure out the system. My OS (windows 10) can't seem to download interactive PDF files either, so I'm trying to find a workaround for that.

@ELGainsborough, you are most likely to see a submission from me coming this next day given I am now fairly confident of the party's make up. Unless I am wrong, @Carrot, @EnterTheHero, @Yamazaki, the current approach is paladin, spellthief-duskblade, cleric-adept and then my submission of either a cloistered cleric or totem druid with aims to theurge them.

As a replacement character sheet, I would recommend MythWeavers character sheets. I know it doesn't have the same format as normal 3.5 character sheets, but I know most browsers support it.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity - Sounds like a plan sir. I just don't want people to really lose interest before it gets off the ground. If it is going to suck, I at least want the opportunity to make it suck hahaha.

@Yamazaki - That would be fine as long as I can still view it. However, for those using the link you need to have an account which I am assuming is free. So as long as it has the majority of the required information found on the 3.5 sheet I am okay with its use.

* * * Update * * *

I just took a look at the Mythweaver Character Sheet for 3.5 and I will reiterate if you want to use the website to make your character sheet that is absolutely fine. The format is a little rough on my eyes but it is virtually the same thing. And I will be adding it to the appropriate section above. However, if you don't have an account I am not sure outside members are able to view the sheet. That I will refer to Yamazaki on.

As of this moment it does not appear I can upload the document, @ELGainsborough. That said, it is completed either way and I will attempt again later.

I've managed Myth Weavers to work, @ELGainsborough. I will set about getting that squared away and presentable tomorrow, given as of now I just threw everything into it as hastily as possible to get it down on a viewable file.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity @Yamazaki Both of these characters look sufficient. My only question is for Yamazaki, I need reference to where you found the spell thief class. Otherwise, both are approved and will be added to the list shortly. I'm going to message the v other guy here aND see if he is still interested. We will be starting Monday regardless.

For your uses, @ELGainsborough, here is an example of where the spellthief class can be found. The class itself is in the Complete Adventurer supplement if you have access to that book.
