'He said yes! He said yes! I did it, I am going to be in a guild! I did it! I did it!' these thoughts are going Carvers mind the moment Jarvis started to talk about getting guild marks. His mind was in an over excitement mode with a lot of joy that he is getting to join an actual guild. He was upset when he missed the Grand magic games but that seems to be completely erased from his mind as he was actually going to be part of a guild. His whole point coming to the games was to watch the games and hope to join a guild now he gets that very chance to join a guild he couldn't ask for more than that.

Carver then said in very much appreciation, "Thank you sir for this opportunity to join the guild. I came a long way to watch the grand magic games in hope to meet someone to get me a chance to join a guild. I missed the games but to still get a chance to join a guild it means a lot to me."

"Lead the way sir, I'd go practically anywhere now to receive the guild mark and make this official.", Carver said with much enthusiasm trying to keep himself under check and not go crazy with joy before receiving that mark. The last thing he wanted to do was to ruin his chances in joining the guild by acting like a fool. So he will try to be on his best behavior to the best of his ability.

As Jasmine watch the kids play, she'd feel someone tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she'd see a rather pale girl waving at her.

"Hey there, Jasmine, what a pleasant surprise, seeing you here." Placing her hands behind her back, the girl leaned in close to show off her wide grin, her blood-red eyes filled with a familiar sense of mischief. "Oh, I forgot you've had yet to see me like this. It's me, Jackson. . . Well, I guess it'd be Jacqueline when I'm like this, wouldn't it? Or perhaps something even more feminine?" Nidhogg leaned back, bringing a finger up to her chin as she pondered on what her name should be as a girl. Playing with the end of her still really long, braided hair, she turned her attention towards the children at play, something unreadable passing through her eyes.

"I haven't seen you since that craziness back with those shadow creatures. How have you been since then? Enjoying your time in Crocus?"

Pyrrha turned around when she felt a tap on her shoulder, a smile appearing on her face when she saw it was Jake. When he requested a moment alone with her, her expression turned curious but she still nodded.
"Sure, I got plenty of time." She said, getting up from her seat. Delsin opened his mouth to make a comment behind her but both Krystal and Siegard quickly slapped him on the back of his head, causing it to hit the table. Laughing in amusement at this antic, she would follow him to wherever he led them to be alone before speaking again. "Is there something you need Jake? Or did you just come to say good-bye for now?"



"While I'm not sure a dress is needed, as this seems to be more of a social gathering thing, if you want one, I will accompany you in getting it." Joshua said, ruffling Amaya's hair affectionately. "So, if you really want a dress, lead the way. I guess I'll have to get a suit then, since it'll look weird if you're dressed formally and your partner isn't."



"This way, this way!" Elyse said before leading Sammy back into the crowd and over to Amelia and Ryu.

"Wha... I... Why would you... why would I?" Amelia said, completely caught off guard by this request. Before Ryu would get a response though, Elyse came running over and grabbed Ryu's arm, tugging on it. Amelia had never been so thankful for an interruption in her life and she quickly moved over to Jarvis' side, her face still incredibly red.

"Unca Wyu, Unca Wyu! Make Sammy flower please!" Elyse said eagerly, literally jumping in place out of excitement.



"Sadly, I can't help you Mr. Argus. I'm not a member of Phoenix Wing, so I'm not intimately familiar with a vast majority of it's members. I can literally count the ones I know on one hand, that's how little I know of them." Lucus said before turning to Raiden. "By the way Raiden, your son just embarrassed the guild master's daughter something fierce. Does he have any tact to him or does he just hit on girls around his age as he comes across them?"

Jake would lead Pyrrha away from the bar a short ways after she stood, just inside an alley way around the corner from it so that the throng of people wouldn't catch them up. With one more calming breath, he turned and looked at her to answer her question. "Actually, I was wondering if you would go with me to tonight's ball." His face would be bright red as he spoke and after.

The act of getting herself settled and her things organized, even into what could only be a temporary establishment in the form of her tent, took Indigo quite some time. Though by no means would the sorceress call herself obsessive-compulsive, she just couldn't be completely at ease until her possessions and appearance were returned to a state as close to faultlessness as possible. Despite this, a keen eye and practiced hands -combined with a eagerness to get everything in place- made short work of what many would consider an arduous task. The afternoon sun found Indigo seated in a folding chair in front of her little tent, deeply absorbed by a new book taken from the ruins of Belka's chapel. Within its gnawed, brown covers lay an enigmatic text stuffed with antiquated speech, which the Librarian's aptitude with words enabled her to translate to a fascinating account of a long-forgotten faith's origin story and practices.

Other than a brief start, Indigo did not react poorly to Ashlyn's inquiry. Instead, she put on her businesslike polite smile, lowered her book, and replied, ”Yes, miss. He departed not long ago in the company of Mistress Beltras of Phoenix Wing; I saw them walk by. I was not informed of his purpose, but I would venture to guess that he's attending some sort of important inter-guild matter. As someone who came to Fiore as an observer of the Games, I am sure you've noticed that there are some tensions between Jamie's guild and our own.” A stray wind toyed with a strand of the sorceress's golden hair, which she hurried to tuck behind her ear so as not to obscure her vision.

It took some time to finally pull herself away from the airship, as she would rather spend all night on it. She was pretty sure she almost got it working again, so maybe she can come back a little later and fiddle with it some more. For now, she pushed the doors open and walked into the building of the hotel. Briefly glancing around, emerald eyes their usual emotionless self before continuing on. Lacking interest it seemed to whoever was around, though the excited chitter of her counterpart could be said otherwise.

"Ooo Oooo!!! We should totally clean up and get ready to dance and sing! Eat lots of cake! Hug everyone! Oh oh and maybe try and make a record of dance partners at a ball!" came the voice of the Earthlander, chittering away a mile a minute. They certainly didn't look party material, as their clothes were covered in oil, dirt, and grime. Blonde hair dishevled, face almost completely black minus around the eyes thanks to the now black covered goggles that we're currently resting on this bodies' forehead.

Edo-Karn didn't quite care though, minorly shrugging her shoulders in response as she resumed her walk. Her control over this body now a bit stronger than the owners, that even his excitement didn't force her out of it. It be quite simple to just take it but even if she did, this body could use some rework. Today had been another unsuccessful day of finding a way home. She didn't have much faith, if any in the Earthlander assistance, this world's Karn was basically a useless buffoon, and she lacked a bit of knowledge of the rules here. Though she did read a good amount of books in order to play some catch up.

By the hour though, it was getting more difficult. Logically, it would have been better to stay dead. Such is the way with her luck she supposed though.

Walking to the counter of the bar, she took a silent breath. "A sandwich please. Something with a lot of protein." Edo-Karn said, waiting as the clerk soon enough handed her a plate with a simple sandwich with some sort of meat with who the fuck knows. Absently, she ate it, slowly much to the Earthlander's disappointment who just wanted to Hoover it.

While beyond the age to find comfort in snuggling with plush toys, it was no plush toy that Avarius clung tightly to his chest. The cold hard body of Rinn sat as snug as a metal disc could to a person as Avey slept. Rinn himself didn't sleep, but had grown accustomed to this painfully boring ritual. While the metal rooster remained tied to the boy, the arrow protectively circled around above them nearby.

Avey would rather sleep nowhere other than the open air of rooftops high above the ground, listening to the sounds of the wind as he drifts off to sleep. There was a strange uncomfortable nostalgia from such a position. It reminded him of a past he had so nearly forgotten. It reminded him he was lost and alone. Yet at the same time he also found a peculiar sense of safety, being secluded so far away from others, out of reach up here in the sky.

However, without fail, in that space between dreams and reality his mind was writhe with a sense of wry horror that dwelled only within the deepest and darkest parts of the psyche, a haunting agony that possessed no name or face. These mixed emotions, the loneliness and longing for his family, were but the dull ache of an injury born nearly a lifetime ago. An injury he picked the scabs of every night as to never let it heal, to never let it go. While uncomfortable it was, it was familiarity, and familiar didn't feel quite so alone. So in that reliable familiar torment that he found every night, in that repetitious pattern of self agony, he found an odd sombre sense of comfort and belonging.

His biggest fear was to forget his parents faces, so every night he would welcome and endure the pain, a troublesome sleep ending peacefully, comforted by the thought that he had held onto them for another another day.

This day just so happened to end and begin in the town of Magnolia. On top of a prestigious building known for hosting the Phoenix Wing Guild.
Avey had come here for reasons since forgotten. With no intention to go inside, even the rooftop had seemed inviting.

"He is a teenager...he needs to learn to speak with girls and make friends...we already are going to get our marks as jamie has welcome us so if anything this is good practice for him. PLus i am sure you weren't mr. smooth when you first met rose."Said raiden with a light laugh.

"This Marlene must be knew if anyone knows where she is Master Jarvis or Jamie might. I use to know nearly everyone and keep a member book for my own records but here lately I been preoccupied with my daughter's father reappearing after all these years, then the reappeareance of a past I wished to forget but somehow it found me"Said Rose sighing as she watched argus. She suddenly looked down towards her side closing her eyes before opening them "Seems our phoenix suddenly vanished."Said Rose sensing the change in magic in the inn along with listening to the shadows around them. She reached into her pocket bringing out her Communication lacerima. She took a deep breath before speaking a message into it "Penny's Magic has dissappeared from the hotel suddenly."She said letting the message be sent to Jamie and or jarvis just to make sure they knew a sudden magic dissappearing from the hotel. She then sent another to everyone who still had their communication lacerima " Does anyone know where Marlene is, There is someone in the phoenix wing Hotel Lobby asking about her'. Rose looked back at Argus "Well if anyone here knows of her, I will let you know" She added before taking a seat folding her arms.




'You truly are an Idiot Joshua, a ball is a fancy party you must look your best because at balls royalty will normally be so to look the part you must be dressed up..God dont you guys know anything about balls? Don't you read books?"asked Cecilia

"I do but not any for being fancy plus I don't think a huge fancy restricting dress is my style"said Amaya
"No I think flowly and curvy is a much better choice for you."said Cecilia

"I wonder if Nolan and Dalton will be going...Dalton and Nolan are a godslayer and Exceed Team as well. It is hiliarious to see Dalton bug Nolan."Said Amaya wondering if someone like nolan would go "Nah Nolan would whether die then go to enclosed space with as many fangirls he has "said amaya

Ryu didn't know what to really do as he suddenly felt a tug as he looked down seeing elyse. He crouched to her eye level as he listened to her request before he looked over at sammy "Hm lets make the same one for you to make it fair and not to let anyone be jealous"He said as he closed his hands replicating the same floweras he made for Elyse before Handing it to

Jarvis gave Amelia a smile as she approached, red faced. It was quite adorable, her being flustered over a boy, but Jarvis wasn't quite sure how he felt about that. Amelia, and boys? Jarvis knew that Amelia could handle her own, but... he couldn't help but feel a little protective. He glanced around for Sam, saying to Amelia "Go get your sister, we have some new members to welcome, unless you want to stay and watch her?" He asked, looking to Sam with Elyse, and Ryu. '

Jarvis smiled at Carver, and said "Well, you never have to look far for one of us, and just about everyone is welcome in the guild. We'll head back to the hotel now"

Sam happily cheered, taking the flower and with childlike glee, she spun about, before giving Ryu a hug, "Thank you" She said brightly, smiling. @Roseletta@Joshua Tamashii@BladeSS4

'More Slayers and more Exceeds? This guild is amazing, I wonder how many Exceeds they have. I wonder if I can make a pact with a group of exceeds? What would I look like as an Exceed?', These thoughts went through Carvers mind as he eaves drop a bit on the conversations around him. They were all nice and interesting people. Carver was glad he had asked to join this guild he couldn't think of a better one to join that would fit him any better than Phoenix Wing.

Carver noticing Amelia's movements of that shy girl. He was rather amused as he pieces two and two together of the situation that is going on. While most of his mind was trying to calm himself before he bursts out with excitement that he was in a guild now. He still needed to go to the hotel and receive the mark but is very excited. Carver says to Jarvis with a lot of excitement in his voice, "Lead the way sir and I'll follow. I can't wait to meet even more guild members!"

For a metallic low depth object, Rinn was extremely flexible and agile. In the late throws of Avey's sleep, as he rolled and splay about contently on the hotel roof, Rinn seized the chance and slipped out of his grip. Knowing the boy would now soon awake, Rinn moved quickly.

Folding himself over he quietly pried up a roof tile and slipped into the dusty roof space. Throughout his dull boring time confined to the roof he had been eagerly listening to and assessing the situation below. Walking along the beams and rafters with purpose and direction the metal rooster strutted to a particular spot. A metal pipe.
Giving it a short sharp peck it began to glow. A sparkling of light overtook the section he had pecked at and slowly it began to vibrate. Suddenly within the pipes metal sheen two round eyes emerged along with a crack that resembled a mouth. The new facial features were dull and of the same color as the pipe, only noticeable by the slight form they had taken in the structure. Wide eyed the piped looked around in amazement, it's gaze falling to the impatient waiting wind vane.

"Yea yea, amazing your alive eh." Rinn says sarcastically less than impressed.
"Now open up!"
The confused pipe began to split its lip line to reply, but as it did a jet of water sprayed from the gap. "Alrighty, business time. Thanks for this by the way. You shower pipes, you get all the perks, now it's Rinn'shu turn!" He announces triumphantly to the pipe and himself as he steps into the jetting stream of water, further stretches open the pipes mouth and folds, twists and rolls himself up until he slips down into the water way.

A short moment later the water leak stops as Rinn's magic wears off and the pipe returns to normal. The water pipes seemed extra noisy for a short period of time, and the water pressure a little inconsistent for the dwellers of the hotel.
Eventually Rinn made it to the bath houses after much bumping, grumbling and excessive use of his magic.

Finding an overlooking advantage point that suited his pervy nature, the metallic rooster perched himself up high as an ornament and did his very best to keep perfectly still as he waited and watched.

"My style of dress is semi-formal anyway. I'm sure I can go as is and no one will blink an eye. Hell, I doubt most of the other wizards have formal wear on them. If they do, then it's ultimately their choice." Joshua said to Cecilia before turning back to Amaya. "Go however you wish too. I think a simple dress suits you just fine myself. You um... you got the looks to look beautiful in anything really, if I'm being honest."

Damnit face, stop turning red! Also, WHY DID I SAY THAT?! He privately screamed to himself as he felt a bit of heat rising in his cheeks.



"No, no I was not, especially to her. Most other girl were easy but Rose was a challenge but I would say my charms won her own eventually." Lucus said as they finally arrived where the rest of Phoenix Wing was. He quickly spotted Jarvis and escorted Argus, Raiden, and Rose over to him. "Hey there Jarvis. This is Raiden Yashia, Rose's father. He wishes to join your guild along with his son over there. The other man is Argus, from Frenzy Plant I would assume. He's looking for one of your guild members, Marlene I believe he said.

Meanwhile, Amelia gave a sigh before approaching Ryu, Sam, and Elyse.
"Sammy, Papa says it's time to come back to him." She said before looking at Ryu and unable to help herself from becoming red in the face again. "As for you... I'm not going to the ball, especially with someone I just met. So... so the answer is no."

As soon as she was sure Sam would return to Jarvis, she quickly followed, hiding behind Jarvis the moment she was able to.

"Why her face red?" Elyse asked Ryu after Amelia left, looking up at him.



This was the last question Pyrrha had been expecting, and it showed in her shocked expression and furiously red cheeks. She had only known Jake for two days and while she had enjoyed the time they had spent together in that short period, she hadn't expected him to ask her out to the ball of all things. It took her a couple of seconds to get over the shock.
"I... I would love to go... But I don't have a dress and I really don't want to go shopping with Krystal because that would take forever and... I just don't have any interest in that." She said.

It was strange how Akai had similar senses to the very beasts she controls. Heightened senses such as sight and smell... and a very acute inclination to emotions. The very things she hated Akai was most perceptible to in that ironic way, and this elevated sensory led her to the conclusion that a certain little teen was already in a weak state of mind.

Originally, Akai had only planned to mosey around the little flowery town and cause more mayhem and mischief, to destroy relationships left and right like usual, when her red hooded self had flowed past a red headed teen. Such... delicious anger. Jealousy, what wicked emotion... this should be fun.

Making sure to put a decent distance between herself and Cody, the hooded figure trailed after him with a hidden, evil grin on her small coral lips. Soon the boy had cornered himself, he had found his way away from society and into a dark little alley. Too bad dark little allies was where Akai, the bringer of hatred, liked to make herself home.

"Poor, poor little boy..." The voice rang out clearly like silk, dark and intoxicatingly sweet and calming.

"Did someone break your heart? A girl...? Or maybe someone took your little love away from you...?" A slight tease had entered the syllables as she gave a little giggle. Up until now, Akai had been hidden in the gloom of the cold alley. Now the figure stepped further into the light, her black and white dress swishing about her thighs. "If only you could pay them back, the ones who hurt you... But alas, there is nothing."

Akai lifted her pale hands to brush the hood from her head, revealing her soft and deceptively innocent face underneath. "Of course, you could use my way..."

Ash's smile became visibly smaller at the news that Sanders was currently preoccupied with what sounded like some pretty important business. While she was somewhat glad that she didn't have to tell him anything yet then, she also didn't want to put it off any longer. Although she was a little surprised that Sanders was meeting with the Phoenix Wingers, the guild master in particular. Like Indigo said, she had come as an observer to the games and as someone who had been raised in a very tense environment she could generally notice such things. They stuck out like a sore thumb to her.
So she was slightly confused by Sanders going with them. Were they trying to smooth things over or something? Surely with how tense it was it wasn't going to be that easy....Ash knows that if she was in their shoes, she just flat out wouldn't forgive them.
"I..see..." Ash mumbled somewhat quietly and thoughtfully. She wasn't too sure how long this how thing would take either...maybe Ash should just speak with one of the Generals? Afterall she was talking with one right now, so it's not like she would have to go searching for one.
Realising she was just standing there, thoughtfully staring at the ground for god knows how long she quickly shook her head. She needed to focus and stay on track. No tangents.
"Indi-I mean General, you...What do you think of second chances at life? Does someone whose fire was once fueled by sins, even if they felt like they had little choice in the matter, do...do they still deserve a chance at redemption?" Uncertainty crept into Ash's voice as she spoke. She still wasn't a hundred percent sure she should talk with Indigo about this. Shouldn't Sanders know about this first? But it was too late now, she had started and didn't plan on quitting half-way through. That just wasn't her ninja way.



Jasmine almost jumped out of her skin when she felt Nidhogg tap her on the shoulder, letting out a loud, girlish squeal and in a comical fashion nearly fell off the bench. She only managed to stay on by throwing her hands out at the last moment to catch herself on the edge of the seat.
Now obviously she was very confused by what Nidhogg said next. Jackson? Wait. As in Jackson DuCarthy, the man she had met a couple of days later during the whole incident when she not only got separated from Cody but also somehow caught up in some big wizard fight....was now a young girl who looked not much older than herself?
Magic was a strange thing. But Jasmine was trying to reason that surely even it couldn't do this...surely not.
"M-Mr DuCarthy?" Jasmine was trying to work out why anyone would bother tricking her. After all she wasn't that overly important, at least of what she knew anyway, so it's not like some girl would go out of her way to say she was someone else right? The mentioning of the Shadow Creatures was also, while not overly specific, was something which most people wouldn't known about as well. Or at least, that her and Nidhogg were involved somewhat anyway.
"H-how? Weren't you...umm....a man?"

Cody hadn't been watching where he was going. One moment he was in the busy, bustling streets of the capital next he found himself in an isolated alleyway. Well. This was never a good sign, so maybe he should leave before triggering-too late.
"Poor, poor little boy..." A voice rang out clearly like silk, dark and intoxicatingly sweet and calming.
Turning around sharply as the voice called out to him, his hand immediately flew to where the sword on his hip was supposed to be strapped...except he had left it in his room. Right..next to his armor. He had planned to stay out of trouble and thought that carrying a sword around mightn't be a good way to do that. Man was he regretting that decision already. At least he had his magic...for what that was worth.
"Did someone break your heart? A girl...? Or maybe someone took your little love away from you...?" Cody twitched slightly at the teasing tone to her voice. Just who was this woman and why the hell did she care? And what did she find so funny?
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Cody's fists were clenched tightly at his side at the woman's accusations. Love? He didn't love Amaya...he barely knew her. They had met only a few days ago after all, nowhere near enough time for a relationship to form surely.
The woman had been mostly hidden in the shadows now but walked out for Cody to see, her black and white dress swishing about her thighs while adding "If only you could pay them back, the ones who hurt you... But alas, there is nothing."
Akai lifted her pale hands to brush the hood from her head, revealing her soft and deceptively innocent face underneath. "Of course, you could use my way..."

Cody didn't seemed convinced by her words that much. In fact, he was very much on guard after what had happened over the previous days. This woman gave Cody a bad feeling. Her words sounded...too sweet. Her words seemed to have a resonating effect however....and it wasn't magical based from what Cody could sense. It was almost as if she was talking directly to his torn up soul right now.
"I-I told you already. You're mistaken." Cody directed his gaze elsewhere, a blush forming on his cheeks as he continued to adamantly refuse her claims. Though it was obvious he was lying.
He also didn't want to make eye contact with this woman for some reason. She made him feel uneasy. What was it about her? He couldn't quite place his finger on it.
"Just state what business you have or go away. I'm not in the mood."

Angela was pretty bummed out. The end to the games was so anticlimactic...then again she hadn't watched much of the games in the end either, so she was beyond disappointed with how little of the games she saw. Wandering the streets byself wasn't really a wise move on her part either, but she didn't overly care. Arthur was supposed to be keeping an eye on the girl while Jessica and James recovered from their injuries with Manami and Shiro, but she had given him the old flaming pumpkin to the back of the head and slipped away while he frantically tried to put out the fire which resulted on him.
Worked every time.
That was when, out of the corner of her eye she saw him. She could spot him, like pretty much any other member of the guild, from a mile away. Her speed was out of this world as she ran over and jumped on Indigo's back now, all the while shouting.
"Indiiiiiiiigooooooo!" The young girl wrapped her arms around the neck of the wizard double her age, a large toothy grin on her face.
Yes Indigo would do nicely to play with! He knew how to make things fun!

Sam gave Ryu a smile, tugging at his hand until he leaned down and kissing his cheek, before saying "Amelia will end up going to the ball" she spoke softly, before twirling away, back to her father, and smiling innocently at her sister. She gave Elyse a smile, slipping her flowers in her hair, and looking up at Jarvis. She reached up to hold his hand, looking around at Carver curiously, "Hi, hi. I'm Samantha, but you can call me Sam" One might wonder if Jarvis and jamie had chosen a name that could be gender neutral just in case she inherited shape shifting abilities like Jamie.

Jarvis smiled down at Sam, before starting off, he stopped at the message, giving a soft sigh. A wayward guild member just seemed the icing on the cake after everything, but he figured most of the guild members could protect themselves.

At the next message, he frowned, taking his lacrima out. "Why are they looking for her?" the thought that someone was looking for one of the guild members worried Jarvis-what had happened now, or had Marlene done something? Jarvis didn't think so..."We're coming back to the hotel now, Rose. Marlene should have a communication lacrima. Everyone should"

He looked to Carver, continuing on the way to the guild, he listened to Lucas, and glanced to Raiden, walking over to the conciege, he grabbed the guild marker, coming back over to Carver and the others, "Well, I'm just making Carver here a member, so thats good timing. Where do you wish the guild mark, and what colour?" he spoke with the Hotel manager a moment, and then said "Marlene maybe in her hotel room"

He looked to Argus, frowning, "What do you want with her?"

"Just Argus is fine, no need to be so stiff and formal." Argus took a second to yawn, still feeling a little tired from the long trek back from Belka. As Rose gave him the sense that she didn't know where Marlene was either(as well as some unsolicited information about herself that made Argus feel a bit awkward), he was ready to give them both a wave good-bye and be on his merry way. Then Rose decided to put out an APB through their communication Lacrima for the girl, which was a nice gesture and all, but also kinda over-board. Argus opened his mouth to say that they didn't really need to do this, but then he found himself being escorted to some big, intimidating guy all of the sudden by Lucas. A bead of sweat rolled down his face as he wonder if this guy was about to beat him up or something, certainly looked capable.

Luckily, he just wanted to know Argus' intentions for the visit. UUgh, I feel kind of awkward now that I've drawn so much attention, plus if what this guy said is true, she heard that and if I go up there, it'll seem like I made a big deal of it. Dammit, I'm just standing here like an idiot and this dude already doesn't seem to happy with me asking questions.

I was a bit of an ass to her, and we kinda got into a bit of a scuffle that got us both in some big trouble, so yeah, just want to say sorry is all." As Argus spoke he re-quipped one of his gift bags into his hands to gently pass over to Jarvis, giving him the same warning he gave everyone to be very careful with it. "So . . . can you call her down? I'd feel a bit weird going all the way up to her hotel room since we don't really know each other all that well, and it'd just make thinks awkward, I think. Also, do you guys have any water, cause I'm feeling kinda parched right now. As he finished, Argus started fiddling with , a tick he often did when he got nervous and right now he was worried over whether this guy knew the specificities of everything that happen, and thus, was possibly going to feed him 18 different flavor whoop-ass no matter what he was here for.

"Oh, the details of my current look aren't that important, besides, I can't believe somebody changing their body in this fashion is really all that bizarre in a day and age when magic has once more begun to grow commonplace." With a giggle, Jacqueline poke Jasmine sternum before turning around to start walking in a direction, beckoning for the girl to follow. [b["really, if you spend time getting hung up on such pitiful notions of normality, you will become just another boring face in the crowd. Standing by social conventions and norms are for those who lack the strength of will to be who they really are. Ah, but I'm not here to lecture you, I'm here because I'm bored and you seem like you are to, so let's do something interesting, yes?"[/b]

Turning around to make sure that Jasmine was still following, Jacqueline pointed down a rather dingy looking alleyway. The shadows within were long and deep, and the smell of filth and refuse was rather unpleasant. "Let's try going down this way, and see where it leads us. A little mini-adventure, if you will. And don't worry about any dangerous vagabonds or criminals, because the only thing that could possibly hurt you while I'm around is, well, myself, and I wouldn't dream of harming a single hair on your head. That's a promise."

Such a good actor, this girl was. A realistic, gentle frown of concern met her gentle face, her green eyes softening even more to show her want of nothing more than to help.
"I realize you're hurting, so I won't become upset with your sharp words, but please understand that I mean no harm." Akai took a few more hesitant steps forward so she was just a couple or more feet from the boy. "I apologize if I came off wrong. I just know what it's like to have your heart broken. It's painful isn't it?" She paused to place a kind hand cautiously on his shoulder, the palm warm and comforting.

"I know what it's like, so I help people to get rid of the pain in their hearts. To do that, you merely have to remove what's causing you pain... that's what I'm offering you, because I can empathize with you. Do you understand?" Akai moved her head to make eye contact with Cody, a glimmer of hopefulness and concern filling the deep pools of amber and green. "I can help you..."

James, at the end of the Games, had meant to catch Cody and see if he wanted to do more training of his swordsmanship. However, with the flux of people, both from the guild and watching in general, he lost sight of his student quickly. Eventually, he managed to get out the stadium and spotted Cody heading down the street. Knowing the young man wouldn't hear him at the distance they were at, James attempted to catch up in a timely matter, but only ended up seeming to trail him at a distance. Eventually, the unfortunate happenstance turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as his position allowed him to spot a girl follow Cody down the alleyway, one with a smile on her face that spoke of ill intention.

Picking up his pace and being a little more pushy about moving through the crowd, he managed to reach the end of the alleyway in time to hear the girl's words. Whatever she had planned, however, was interrupted as the sound of the Paladin's sword leaving it's sheath echoed down the alley way and the girl felt the tip of the blade against her spine. "You would do well to leave my student alone, or state your business as requested. That smile I saw on your face before you followed him spoke of ill intention."




Jake smiled and chuckled. "Well, I don't have anything super formal myself, so perhaps we could go and help each other pick out something? I mean, would save you from Krystal."

Following Jarvis back to the Phoenix wing's hotel he hears him ask about where to put the guild mark and what color. Carver instantly replied, "On, my right shoulder and black if that isn't any trouble." Carver staying rather quiet after answering the question where he wanted the guild mark. He listening to the conversations going about.

Carver then asks not directed any anyone just asking anyone who would listen, "So what is this ball I keep hearing about? I know Amaya was talking about it with Joshua. So it's a little get together for all the Phoenix Wing guild in a formal party?" Carver was thinking now he might go to that ball and meet the other guild members after he becomes a member.

Primarily Carver was waiting for Jarvis, and the guild mark before he did anything else. Carver would have to remove his jacket to get the mark on his shoulder like he wanted. Carver noticed the other man Jarvis was talking to with a gift bag of sorts. The dude was fidgeting Carver noticing that the guy was nervous about talking about Marlene. Carver taking note of everyone he meets, he doesn't know when he will have to use the knowledge of someone's demeanor.

Strolling down the streets looking for any means to occupy his time since the games were over with, this was a tough situation, one where he almost considered fighting Nidhogg to pass the time with before their guild master told them to do something fun. It was a bit more boring than usual due to the fact that more guards were around, so what he did for fun wouldn't really pass. Although pulling a prank on some of the city's guards might be a bit interesting. Yet before he could think any further he nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden weight on his back and the female voice shouting his name, with her arms around his neck. He held his hand over his heart as if he was trying to keep it from popping out of his chest.

He would turn his head sideways to see Angela's grin, and would give a poker face in return. Yet Indigo would waver and eventually burst out laughing. "Geesh Angela, nearly caused me to pee my pants. You wandering around bored like me? I was looking forward to watching the guilds try and maim each other. Watching people from different guilds working together only to turn on each other. Its events like those that show someone's true colors." He said not bothering to remove the young woman from his back, as he tapped his chin. "Yet I've been trying to think of something.... fun to do. Something involving the guards. A prank if you will, yet what kind of prank is the question, do you have any ideas?"
