Tales of the Land

They were outnumbered, but it felt like we were outnumbered. As my axe brought down another human knight, I lifted my eyes and beheld her for the first time. Magic swirled about her and coursed into every soldier under her command. Mighty spells bore down on us with godly force, driving us to our knees. She was, at once, beautiful and terrifying. The thousands of us were no match for her.

But as I watched, The Nameless One raised his staff, and all the magic she had cast vanished like a puff of smoke into the night. I will never forget the look on her face as he pushed her off the rock into our midst.

Utter betrayal.

Interesting theory. ^_^

There are a few individuals still alive who could confirm or deny your theory. Sadron is certainly more than just a quest-giver, that much I will say.

You can't deny the symptoms are there though. Sadron. S-A-D-R-O-N. His name isn't as evil sounding as Goge Vandire, but that's why I said that Sadron only has a mild case of Goge Vandire Syndrome.

The name is actually elvish. as in Tolkien-elvish. So is Erudessa, for that matter. The names were meaningful, but I forgot the meanings. xD

@Cuccoruler
I recall that we previously discussed the appropriateness of a slime character. Additionally, there are a few substantial plot problems with Vert's solution.
* If she knew the spell for changing her form, she could have used it herself. Spoken spells require no innate magical abilities.
* If such a spell came into the wrong hands, it could be utterly devastating. A recently floated theory here in the OOC suggests that you are in the presence of one such individual (Sadron).
* Transformation magic is so powerful that it would be a closely guarded secret.

Sadron's name is either self-explanatory or ironic, depending on how things play out.
Erudessa's character strives toward higher principles, a true Woman of God.
Arandur makes Sadron's plans come to life. He's effectively the steward.

Almost forgot their last names.

Sadron Aphaderuiondur = Faithful Follower of the Son of God
Erudessa Durvain = Woman of God (Though my search was thorough, I couldn't find the meaning of Durvain.)
Arandur Nostarion = Steward of Noble Birth

Yes, Durvain is not an elvish name - it is a custom name created for this chatacter.

So guess which of the three high elves is my favorite/main. ;)

I'm partial to Erudessa.

Also, I pronounce Sadron like Say-dron.

My favorite is also the Woman of God. Even in death, she can still be a thorn in Sadron's the Warlock's side. She's The Storyteller's favorite as well.
