After some time training, Yue decided to head back to the dorm and clean up. She was working up a sweat and felt like that now was a good time to take a break. And while cleaning was a duty of a maid, she did enjoy it as a hobby too. It was methodical and she liked arranging silverware and utensils. She was also certain that Skyra, Sepira, and Krysthane were also gone by now, since each one seemed like they had something important to do today. Perhaps Yue could clean up the room too, though her father had taught her that sometimes it was best to leave someone's belongings where they were since it's "organized" in their own messy way. At the very least she could do the dishes.

Yue knocked on the door. Even though she knows no one is inside, it was just a force of habit. Now that she thought of it however, she didn't have a key to the dorm and may have to postpone doing the dishes until later, but when she checked the door wasn't locked. "Oh! Hmm. Those girls shouldn't leave their door unlocked like that." Yue made a mental note to get a key for herself if she was going to be staying here. Once inside Yue looked around the room to see what she had to work with. She had to fight the urge to start gathering all the laundry and vacuum cleaner. Her maid insticts where just kicking in and she needed to do something, anything, or else she might snap. So she went to do the dishes.

Fortunately the girls ate all their food, so no leftovers to toss out. They didn't have a kitchen in their own dorm, so Yue would have to take the plates to the break room or somewhere. Now that she thought about it, where was Yue going to put these dishes? They were hers after all, and it's not as if she had a space here yet. She could just leave them with her luggage, but that was only going to be a temporary place. Perhaps she could reserve a space at the kitchen for her dishes and silverware. That would be nice. And as Yue was about to leave, she heard and explosion in the distance. She turned to look and saw something, or someone, rocketing towards her direction through the window.

Yue needed to act fast. First, open the window. She can't stop whatever it was that was coming at her, but she could at least minimize the glass shards coming in. Second, she needed to stop whatever that thing was. Fortunately she still had her Moonlight Greatsword. Drawing her weapon in one hand Yue ran towards the window and opened it, leaping out to intercept the mysterious flying object. "Sorry!" Yue shouted, in case this was a person, as she spiked the flying object down towards the ground with the flat of her sword. Using the force of her strike she bounced back into the dorm room, looking outside the window to check on whatever she just knocked away.

With her clothes fully tidied up, her eyes glancing between all three people she had interacted with in the armory, and her mind still wandering about the idea of eating food, Sangue nodded at Gren's proclamation of going on an adventure. It sounded like something she could understand more than 95% of anything related to technology, especially when she knew almost nothing about it. Her Claw did count as technology, albeit in a rather primitive manner according to the intelligent students, so perhaps she was not a total lost cause when it came to at least working with contraptions.

Sangue was in her usual attire outside of her student clothes- a black-and-red yukata, and a silver-red blade strapped around her hips. The only thing she was missing was a full bottle of venom, for she had not refilled it after her most recent mission with BASL and JCL. A fraction of it was left, but it was clearly not enough for her to produce the full impact of what she could do with a poison-tainted weapon.

She decided that she wouldn't be using it in the Emerald Forest unless she wanted to keep herself hydrated. Venom, to her, was like water, so there was no reason for her to not treat it as such.

Still, the idea of going on a trip with students she had not gotten herself to become fully accustomed with... It was both a matter of curiosity and hope for her: curious in the sense that she wanted to know more about them, even if she were to do so from afar, and hopeful in that she could perhaps get to know more people outside of BASL and Lube Schwarz.

...Was it not Lube? Yes, it certainly was Luke. She remembered when the memory of Luke giving her an almost disturbed look in response came to mind. He was her friend, so she knew she needed to make every effort to not make him feel disgusted with her.

Turning to Sapphire, Sangue could not help but internally admire Sapphire's current arsenal after taking a closer look. There were several melee weapons she recognized such as a scythe, a katana, and scimitars... but what were the other things she had on her? They looked like cannons, firearms of some kind, and... something. It almost overwhelmed the red snake when she tried to picture Sapphire using all of the weapons at once.

And the Naga's mind of logic and reasoning fell into the brink of destruction when she pictured it.

But the woman herself seemed polite, seeing how she had her own set of etiquette, even if she did not openly present it to others.

The snake stared at the weapons Sapphire had, her eyes unknowingly wider than usual while keeping her overall expression as idle as ever.

Abel Fulgurate
@Eklispe

For the first time in a long time, Abel realized when someone was joking. This mundane skill, harbored by practically everyone, did not thrive in the guardian, but this time Krysanthe made it easy. In fact, she made it so obvious that Abel wondered if she already knew him well enough to assist him in the matter of joke-recognition. While certainly nice, this act made him a little ambivalent, since he did want to get better about it. No matter—the time to respond was nigh. “I think I'm good,” he told her, offering a wry smile of his own. Even if her gravity semblance could make crossing the gap a trifle, he wanted to do it himself. With this in mind, Abel stepped back from the precipice, moving far enough to get a running start.

After steeling himself with a sharp intake of breath, the guardian switched his grip on the Ampere to an overhead, point-down grip, then took off. His feet pounded the grassy ground while the yawning chasm grew closer and closer. At the very brink he launched himself into the air, taking to the sky like the glorious penguin, and with arms and legs windmilling hurled toward the other side. His weapon plunged into the exposed earth, and as the full force of his weight bore down on it, the polearm remained firm in its grip. Abel released his breath, heart beating. Heights did not suit him, but embarrassing himself in front of Krysanthe suited him far less. In his current situation however, he couldn't heave himself up to the top. Electrokinesis, Abel told himself, focusing on an idea he'd thought up on Thursday but never tested. My semblance is lightning. It can be used to attack, but I mostly use it to attract and repel conductive materials, like the Ampere. So this should work. It has to work.

Cautiously he let go of the Ampere with one hand to fumble around in his pocket. When he withdrew it, a gray cylinder lay in his palm. It looked just like a grenade made of scrap and given a core of blue dust, which was, of course, what it was. He pressed the button on the device's top, triggering the delayed reaction, and held it above his head. A moment later it exploded, launching a stream of water out either end. It splashed all over the cliff face, and after putting the grenade shell away, Abel held his hand against the wall of earth. He allowed his aura to flow through his hand and into the soaked soil, and sparks began to fly. When he tugged downward, his hand didn't budge. Even as his muscles screamed, the guardian's heart soared; it might work! Very slowly he loosened his grip on the Ampere, knowing that the moment of truth was coming. When he could hesitate no longer, he let go of his weapon and raced to plaster his hand against the chasm wall. Impossibly, he did not plummet to the depths, but instead remained attached to the wall—adhered by electric attraction. Not daring to trust in his truck, Abel rushed to scale the damp cliff, heaving himself higher and higher until he could latch onto the top. It was there, on the edge of success, that he stalled. The grass overgrew the clifftop, and unlike the greedy soil it did not absorb water, instead dripping it down. He could not get enough of a purchase there, and even if he could, the grass he clung to could very well snap off and send him falling.

Abel was, however, not quite aware of this. He reached up to the grass to continue his climb, and when the attraction didn't work, he grabbed a clump of grass with his fingers. At that moment he froze. His choices were to let go of the grass and try to find another solution, which might lead to a rapid descent when his muscles eventually failed, or to try and let go with his lower hand in order to get a purchase on the top to use to pull himself up, though the original grass might break. Sweat beaded on his brow. What was a poor tank to do?

Hahaha, she was cute, as expected!
Wait...

Cookies?

"Cookies?" Skyra's ears perked up. "Of course I like cookies... who in their right mind wouldn't!"

She mustered Emerald closely. Up and down, down and up before finally introducing herself. "Skyra Dawn, first year." Once again she looked at Emerald. "You're injured?" Then she rolled her eyes and slapped herself on the head, right on top where the bandage on her head was placed. "Ouch. Duh! Of course you are, you're in the infirmary Hah. And you're probably not stupid enough that these injuries are self-inflicted."
She tilted her head, stuck out her tongue and brought her fist to the top of her tilted head. "Pyehe!"

Emerald nodded in agreement, anyone who didn't like cookies was crazy. When Skyra asked if she was injured she frowned slightly and nodded. Her frown didn't last very long as Skyra proceeded to stick out her tongue and act like a goof. Emerald couldn't help but giggle, even without the paid meds she was rather easy to amuse.

"I like you, you're silly." Emerald grinned briefly, then her expression sobered up a bit. "Yeah I got hurt pretty bad...my whole team did." She gestured to her teammates nearby. "Got some nasty gashes on my arms and back...and I got stabbed in the gut, pretty lame for my first mission ever." Emerald flinched just thinking about when she got stabbed, almost as if she could recall exactly how it felt when it happened.

"I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to sleep properly again, been having these vivid nightmares...which is like really lame cause I love sleeping!"

Oswald Connoly- Infirmary

Oswald was thoroughly chastised by Diamond as she shot down his actions during their mission. As much as he hated to admit it, she was right. They shouldn't have underestimated those Ratatosks, despite their low classification. While he was right about them not presenting mortal danger, they had managed to strip the team of most of their gear. Gear which could have helped them immensely later on. Oswald could think of a few uses for his Dust crystals during the back half of the mission.

It was yet another mistake that weighed on his mind. Had he not spoken up, the team likely would have sent those Ratatosks running, filled with bullets, shut, and Dust wounds. He had, though. They might have been able to handle the Grimm that might have come in response. They might have been together for the rest of their mission. Things might have gone differently.

He wasn't sure if it mattered at this point, frankly. There was a lesson to be learned, and that was the most important thing. "I'll be the first to admit that you're right, not that it makes any difference. I'd be willing to work with other teams on combat tactics, as well. We don't have much in the way of synergy, aside from what little you and I worked with on that first mission of ours, as doomed as that was." It was days like this that he really missed his old team. Being able to move while knowing that somebody not only had your back, but would be moving to complement your attack.

Emerald and the new cat Faunus were trying his concentration, however adorable their conversation was. He understood that Emerald wanted to move past what had happened, maybe even forget it completely, but their team was hardly an effective fighting unit. They couldn't work together if they didn't have this conversation.

He wasn't going to say anything, though. They all had enough stress to worry about at the moment.

"Uh, yeah, sounds like a plan!"

I said that pretty hastily, because once she'd noticed the way her wet clothes hugged her skin, I ended up noticing it too.

Not fair, not fair at all! I can't be polite about it if you go and point it out! Really, what could she have expected? I was a functioning guy and she had just jumped straight into the pool. Of course her clothes were gonna cling, so imagine how I felt when she drew my attention right back onto that after the Herculean effort I'd made to ignore it in the name of being a proper confidant!

Was this just spitting in the face of my politeness?

...

I think I might be a bad person for making that argument that it was her fault.

Actually, that definitely makes me a bad person.

Er.

It was an unfortunate coincidence, in reality. I averted my head after a moment of short-circuited, blank looking that in no way involved an artistic appreciation about the power offered by the suggestion of curvature and form beneath the clothing, and turned fully away with a throat-clearing cough, beginning to walk away.

I hoped to myself that it didn't, anyway.

"Have a good night, then." I said with a wave.

On a serious note—

Some rest probably would have done her good after that outpouring. I could easily kill two birds with one stone by not sticking around and giving any reason to keep her from getting it when she needed it.

Let alone my needing the same.

Sapphire Rode - Armoury

Some undefined stuff related to the Faunus Civil Rights War and Gren's family that probably makes Sapphire suspicious but she doesn't say anything and decides to look into it on her own to get a better grasp of things.

Sapphire rolled her eyes as Gren tried to play off his mistake about which forest they were visiting. Admittedly the plan to search for titanite in abandoned mine wasn't a bad one considering their budget and resource limit but Sapphire didn't see why Gren had to act like he knew everything. Why not just admit he'd mixed up the forests. Considering they were both used for the Beacon initiations and none of them had been to the Emerald Forest before it wasn't as though it was serious or embarrassing. Sapphire shook her head, boys, ego above all.

Shortly after this Gren reassembled his weapon, The Got Eater (Sapphire thought better than to comment on that name) and retrieved what looked like a rudimentary jetpack from one of the crafting tables before blasting off through one of the drafting room skylights that had been left open. She couldn't imagine he'd have a very pleasant landing but the exit was mildly impressive.

Sapphire had considered going with them but decided against it. She had her own mission today and besides, if the past was any indication they were better off without her. She fought better on her own without the possibility of her teammates being injured or killed distracting her mind. She needed some new solo moves to compliment a team dynamic. Still she was going to Forever Fall anyways for her weapons testing. She might as well offer her aid in a limited capacity.

With Gren gone she had only Shiro to approach as Sangue wasn't really in charge of this "adventure". "Shiro, she said approaching him at the CNC machine. "Don't know if you were listening but Gren mixed up the forests, you guys are going to Forever Fall for the materials for Sangue's arm." Not wanting to draw it out any further Sapphire continued to speak. "I'm not going with you guys, I have a project of my own to see to today" she motioned to the vast array of weapons strapped over her clothing. "Incidentally though I'm going to be in Forever Fall so I'll try to keep in the vicinity of the mine. If you guys run into trouble and you need help I'll be nearby."

With that out of the way Sapphire was about to leave the armoury when an idea came to her and she went back into the equipment room and returned a few minutes later with a grappling hook and length of black rope tied to her belt. As she passed Sangue on her way out Sapphire stopped for a moment to speak to the girl. She had seen Sangue's eyes glaze over as Shiro rambled about the tech he was going to install in Sangue's arm. "Hey, I know the boys can go a little overboard when they have a new project in the works. If you need a hand understanding what they're talking about I'd be honored to lend mine." Sapphire bowed to Sangue again in the traditional manner and wished her well with an old hunter's farewell. *"Let the winds guide you on your way and the sun blind your foes."

Sapphire left the armoury heading for the airship docks. Forever Fall ran through much of the northern coast of Vale. There was a section of it not far from Beacon but the area used for the initiation had been a greater distance. She would have to take an airship into Vale proper and then another to the area where the titanite mine had been. Of course Sapphire didn't need to be in that area but the commute was not a long one and it cost her nothing to be there in case her teammates required assistance.

ferret feeder?

"I didnt actually just ran up to me" Cian said looking at Jack as she quickly followed the ferret. She had no idea why she was really doing this I mean who knew who even owned said ferrent since she sure didn't still all things considered it was certainly a interesting break from her training to say the least. "How ridiculous I must seem to be following a ferret around" She added her voice carrying a small tone of mirth as she followed the thing. Plus she supposed she could do with getting herself some food as well having herself not eaten yet mainly due to her near crazy training routine she inflicted upon herself.

Cobalt listened to Diamond intently, no matter how absolutely attention grabbing the cat girl cuteness was, nodding in agreement when she reached her point about training. "Training is definitely number 1 on the list of our priorities, both team and individual. If you could introduce me to Shiro I could get some sort of training set up with him."

Diamond expanded slightly more on the Semblance issue and a thoughtful look crossed over Cobalt's face. "Alright, I do suggest 2 things though. Talk to a professor about this, we don't know if this is possibly a health risk or not. And we also need to get you a weapon, I could help you make your own if you want. Not to brag or anything, but I made the 22 Smasher myself. It was an intensive process but that's beside the point."

Cobalt looked at Emerald and sighed. "I really hate to interrupt this adorable interaction, but we are currently having a team meeting. Could you perhaps join us Emerald?" Cobalt wore a patient smile on his face, really hoping for Emerald to come out from under the sheets.

“Don’t be an idiot.” Ben supplied helpfully, ruffling his best friend’s hair enough to make her need a second to fix it. It’d distract her from being mopey (or insane) for a second. “We just made a couple grand on a mission where I fought a Manticore and you were running around topless half the time. And that’s before we get into starting an elevator by electrocuting Luke. I’d call that crazier than hiding from Bratva in a bull. You were sober for this. So if you don’t think you’re gonna have crazy stories with this crew, you’re an idiot.”

Besides, ‘hatred for the White Devil’ includes me. You can’t hate me.” The Huntsman-in-training continued, eyes scanning his surroundings even though most of his attention was still on his teammate. The line really was glacial; they had taken maybe a few steps the entire time Lauren was talking. Maybe. At this rate they’d be waiting ages just to get in, if they got in at all. What could speed things up… “I’m pretty sure that’s against some kind of rule.”

Perfect.

“Speaking of stories, follow me and stick to mine.” His arm, snaked around Lauren’s waist after he ruffled her hair, yanked her out of line with him while he slipped on his BaSTEELs. Once he was sure she had come with him he pulled his arm away, resting his palm loosely on Artorius’ handle. Bastille’s leader slipped comfortably into the wake of a well-respected (and admittedly hot) arrival he recognized from an announcement as now-Professor Nuit, traveling a few feet behind and to her right. He doubted she even really noticed he was there, nor that Lauren had gotten the cue and started flanking her left. Not even all the would-be-patrons noticed, though the ones that did were shooting them murderous looks. The Vale native just ignored them, keeping his face neutral. Almost bored, like the whole situation was beneath him.

It stayed that way right up until the bouncer decided it was a good idea to stop him.

“Hey, back of the line. You can’t just walk up here.”

”Excuse me?” Ben stopped, less because of the hand barring his way and more to stare at the bouncer. ”What was that?”

“I said ‘back of the line’, what are you, deaf?” Junior’s henchman rolled his eyes behind his shades, and stabbed a finger towards the line stretching down the street. “Unless the boss got plastic surgery, you don’t walk in. Wait your turn.”

”You’re new, so I’ll fill you in.” His face stayed bored, but a hint of irritation was creeping into his tone. “Let us through, or you’ll have to explain to Ms. Nuit why her security is stuck outside.”

“Ms. Nuit don’t need security, she can take care of herself. I’ve been working for Junior for years and she’s never had security with her before. Nice try, kid.”

”You’ve never been beaten up by a girl younger than me before, have you? Ms. Nuit didn’t need any security when she thought Junior’s was competent.” The last word took an on abruptly harsh tone, while Ben slipped off his BaSTEELs and deposited them in his pocket so he could look the mook in the eye. His tone was soft, now, dangerously smooth with an aura of impatience. ”My employer could lay either of us out flat, but she’s not here to watch her back. She’s here to have fun. So she pays us to watch her back.”

“Now, I get it. Most of Junior’s crew is still laid up, you’re not used to working the door. I’d like to cut you some slack. But the boss’ll feed me my teeth if we’re not in there in five minutes, and I’d rather feed you yours than get her pissed at me. So you can let us in, I can step over you to get in, or you can call Ms. Nuit out here to explain why you won’t let us through. God help you if you do.”

The henchman blinked first, unclipping the cordon and waving them through. “Go right in, sir. You too, ma’am.”

“Thanks. You have a good night. I’ll put in a good word with Ms. Nuit for you.” Ben slipped a few lien notes into the bouncer’s suit coat, patting his shoulder and drawing Lauren into the club with him after taking his hand off of Artorius. He kept up the facade until they were past the door, safely inside the club’s crowds, then turned to Lauren with a huge grin.

“So, what do you want to drink?”

Jack Orpheus

@suku@Lucius Cypher

"I dunno, maybe. It seems to have some purpose", at this point he was following out of curiosity, plus... Either he was hearing things, or it actually did talk to him. The way it moved was not like any animal just blindly running around, it was focused. Jack's mind was just blank for now, but maybe occupying himself with something might help for the time being. Though the idea of getting something to eat didn't sound bad to him, in fact he'd forgotten he didn't get a proper lunch yet, just a drink or two here and there, nothing substantial.

This ferret seemed to have some idea of what it wanted, which was food. Wait... Were they going to let it order from a menu? Well in any case, they'll just have to see.

Kuhaku Shiro

Shiro's head and eyes followed after Gren as he took off through the roof, quite literally. "Ohhh...." he said in awe. Shielding his eyes with a gloved hand, he grinned widely. Laughing as he was more than mildly impressed by his friend's rather dramatic exit. That was Gren for you, go big or go home. As far as people he knew went, Gren was far from subtle in every aspect of his life. Shiro even softly clapped a few times, though his applause would go probably go unheard. Wherever Gren went, explosions typically followed.

"Witnessed."
Shiro said quietly, for some inexplicable reason.

Turning back to his work, messing with his Scroll, Shiro's perception alerted him to his cherished team leader approaching him from behind. His ears twitching and swiveling, he kept his back turned to her and focused himself rather easily. Tapping away at the screen of his Scroll's tablet function. He listened to what Sapphire had to say, but he gave her a short and curt reply.

"Okay. I'm sure we'll be fine without you."
And left it at that.

Once she left too, Shiro figured it was time for him to do the same. He would need to check out his weaponry and some Dust ammunition while he was at it. No telling what they would find down there in those mines. Like, giant armored centipede Grimm or something. Looking up at the CNC machine in front of him, he was sure that it would continue to work just fine without his oversight or guidance. He was sure no one would be so petty to steal what it was he was working on as well, so walking away from it he passed by Sangue.

Flashing her a smile and with a wave of his hand, he continued to stroll right past her.
Scroll in hand.
"I'm gonna go now, Sang. See you at the air docks! I'm sure this'll be fun!"

Then, exiting the Armory, not aware that he was leaving the very place he needed to stay at to check out his gear, Shiro traipsed along. Eyes glued to his Scroll, Shiro was victim to his own tunnel vision. Concentrating on every little detail and part of Sangue's feature arm that he still needed to work on. Deciding which would be best left up to Sangue's decisions and Gren's areas of expertise.

Muttering to himself, he stared down at the 3D rendering of Sangue's conceptualized arm.
"There needs to be connection points here, here, annnnd here! Something to feed the 'tendons' through to be controlled by a small motor or gearbox on the upper arm. These need to be segmented. Joints mimicking the human skeleton. Easy 'nuff! But...what about the armor and coverings? Hmm, might as well keep it simple...Although...what to secure the separate pieces together with? Some sort of latch or lock. It has to withstand the rigors of combat without failing and exposing the more delicate internals. That would be life-threatening and problematic to say the least..."
Walking further and further away from the Armory, he continued to talk to himself.
Head down and low.
Tapping and swiping away at his Tablet while he brainstormed...

At the sight of Sapphire formally bowing to her, Sangue promptly bowed yet again. Although Sapphire seemed to be a serious person, if she didn't have a heart, she wouldn't have spoken to someone as unimpressively outdated as Sangue.

"Thank you," Sangue responded quietly as the blue-haired huntress departed.

And with that, she was left alone with Shiro. She felt it; the unfamiliar, yet familiar feeling of contempt behind the Faunus' words when he spoke with Sapphire. Something was sour in the tone Shiro had when he spoke with Sapphire...

Yet, all Sangue could hope for was the white-haired boy and the blue-haired girl to get along sometime. Nothing further than that- for anything further would simply be Sangue trying to butt into other people's relationships.

When Shiro returned to his cheerful demeanor and waved her goodbye, however, Sangue blinked.

Unlike the absolutely armed-and-ready Sapphire, Shiro looked like he was just going out on a walk. Why was that the case...? The red snake watched Shiro leave as she wondered what felt off about the student.

It wasn't like he didn't pack up his gear, right?

Putting down her blade with its sheath attached on top of a crate, the long-haired woman observed the weapon as she put her Claw next to it. She tried to think up of more ways to make her incoming upgrade better, but truthfully, Gren and Shiro probably knew more on what makes technologically advanced weapons actually effective. As these thoughts flowed down her mind, her stomach rumbled.

...

Looking around the armory for a bit, Sangue crept out of it...

...before heading to the cafeteria.

Much to her horror, a certain realization dawned upon her as soon as she arrived at the very entrance of the cafeteria.

I-...I forgot... to bring my sword.

If she went to pick up her sword, then she would have to sacrifice the food she wanted to eat earlier. On the other hand, if she ate the food, there was the chance of someone unknowingly taking her most important weapon.

And she wasn't going to be throwing food at Grimm and the like in potential upcoming missions, so the decision she had to make was obvious.

I'll... have food for a later time, she noted solemnly as she turned back.

Instead of eating, she decided to retrieve her weapon and head immediately to the docks. She was not good with directions anyway, so going earlier than she originally planned would be a good idea for someone like her.

W H I T E D E V I L

Look at how thoroughly Ben had bewitched that bouncer with his fast tongue and evil grin! It was a completely different brand of seduction than picking up girls at a club or fencing stolen shit; her beloved Cap, with his innocent face, scruffy hair, tight little clothes, and probably even his laminated v-card, could seduce authority figures!

It was an unholy skill, born of dark magicks and privileges that Lauren could never tap into. Ben could talk them into a club without even having to hit somebody with an ax or digging a tunnel up into the bathroom. Ben could probably get away with going ten or fifteen miles over the speed limit - and if he couldn't, he could probably at least get the cops to leave him alone! And they wouldn't care about the small shotguns he kept in the glove box!

That's...

That's...

This is fucking racist!

Now she didn't even feel bad for molesting him.

Nonetheless, Bastille's Black Panther burrowed herself into Ben's one-armed grip, notching their hips together like conjoined twins as they found their way to a table and each kicked their feet up irreverently along a different half of the semicircular seat. Lauren pulled out her Scroll and began plugging variables into the screen, setting it down on the table between them so that they could both see what she was doing.

Plugging vodka flavors into a wheel.

"All praise to the Most High. The young God Lauren begs you to hear her call," she intoned over the alcoholic smorgasbord. "It's been a long week for I and I on Team Bastille. Today I had to ignore my black people programming and go into a spooky factory to fix the fuckery of white people yet again, God. I beg your forgiveness for this act of trespass. You may see that I have invited the White Devil into my heart and my entourage. I beg your forgiveness for this act of trespass, and ask only that you accept him as blood of my blood. His name is Benjamin Lloyd, and I love him with all my heart. He may even have a little mulatto in his blood. If you...turn your head and squint a lil. And then close your eyes completely. Dear Heavenly Lord, the Most High, we ask that after this long and trying day of fixing the fuckery of white people, you bless this spin of the wheel and give us a real-ass flavor of vodka like snap frost or red berry. Or even apple. Please do not hex us with no shit like coconut or pineapple, Most High, for these are the bullshit flavors of the Mistralians and lead only down the thorny path of simpdom. I love you, God, wallahi."

Clearly, she took this seriously as she spun.

And shrieked.

"Son of a bitch!"

Ben bit the bullet and ordered the bottle for them. While Lauren sulked, feet crossed at the ankle and head sullenly bobbing to the trap beat playing over the recently-reopened club's speakers, her gaze was wandering the bar and landed on a girl whose white hair and chic look made her stick out from the rest of the Vale party scene. Her gaze tilted over and turned back to Cap lazily.

"Hey, who was the broad who you pretended to know to get us in, anyway?"

Diamond - Infirmary

As they guy s spoke, Diamond stole the moment and called dibs on the spare burger as emerald seemed to be too preoccupied to make her choice before the thief starved to death. Diamond figured the kittne liked fish, so she would be fine with other sea food. If not, well, a lesson learned to pay attention to her surroundings, especially food bearing ones. Squeezing the sandwich and taking a bite, she let the odor and taste momentarily scramble her senses.

As she ate she listened to what Cobalt and Oswald had to say, and found herself disappointed at the lack of fresh ideas. If only it was this easy to get them to see things her way on the actual mission. Perhaps she was being too harsh judging given they were still bedridden and likely a little shaken from the earlier events, but this was important! They had to figure this stuff out or next week it would be even worse.

She wasn't entirely free of the two furry eared distractions in the room though, and while one of her ears picked up the important conversation, the other heard something about cookies, reminding ehr of what was left in her bag. Opening the box she filled the room with the smell of chocolate as she piled them up on a plate. Diamond decided to abandon her observation and escalate to an experiment. Picking one up her eyes flashed white ever so slightly as she flown the cookie out and parked it in between the faunus. One cookie. Two cats. Only one can end up hyperglycemic. she thought in a movie trialer voice. She was happy emerald found a distraction for her worries for a while though... and of course Cobalt the ignorant unfeeling iceheart had to call her out on it, earning himself a glare.

"I believe Sapphire is the leader of swansong actually. Not that you would be able to get Tigerboy to focus for more than thirty seconds. And I don't want any weapon, I didn't use any since I was twelve. I'll do fine with the implant for now, I did switch my classes around and paid for some extra tutoring so it should be fine. I wouldn't be mad if we picked something easier to do for next week though, or for however long it takes for us to recover and get our act together." she shrugged.

Skyra flinched a bit when she heard what had happened to Emerald and her team, but she nodded. "Yeah, some in my team also suffered injuries. And we lost a team member as well." She smiled weakly. "Don't worry about it, I think I am over it already now. Or about to be."
When blue-hair-dude told her, they were currently in a team-meeting, Skyra turned to him, bowed slightly and apologized. "I am sorry, I did not notice. I'll leave right away... after having a cookie, of course." She grinned at the sole cookie offered to Emerald and her. Two cats, one cookie. Pretty unfair, no? At least Skyra thought so.

After a couple dozen seconds of simply staring at said cookie, a devious smile appeared on her face and a slightly sinister giggle escaped her mouth. With a side-glance she eyed the plate full of delicious cookies on the other side of the room.

In the blink of a moment, Skyra was gone from her place beside Emerald's bed and basically reappeared dangling from the celing above the cookie plate with a cookie in her mouth pierced by one of her fangs. She dropped back down hands first.
Touching down with her hands first, she launched her body backwards until she landed back on her feet. Backflip complete, massive grin, with cookie in her mouth equipped!

Emerald was about to say something cheeky in response to Cobalt when a cookie landed between her and Skyra. The gods have answered my prayers! Of course it was then she realized that there was only one cookie, and two of them.

She nabbed that cookie faster than one could blink. She liked Skyra but Emerald clearly needed that cookie more! Luckily Skyra had done the smart thing and nabbed a cookie from Diamond's plate. Emerald just grinned as she ate her own cookie. Impressed with Skyra's apparent agility and speed, she clapped.

Wait did Skyra say she was gonna leave!? That wouldn't do! "Skyra don't leave after you eat that cookie! If you do I'll probably bite Cobalt..." Emerald devoured the rest of her cookie, before looking at her teammates. "I can multitask I swear! I was totally listening to whatever it was you were saying about team...stuff..."

A muscle twitched involuntarily at the corner of Geni's right eye, his mouth forming a rigid grimace. With arms folded tightly across his broad chest he tapped his foot furiously and all the while stared out of the clear window. This fitfully sunny morning would either see the dawn of his new life or snap his dreams in two.

After two weeks of sulking and independent study in the form of weapon building, he found himself back at square one, re-restarting his life. After the altercation he sort of instigated on the first day of school, he missed most of the First Quarter, which meant that most of his grades had either dropped or stagnated, and it was most likely the later since he neglected to do any of the word that had been sent home. His Armory class grade was most likely his only real grade actually, if anything, everything else should have been excused.

Like hail on a glass pane, the drumming of his fingers was as relentless as it was loud. Each click of the razor sharp knives on the counter he leaned on echoed the tumultuous thudding of his heart beat. Beacon grew larger and larger as his airship grew all the more closer, the hum of its engines his only companion on this Saturday morning. Despite the fact that his actual suspension ended on the following Monday, with permission from administration, he was given an early out to get reacquainted with his surroundings, half a day wasn't enough to do so the first time.

With a mechanical whirling and a long 'beep'. Geni was given heed of the ships impending dock. Leaving his place on the dock, and large duffle bag in hand, he began pacing up and down as if determined to wear out a thin trail in the metal. His eyes were large and watery and as he paced he constantly punched one hand into the other. The butterflies in his stomach didn't come from his general 'return to school apprehension', but it was the fear of reintegration and judgement, that had him wondering. It was constantly on his mind, even if he wasn't required to meet or interact with any students today, the possibility of another outburst was always in back of his head.

With a second extended 'beep', Geni let the reality of his situation truly sink in, despite his faults and violent past, he had been accepted into one of the most prestigious schools in the world and given a second chance at life, he wouldn't waste it on some idiots opinion.

With a deep breath, Geni stepped off the airship and gazed at his school, once again sharing the air with the best Hunters in the world. This led Geni eyes to eventually land on a very recognizable figure, Sapphire. For the first time today, he displayed a genuine smile that showed of his sharp teeth.

"Well look who we have here? Fancy meeting you again." Geni mused as he made his way over to her.
