@TheSovereignGrave Nice catch! The map is a modified version of the ASOIAF planet's map, with a few things moved around and Westeros taken out altogether. I thought shoving the summer islands on top of Essos would hide my laziness, and you have proved me wrong.

@Jeyma Here's a list of nations you could borrow from if you want, though that's not to say you have to exclusively have naval elements and eat coconuts and shit. Also, to answer your earlier questions, the goal here is a group of 3-4 people who fit the three categories mentioned, and if I can get more than that then that's cool too. In the more likely event that some people get bored or quit, one of the 3-4 regulars will conquer them and life will go on.

[@The Rest of You] Forgot to mention, the continent that Gowi is on is essentially our planet's Europe. If you want a culture with straight swords, conservative dress, and lutes, put your country there. The further away you are from that continent, the more dissimilar your culture is. Sound fair?

@The Spectre So far the only established culture is the one I mentioned (And according to what Gowi told me about his country's history/culture the northeast might be Not-China/Mongolia) so the rest of the world's cultures are up to the players.

EDIT: If you'd define "The Americas" as the underdeveloped land of dudes killing elks with spears, then that's a no. The nomads, cave-dwellers and generally tribal peoples that would get steamrolled by an actual army live in all the places people haven't claimed by the start of the IC.

@The Spectre I'd have to know more about their culture, since those are some different groups -- I made one of the continents a stand-in for Europe to satisfy the people who wanted "regular" Fantasy NRP countries (Farming peasants, landowners with golden crowns, duels over honor, etc.) in a temperate setting, so if that sounds like your dudes, then go ahead and move 'em.
