Written Appearance: Aldolani has tan skin from his days out at sea, and with the White God's gifts he has kept his skin like that, even under all that armor. His facial features are very smooth and he stopped being able to grow a beard along time ago. He has a lean face, thin lips and a chiseled jaw. His hair is long and wavy, while his ears are a bit pointier then most and his eyes gleam golden under the sun. His voice is almost melodic in nature and he almost never raises it above others.
Personality: Aldolani has always been a good person at heart, but is somewhat oblivious. He likes to talk, but when he gets going, he can be quite fast. He likes to do things with a semblance of order and conformity and has no love for chaotic nature. He is generally a nice person out of combat, but usually shows little emotion in the heat of combat, for that was how he was trained. Above all else, he has always been a devote follower of the White God but as of late, their is a certain sadness in his heart and one he does not know how to deal with.
Background: Aldolani grew up in Yeartenfall, a village next to the sea. His father, Johnos, was a fishermen and his mother, Marie, tended to their growing family at home. He was fortunate to have two siblings, and older sister, Charlotte and a younger brother, Tezio. His village worshiped the White God, for there was no other God of worth in their eyes. The White God protected them with his Holy Knights and in return, Yeartenfall praised them with great devotion. This was simple fact, as it was for all the villages and towns that called the region their home. They were complacent with the church and no evil ever came for the village, else they incur the wrath of their feared protectors, and all was good.
For the first half of his life Aldolani lived in Yeartenfall without much thought about what he wanted to do with his life. He was a good boy, attended to his studies, chores and worship without hesitation. For this was how he was brought up and he never questioned it, why would he need too? Now his father had plans for his oldest son, and that was for him to follow in the footsteps and become a fisherman just like his father, so he started him out young, teaching Aldolani everything there was about fishing but Aldolani grew annoyed with this. As he grew older, he fantasized about being the one thing that he had always looked up too, the Holy Knights. He loved his family but at the same time, he was growing discontent in Yeartenfall and listening to the stories only kept him wanting the real thing. So one night, he wrote a note to his family telling them that this was what he had to do and that he loved them so much. Since then, he hasn't had the chance to return home.
After Aldolani left Yeartenfall, his journey took him straight to the heart of the Church, and there he sought to join them, the Holy Knights. He was looked down upon at first but his devotion to the cause was undying and he was let in to trained as a squire. The Holy Knight that took him under wing, was Drol "The Tempered" Valken, a beast of a man that desired power over most. For four years he trained under Drol and he learned everything he could from him, the good and bad but kept growing stronger as they days went on. Drol was by no means the best Holy Knight in the land and his tactics were rather brutal but he was a good teacher and for that Aldolani respected him. His first real mission was under Drol's tutelage. They, along with another unit, were to go to a village supposedly in doubt of their God. Aldolani had already made up his mind about the village, they were misguided and needed to be shown the White God's compassion once more. Upon arrival in the village, everything seemed normal, at least to Aldolani. He was expecting something more, perhaps blood crazed villagers ready to attack but all was peaceful. Then the captain of the unit, Gregor, ordered a meeting with the leaders of the town. Gregor then took Drol into the town hall, leaving the others to stand watch outside. After about ten minutes, Drol burst out of the door and ordered the burning of the town to commence. His words were, "These townsfolk have violated the White God by sinning, remind them of their treacherous ways and give them salvation!" The first seeds of doubt in Aldolani were planted that day but he did as asked, for he was but a squire in service to his great God.
When Aldolani turned twenty-two he was gifted with his arc weapon by Drol, fully accepting the responsibilities of a Holy Knight and sacraments of the White God. By that time, he had seen and done much with Drol, but now he was free to walk and do so as he pleased, all in the name of the White God. It had been a great journey, Aldolani had gained much power, strength and knowledge from his time with Drol and for that he thanked him and the White God for allowing it to happen. Finally, after eight years of training, he had achieved his goal but at the same time, there was a hollowness inside him that he could not explain. It came and went just as the days went by, but it made him question who he really was and if he was happy.
For the next four years he walked various paths, met wonderful people and did his job, for this is the only thing he had ever wanted. He gained a reputation for being utmost loyal to the White God and the Church. He did what was told of him, never questioning his superiors orders but his feeling of hollowness only grew as he purged sinners and other supposedly wicked people.
Then the orders came, and to the Kingdom of Winslet Aldolani went, in order to quell the resistance that threatened King Rahgard's rule. When he arrived he was slightly shocked to realize that the resistance wasn't towards the King's rule, but to the Holy Knights themselves. He had been taught that the Knights were the pinnacle of human existence on Gaea, something to strive for everyday. Yet here, and everywhere, he could no longer ignore that people feared them for all the wrong reasons. He had joined the Holy Knights to be a symbol of hope, and order not to be used to break people and frighten them. It was here that he truly began to question if he had done the right thing sixteen years ago. Still, he could not abandon the White God or his teachings so easily, for they were the only things he now knew. As the days went on, things became steadily worse, and then King's family was taken, Aldolani knew not where. He was told however that the princess had escaped, and a select group of Holy Knights were being gathered to find her. He would be one such.
Current Story: "Aldolani Rixis, Holy Knight of the Church of the White God, protector of the realm and her people is here by sent to find Princess Anastasia Winslet and bring her back to the Kingdom of Winslet at any means necessary. We need here alive and unharmed Aldolani. May the White God watch your path. Dismissed and good hunting." -Great Holy Knight, Gregor.
Weapon: Aldolani's Arc is the blade, Twinsong. As its name suggests, the blade has the ability to transform into two forms. The first form is a long sword elegantly crafted in nature and etched with arcane runes. This form has the ability to become completely enveloped in the flame of the White God. Twinsong's second form allows it to become two short swords, but they lack any arcane potential and are for more brutal attacks.
Ability: Enhanced Speed- Aldolani has been gifted with great speed from the White God. He's incredibly fast on his toes and can easily out sprint a horse.
