Ezekiel "Ease" Evans

The door closed was followed right after by a butt being plopped on a bed and a back and skull meeting the wall. And that was followed by a downright exhausted sigh. He stared down at a certain little notebook...All he could do was groan as he snatched it up and flipped it open, writing in big letters on an empty page "Big Green Aleph(The Hero) Has Fucking Resurrect." Right afterwards, he closed it immediately and peered over at his squirrel companion. It was obvious to him that the little guy dozed back off, thankfully not disturbed by all the noise outside. Good thing he didn't slam the door huh? Ease's eyes went back to his lap and his head quickly went into his lap as he let out yet another exhausted sigh.

"Another god damn game changer, huh?"

The entirety of now from yesterday has been nothing but revelation after revelation with barely a break in sight. Hell, not even just revelations right? The god damn massacre on that street, Aya vanishing, getting cut thanks to Kyle trying to play "hero" when literally everyone else was obviously better at that task, etc. It's all just been more and more shit piling up on each other. Aleph and the elf from yesterday both had Resurrect and he's encountered multiple Earthlings on a day that seemed so regular. It's just been nothing but bomb after bomb! It would be kinda cool if it wasn't for everything turning out shit over and over again. God things used to be so different...simple. When did all this get so hectic? Oh yeah...just from yesterday. Ironically, sorta like when he first got here. That reminded him actually...He peered his head back up and did a quick inspection of the room and let out a quick nostalgic chuckle.

Didn't he stay here for awhile back when he first arrived in Lugunica?

Yeah...That was right. He was still dressed up in his sweatshirt and jeans at that point. His mind was all over the place at the time too...Hell he was pacing back and forth around the floor trying to figure out what was going on, slapping himself occasionally as if to see if one would finally make him open his eyes to an emptied bar and a pissed off bartender. God, he reeked of booze too...Poor everyone else huh? He let out a chuckle at that thought. More importantly he was panicking like it was the end of the world. To him though...it kinda was, wasn't it? Even now, he can't blame himself for panicking. After all, look where he is now. Been a year later and he's still no closer to being home. But then...there was what he was thinking about.

That bar...It felt so far away now. Not in his most insane dreams except this one would he ever have thought his fondest memories would be the moments before being utterly smashed before his conscious faded. Oh and that weird ass handshake him and his then drunken buddy Evan decided to invent. How did it go? He outstretched his hand...Let's see...Fist up, then down. Double pound, that stupid gun thing people did with their forefinger and middle finger after that, right? And then a final fist pump. Oh God they were both smiling and laughing at it like it was the coolest thing. It was obvious both of them were well past drunk at that point. When did they get so lightweight that they drunk after a few cups of Smirnoff? Okay, more than a few cups, but still. Huh...It almost felt like he was back there. Just being a stupid drunk guy...He let out yet another chuckle, this one in more sorrowful nostalgia than humor found in hindsight.

The sound of faint arguing was all but lost to him. Instead his hand outstretched and grabbed at his cup, sipping down more vodka. He clanked glasses with Evan for a second, just so he would chill for a minute with all his talks about how his finals were a bitch to handle. Course he'd be coy on it, saying how he'll continue talking about it just to spite him a bit. He just let out a drunken groan and told him to tell him about that girl he was dating again and actually not change topics out of nowhere for once. Evan just scratched his head and said the usual "Oh yeah, oops" he kinda just expected when they were drunk. And Ease being the drunk douche he was was asking her about how she apparently has the best ass on campus. And Evan being the same drunk douche commented about how yeah she did, but, unlike his friend, he still had some class. The girl was kinda changing him a bit. He was softer than he used to be. Aaaaand for some reason the girl was way more confident than she used to be. Ease did that stereotypical drunk thing and was going all "Dude that's so awesome! You're so damn great dude you deserve a girl like that man!" and shit with Evan just laughing it off and saying "Calm down for a sec, I haven't even told you about how I-"

That faux-dream was soon shattered by a loud grunt and the sounds of a chair splintering far outside the room.

Ease looked back and forth as he broke out of his trance. It felt like he was somewhere else for a second...Nah, more like a minute if anything. What was-Wait wait, focus. Loud noises, need to check that out. He can worry about whatever the hell happened later.

Picking up his sword sheathe and band and putting it onto his back, he ran out into the tavern's bar area, hand grasped onto his sword grip. Except, instead of an ensuing bar fight, it was actually something more like a bar fight abruptly being ended. And it was Duncan who ended it with one downright insane push while, as Ease could see, straight out the door laid his terrified taller opponent on a broken fruit stand. Ease's hand simply dropped from his sword and to his side as he just saw the guy who was shorter than he was hand a guy, who could probably bench press the two of them, his own ass. This happened. This actually happened. And Ease could only stare for a second.

Oh wait, a customer just went flying out the door. Literally. Uh oh.

He quickly turned over to Yoshi and scratched his head nervously as he pursed his lip. "Uh...Okay, I can't really explain what just happened. Kinda wish I could, but thank god the door isn't broken though." He rubbed his frow annoyed, but the moment he stopped, he simply put a bag of coins on the table near Yoshi. "Look, sorry Yosh. I don't know if he was gonna buy more or not, but to hell with it. Consider it just on the house from me for staying the night, okay?"

Daisuke

He woke up, tired, and in pain, unknowing of where he was or what had happened. A light shines through the window and curtains, and into the room, illuminating the entirety of it. Staring at the ceiling, he thinks of what had happened. Last thing he can remember, he was looking for Aya, she had gone missing. He was wandering the city looking for her, then blacked out.
Looking around, he can tell hes in a room in the tavern. Sitting up slowly, he feels a pain in the back of his head. Quickly, he pressures his hand against the pain. He can feel his hair loose on the back of his head. He's still fully clothed, but under the covers of the bed. He slowly and steadily gets out of the bed and stands up. He sees his hair tie on the bedside table, and uses it to bun his hair. He peeks open the door exiting the room, looking into the hallway.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" He can hear voices and movement downstairs, so he makes his way down the hall to the staircase.
On the way down, he can see Yoshinobu, Kyojin, Ease, the bald guy they had talked to, and some other people he doesn't recognize. "Ohayo gozaimasu." Daisuke wished them good morning as he stepped down the stairs.
"Yo! Kyojin, Yoshinobu, Ease! What happened? Why did I wake up here? Wait, what time is it?!" He had a confused look on his face, as well as a grumbling stomache. "Ahh, Yoshinobu, I'm starving! Could you fix something up for me to eat please?"
How long has it been since he'd eaten? He must have been asleep for a while because he left the tavern not too long after he last ate. He's very confused about what happened to him, but he realized that Aya wasn't in the tavern with everyone else he sees. "Did anyone find Aya? Is she alright? I'm worried about her."
His closest, but still distant, connection was to Aya. They hadn't really conversed a lot, but he quickly started feeling close to her. Losing that connection so suddenly after coming to a strange world would be devastating. She brought home back to life in his mind, and that meant a lot to him.

MALAKAUS FIREBELLY

Malakaus chose to ignore Zin, keeping his focus on Vesta since he wanted her answer. She had a moment now, which was as good as it could get he suppose. They were busy people after all. "I seek your assistance in my quest to rid a village of the demon beasts that will soon attack them. I will leave today before nightfall to begin my trek to the village. If you wish to join me I shall be at the castle until it is time for me to leave or seeking out more recruits. Alternatively you may accompany me now if you wish. If you cannot partake in this quest I understand, but there is another matter more private I wish to speak to you of when we can be alone." Malakaus's voice was loud, even somewhat commanding, however he bowed his head after he finished speaking so that Vesta would understand that these are merely his requests, and she has the full choice of accepting or denying them.

Looking over at Orgos briefly, Malakaus wondered what exactly did Orgos do that he could "tame" a human(oid) woman. If this was some horse or dog he'd understand, but him taming a living person sounded like some thinly veiled implication of slavery. But perhaps Orgos was just joking. Not really something that Malakaus would make any immediate comments about, though after his stint as a slave a few weeks before his arrival back to this city, the knight still had a sore spot about slavers. The similarities between beast tamers and slavers were more apparent to Malakaus not that he has been put to the lash in the past.

"If you have anyone who you could recommend to accompany me, I would be more then glad to accept them from you."

ATISHA ELUVIAN

Atisha promptly ignored the madness of men after she retrieved her meals. The stranger who played his music (Alexander) was quickly assaulted by the masked horned figure from before (Olipher) after a somewhat familiar face (Aleph) made a loud declaration about his hatred of the song. Soon after Ease, the man who was trying to speak to her before, exploded into hysterics that Atisha dodged out of the way of. Soon a large drunkard was making his way in the general direction of Atisha and the elf she was going to have a meal with, before he was intercepted by a bald man (Duncan), who proceeded to have a fight with him. All this Atisha was aware of, and avoided to the best of her ability as she made a beeline back to the table, not even looking abck at the chaos in her wake.

Arrive to the table Atisha placed the plates of food for herself, Blanc, and even Tundo. Sighing Atisha sat down and looked up at Blanc. "... Sorry for taking so long. Now then, let's-" Just as Atisha was about to remove her mask to eat her meal, one of the humans who was accompanying the music playing fool (Sean) came over to apologize for drawing unwante3d attention. If it wasn't for the fact that Atisha was in front of another elf, she would have exploded right then and there, either stabbing Sean multiple times or blasting him with a wall of water. Instead Atisha simply looked at the human while still wearing her mask and speak in a subtle but threatening tone.

"You have done enough, human. Leave us to eat in peace." Unlike Malakaus, Atisha's words were commands. She didn't enter this tavern for the chaos, and in fact never wanted to be in this city in the first place. She was starting to question all the decisions that brought her to this point instead of some small village that needed her spear to defend them, or at least a roadside tavern where there were far fewer crazies conglomerating.

AND

Blanc turned around to meet the human, Sean, who apparently was apologizing for his friend's obnoxious ranting about Elven Rights, Women's Rights and then suddenly blaring the music that wasn't even familiar to her, Tundo and her acquaintance in the first place. She had this cold frown on her pretty little face, her icy blue just staring into the windows of Sean's soul. This was the second time a "human" with strange origins and methods had showed up, it was as if she was experiencing another nightmare again with that meat shield of hers.

Wherever he is, was beyond her. But Blanc knew if she saw him again, she needed that one bag of Appas. She was short on cash since yesterday cut her short to a horrible sight of dead bodies. She would've found work that day and if it weren't for that "Human" she would've already found lodging by her own. With a sigh, she turned back to Atisha, who seemed to be a little bit hostile despite keeping her cool.

She would smile at Atisha lightly, finding her subtle threat to be aiding her for once but she raised her hand as if saying she could handle this herself. "U-umm... it's okay miss. I-I'll handle this, you can join the conversation a-and speak out when you feel like it. She was stuttering quite a bit, still rather scared of the thought that she raised her hand at the armored elven woman, she might suddenly cut it off. Hopefully this wouldn't be the case.

Tundo wasn't growling at Sean or at Atisha's sort of threat. He just stood beside his contracted mistress and nodded at her with a wolfish grin. "You need a little confidence to stop stuttering, but the response to her subtle threat was good at best. I will be here in case either gets the wrong idea.

Hearing her spirit's response telepathically, she could feel safe and at ease. "Thank you Tundo. I'm sure our acquaintance meant no harm. Everyone has their reasons. I just hope this one isn't as worse as the meat shield. She would look over at Sean with a small smile before turning her body around completely to face him while sitting down. "That. Was a mediocre apology. No better than the boy I met just yesterday." She sounded pretty pissed and more confident at the human. Maybe because he didn't look intimidating? Who knows? All that Sean knows is. Blanc's not accepting the Peach Juice.

Vesta Celestia and Avery Ackbar Celestia

Along with a Guest Star appearance from Vivi Celestia

@liferusher@Spriggs27@FamishedPants@demonspade64@Claw2k11@Lucius Cypher

Finally, some respect for someone of her station. After all the disrespectful people she had met yesterday this certainly made her feel better. She had never expected anyone to grovel in her presence, but just a simple polite tone and wording much like Malakus and Orgus here was enough. Surely it wasn't that difficult if, no offense to the two before her, orcs were doing it?
Zin's words....unsettled Vivi. There seemed to be a weird look to her eyes which made the bluenette shiver in fear and cross her arms across her chest protectively. Just who was this woman and what was her relationship with her sister?
And what was this about 'taming' this woman? Vivi wasn't quite following this and simply watched on with a slight frown. She needed more context to be able to analyse this situation and made a mental note to ask Vesta at a later date. If this woman survived of course.
Although if this woman really was a dragon than even Vesta would struggle....dragons were considered to be as powerful as gods in some legends.
Turning to Orgus, Vesta seemed to look him over for a moment before shrugging apologetically.
"I'm afraid I wasn't....quite myself last night. I apologise for any offence I may have given by my actions and to prove so I will listen to what you have to say." Vesta commented slowly at first before bowing her head.
She didn't choose to respond to his comments of helping her 'tame' Zin or his hunting background. She wasn't surprised that he was a hunter, his physique certainly matched such a line of employment, but mostly because she believed she didn't need any assistance in the matter. If all she had to do was beat Zin, then she could do it herself quite easily.
That was when Zin now jumped on her and tried to latch her mouth onto Vesta's shoulder, only to be met with a rather effortless construction of earthen armor around her shoulders.
Due to destroying her defensive pillars earlier, Vesta had rock dust on her person and now utilised it to full effect.
"Ms Parrallex I will get back to you in one moment." Vesta sighed as she just let her sit there and chew on the armor. It wouldn't last long, Zin's jaw was stronger than anticipated. So Vesta would have to make this quick.
"Oh? That sounds quite intriguing Mr Firebelly. I'll wrap this up quick and then we can get to the details." Vesta was clearly interested in what Malakus had to say, but Zin did have business with her first so she would have to wrap that up before proceeding with anyone else.
"El Dona."
The dust on her hands hardened into gauntlets made of granite as she grabbed Zin by the scruff of her neck and threw her clean over her shoulder and away from Vivi and the rest...and straight into what seemed like a giant pitfall as the ground just seemed to vanish for a 10 metre by ten metre radius.

Avery chuckled playfully to Dante despite the obvious anger on display. Damn so Vesta had told him then? Oh well...it was fun while it lasted.
"Why so angry Mr Dante? I never addressed myself as a girl you just assumed me to be one. You only have yourself to blame~" Avery hummed teasingly before letting go of Dante and seeming to dance around of him. Avery was usually quite fleet of foot and seeme dto either prance or dance around the place, almost as if it was second nature.
He also managed to quickly cut off Aya by placing his staff in front of her. He did make sure to have placed it with enough distance to let Aya stop and not just run into it. It would be rude otherwise!
"Lady Vesta needs to speak with you Ms Aya so I'm afraid you can't go anywhere. Especially if I haven't made sure that you've recovered from last night. I'm not sure what kind of experience you went through, but when Vesta bought you back you were out cold. Your my patient at the moment and if anything were to happen to you, I would be to blame after all." Avery told the girl plainly with a bright smile on his face.
"Shiro is looking for m'lady right now. So in the meantime I must ask you....." Avery trailed off as he cast a glance towards Dante. He was there last night when Avery had admitted to being from earth after also having found out that Aya too was from earth so there wasn't any harm in mentioning it around him right?
"Are you from the land down under?"

Sean Williams

Sean didn't exactly expect instant forgive ness, so he wasn't exactly surprised. The armored person slightly unnerved him however. If she really became upset with him, of course he'd leave, but if she tried to attack him, that'd just be uncalled for. Luckily however, the elf interceded and spoke for herself. She wasn't feeling very forgiving either, despite the smile she had which he found misleading, but nice. It looked like peach juice wouldn't just smooth things over, but he was okay with discussing things with her and working things out. He'd leave the peach juice out though, just so she knew the offer was still on the table... I'll just roll with the punches and sort things out. Maybe we can still be friends regardless! Sean thought hopefully before he responded.

"I can agree, I'm not the best with apologies, I'm sorry. I also get that just an apology isn't going to make up for making a scene in there. I wasn't doing it to bring attention to you or anything, it's just that I was taught to stand up for other people, I just lack tact occasisionally, and tend to get in other people's business. I'd really like to be friends though, so what can I do to make this right? By the way, my name's Sean, what's yours?" Sean asked, trying to at least know what to address her by, as elf girl wasn't very polite, nor did he think she'd enjoy that pseudonym. Sean also hoped he wasn't going to seem weird for trying to be friendly.

The old man was trying to talk Nick over but Nick wasn't an easy one to convince of something.

"Getting revenge is only said lightly, I want to FUCKING KILL HIM."

Nick staggered back into aggressive mode again and kicked the poor cat girl once more making her ly on the ground with both hands over her head. Nick gave another kick but stopped when Myst began talking again.

"What do you mean info? I doubt I can give you any info about anything old man."

Hamaguchi slowly sat herself half upright again, she still was a little bit cautious of Nick kicking her again, her eyes trailed towards the man having the conversation. At first glance he didn't seem so bad but he definitly showed some weird quirks that she didn't like at all.

"What?! You want to get the guy that tried beating me?! I don't have a clue on why you want him but if you find him get him to me! I want too fuck him up real bad."

Nick had fire in his eyes, there really was no stopping him in getting his revenge.

"What? You want to do what with this brat!? Oh man you're so fucked up. I don't want you to get any nearer then this too me got that!"

"W-wha? Nyo, Nyck pwease down't do this to me!"

Nick turned to Hamaguchi again and got his foot at her one more time while she was distracted by the man. The foot hit her full on the nose. The cat girl immediately let herself fall to the ground rolling in pain as blood gushed out of her nose.

"Whatever I don't care anymore, she is useless anyway."

Nick walked away letting the end of the chain fall to the ground, he gave a short wave over his shoulder not looking back at the man.

"Nice doing business with you."

When the mess was finally cleaned up Yoshinobu got over towards the two boys again and helped them out a little with the last few things.

"Thank you very much for cleaning that up for me. Feel free to get a drink on the house!"

Yoshinobu overhead the two talking about joining the iron bells. It made her kind of wonder if they had a lot of experience with fighting already. This tavern wasn't really focused on stuff like that but they still often offered jobs that had to do with killing beasts.

"I don't know what your experience is with fighting but we have a few jobs that might interest you. I think they are kinda hard though so please watch out for your own sake."

Yoshinobu pointed at a medium sized board hanging on the wall covered with advertisements and the likes but underneath them all were posters of monsters that were being hunted. Under every poster were a few lines of text describing the thing and where to go to get the job. Most of them pointed towards the adventure guild though. The posters looked pretty old so to say but there were a few new ones Kondo had hung up recently.

A new person walked in making Yoshi rush towards his table. He was quick to order.

"Um we don't have that here but I can offer you other things. Want a menu card perhaps? Maybe something to drink too."

In the meantime the man called out for Yoshi if she knew any shrines nearby she put a finger to her lips as she was thinking for a moment.

"There is a Shinto shrine nearby, I can have someone sent with you to lead the way when you're finished if you really want to."

Ease threw a bag of gold on the table and offered to pay for Duncan she thought. She picked only 10 coins out of the bag and smiled at him.

"Please keep the rest of the money to yourself, this is plenty hehe."

The next one to join them all was Daisuke, the boy she had met yesterday while she was shopping. With a warm kind smile she embraced Daisuke into the cafe part of the inn.

"Good morning too Daisuke. I hope you slept well, mind helping me a little as payment after I made you a breakfast off course. I got Duncan to get you in bed. You were passed out on the street for no reason. We were lucky to hear you snoring hehe."

Yoshinobu got back behind the bar again and made him some chicken with bread and a egg. It was cooking for a while so she had time to get drinks for the two. Yoshinobu placed some milk in front of Daisuke and heard him out.

"Aya? A friend of yours? You must have had a bad dream."

Kondo

"I still have to go there today, I'll do that when we will be searching for a weapon for you. I want to head by the adventure guild too."

Kondo was slowly reading into his newspaper again. He eyed around him a little to keep watch on his tavern. It was a little too rowdy at this time of day.

Dante was yelling at Avery for getting off of him but Aya didn't want anything to do with it anymore. It was time to go home now. Avery his staff was placed in front of Aya to stop her from moving down the hallway any further. Aya looked at the staff for a moment and casted quite a mean look at Avery.

"What now!"

Avery was stating that she couldn't walk off on her own, Aya furrowed her brow and pushed the staff away from her.

"I don't care, I'm going home so let me go now!"

Alexander Sky

"That ought to be great as well!" Alexander replied to Yoshinobu. "But to be honest, we also want to get on the good side of the law, as we come from a distant land, and need opportunities that are more than a few months' worth of coin and food. No offense intended, of course."

"However, we can probably look at the jobs on offer if needed, just in case we need a contingency for if we can't join the Knights. Nevertheless, Mrs, thank you for the offer of aid and the patience you showed us. You really are a kind person."

At least Alexander's attention got taken off Duncan this time...

Myst Neumann

"Then I will help you kill him," Myst said to Nick. "As for info, I would like to know how your enemy fought so that yes, I can 'get him to you', in exchange for - ah, you're giving me the girl but also asking me to stay away from you, all right." This day just kept getting better and better. Taking ahold of Hamaguchi's chain, Myst, with surprising strength for a 74-year old man, began dragging Hamaguchi over to his carriage, where the horses ridden by his dozen mercenaries waited. Locking her in the carriage, Myst said with barely restrained meneace:

"Do not try anything, young lady," he then conjured up a globe of water, before continuing, "if you do scream or try to get free, I will drown you."

And with that, the carriage and mercs drove on...

------

Myst's second mansion, the one he had moved into since leaving the countryside, was located at the exact opposite end of the city from the Celestia manor, and it was a surprisingly bright and clean estate, staffed by intimidated-looking maids and butlers. Its owner's carriage would not make for the main gate, however, but a side entrance that led directly to the 'magical laboratories', where the legal, even sanctioned research was still held.

From there, he would drag Hamaguchi by the chain to a series of basement doors, magically warded by his 'criminal magi' contacts, which contained the dissection rooms and torture chambers. Swiftly 'escorting' the unfortunate nekomimi to a room that contained a torture rack, the Mage would then have Hamaguchi's hands and legs tied to said torture rack, before he would continue:

"Here is the deal," Myst said as he took out a knife, a knife specially blunted so that it would cut through clothing, not flesh. "You tell me all that you can about the people who tried to help you, and I do not cut away your clothes. Tell me about what they said to you and what their abilities were and how they managed to give Nick a hinderance. If not, well..." Myst would place the tip of the knife underneath the hem of Hamaguchi's shirt, prepared to begin cutting...

Maria von Hohenzollern

Royal Capital Lugnica

@liferusher

“It appears that you are like the others I have met. I have never heard of such locations in my life. Perhaps you are from a land I know not about?” Maria said to the lost girl. It was clear there was an influx of people who “didn’t belong in Lugnica”, but from where she had no clue. Her assumption was Slavers, but even if there were slavers that were taking people from other places and trafficking to Lugnica, then she surely would know where these people were coming from within the context of her maps.

But this wasn’t the case. Perhaps there was a spell that was altering their memories? That was a possibility, but Maria’s knowledge on mind-altering effects were limited. She wasn’t a practitioner of strange, spiritual arts like a certain catboy who dressed like a catgirl. Her knowledge in wind-based magic was barebones at best. Her father had told her she lacked the mentality to utilize magics. If “trickery” was making sure that your audience [enemy] didn’t know what you were doing, then magic was proving your tricks to your audience [enemy]. However, once the trick is reviled the purpose loses its meaning.

But it was still strange. All the others who had arrived did not understand the language of Lugnica aside from their speech, yet this young lady seemed to have an understanding of the language. At the very least she was reading a book with somewhat ease [?], which seemed to be a bit out of place.

“The History of the Iron Bell… do you happen to understand what that book is saying? I’ve met a few people who’ve also been displaced recently, and I will have to say that they didn’t understand our language. Do you understand that book?”

“Anyway, you said you were hungry. I shall take you to a place one of my knights told me about in the city. It is only a short walk from here, but since you don’t know your way around here I shall guide you.”

Chastity

Royal Capital Lugnica

@Zelosse

“Oh, you appear to have my intentions wrongly discovered. I am not so much of a philistine to chain up any work of art. I am merely an “Investor in the arts”. I wish to see the play of your existence. I am not someone who tends to enter the stage unless I truly have to. Cannot say that my stage ability is too great, but like I showed the other day in the event someone is to interest me… well they cannot kill off someone so interesting early, no?”

Perhaps there was some truth in his statements. Juxtaposed by the rather bare building the two were currently within, hardly furnished passed the point of necessity and only within the somewhat dark, drab room were two seats sitting across some sort of desk. Innocuous positions were usually the easiest to uphold.

There were little to no reasons anyone would take it upon themselves to enter the building that held the two most wanted men in all of Lugnica right now. It wasn’t like this meeting or this place would have changed in the event that the Bishop and the Swordsman were to have met without being wanted. PErhaps the location would have changed, but there was enough property that the Bishop could use in that event within the confines of the city.

Chastity was just a plain man. Someone who supported the arts, but didn’t understand the first step towards their creation. Perhaps, then, one could say he was not a “collector”, but a “viewer”

“My purpose is to cause disorder in this world through the Divine Mandate of My Fair Lady. To tear down the very fabric of the world and build it anew in her image. And so I facilitate those who would give me a better chance. Your scent… you’ve been touched by the fair lady as well. My nose is never wrong about this sort of thing. You are not too different from me. Your fate and my own are intertwined, but which side of history shall you take up? The side of the establishment, or shall you help me in my quest to build the world anew?”

As the dragon woman bit into the earth magician's shoulder in an attempt to hurt her, Zin's teeth met something hard. Zin's teeth were deep in some rocks that Vesta used as armor to stop Zin from hurting her, the dragon used all the strength in her jaws to bite down through the makeshift rock armor, then the unexpected happened. Vesta suddenly scruffed Zin, acting on instinct, the dragon woman went limp dangling from Vesta's granite coated hands, as she swung back in forth from Vesta's hands almost lifelessly the thought went through Zin's head "How did she know to do that?" But just as quickly as zin was surprised was as fast as Vesta threw the dragon woman over her shoulder.

While she flew over the silver-haired Celestia's shoulder and flew almost on the same level as a dragon, or at least a dragon that could glide at the very least. Before Zin could slam face first into the pit, Vesta wanted to chuck her into Zin blew fire from her nose and mouth, she used the flame's momentum to throw herself backwards and right back onto Vesta's back. The second Zin landed on Vesta's back once again, she began groping Vesta once again, in front of Vivi and the two orcs not caring if they watched them."You cannot defeat me that easily Vesta!" She yelled as her hands roamed inside of her shirt and trowers this time.

"Hmmm?"

Shiina tiled her head in strange manner at Maria. She hadn't heard of it before? It should have been decently close by. Shiina walked towards here after all.

"N-no it is close by... I think... I don't remember."

Shiina looked a little bothered by it. Thinking so much made her space out a little. She stared at Maria for some time before snapping out of her trance and putting the book back. Maria asked if she understood the book she was reading at all. Shiina gave a timid nod at Maria before speaking.

"I can read most of it, there are a few words I don't understand..."

Shiina looked at her newly acquired boots for a moment deep in thought.

"It wasn't that hard to make sense off though..."

Mmwhen she was done telling Maria about everything she stood next to her, her head tilted forward out of shyness. Maria was gonna take her to some sort of food stall or something. There was good so that was enough for her to go with Maria. Shiina muttered.

"Please lead the way."

Kurokono

@Kitsune@Soragoku@ZekariVoblis@Sir Lurksalot@Letter Bee@PhoenixRising@Lucius Cypher@Seirei No Hai@Soragoku@Letter Bee
"Not really, I'm just a mere Ronin on a journey in this capital to study magic, had arrived here from my village yesterday, name's Kurokono~" Kurokono's replied to Kyojin with a friendly smile, whilst hiding his sadface in the news that they don't sell ramen here. Probably invented after this era, sadly... and that guy is huge...! The scene at the bar is surprising better than he thought. He was expecting people with tattoos, menacing eyes, and table flips, but it was way peaceful than he thought. Like seriously, even the bartender have this 'I'm a good person' written all over her face.

"One porkchop please ~~" Kurokono bit on his glass of water, muttering it lazilly. "Other than that, I'm looking for an archer to investigate more on that Slum arsonist, since I aim like a Stormtrooper and swords are a pain in the ass against his magic." Kurokono realized that he had made a slip of the tongue and made a reference that is a few thousand years ahead, as he quickly corrected himself, "In other words my aiming sucks~ Only a guy like me is so precise ~" Kurokono continued with his sarcastic and friendly front. Still, I wish I would have time travelled to Tattooine, that would be nice to Force Choke people here & there ~~ Just like 99% of the swordsmen from his world, Kurokono is a fan of that **** Wars Trilogy ~

Kurokono noticed someone coming down there, someone with the same time of clothes of the 'modern era'. He choked on his glass of water at the sight of Daisuke. Another time traveller here?? He didn't expect to see another one of his kind to appear at a place like this. But now its clear to him that there are two person like him, one is the yellow haired kid, and the other being right inn front of his face. "Never heard of Aya in the slums, if you were to ask me, Mister Daisuke ~" He casually made a reply as he would overheard their conversations.

Alexander Sky

Alexander looked at Kuronoko then, before saying:

"Don't be so loud, and we had an archer in this tavern some time ago, but he chose to leave. Also, don't use the term 'Ronin', use 'Knight-Errant', like in the West. In fact, stop name-dropping Japanese names and terms terms in a kingdom that is obviously not on Earth, yet uses Western-style architecture and naming structures anyway, and has better steel than in the Sengoku period." He then tapped his own breastplate, the gift from his former mercenary mentors.

"Also, you've probably heard the word 'Lugnica', which isn't Japanese, a lot. More proof that not only are we in another world," Alexander didn't know that Kurokono thought he was time travelling yet, "but said world is a blend of Eastern and Western elements, though mostly western."

Which reminds me, I really wish I'd landed in Gaea from The Vision of Escaflowne...

Ezekiel "Ease" Evans

All Yoshi did was pick out 10 coins from the bag and leave the rest in the bag. The rest she obviously didn't want. Well, more so, she didn't want to take away the rest from Ease. He gave a quick smile and shrug as he poured out another 5 coins for her while taking the bag back for himself. "In hindsight, I probably shoulda seen that one coming huh?" Putting the bag back on his person, he turned towards another waking voice-the younger person, Daisuke. Like Blanc, his stomach growled too, except it wasn't met by the same disgust like her by other patrons. Though the fact that one of said patrons just broke a fruit stand with his back probably had something to do with it. That and him being human as opposed to an elf.

Then he brought up something that actually caught Ease's interest-Aya. Yeah...They still need to make an effort on finding her. God, with all the other crap going on, he forgot. Heck, Yoshi already seemed to have forgotten about her too. "Oh, she's the girl everyone was searching for last night. Ya know, that one in the maid outfit that was speaking weird." Considering how hectic everything was, he couldn't really blame her for forgetting her name. If it wasn't for how important she technically was, he'd have done the same. Ironic how for once his memory was better than someone else's...

Sitting on a stool not too far from the others, he sat down. No point in standing anymore and he still felt exhausted as is. Within a moment though, the guy made a notable blunder in his speaking. Stormtroopers...He was kinda iffy on why he knew that word so it was 50/50 for Ease. It didn't sound very Lugunican...then again, it could also be a crappy mercenary group, no? Ugh, dammit memories. Eeeexcept when the preacher from before decided to completely call him out on it and made mention of Earth. Well, guess that confirms it. An "ugh" escaped his lips as he realized he now had to confirm that too without blatantly exclaiming Earthen terms like the preacher guy. Hell, he wasn't even shocked anymore. These are, what? The 6th and 7th Earthlings he's encountered in the past 24 hours? He might as well just expect this at this rate. Still, sure as hell didn't take long for him to get numb to it...

More importantly, archers huh? Nope, he sure as hell ain't facing an arsonist cause, despite what TV would make him think, fighting fire with fire is a pretty shitty idea as he's learned. Well, next best thing, huh? But first, more information on what the hell is going on. "An arsonist? Isn't too surprising from the slums, but damn seems a bit serious, huh?" He asked towards the eyepatched man, leaning back on his chair.

Kyojin gave a small grumble at Kondo when he said he had not left to do it yet, though it was only playful in nature as he understood this was a favor to him not a job he had to do. "Ah well whenever you have the time my friend. No rush. If you need me to help carry things then I am here if you need." After mentioning this he picked up the mug of orange juice once more to take a large gulp from it, ah how he enjoyed juice and milk. Sure not the most manly thing in the morning but then again with his size he did not have to compensate... or in the case of Kondo just drink it for the hell of it because he could and likely enjoyed the taste a little too much..

Turning his attention back towards the man he heard something that confused him a little, maybe he had not heard of such a thing before but he wondered if this man was from a far off land too. "Ronin? Some kind of warrior title?" Still he was starting to wonder more about why he needed a archer than anything else, even with all the big distractions around..

Straightening his back to his full sitting height he was now peering down towards Evans as he asked the question that he wanted too, well at least that was a bonus but he was noticing a trend. "You are a curious one Even's, always looking into things. You some kind of investigator heh." He gave off a deep chuckle, but some info was good for the giant, reaching out and grabbing the large mug and taking a huge gulp from it. "Arsonist... Odd I didn't see anything-," That was right, something happened the night before with him... "Uh, anyway if you need any heavy lifting for it I would offer my services. That being said about looking for people." Peering back to Evens he gestured for his attention "You didn't find the girl either? What do you think happened?"

A slight look of realization hit him as he thought over what he said and realized that the word tame could be misconstrued for slavery in the situation they currently were and spoke, slightly ashamed of his words "Ah, by taming I meant just that, taming a creature as powerful and great as a dragon is viewed as the ultimate challenge for a hunter and tamer of beasts such as myself, I did not mean to say that I would enslave it and I am truly sorry if that came out wrong." and with that comment, he watched Zin bite onto Vesta's shoulder. For a moment, he thought to intervene just in case the dragon harm the girl, but earth wrapped around the girl and blocked the bite of the dragon.

"My lady, I came pounding on your gates during this time and interrupted your training bout with the dragon... if anything I should be the one to apologize for my unannounced arrival to your home." he said, bowing his head curtly before her, just as she grabbed the dragon by the neck and tossed it away, he heard his fellow orc speaking about demon beasts attacking a village and what was best was the orc was looking for capable recruits to help him deal with such a problem. He wanted to volunteer almost instantly as this would most likely make him a well known figure, bringing him just a bit closer to his quest of becoming a knight, however, if he did that, he might not be able to make the proposition to Vesta, so instead, he spoke. "My fellow orc, though I am not completely sure, depending on how my meeting with Lady Vesta goes, I may join you in your quest."

By the time he had turned towards Vesta again, the situation had changed quite a bit, the dragon was now groping Vesta and though this was an odd scene, his instincts urged him on to take this dragon on, but he knew better than to intervene into a duel between the two. Just to be sure however, he placed his hand on his hunting knife just in case the situation got out of hand.

"Why so angry Mr Dante? I never addressed myself as a girl you just assumed me to be one. You only have yourself to blame~"

Dante got even more pissed at him. If Dante was a cartoon character his face would turn all the way red with angry until his head explodes cause of all the heat he was creating. Was it really his fault...hell no. "How the hell was it my fault. You're the one who planted the damn idea in my head!" He yelled loudly as he tried to keep himself from throwing Avery out the window like the damn Imp he is.

Your getting to angry calm yourself down

Dante then sighs to calm himself down and start counting out loud. "1...2...3..."

Avery Ackbar Celestia

Avery chuckled softly into his hand at Dante's reaction. Well Avery supposed that Dante wasn't entirely wrong, however once again Avery never said anything to otherwise suggest it. It wasn't his fault people couldn't see through his 'disguise', no matter how convincing he made it to be!
"Tehe~ I have no idea what you're talking about~" Avery placed a finger on his cheek as he smiled innocently towards the angry inumimi. Ah. It seemed like Avery's own judgement was spot on, Dante was just too easy.
Aya however just seemed to be a very boring person. Always yelling and whining like some sort of child. Well at least she looked the part.
"Miss Aya....I really must insist. My lady's commands are equal to the dragon himself." Avery spun around and blocked her path off with his staff once more. A serious tone crept into his voice as he held the staff firmly in front of her.
"Besides...you can't get back. We're trapped. You, me and Mr Daisuke along with anyone else from earth. My lady has searched for a way back for 8 years without a whiff."

Duncan was a very simple kind of man with easily understood thought processes; he was covered in booze. And broken glass. And sawdust... and he'd just made an ass of himself in the establishment owned by people who put him up for the night pro-bono by shoving a guy who, for all intents and purposes, looked like he could eat him through the air, out the door and across the goddamn street.

Understandably, the only thing on Duncan's mind right now was going upstairs, getting cleaned up and trying to figure what the actual fuck was going on with his own bo-

"I must apologize. It seems that in my unseemly haste to make things better..."

Duncan halted, his expression immediately growing cold.

'God. Fucking. Damn it.'

The kid was back. He was blocking his way. He was pontificating again.

...And blatantly ogling him like a piece of meat the whole while.

It appeared that after getting lost in medieval fantasy land, getting blown up, sifting through corpses all night and then waking up to having a hand, bottle and chair broken over his head the bald man had finally encountered the last straw. One by one, Duncan could almost feel the old mechanisms his grandfather and the army left in his psyche come to life as his gaze hardened, his arms crossed and he grew very, very quiet.

All in all, he looked absolutely livid. Something Alexander would've probably noticed if he was actually looking him in the eye.

"...But, sir, it seems that we may be bound by common interests and origins, and despite my childish recklessness, it seems that we have much to offer each other...especially as you seem surprised that you have superhuman strength, yet I can see the glow of Magic on y-"

"Let me be perfectly clear, the only reason why you're not writhing on the ground right now, crying and choking on what remains of your own jaw is because I kinda like the people who run this place and don't want to make a bigger mess here than I already have." He spoke, calmly and evenly though every word that left his throat dripped with absolute murder. "And right now, I honestly couldn't give a single boiling shit about what you have to 'offer' me."

That out of the way the veteran took a step forward and leaned in slightly, speaking directly into the boy's ear so there would be no room for doubt or confusion about his one simple ultimatum.

"Now get the fuck outta my way."

Alexander Sky

Alexander stepped out of the way; he wasn't suicidal.

That could have gone better, his mind spoke. You're a bit self-centred, you know that?

Once out of Duncan's way, the eighteen-year old boy looked around, finally putting his investigative skills to good use. And this is what he found out:

One, everyone didn't like him, or even barely tolerated him. Two, he was pursuing a course of action that would keep people disliking him. Three, like a kid without an adult to keep him from touching a hot kettle, he was going to keep doing it because he was a stubborn, selfish shit. Four, he didn't want to be a stubborn, selfish shit, but considering how he had alienated too many good people already, perhaps it was too late to stop.

No, that's wrong, part of his mind said. You can always stop being shitty. Just take courage.

I still feel mistreated, whined the worst part of Alexander.

The young man breathed in.

Stop trying to grab people's attention. The sensible part of him continued to speak. Get Sean. Make a tactical withdrawal before things are too late. There's no shame in retreat when staying makes things worse.

I don't control Sean, Alexander replied to himself. I'll let him talk to the Elf first. In the meantime...

"I'm sorry," the boy said to empty air once Duncan was completely away. Then, he went to an empty seat and just sat there, contemplating how he had managed to make such a mess of things...
