So I'm fleshing out an idea for a sort of weird kind of RP. So basically, it's fantasy in a school setting, and the school is all about forging swords. A rigorous testing exam ensures all accepted students are exceptional in one area or another, be it endurance, talent, or will.
In my mind, it's probably going to be pretty hand-wavy on the actual forging part, either sort of inaccurate or skipped over. You can also use parts from monsters to make unique swords, but you'll evnetually have to hunt them yourself.
There's going to be something like a challenge from time to time to make a certain sword with certain materials or for certain conditions which can reward rare materials for the winner, and for each challenge, somebody else OOC makes a judge to do the challenge.
I'm putting this up before I sleep and I may end up elaborating more when I wake up.
