I haven't been accepted yet. My CS is basically ready to start making posts with? It's a hell of a lot of characters, but I want to get started, if possible? I will add a lot more depth, but they're basically there. I would have even wanted to have Ellion competing in the melee too! :)

It took a long time, but it's been an absolute mess to do, I've really wanted to go for strength in numbers (I've got five major characters to play, two minor who are going to be added slowly as they're rather minor) rather than a ridiculously high level on four characters straight at once. It is an interesting approach, as I'd normally prefer to go for quality, but I'm experimenting around with setting up the foundations for a really numbered house, kinda like the Starks at the start of S1 (where there isn't three or four family members like the Lannister, but something ridiculous)- to really get the gist of what kind of household this is.

As a last comment, would the Tyrells have any Small Council seats, or not at all?

The Tyrells have always been a big House, and you needn't write detailed sheets for everyone, just everyone who you plan on using as a major POV. Everyone else can be a NPC and side character.

The only firm members of the small council I have now besides Jon and Daenerys are:

Hand of the King - Lord Tyrion Lannister

Grand Maester - Samwell Tarly

Lord Commander of the Kingsguard - Ser Podrick Payne

Mistress of Whisperers - Lady Arya Stark

Mistress of Law and Justiciar - Lady Sansa Stark

Mistress of Ships and Grand Admiral - Lady Asha Greyjoy

Master of War and Lord Marshall - ???

Master of Coin and Lord Treasurer - ???

Advisors (1-4) - ???

The additional titles were brought in by Cersei and Dany's Essosi leanings made them official. The Master of War office is a new one based on the throne's need for a lead general. And there is precedent for office less seats who act as general advisors. I checked the wiki and the greatest number is 4.

So the Tyrells can claim one of the vacant offices or the advisor slots, either would both have say in the Small Council. And of course Willas is the Warden of the South. I would also be willing to shift Sansa and Asha from their seats to advisor positions, if someone really wants their offices for their own PC and they would be a good fit.

The melee is shaping up to be more involved than I thought. I originally thought it was just going to be Jon and Rhaegar competing as PCs. Would all the players who wish to have a PC compete PM me? Perhaps we can all collab on a nice action set-piece.

Thankfully, I wasn't as occupied as I thought I would be, but I think this is the longest I've gone without checking in, and I'm glad to see things really getting off the ground. I have to thank all my faithful players for their awesomeness, you guys have made this game an absolute blast to run! :)

Master of Coin is a safe bet- instead of a Baelish, you have someone who comes from a Kingdom that funds most of your food as well, which is where Willas or Merlin, in his place, would be really good. More I think about it, the latter might be quite nice, so as to give me five differently weighted characters in each direction- a crippled ruler, a small council member, a Loras Tyrell-type, a femme fatale equal in wit and cunning, and a ageing commander. It actually means that instead of interacting with one or two people particularly, I can work with almost everyone that way, I hope!

As an interesting note, Willas and Sansa are probably likely to get on quite nicely, given their past when they were younger.

@MrDidact Sorry the post was a little (a lot) short. Perhaps we should start collaborating.

@kingkonrad Alternatively, if you wanted to play up a Willas/Sansa friendship, Willas could be the Master of Coin while Merlin cuts his teeth as acting lord in Highgarden. That seems to be how it usually works when a Lord becomes a member of the Small Council, his heir takes up duties of Lord of the holding. This is probably done so the more experienced political agents do well in King's Landing while their heir learns how to rule at home. But it is up to you.

@Greenie Nice post, if you want to, feel free to take control of Theon so you can bounce father and daughter off of each other quicker.

@bloonewb No problem, there wasn't too much you could react to but I got a strong sense of William's character. We can definitely collab, feel free to PM your thoughts on how William's arc can proceed. Though I also left the door open for William, Ser Towers, and the Band of Seven to all RP together.

@kingkonrad Great post, that was some real "armor porn" in there haha. Since Dredigan is out for the moment, perhaps I can have Dany, Sansa, and a Lannister or two interact with the Tyrells.
