Felix Hausten

Location: Boston Heights

Listening. That was one thing Felix was good for. Keeping his ears open and his eyes wide. Dragging every little detail into his mind, and storing it for god knows how long. But something seemed odd today. he didn't know what, but it seemed like, he was being dragged along in this narrative. He remembered the man. The man who had attacked him. The warning.

Should he stay out? His original plan was to just observe and let the events of things take their action but this didnt feel right. He was itching to be involved. Itching to take a slice of the cake for himself. Then he heard the key phrase and his hand dug into his jacket pocket and he retrived the die from his pocket.

He held up the multi-sided object and narrowed his eyes "You mean this?"

@Dragoknighte @Morose @Pundii - Relic nods as he heads over towards the Deadlight, taking a long route to keep from being followed as usual. Once they get to Club AfterDark he gets out of the car and locks it up once Mali is out. "This place, is well... Just be careful," he tells Mali before walking over to the door. Freddy is standing there and eyes the two of them. "Seen some odd couples in my day," he laughs a bit noting the difference in size between Mali and Relic. "Girl you must tell me what your work out is for those arms! Sweet cut!" he says before opening the door and letting them in. Relic cocks a brow but darts into the club and looks around before going up to the bartender. "I'm looking for Miss Crawford," he says as he sits down on a stool. Over at the bus stop Ronnie nods a bit before stepping onto the bus. "Well hopefully it being this early it won't be too crowded and we can get in and out rather quickly," he says before taking a seat. "Just glad to be out of your sisters place. Don't get me wrong, like your sister and all but a Cop and FBI? Not my scene," he laughs. Resting his head back against the glass of the window he looks around a bit as he waits for the bus to get to Club AfterDark. Once they arrive he hops off. "Just stay close," he says as he walks over to Freddie. Before he can even say anything, Freddie holds out his hand to Ronnie. "Come on kid, fork it over," Freddie says with a grin, Ronnie nods and hands over his side arm before stepping into the Club, making sure to keep Chloe close to him as he looks around. "About time you got here," Trisha says from her booth as she motions for Ronnie to come to her.

@Nallore @Scallop - "Thanks Riley, I don't know if that helps but it is a start. I just really want to find out who did this to Lawson. He saved me back during the war and I feel like I failed him. He wanted to start over after Ada, to try something else. Thought him helping with this case might give him that chance. To think he survived so much during the war only to die in this town at the hands of an arms dealer..." Marc said before rubbing his face and slouching down onto a stool by the bar that separated the kitchen from the rest of the living area in the apartment. (Since I have not heard back from Scallop at this point we will allow the dice even though it wasn't on the CS.) Riley will see the dice but it won't look like what she saw on the flyer. The dice, we will go with a standard six sided, doesn't have enough corners or faces to it, the object that Riley saw had many more sides. If she thinks on it a bit she will also remember that it looked like it was hollow and not solid.

@Morose @Sigil - The motorcade leaves through the front gate of the air strip while Caesar and Cecily are doing their thing. The coast seems clear for now and the opening is large enough to get in. The water is about two feet deep at its deepest and there is no getting around having to walk trough it while going through the pipe itself. It smells of jet fuel that is for sure and if you breath too deeply it will make you light headed and your vision blur some. On the other side there is a row of bushes around the shore that will make it more difficult to climb out of but at least it seems to be keeping the two of you under some form of cover for now. Things are quiet, too quiet. Keystone better hurry with getting ready for the arrival of Leann, he has t minus ten minutes.

@Pundii - "Well then we better make sure we look our best," she said coyly as she stood up and started loading up the ID into her bag. Looking around the Safe House she started to piece together what else she would need to apply the images once printed to the documents. It took a bit but she found what she would need and such. Looking over towards Lucas she smiled slightly. "Now to find a one hour photo place or a shipping store. Either one should be able to take our picture," she said before hearing a click at the door and drawing her pistol, pointing it at the door as it opened. "Jesus Christ Risa, put that shit down," Roy said as he stepped in and closed the door behind him. Looking around she rubbed his chin. "What the fuck, did you two ransack the place?"

Mali sized up the giant bouncer in front of her. He looked a lot more clean cut than she'd expect the gate keeper of a seedy bar to be. In the back of her mind she asked if she could take him, but the answer was clearly a Probably Not. Maybe if she had some sort of weapon like a stool or chair leg she could come out on top, but in a fair fight, he had the obvious advantage. Not that she was planning on getting into a fight with him, but you had to make these sorts of judgement calls in places like this.

"Are you sure you need it?" She asked, some of Freddy's enthusiasm infecting her own mannerisms. "You're plenty big as it is. I like the suit, by the way." Mali strolled behind Relic, taking in the bar as she walked. Yep, it was about what she expected. Well, maybe the cage on the stage was a bit unexpected, but otherwise everything matched up with her expectations of what she would find. Honestly, the most out of place piece in this whole bar was the security personnel. While Relic talked to the bartender, Mali kept her eyes peeled on the rest of the bar, never really focusing on one individual until two people stepped in, one of which she instantly recognized as that guy from the bus. Another girl was with him, one a few years older than herself. She was probably a friend or associate of his. Mali made sure to keep mental tabs on his doings since he might still be carrying around a gun. Would be bad if he snapped and started waving it around.

Location: Classic Building 3C - Top Floor

Riley looked over towards Felix as he fished something in his pocket and pulled out a die looking at it for a moment she shook her head towards him, she closed her eyes for a moment as she tried to picture it in her mind once more going back towards the flyer she remembered it had more faces to it and it looked like it was hollow to her at least. "That wouldn't be it, the thing had more faces, or sides to it. And the thing appeared to be hollow, dunno what it is probably just some paperweight for all I know." Riley moved over towards Marc and sat down next to him on the other stool and gently rested a hand on his shoulder to try and comfort her friend.

"It wasn't your fault, Lawson agreed to do it and probably knew what he was getting himself into. There is something going on in this city I feel like aside from the ya know usual shootings in the streets and constant robberies." Riley looked down at herself for a moment, and remembered the accident for a moment. "Hell I could have been dead in that accident, and we wouldn't be talking right now if I my car didn't get knocked off to the side." She sighed for a moment and looked at Marc again. "I'm willing to help ya out if you'd like beats being cooped up in my apartment and on med leave for the next couple of weeks to. If your looking into Danica's case my roommate is the coroner maybe she could give you some info."

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Just outside of Queensguard Private Airfield

"Stay close." cautioned Caesar, looking with an eye for detail into the gaping maw that was the drainage system. something didn't seem quite right about all of this. Logic intruded upon the murderous calm that was Caesar's thought process at the current, throwing a series of Maybes and the like at him. If this was the spot that Alicia met her end, then why hadn't these people fixed the grate yet? It had been vastly more than long enough for it to have been handled. Assuming that some manner of red tape prevented the immediate repair, then physical guards should have been stationed around an obvious intrusion point into an otherwise secure location. This could be a trap, plain and simple.

The alternative was that they (whomever "They" were) didn't realize yet that this is were their unwanted guest penetrated the defenses. If that person was Alicia, then she obviously wasn't murdered here. The killer(s), if involved with Queensguard, would have seen to the repair.

Then another, somewhat more horrifying possibility hit Caesar: What if it was a double-cross? If Alicia and Lorna had a partner in this, uninvolved directly with Queensguard, betrayal would explain why the grate wasn't fixed if indeed his daughter was killed here. In which case, looking for evidence further in may just be an unnecessary risk. Unless, of course they got their final experience with backstabbing while exiting the premises.

Whatever the reason, Caesar wanted to give this place a thorough once-over before continuing in, pipe and water both. He began making his way further into the watery passage, eyes open and searching. The concept of walking through at least knee deep water was not very appealing, and not only from a level of personal comfort. Leaving a wet trail behind them would seriously hinder efforts to remain hidden, were they to continue inside in broad daylight. Caesar made the decision to keep behind those bushes for a little bit, getting an accurate lay of the land.

J. Keystone

Location: Queensguard R&D Industrial Complex: Security Hub

Half of his time down, half to go. The expectation was twenty minutes, and for the most part, his people were doing their jobs admirably. Perhaps it was a stroke of luck, working the hell out of the layabouts and dismissing them afterwards. If they wanted to cause trouble, they would be exhausted. Most likely they weren't around. This was a good thing.

The concept of putting a building, or even series of buildings, on lockdown was actually more technology-oriented then anything else; it was much like securing battlestations on a ship. Most everything could be handled from the Hub. Broadcast goes out to active security personnel to man their stations and be on alert, not to allow unnecessary persons in or near anywhere without proper authorization backed up by logs and technological measures. Entrances and exits required a physical presence, confirmed by the camera systems in the Hub, were well-rested men and women kept sharp eyes on the screens and structural electronic systems.

Keystone himself took two minutes to acquaint himself with the company's equipment room, grabbing one of two items to make himself useful working the ground. It was where he was better, anyway. After stripping down to his t-shirt, he grabbed the same kind of gear that walking security personnel used; ballistic vest and black blazer, earpiece tuned to company frequencies. It wasn't his preferred gear; that was kept back at his apartment. But it did give a sense of uniformity that one might expect from a professional, private security force. He clipped his plastic-covered company I.D. to the front of his borrowed jacket, and returned to the Hub to await the arrival of this V.I.P. that, if the Boss was correct, wasn't due back for another week or two. He intended to meet this person with a team of three, including himself, as soon as the vehicle stopped in front of the complex.

Chloe "Tuesday" Ridgeway

Location: Club AfterDark

"No problem, man, I get it," Tuesday agreed, stepping off the bus with Ronnie, and heading towards the club. She chuckled slightly as Ronnie handed his gun over to the bouncer. With the familiarity he had with the bouncer, Tuesday couldn't help but imagine Ronnie was a bit of a regular. And it made sense, as a woman waved Ronnie over towards a booth. Must be his boss, Tuesday decided.

Despite Ronnie telling her to stay close, Tuesday wanted nothing more than to march over to the bar, and order a zombie. After seeing Riley and Marc, she needed a strong drink. Truthfully, she didn't really need to mix more chemicals through her system. Her best move would have been to stop pumping drugs inside of herself, and instead, learn to love vegetables a little bit more. But instead, Tuesday took a seat at the bar, craving something strong and sweet.

She glanced over at Ronnie's boss, before her attention was claimed by a rather...odd couple. A nerdy boy and a girl with more muscles than should have been humanly possible. Tuesday couldn't help but muse that the kid and the She-Hulk had gotten into some serious shit, as she watched them make a beeline for the bar.

Maybe once Ronnie finished up with his boss, she'd go and get herself a drink.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Near Queensguard Private Airfield

Roy didn't send her a text back. At first, the realization that her phone was buzzing at her incessantly, proclaiming the message's arrival, made her uneasy. Roy tended to be rather fast on the replies, but she tried not to worry about it too much. She had seen the motorcade exit the airfield--from what she could tell, just about every possible security guard seemed to have been part of it. She doubted there would be anyone left to go murder Roy.

Caesar moved along the bushes, and Cecily shadowed him for the most part. Her eyes kept sweeping over the various bits of the bushes, and she could smell the jet fuel. It reminded her of her college labs, when one of the non-chemistry majors would leave the gas on. Or perhaps it was like when her friend, Xavier, had accidentally let the fumes from his reaction waft into his nose, and he started bleeding.

Either way, she was careful not to breathe in too deeply.

Cecily noticed that the coast appeared to be clear. The gaping hole, accompanied with about two feet deep water, would allow them access to the compound. But as Caesar appeared to cling to the bushes and dry land, she figured he had to be doing it for good reason. Reminding herself of Locard's Exchange principle, Cecily deduced the answer: it was to prevent leaving tracks.

"Are we going in?" Cecily inquired. It was impossible for them to leave no evidence behind that they had entered the airfield. However, that didn't mean they couldn't minimize those traces as much as possible.

He listened to Marc with a slight tilting of his head, listening closely. Died to the hands of an arms dealer? he didn't know, but Felix has a suspicion that it wasn't just an arms dealer that killed Lawson. If he was a soldier, such a trained professional, he probably couldn't be so easily killed by a two bit criminal. "how peculiar...I didn't realise he was killed by an arms dealer, I thought it would be someone more...professional"

He pocketed the die, a bit embarassed from bringing out the object but if it wasn't what they needed he guessed he better just keep trying to figure out how to convince Marc he could be of some help. Wait...Car crash?

He looked to Riley and scratched his head slightly. "So you're saying is...you were also targetted? Recently, barely a few days ago, I was attacked after dinner by a man who told me to keep my nose out of all this...so just talking to you both is a danger to me from the sounds of things"

@Dragoknighte @Morose - Freddy seemed rather happy about the compliment to his suit and held the door open for Mali, grinning with a cheeseburger eating smile from ear to ear; popping his chest pecks a few times underneath the tight silk shirt beneath the blue suede suit jacket. The door closing behind Mali slowly as Relic pulled up a stool and sat down at the bar. He was waiting for the bar tender to get to him and answer his question about Zoie. He never knew exactly where the woman was but she stopped in enough that he knew if he waited long enough she would eventually come back in; thing was did they actually have time to wait right then. Looking over at Mali he waved her over and patted a stool next to her. He wasn't usually okay with being out in the open this much, usually opting for a dark corner booth to hide in but Mali was there. He was pretty sure she could hold her own and well her size and cut made people think twice, at least he hoped they would. Ronnie stepped over to Trisha and gave her a cocking grin before sitting down and pulling Chloe along with him. "You brought a guest?" Trisha asked incredulously as she sized up Chloe. "Don't worry, old friend of mine. Trisha, may I introduce Chloe. Chloe this is the owner and proprietor of Club Afterdark. Ms Trisha," he said introducing the two. "Riiight, charmed I am sure, but whatever. Ronnie, I have product that needs to be moved and it is a bit more than usual so it might actually be a good thing you brought an extra set of hands."

@Nallore @Scallop - Marc chuckled a bit and nodded towards Felix. "From what I am seeing of this city, just moving here puts a target on your back but hey, we have all survived so far so maybe being around us is actually good luck. You may live longer," Marc chimed in before turning his attention back over to Riley. "Sounds good, any help I can get will be great. I normally don't want to work with any of the local law enforcement, they could easily be compromised or on someone's pay roll but if you are sure she can be trusted, I would welcome any information you have. I need to find the people that were supplying the arm's dealer. We hit the warehouse after Lawson died but it was already cleared out. How we have yet to determine because the place was crawling with news people even during the shoot out, anything being moved should have been caught on camera," he said before sighing and rubbing his face. "Please just don't go running off and nearly getting yourself killed like last time," he said as he shook his head.

@Morose @Sigil - Things seem clear for now. The motorcade has left the area and Keystone still have a few more minutes before they are within gate range of the R&D Complex. The gate for the Airstrip is locked back up and now that McCormick is no longer on the grounds people seem to be getting back to their normal work. There are some foot guards making their way around the fence line but they are still a ways away from where Caesar and Cecily are. The plane is taxiing now over into another hanger and looks to be setting up to refuel and have minor maintenance checks done. For now you two are in the clear, let's hope your luck continues to hold out.

Lucas Walsh

Location: Safe House

Chuckling softly at Risa's comment, Lucas shrugged. "Oh don't worry, shoddy safe-house or otherwise, you know I scrub up good..." He smirked, watching as she began to move off to find what she needed to piece together their fake ID's. Forgery, and generally the more technical aspects of their job had never particularly been Lucas' speciality, he'd always been better at the hands-on, the sneaking around, the weaponry, the fighting, the driving, all of that was where his skills best lay. It made them a formidable team, since she was generally better at the other parts, and in his eyes, essentially every bit of their job. "There should be one nearby somewhere, they're not too hard to find..."

Lucas stopped suddenly as he heard the click of the door, grabbing his gun as well and bringing it up to aim at Gregory until he noticed who it was. Putting the safety back on, he sighed as he holstered it again, glancing about as Greg spoke up again, looking back to him with a shrug. "Needed some cash." He said rather plainly, watching the detective closely as he forced a smirk, settling the weapon at the small of his back as he adjusted his clothes to cover it once more.

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

Scott had just finished serving a few more customers as his eyes turned to settle on Relic and Mali as they came in. Moving over toward them and more-or-less expecting a drink order, he raised an eyebrow at the question. It certainly wasn't uncommon for someone to come in asking about a person, but it was usual the people who were there all the time. Still, Scott had seen Relic around before, enough to figure he wasn't the type to do harm with information like that. "Y'just missed her, friend, she was here a while ago but made her way out, said she might be back later, though."

Riley looked over towards Felix and shrugged slightly. "It could be a possibility, wouldn't put it past anyone who would want to kill me, killing a celebrity would be big news." Riley said softly as she ran a hand through her hair. "But the timing is pretty weird for the accident to happen, it was hours after I found my info from Ronnie and then the shootout at the roller derby rink as well. Anyway its probably not important." Riley then turned her attention towards Marc and rolled her eyes slightly. "Not gonna give that one up are ya? I did say sorry ya know." Riley went over and grabbed her jacket wincing slightly as she put it on and looked towards Marc.

"I don't have anything better else to do, want to head over there now?" Riley finally asked as she grabbed her other things and looked towards Marc. "Also if you want Marc your more than welcome stay here if you want." Riley offered.

Mali walked through the bar, barely noticing the stares she and Relic were getting. She merely kicked that particular detail into a corner of her mind to rot. It was something she had gotten used to awhile ago. Still, it was probably putting the kid on edge, what with wanting to lay low and not get beaten up. But being inconspicuous was just something that they weren't going to be while traveling together.

Still, one of the gawkers stood out. The girl with the Bus Guy was giving her an eyeful. On a closer inspection she was pretty cute. Yeah, she was probably staring for the reason anyone else would, but the paranoid part of her brain brought up the fact that she and the Bus Guy might be part of the conspiracy. They certainly weren't above conscripting thugs into the service, and it was odd to run into a total stranger multiple times within such a short period of time. It would be entirely possible that he was hired to follow them around and keep track. At the same time, that was a dangerous hole to follow. She'd seen no astrological tattoos on them and the Bus Guy was minding his own business, so she wouldn't get too worked up over this.

Mali sat down next to Relic and sized up the bartender, another giant black man. Less giant and more black than the bouncer at the door, but still a brick wall of muscle. Whoever owned this bar knew how to pick up physically intimidating staff members. Well whoever this woman was, she wasn't here. But while they were here, it'd be a waste to just sit around.

"Water please. No ice." Might as well get something to drink while she was here. The temptation to get something alcoholic since she was on forced downtime was there, but ultimately denied. Driving around and standing in the dusty Public Recods Building reminded her that she was behind on her water requirements for the day and would need some rehydrating.

"So," she said, turning to address her compatriot. "do you want to stick around and wait for her, or do you have something else in mind?"

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Queensguard Private Airfield

It was almost like old times. Sure, Caesar very much wished that it was nighttime, or that they had walked into this with some type of uniform (be it security, maintenance, or other) for cover. But, you take what you can get, and what they had was broad daylight, open spaces, and guards walking patrol, not to mention a tagalong possessing zero experience with intrusion or stealth. Well, when the going gets tough, the tough find soft cover. Sizing up his options, the elder man looked back to Cecily.

"You got enough samples, Niña? We've got to make it to a building, maybe find some coveralls or something and blend. There's an opening for the next few seconds. If you're good, we're moving. Low and fast, as long as we have cover."

Caesar took yet another look around for anything resembling surveillance devices or intrusion countermeasures, both active and passive. The moment he was confident that they were safe to go, he motioned to his junior B&E colleague to follow. This wasn't his first rodeo, and he wasn't running about all willy-nilly. Come to think of it, if anyone had ever accused Caesar of doing anything "All Willy-Nilly", they ran the very serious risk of being marionetted with their own intestines and made to perform the Latino version of the Gettysburg Address.

Gruesome public speaking assignments aside, Caesar checked for signage, indicating anything that matched up with the itinerary provided to him earlier. Safety and avoiding detection was the primary motivation with his choice of movement, but he and Cecily had to get somewhere useful. Otherwise, why even come out here? So, find the next blind point in the security rotation, and...

"C'mon, we go now."

J. Keystone

Location: Queensguard R&D Industrial Complex: Security Hub

The large man's eyes scanned the S.O.P. checklist for securing this particular site in preparation for a V.I.P. It was, as the first "S" in the initial acronym, fairy Standard. Written up by the first Directors of this location, a Miss Gonzalez and a Miss Dunn. The checklist gave good illustrations of the facility, including checkpoints, possible entry points, concerns, threat areas, kill zones, sniping points, and the occasional "nuclear option". Everything seemed to be in order.

As Keystone began his walk to the receiving area of the facility, he opened up a channel on his comm. In a deep but quiet voice, he addressed the standing personnel, "Listen up, then. We 'ave a "Capital V.", I.P. comin' in the next few. Addin' to proper service, I want a last minute sweep. Raw eyes on it, confirm with cameras after. Also, one man outta every group, um... whoever's last name's first alphabetical, scan eyes upward - spy and sniper spots, on and off site. This's gonna be a smooth receive, else heads roll. Good job as yet. Keep it up."

This wasn't exactly his ideal job at the moment, Acting Director, but handling something like this was entirely within his skill set. Now if the job could only incorporate him pummeling two to four men senseless with his bare fists, then it would be very much like an active and entertaining Saturday evening back home. Keystone shook his head, and met up with the other two agents on receiving detail. They silently nodded to one another, and moved to wait at the interior of the doors leading out. Selecting a narrower bandwidth, he contacted the Hub. "How we lookin', eh?"

Chloe "Tuesday" Ridgeway

Location: Club AfterDark

As Trisha sized her up, Tuesday frowned. Before she had gone down the horrible path that brought her where she was today, she never would have outwardly portrayed her displeasure. It felt disgusting, though, like she was a piece of meat. Some of the girls--and guards--in prison had done the same. And sure, her first kingpin had as well...But she never quite grew comfortable with it. For a brief moment, Chloe wondered if she called up Marc, and asked for his help to get her life back together, if it'd be possible.

Could she still be a surgeon? She had always brushed it off, convinced she had thrown away her future with that first arrest. There was no point in trying after that, no point in things getting better. Her life had ended--so why not just fuck it, and get the bad times over with? Why not throw herself into more and more shit, until something does her the mercy to end her life? And in that same moment, Tuesday practically wished she had been among the dead of Grimm High.

"Extremely," Tuesday said bluntly, in reply to Trisha's comment. But as the prospect of her helping out with the drop? Sure, Ronnie was her friend, but she wasn't stupid. Big drops meant big risks. The pay could be fantastic, but the prison sentence, if caught, usually increased exponentially. She was already doing a bunch of stupid shit, with her smuggling drugs into prisons.

"Better be decent pay then, if I'm freelancing for you," Tuesday interjected. A mere sampling fee wasn't enough for this occasion. She needed something to make it worth her time.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Near Queensguard Private Airfield

Cecily nodded. They had as many useful samples as they could hope to get, considering the current circumstances. But she doubted there would be any left, if they came back at another time. Queensguard, whatever they were up to, meant business. And she was almost certain Proserpine, the woman who shot at her, was on their payroll. The more she learned about this, the more horrid it became. In the back of her mind, she made a quiet decision. She'd send in her resignation, for real this time. Enough was enough.

"I'm good," Cecily replied, taking a bit of a deep breath as Caesar motioned for them to go. She knew that it was complicated, that they'd have to wait until the guards were in proper alignment, and that their window of time narrowed more and more with each second. But she also felt herself nearing death, walking closer to her final resting place. Was there life after death? She wasn't sure, but she hoped desperately that there was. Justice couldn't be where it ended.

Her heart dropped slightly as Caesar said those words. But at the same time, her resolve strengthened. In a few short minutes, Cecily felt that they would know what had truly happened to Alicia Gonzalez--perhaps the same thing that had happened to everyone else in this town who knew more than they were supposed to. Danica Graves had something to do with this as well--Proserpine's hands were drenched with blood, likely Danica's as well.

@Dragoknighte @Morose @Pundii - "Well damn, figures," Relic says before looking over towards Mali. "We should stay put for a little bit. Zoie has a tendency to come flittering back in regularly. Hopefully she won't be long, if she is, we will head out. I don't want to stay in one place too long," he said before looking over towards Scott. "Soda would be great. Is the kitchen open yet?" he asked before glancing around and taking note of Ronnie and Chloe speaking to Trisha. "Hey, wait a minute," he said before pulling out his lap top and setting it on the bar. Ronnie chuckled a bit. "Oh she's good, and I trust her," Ronnie said. Trisha nodded some what and looked back over towards Chloe. "Yes it pays well," she answered before looking back over towards Ronnie. "Well trust is a rare thing these days. Just know, she fucks me over, I fuck you over," Trisha warned before slipping Ronnie a thin envelope and rising from her place. Turning she didn't say anything else, just turned and walked back to her office and closed the door behind her. Once she was out of sight Ronnie let out a nervous breath. "Well that went better than I hoped," he said before looking down at the envelop and opening it up. "Standard drop information," he said before ripping it up and lighting it on the candle on the table and tossing it into a metal trash bin by the side of the booth. "We have four hours."

@Nallore @Scallop - Marc just chuckled. "I would give up screwing with you about that about the same time as I would stop poking fun at someone that kissed a corpse," he laughed before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her in for a hug. "Hey, look at it this way, it just means I care Riley. I don't want anything happening to you or Chloe. Us three have been through a lot together." Letting her go he looked over towards Felix and cocked a brow before sitting back down. "I need to go search Lawson's place, you want to tag along with me and Castle here?" he asked as he pulled out his keys and shook them a bit. "Come on, we can do this and then go to see your roomie. Rather you have an escort for now if you don't mind."

@Morose @Sigil - Well shit couldn't go smoothly the entire time now could it? Well, it isn't anymore. Shit is hitting the fan. About half way from the line of bushes at the water and towards the secondary hanger at the back Cecily is spotted and a shot is fired without warning. It hits the ground right behind her as you two are moving. The missed shot causes the alarms to go off and it is now sounding like a war zone - Smoke them if you got them peeps. You have three coming up from behind you at 4'O'Clock, another 2 at your left about 100 yards out. The building is another fifty yards in front of you.

@Pundii - Roy grumbled under his breath before looking and spotting the ID cards. "Do I even want to know what you two are up to? You know what, never mind. Listen, more is going on here. I think the people that are causing a lot of trouble in the city are some how tied to Argus. I don't know how or why. Maybe Argus is trying to take these people down, maybe Argus is turning. Whatever the case, we have got to be careful." Sighing Roy rubbed his face and sat down, pulling out surveillance images and handing them over to Lucas and Risa. "The doctor that saved Risa, she is part of this Juno thing. I don't know if she knows anything about Argus but it was pretty odd that the dean of Medicine for the hospital was at the UN for rescue. Granted it was good that she was, doubt Risa would have made it otherwise but it just doesn't make sense," he said. Risa looked over the images, seeing Dr. Chang there at a Roller Derby, seeing her at the UN site, at the hospital.

It'd be rather odd for the bar to be open, but the kitchen closed, Mali thought to herself, leaning against the bar on her right elbow. There wasn't much to do now but wait, watch and listen. Sure, Relic was right next to her looking up something on his laptop (she was more surprised that he could bust it out in this establishment so nonchalantly, than the fact that he might have stumbled onto some important tidbit of information), but looking over his shoulder wouldn't speed things up. She'd just let him do his thing while drinks were en route.

The paranoid switch in her head went off again, this time for far more practical reasons. Mali turned around and scanned the room to make sure that none of the patrons were making eyes at Relic, or more specifically, his fancy laptop that could no doubt be sold for hundreds of dollars. Yeah, there might be 2 huge black men staffing the bar and blocking the entrance/exit, but if somebody tried to snatch it, it could be damaged and or broken in the ensuing scuffle, even if it wasn't completely stolen.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Classic Building 3C - Top Floor

"You have some weird kinks there Marc kissing a dead body really, not what that one chick did in that one zombie tv show." Riley said jokingly as she returned the hug tightly, back in Grimm they rarely ever spoke even after high school they were occasionally messaging over on Facebook. Then the reunion came and they certainly butted heads with each other over what had happened, she let go of Marc and smiled. "We certainly did even though we did bite each other's heads off back at the reunion but we did get Chris behind bars." Riley said as she looked towards Marc's car keys and smiled then she looked towards Felix for a moment.

"It sure as hell beats being cooped up in here with no car and no work, I got nothin better else to do honestly, that and hope you don't mind if I tag along and you don't try and rip my face off like last time." Riley said with a light laugh, she really felt like she was going stir crazy and checking her feeds all day and responding to thousands of fans was driving her crazy with all the crazy stories of her with what had happened to her.

Felix Hausten

Location: Boston Heights

He was gazing off into the distance of the apartment. His mind racing. He didn't want to be tied to a group but he supposed it would be essential for survival. This agent man seemed interesting to say the least, defintely protagonist material, plus rock star girl wasn't really his forte when it came to characterisation. If the previous beat down had taught him anything, it was he wasn't gonna last long investigating by himself. He had information that would help hem...bu he couldn't tell them yet. he could tell them when it was more essential, then maybe it'd create more tension. But...it appeared something was happening.

He tilted his head and put on a humorous smile, closing his eyes and nodding, a small chuckle escaping him. "I've never been called Castle before but I enjoy it. If we are going to such a place...to investigate a dead man. If it has been one big conspiracy that has kille him I suggest we bring some form of defense"

he nodded at them both and chuckled again. "How do i say it...it doesn't appear that this is the first rodeo for any of us?"

Lucas Walsh

Location: Safe House

Lucas offered little more than a shrug at Roy's first question, chances are he didn't want to know more, and it seems that was the case as he moved on to his next point. He crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow as he glanced between Risa and Roy. "Well, assuming Argus might be turning, you think what, they might've helped blow up the UN?" He questioned, the idea was something he would have considered absurd, but thinking it through, it wasn't so far fetched. For an organization who specialized in the kind of work as destablizing regimes and causing chaos, bombing the UN wasn't remotely out of the realm of possibility, especially if they were working with this group.

"And at least we know for sure now that bombing wasn't for me or Risa, doubt she'd have helped us otherwise, if she's involved." Lucas theorized with a shrug as he moved closer to look over the images as well, picking up the ones of the roller derby in particular as he sighed, shrugging as he looked over to the others. "Any idea where she'd be now? Just at the hospital?"

Scott Fairburne

Location:AfterDark

"Glass of water it is, my friend." Scott said as he grabbed a class, bringing it to the sink to fill it up, not bothering with the ice as requested as he set it back down on the counter before Mali, turning to Relic as he spoke up again. Giving him a nod. "Opened a little while ago, what's the order?" He asked, moving to fill up another glass with some cola and ice as he set it back down, moving to get the order ready in case he did fancy eating something.

While he waited, he let his eyes drift further up the bar, back toward Trisha, she seemed to be having an interesting discussion, as was essentially any discussion she seemed to have in that bar. He noticed as she slipped the man she was with an envelope, at that point turning his gaze away, whatever kind of business she, or the people she was speaking with were involved in, it was the kind he didn't like.

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Queensguard Private Airfield

Crap. This was like old times. The feeling of adrenaline that usually accompanied bullets narrowly missing him and his coursed though Caesar. Before he even realized, his gun was in his hand opposite of his blade. Instinct was strong with him. Fortunately, so were his wits. Going back was no an option; before they could get there it would be cut off. Well, unless he killed the three behind them. Then his back would be to the other pair of armed men that were likely calling for backup as they ran. Bad odds for anyone, even Caesar. Suicidal odds for Cecily.

Part of his mandate was to keep her alive at all costs. Even if he died, if the very junior Coroner got out with the evidence she needed, justice could be had, maybe. Not the revenge that he wanted, but something like it. The girl had to live. Caesar moved to interpose himself between Cecily and the guards behind them, shouting, "Go! Make for the hangar!" He squeezed off a couple of rounds at the men behind them before joining the dash for cover. He wasn't trying for kill shots, persay. Men like this had to be wearing vests. A .45 slug would put a man on his ass if he could get a torso shot off from this distance.

No warning? Not even a "Freeze, asshole!". Opening fire on intruders not obviously armed with the intent of killing them? Not exactly legal, most instances. No, something was up, here. No time to find out now, though.

But speaking of distance, Caesar surmised that the men 100 yards out would have one absolute hell of a time hitting the broad side of a barn at that distance, while running. Good money had them at the hangar. There had to be an office or supply room or something inside they could hole up in, else the means to get out. Hell, maybe they could find a helicopter. Very elegant means of escape, if needed. But now, priority was cover. And keeping the girl alive.

Chloe "Tuesday" Ridgeway

Location: Club AfterDark

"Right...Standard gangster talk, got it," Tuesday muttered, leaning her head against her hand. The skin around her eyes was pushed around from the placement, causing her to have the most weird and somehow adorable resting face ever. It all seemed a bit like a cliché to her, but Ronnie's line of work--no, her line of work--could be like that. "Four hours, fantastic. And it better pay damn well, that lady's the dictionary definition of irritating."

She glanced over at the bar again, spotting someone taking out a laptop. A laptop? At a bar? She rolled her eyes again. Everything felt irritating. She was on edge. Maybe she'd get something to settle her nerves, to calm her down a bit. She hadn't had any decent hits yet that day, and they did have four hours to accomplish this mission. She scratched at her wrist, once again contemplating if she could start everything over. Would any medical schools accept her? Would anyone accept her?

No. She made her bed. It was time to toughen up and deal with it. "So, fill me in, yeah?"

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Queensguard Private Airfield

Back in college, Cecily adored being right. Whenever an exam was given back to her, or whenever she confirmed her lab result, the pride from being correct sent a chill down her spine. It was a feeling that she craved, and through her investigation work as a forensic technician, each time her theory was proved, the same exhilarating rush coursed through her.

But now, halfway from the bushes and the safety of the water, the first shot struck the ground. She heard it before she even recognized what was going on, blinking as Caesar screamed at her to move, to run towards the hangar. It wasn't too far away, but fear coursed through her systems, making her lungs feel like they were filled with cement. As much as a scream fought to rip its way out of her throat, it was all Cecily could do to keep on running. Her eyes flickered around madly almost, and she expected the phantom of Proserpine to rise from the ground, and gun her down.

Gun. Gun. Gun! As she ran towards the hangar, perhaps the fastest she had ever run in her life, she noticed that Caesar was providing cover for her. But she knew rounds wouldn't last forever, and she had gotten her pistol in order to protect herself. Incredibly thankful that she had started carrying it on her, Cecily scrambled to pull it out as she dashed, before realizing that she didn't have any real skill with it.

She hoped desperately that her flight-or-fight instinct, the adrenaline pumping through her veins, would see her through. She didn't even pause to consider how odd it was, that they fired at intruders, rather than merely surrounding them and arresting them. Cecily followed Caesar's word as gospel, dashing to the hangar, and hoping that none of those bullets would strike her.

Truthfully, Cecily wasn't ready to die--not like this. Not like this.
