Personality: Marcus is a guy who considers himself lucky to have powers. In fact, he always thinks about how he can use his power to help himself. Marcus is mostly all smiles as he currently enjoys his life and uses that same smile to hide his deceit at times. Due to his nature, one can bargain with him, which might get him to have a great deal of respect for the person if they best him. After some time, one may notice how much Marcus enjoys having company. This can be subtle or sometimes hard to miss.
History: Marcus was born and raised in Los Angeles. Since he could remember, Marcus always had a thing for fast and exotic cars. At sixteen he spent a lot of time getting into street races, not for just money, by to win. It was not even a year before Marcus was arrested, and given loads of community service. In this time, Marcus spoke to an officer that felt he could turn Marcus’ life around. Marcus was given some pretty good lectures about money, success, and how he could use his talents for something more. Marcus attended a community college for business and advertisement. After graduating, Marcus pursued a career in becoming a car salesman. Long story short, Marcus flopped the job within a few years due to how badly he screwing people over. Once jobless, Marcus went for something simple and started working at a Burger King full time. At least until the freak storm that gave him the power to zip around so fast that no one would ever notice him.
Now Marcus could have gone through the hero’s journey of learning responsibility and helping out the little man, but instead he figured that he himself was the little man. With ease, Marcus used his powers to take from others. Soon after he learned that he could be an invisible hand that guided his own success. He went scamming people out of their money to scamming people out of more of their money and it all mostly went to himself. Sabotaging bets, stealing whole exhibits, and even messing with stocks as helped businesses strive as he made others falter. The best part was that he was sure no one was onto to him. He kept in touch with family, but fed them lies about how he had picked up serious work with Ford or Chevrolet. Marcus Wilson, living the fast life, literally.
