Oli
"
Sometimes the only life you can save is your own. And that's okay."
║ Name ║Oliver Everett Nichols
║ Birthday & Age ║January 14th, 2000
║ Gender & Sexual Orientation ║Male, Bisexual
║ Other Labels ║Clique: The Artsy Crowd. Oli's one of the more senior members of the drama club and is a whiz with a camera.
What People Say: When everyone thinks he isn't listening, Oli is the kid who's brother died. The sob story. And also Hardcore Hamlet. Not many drama kids can chug a bottle of Smirnoff like Oli can.
Politically: Dirty Liberal
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Whiter than white bread.
║ Occupation ║Oli is a waiter at the local diner.
║ Appearance ║Oli's hot. He sure as hell doesn't think so, but everyone else certainly does. His shaggy, dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes are the source of plenty of admiration. He's around six feet, not the tallest kid at school, but not short by any means. He's built thanks to the few days a week he spends at the school's gym, but he clearly isn't a football player. His smile is infectious though, and when his lips curl into a grin his whole face joins them. Blemish wise, Oli got lucky. His skin is relatively clear, aside from the smattering of freckles that cover his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. The most notable marking on him is the scar on his chin, the one mark from the car accident that he was in last April.
Perhaps the thing that draws the most attention to Oli is his presence. When he walks into a room, he owns it. His confidence seems to silently announce his arrival. He walks with a swagger, even in the face of recent tragedies. When he walks, he walks with purpose. He doesn't move around groups, he moves through them. Such is the way of Oli Nichols.
║ Personality ║ The Negative:- Stubborn
- Controlling
- Obnoxious
What You See:
Four words. Pain. In. The. Ass. Oli is loud and obnoxious, to the point that many instantly think of him as that one annoying asshole. Those who don't know him well enough thinks he's an annoying attention whore, who'd rather be up on stage or behind a camera than in a classroom. In short, he's not exactly extremely well liked by those he's not close with, especially most of the quieter more reserved kids.
What I Know:
To those that really know Oli, he's the nicest guy you could ever know, which is a bit of a miracle considering the events of the past year. He's one of those people who truly cares about others, someone who goes out of his way to help others. While he can be obnoxious and annoying at times, he does care about people's feelings. He's also a great friend, loyal to a fault. If Oli is your friend, and more likely than not he is, he'll stand by your side through pretty much anything. But Oli's most memorable trait, perhaps the one that everyone knows him by, is his sense of humor. He loves to laugh and make others do so, and it's what has helped him get so into his stage productions.
While Oli doesn't hide much of himself from others, he does feel the need to hide bits and pieces. Since the car accident last April, Oli has been different. He's far more controlling than normal, and hates leaving things to chance. He's also considerably more stubborn and rarely allows any other way but his way. Oli's temper has also been flaring up more and more. He's hurt, but he won't let anyone see that. Not now, and if he has his way, not ever.

║ Brief History ║When Jameson Nichols came back to town with a young woman on his arm and a wedding ring on his finger, everyone was shocked. His new bride was two months pregnant and everyone thought that it must have been a shotgun wedding. Jameson was going places they all said. He was too young to just marry some random girl from Boston and move back home. But that's exactly what he did. Seven months later, Jameson and his wife Lucy had not one, not two, but three kids on their hands. Oliver,
Madison, and
Lucas. The Nichols Triplets.
The Nichols quickly settled in. Jameson, a lawyer, got a job at a small law firm in town and Lucy became the assistant librarian, and read to the younger town kids on the weekends. As the oldest, Oli became the more or less leader of the troublesome trio, who were inseparable from the moment they lay eyes on one another. The three kids spent time running rampant around their mother's library and their father's office. Their dad was one of the only lawyers in town, so his practice was often booked, but their mom would regularly read to them. The library wasn't exactly a hub of business.
As Oli grew older, he found his place on stage. He began acting in the elementary school plays when he was in second grade, and from there on out he wanted nothing other than a life in the spotlight. He loved to entertain people and everyone knew it. In school he was the class clown, and the teacher's worst nightmare.
Entering high school was a surprisingly easy transition for the triplets. Oli was already well acquainted with upperclassmen from his time in the theatre, not to mention the size of their town. Madison excelled socially, and always had, but Lucas was different. As his siblings spread their wings, he preferred to stay quiet and reserved. He never did grow out of that. Sophomore year, in April, Lucas was driving Madison and Oli home from school after Oli's performance in the spring play. One second the triplets were singing along to Hamilton. The next, their car was upside down in a ditch.
The incident was the first major tragedy in quite some time. While Oli and Madison made it out fine, Lucas was killed. Oli and Madison spent the rest of the year on independent study, and let only their closest friends see them over the summer. It was a hard time. But with the new year rolling around, Oli is determined to make the most of it. While his sister will continue studying at home, he's taking his junior year by storm. He knows damn well that's what Lucas would've wanted, and he's not about to live his life in a dark room, crying.

║ Reputation ║Oli has a reputation as being a hilarious creative genius. A bit of a partier, people know him as someone who can have a good time, and who can help others do the same. And everyone knows his strengths on stage, in front of and behind the camera.
║ Best subjects, Worst subjects ║While Oli isn't a genius, he does pretty well in a few classes. English has always been his strong suit, as has History. He finds that the stories of people long dead come easily to him. Conversely, he is trash when it comes to any Math or Science, and he's had to retake Chemistry once before.
