I'm out of here, due to a difference of opinion with the GM. Peace, yo!
Appearance:
Name: Alexis Shadowborn
Age: 21 ( she looks 21 but as she was merged with the Shadow she stopped aging. She is technically 90 years old )
Gender: Female
Race: Shadowborn ( The Shadowborn are half-human, half-shadow creatures )
Personality: Bi-polar. Can either try to kill someone for the pleasure of doing so or save that person because she just feels like it.
Alignment: Walking the line ( Neutral )
Class: Illusionist-Rogue
Equipment: Two shadow swords that have a small chance to pass through solid matter
Powers: 1. Shadowshift : Alexis is able to change from a human form to a shadow form at will. Making her faster, stronger and more resilient to damage.
2. Phase : In her shadow form, Alexis is able to phase through matter making her "ethereal" ( she cannot attack but she cannot be attacked also )
3. Shadow Illusion : In her shadow form, Alexis can make two copies of herself to confuse attackers. The copies cannot deal damage.
4. Shadow Shift : In her shadow form, Alexis changes shape into a living wall of shadow capable to stop most damage but too much damage put on the wall, will inflict damage on Alexis.
5. (Ultimate Ability) Merge : In her shadow form, Alexis completely disappears and merges with an enemy. She then takes control of the enemy and can kill him using his body. An enemy with strong willpower is harder/impossible to control but even those need to take a few seconds/minutes to fight her off. Alexis is weakened after the merge and can be useless in combat for a few minutes. This is a last stand ability that she doesn't enjoy using.
History: Alexis doesn't know much about her place of birth. She knows she was once a human, like any other. A thief. She long heard rumors about a distant temple that housed the greatest treasures, anyone has seen.
Like many others before her, she tried her luck at stealing the treasures within the temple. No one ever came back and that would raise questions in anyone but Alexis. She was determined that she would be the first to succeed what other failed. After 3 years of constant traveling throughout the lands, searching for the hidden temple...she finally found it but when she finally arrived, she knew something was wrong. There were no guards, no treasure, nothing...except a small ring in the middle of what looked like a sacrificial chamber and a lot of skeletons. Deciding that no matter what, she wouldn't return empty handed home...she touched the ring and that was her final mistake. Shadows emerged from the ring and entered Alexis and she doubled up in pain and screamed for what it seemed like hours and then she fell unconscious.
For two weeks, she stood there on the ground. Not moving, breathing or anything like that but when she did...she knew something was wrong, different. Not longer a human, not a shadow but both. Human and shadow.
Most of her life after that she herself doesn't remember. The shadow taking away her mind while she could barely control her own body. For 60 years, she stood in the temple. Guarding it, as if there was anything valuable inside. After the first 50 years, thieves stopped coming as the rumors of " The Shadow Woman " started spreading as wildfire between thieves and would-be thieves.
After some time she left the temple. Seeing the world, she left behind.
Now, in control of her mind and body, Alexis wanders the lands searching for others like her. Other touched by the Shadows themselves.
The Demon Lord got her attention as The Hero, rose up to fight him. She found this funny, because how can a mere human fight a Demon ? But when the Hero defeated the Demon Lord and took his place, Alexis's smile faded. She knew that the Hero will conquer and destroy her hopes of finding others like herself.
@Cuccoruler How is this ? :)
@Cuccoruler I was thinking of doing a character with a mixed race (Half-Angel, Half-Demon), but I wanted to swing the concept past you first.
His class would be a mix of a Mage or Exorcist and a Ronin
So I was bored, found a thing, inspired me to do a thing that was based on a thing from someone's cs here
I don't really intend to play multiple characters, I just thought it'd be nice to share. Sharing is nice.
Name: Tabris
Age: 324
Gender: Female
Race: Angel
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Class: Angel of Retribution
Equipment/powers: While not as powerful as an angel of war or death might be, Tabris is still a force to be reckoned with, wielding both blade an magic with seemingly limitless stamina and power and with unmatched strength and speed. Armed with a powerful twin-forked spear and often using her wings in combat her relentless strikes often come from a large and unexpected variety of angles, making her an extremely hellacious opponent.
Tabris wears a simple yet highly resilient set of armor and though it does not cover her wings they are remarkably resistant to physical punishment. Her spear amplifies her power and she often throws a duplicate of it made entirely from divine light, though she prefers much closer combat.
History: Though she was among the those looking on from the heavens Tabris' attention was never on the Hero that had been blessed to challenge the Demon Lord. No, she was focused elsewhere, to the town and villages ravaged by the Lord's legions. She appeared to a guardsman as he fled from the remains of his village, She gave him a gift, a slightly weaker replica of her own spear and a small fraction of her power, and commanded him to turn around and destroy the monsters that had been assaulting his home.
She continued to look on as the man became a hero in his own right, not nearly as grand as the Hero of Legend but he protected many small towns and travelers from demon attacks, at least until his defeat at the hands of one of the demons she'd set him against. It was an end Tabris had to have known was coming but she still found it nonetheless infuriating. And so, angered by the death of her champion and the perversion of her gift, she descended for a second time to personally bring her retribution to the demon that slew her Hero.
@Cuccoruler I didn't intend on playing that character
@Cuccoruler I probably didn't gave enough detail or I haven't expressed myself properly.
She is useless in combat for a few minutes ( aka incapacitated ) that doesn't mean she can re-use the ability after those minutes pass.
Nevertheless I added this to the ultimate ability description : " After she uses the ability, she needs to wait a day before she can use it again. "Appearance:

<Snipped quote by Shadow Daedalus>
No, If he has parents that are angel and demon then he must be human. Simply put angel+Demon= Human.
<Snipped quote by Cuccoruler>
That's pretty mundane, but I wasn't expecting anything outlandish like him to walk around as some hybrid all the time.
I'm guessing that the inherent light/Holy power of his Angel parent and darkness/Demonic power of his Demon parent cancel each other out, but do they completely neutralise each other (so he has no alignment to either side) or are they in a state of balance (in which he has both Holy and Demonic powers that he can use separately but not at the same time)?
The latter has more narrative potential, but I understand if the former is simpler.
Name: Kolonis
Generally minus the wings and a slightly more human figure, if only for the sake of… kind of blending in.
Age: Immortal – confirmed year count 4,732
Gender: Adapts a female appearance and goes by “she”.
Race: Demon
Personality: Deceptive, cunning and tactical. Though she has never betrayed the demon lord, she has betrayed almost every other demon she has come across in some way or another, usually for the sake of her master. The result is a reputation for being almost entirely untrustworthy. She cares not of what others believe or think of her, not really; her skillset is such that she is very difficult to trace, even by the demon lord herself, and she puts these skills into use frequently if she is under the impression someone is out for revenge. She is driven by “something more”; she looks for something beyond raw power, though she has told no being what exactly it is she wants.
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Class: Demon Runic Mage
Equipment
Runic Robes: A protective assortment of clothing that is partially intertwined with her skin, soft to the touch and hinting to what many would consider an attractive appearance. These robes give her many of her capabilities. The runes are pure demonic symbols that are nearly invisible in the fabric to human eyes, though they stand out like red beams to those with magical skill if she is not attempting to cloak herself.
Runic Beads: Four arrays of beads that are in fact minor runes, each serving certain purposes and generally left to hang out from the aforementioned robes. Said runes can be utilized as extra appendages, though rarely do they come into use for that purpose.
Orb: A small, swirling black ball that is always in her hands when attempting more complicated spells that are beyond her basic skillset. Suspected of being at least important to gaining her secrets, if not the very foundation of her knowledge, many have tried to steal it from her. However, it never leaves her grasp, and it has never been stolen. Its exact properties besides being a utility for her spells are unknown.
Powers
Illusion: Kolonis is capable of creating and maintaining elaborate illusions, either to the minds of multiple weak individuals or a single stronger one. Those with divine abilities and a high amount of raw magical power can override her spells in this field, as can individuals with strong wills – but only if they catch on to her attempts at the outset, as the best illusions are those most believable.
Runic Spells: Kolonis utilizes an old art of runic magic, a delicate art requiring extensive knowledge and involving more than a little safety risk. As one of the few demons capable of using it, and the only high-profile one to have mastered it, this knowledge has sustained her position through the years. Runewords can be created in blood, and depending on the type of spell, multiple types of blood.
Demonic Nature: As a demon, she has a corrupting influence, a durability far stronger than that of an average human in combat, superior senses/reflexes and some natural control/immunity on the matter of fire. However, she lacks a true demon form.
Dematerialization: Kolonis lacks a true demon form, but makes up for it by being able to turn into a dark blue liquid or other non-solid state. Useful for escaping or transportation (though she’s not much faster than her solid form) but rather pointless when using spells, as they require all portions of her body to be solid.
History: Kolonis was one of the Demon Lord’s early supporters, having joined him nearly 5000 years ago. Presumably, she existed before then, though for how long and what she did is entirely unknown. Bringing with him potent spells and skills in the shadows, Kolonis made herself invaluable from the start and steadily rose to be a silent member of the top leadership, playing a hand in many plots and eliminating an array of potential threats to her master. Her first missions consisted of assassinating and otherwise destabilizing the reigns of higher ranking demons, and as her master grew in power, she slowly rose to deal with problems across the board. Eventually, she led many of the preparations for the overworld. Never one for direct combat if possible, and thus rarely seen on the field – sometimes to the ire of her fellow demon - she nonetheless earned at least the respect of her superiors. Said superiors were few in number by the end. Never has she revealed more than a taste of her secrets, and she says absolutely nothing of her past prior to meeting the demon lord.
Though Kolonis had slain many heroes who may have caused trouble before her master struck the world, she failed to miss the greatest danger of them all. Originally, the hero appeared irrelevant and entirely escaped her notice. Her concern began when the hero began to circumvent, outwit, or entirely destroy her many traps and precautions. Kolonis prepared many specially tuned curses, spells and enemies in combinations that would have been fatal to any hero. Such was not the case; before long, Kolonis had exhausted a formidable supply of attacks and plans to no good effect. Indeed, it seemed that for every one of Kolonis’s failures, the hero became stronger. By the time the demon lord intervened and took personal control of the crisis, it was too late.
Kolonis barely escaped as the strongest demons fell or fled one by one. She took to the shadows once more, without a plan or a master. The organization of the demon lord’s forces fell into total disarray, and she had very little authority to stop it. Some promised loyalty to Kolonis, only to vanish the moment a plan for counterattack was mentioned. Others shunned Kolonis for surviving and not battling to the end, as one of the demon lord’s closest allies. Her reputation was always mixed; now so more than ever, and largely unfavorable towards her.
Name: Tush
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Personality: Tush is arrogant, selfish and disdainful. He has no interest in the common man, or being good and evil. All he wants to do is fight, and kill strong people to prove himself. He is constantly playful, but very analytic, especially about others combat prowess. Currently he is joining the side fighting against the Tyrant, as the murder of everyone would leave him with no strong people to fight.
Allignment: Chaotic Neutral
Class: Unknown class of mage
Equipment/powers: Tush's greatest athletic ability is his senses. He is very quick to notice someones presence nearby and his senses can keep up with the fastest of things, even though his body can't necessarily react to that speed. He has a decent amount of speed and strength. His magic ability is an ancient form of magic that centers around pushing without aid of the phyiscal body. As his only magic, he has trained extensively in this and has become quite good at it. Capable of pushing things in his environment using magic with great power. Although, the push don't do damage on their own, he can even use it to push other magic away. He doesn't wear any armor, but has a dagger and a bag full of caltrops and metal balls.
History: Simply put, Tush is a mass murder. He has no other reason of existing outside of fighting strong people and being challenged. He is constantly on the lookout for someone strong, or someone with potential, so he can fight and kill them when they are the most powerful. He doesn't like murdering people that aren't capable of fighting, so refrains from killing average civilians. Since a young age he trained with a mage to learn his current magic ability. It was a weird relationship as he would challenge him every day and lose, until the mage slipped and got caught by Tush. Giving him his first murder at the age of fourteen.
Starting from then he roamed to find strong people to fight and challenge for the next eleven years. Giving him a giant amount of experience to draw from, despite his unimpressive type of magic on paper. He has so many types of creative utilizations of his simple ability it has been said that he carries the fighting experience of a thousand men. As soon as he heard about the Hero turning evil and planning to kill everyone, he switched up to killing strong people on the side of the Tyrant. Partly because he doesn't wanna die, because he doesn't want all strong people to die, and partly because the strongest person he can imagine fighting is the tyrant. As this has been his current quest, he has been roaming the last two weeks to look for strong people on the side of the Tyrant to fight.
Sorry, can't find another good picture of a black guy but did change a bit more.
@Cuccoruler
uhhh, you sure?
"Currently he is joining the side fighting against the Tyrant, as the murder of everyone would leave him with no strong people to fight."
