@The Grey Dust Grey, gonna save Thomas's ass real fast. On an intellect check Thomas would realize the following... (The following is all information in the IC that is being overlooked currently)

1) Kyra and Keystone were taken to the Chief with Cyneburg - they would be looked at as the leaders, not Ntaj or Thomas

2) Kyra asked Ntaj and Cyneberg to go probably because 1 already was introduced and the other spoke Orc - both being half orc

3) Since Thomas did the least during the fight he would probably realize that no undead got into the cave and the Chief never left it

4) Going outside the wall with that many undead orcs wandering around with just two people is probably a quicker death sentence than Kyra at this point.

5) Letting that spell go off and potentially destroying the wall is removing the only safety barrier the group has at this time and will attract the undead back on them.

6) If that happens, Thomas and Sana are obviously basically out of casting for the day.

Yes, I think he understood 5 at least, not sure of the others. The spell is useable within the hour and can be triggered when he takes injury. So as of now the wall is standing :). I'm not sure if they are going out or not, I thought Ntaj was leaving the camp to go deeper into the cave or something to find the chief? Since there is a wall of ice currently blocking their escape out of the camp into the haunted acre woods.

Hence Thomas is following along (to get away from Kyra/Keystone out of fear and Sana/Satilla out of guilt). Points 1 and 2 also chalked up to Thomas just going along with Ntaj's suggestion, unsure how that would be taken into account.

Maybe he'll suggest Cyneburg to come with? Which would be the only edit I think I'll do. Thanks for the intellect check however. I was rather confused IC'ly myself regarding the actions but assumed the chief was inside, deeper in the cave. Ice wall was not going to be melted, and no one was leaving tonight at least.

@The Grey Dust Well Cyne was already asked by Kyra to go. (Remember these are orcs, don't like humans, doesn't know Thomas, hasn't been introduced by who the Chief believes is the leader, and his people died where none in the group have yet. Why do you think Kyra isn't going herself? Isn't because of Sana, it's cause she knows better right then than to step foot in the cave, LOL)

Hrm. Idk then. I think IC'ly Thomas would just go with Ntaj.
His only approachable friend at this point. He wouldn't want to say "No thanks I think I'll stay here."
It would be sort of rude, and Thomas isn't really in Star Phase, plus he'd hate to turn Ntaj on him too.
I think I'll have to go with whatever consequences happen. Probably not OOC'ly the best course of action, but it is to the character.
I mean I do like his design, but I have to play him as he is, a masterless apprentice trying to make this whole adventuring thing work.
In Sun phase after all he's more rash, so I think he'd try and see that it'll all work out somehow as compared to the more calculating phases of moon and star.

Maybe if the orc guards stop him from entering in the cave probably would work and Thomas would be barred from entry.
Or Maybe they think he's the necromancer or something given the robes and they attempt to kill him for all their dead.
Something like that, either way I accept the outcome of Thomas' perhaps unwise actions ^_^

Ah, you could have Thomas tell Ntaj that the orc chief is still in his cave. IC Ntaj thought the chief left the cave with the rest of his warriors (Seemed like something a chief ought to do anyways). Thomas could just tell Ntaj that, which would make Ntaj realize that would likely be a smarter idea, and no one has to go into the forest. Thomas would still have to stick outside, but he could just, I dunno, watch the perimeter.

@The Grey Dust Yeah, there is no climbing skill on his skills list - as far as rolling for dex and strength to see if he makes it... He pulled a 17 twice (targets were 16 and below for str, 10 and below for dex without negative modifiers) - so yeah, he failed those about as spectacularly as he could without crit failing. That attempt is going to hurt reasonably bad. (Lesson of the day - Mages belong on the ground.)

Okay folks we are close to wrapping up with the Orc Encampment, our next destination will be the village where this all began. Now, here comes the question. Would you all rather us take the three to four day trek and RP it out like we did to get out there or would you rather pull a time skip and get down to business with the village?
