Age: 25 Gender: Male Personality: Elliot strives for adventure, hating monotony with passion. Altought he cares about the crew as if they were their family he prioritizes his survival above all others, since once he is dead he wouldnt be able to explore the world. When a fight breaks out he prefers to stay on the sidelines and leave fighting to the pros, only interfering in the fight when he feels its absolutely necessary to do. He is still learning to use his devil fruit powers and partly laments eating it.
Origin Story: Son of a local doctor on an unknown island, Elliot worked as his assistant as soon as he was able to walk and when he was 22 he handle a few of patients when his father wasn't available. Life was good for Elliot, the people of the island didn't get sick enough to overwhelm both of them, the pay was good and the future was generally bright but the tranquility of his life bored Elliot to no end, every day he did the same thing he did yesterday with the monotony of his life was driving him mad.
His opportunity to escape that kind of life came when the pirate gang “Ignis” came to his island looking for loot and when they did not find enough money were prepared to raze the whole village to the ground. Elliot approached the captain and with all the courage he could muster asked the captain to take him instead of destroying the village offering his qualities as a doctor.
Elliot was accepted reluctantly by the captain which admitted that their previous doctor had died a few battles ago and that no other man in the crew knew how to mend wounds and that is the beginning of Elliot´s pirate life. Many battles were fought aboard the Ignis with Elliot barely participating in them instead he concentrated on patching up injuries and putting their wounded men on fighting condition, little by little his reputation went from dirt to a true member of the crew.
But everything has an end and Elliot learned one fateful night after being with the ignis crew for three years, that night after pillaging a nearby marine base the captain and the rest of the crew came to the ship, with many treasure chests, their incursion on the base was a success and they had enough money to upgrade the ship to something that can withstand the grand line.
All of the crew was celebrating their success when a “BOOM” was heard across the ship. In their celebration they hadn't noticed the marines sneaking upon them or that was what everyone thought a first, with the next idea on everyone's mind was that someone had snitched them to the marines. In the next moment chaos began on the Ignis ship with members of the crew fighting among themselves and more booms were heard in the distance as the marines started getting closer. Not wanting to get executed Elliot grabbed one of the stolen treasure chests and jumped unto the sea, holding the chest as a lifesaver.
He would eventually drift into a desert island where he would open the chest and see that it had a devil fruit inside that he could sell for a good amount of money and restart his pirating career. Sadly the lack of food on the island coupled with his inability to wait made him eat the fruit just three days after arriving on the island, he would be found two days later by the a certain crew where after hitting himself repeatedly in the head for not waiting more, offered his services as a devil fruit user and a medic.
Skills/Abilities: Despite not being officially a medic, Elliot has been the assistant of one from his childhood and worked as one for 3 years specializing on herbology, using local herbs to cure common illnesses like water salt poisoning, infections and sea sickness and identifying poisonous and edible fruits.
Ban-Ban Fruit: It grants him the ability to turn parts of his body into bandages and control them as extra limbs. The bandages can appear from any part of his body making him capable of partially transform parts of himself to avoid attacks. Each bandage has the same strength of one of his arms, which isn't much since Elliot isn't a fighter, but with multiple bandages he can manage to fend himself in case of danger and use multiple limbs in surgeries. A thing to take in mind if the extension, which is inversely proportional to its durability, its current range is 15 m before it breaks.
On the weakness it has the most important is liquids, the bandages will get heavier and more difficult to control, which makes it difficult to fight against enemies with water related powers or in the rain. Another weakness is that it is highly susceptible to fire, it spreads quickly and the only way to stop it would be submerging the bandage in water which would make it useless or cutting it off in which depending on how what part of the body was transformed and how much of it was transformed, cutting it off could be fatal or a mere loss of mass..
Equipment: Jars full or herbs to make remedies to fever, seasickness and salt water poisioning. An stolen surgical knife
Name: Annabelle “Dead Eye” Pond (goes by either Dead Eye, Anna, or Pond)
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Please excuse the staff in the picture, she does not carry around a staff.
Personality: A rather mild mannered person for the most part. She is hard to anger unless the lives of the people she considers friends or family are threatened. She has a tendency to be rather monotone at times, especially when discussing things she has absolutely no interest in, or simply doesn’t like.
Bio: Annabelle was abandoned as a young child by her parents. She has no clue why but she could assume one of two things, either they couldn’t take care of her, or she got in the way of whatever it was that they were doing. She was left on the doorstep of a old Marine captain. As she grew up she slowly began to lose the image of her parents that she had in her head and instead began to invent fantasies about them. Her favorite was that they were pirates and they had left her behind so that they could sail the ocean in search of treasure.
As she grew up she was trained in self defense and how to shot. She had a natural talent for shooting and was quickly able to out shoot many of the men on her adoptive father’s ship. By the age of 16, when the man who raised her finally retied she was one of the best shots anyone had seen. Everyone was convinced she would become a Marine when she became an adult. So nobody expected her to go missing after she turned 18.
She had taken very few things with her. Only a pistol, some ammo, some clothes, and a mask she had purchased at a festival. Though she did also steal a Marine ship by the name of Dawn Seeker, one of the lead ships in her guardian's fleet when he was in his prime. She had left and began going by the name Dead Eye as a hired gun. She stayed in that business until recently, when she decided to join a pirate crew as their sharp shooter. She still uses the name Dead Eye, but the crew knows her full name as well.
Equipment/inventory: Mask, Pistols and, Dagger As well as a well stock supply of ammo at all times. (to the best of her ability) And the

Name: Alphie Ray Stone
Age: 27
Gender: male
Personality: Alphie usually wears a blank expression. It is hard for most people to read his mood or anything about him when he isn’t speaking. When speaking his facial expressions will change just enough for him to be able to convey emotion through his voice. He likes thing to be organized and gets a little uptight when things aren’t where they are supposed to be.
Bio: Alphie was born in a small village on an island he refuses to disclose. He lived a simple life until a group of pirates came and attempted to take over the village, believing it’s people safe guarded a vast treasure, as well as a Millenium Dragon. The villages relief came only when a group of Marines put an end to the pirates rampage. After that Alphie’s dream was to become a Marine.
He left home at the age of 14 in search of a swordsman who was willing to train him. It wasn’t until 2 years later, at the age of 16, that he found someone he believed would train him to be the best. While with his master he also learned a thing or two about cooking. Alpha soon realized that cooking allowed him to relax and also allowed him to practice a bit of knife play on the side. The only time anyone ever sees him smile is when he is cooking.
He joined the Marines at the age of 18, though he was still only proficient in swordsmanship by then. He was however, an excellent cook. Starting off as his ship’s cook as he honed his skills he was in a decent place, though he wanted to be more than just the cook. He trained for several more years, moving up the ranks at a rather steady pace until he finally landed himself a spot just bellow that of a captain.
Name: Blake "Crimson Demon" Hunter Age: 29 Gender: Male
Appearance: The first impression people have of Hunter is his outfit. He wears a Marine Captain's coat dyed red with blood. Under the coat, his outfit is smart but rough. He wears a red dress shirt, with the top buttons undone, with a black waist coat made from some form of leather. Across his torso and waist are holsters for his guns and knives. His trousers are a deep brown, and look to be made of a hearty material. On his feet he wears a pair of black naval boots that come up to his knee. His hair is prematurely grey, and comes down to his shoulder in wild waves, and he has a scruffy doorknocker beard. His frame is above-average in height, with a musculature built from a lifetime of fighting. The origins of Hunter's family is probable the equivalent of Italian, as his features and tanned skin reflect this, though his piercing grey eyes suggest a much more northern heritage.
Personality: The name of "Demon Brawler" doesn't seem to belong to Hunter in his day to day life. A stoic person by nature, he spends most of his time pouring over maps and charts, trying to make sure the crew is on the right track, as his dream is to see the world. When he's focused on a task, he tends to be a bit testy, often firing a pistol at people who try to interrupt him. He is a loyal companion, but takes time to trust due to a constant state of betrayal. Hunter is far more literate than the average pirate, and spends what time he has away from the navigation instruments reading various books he's picked up. When a fight erupts, his namesake becomes apparent. He is a brutal fighter, often ending up drenched in his enemies blood, which is what led to his namesake.
Bio: Not much is known about Hunter before he massacred a Marine Outpost in the middle of South Blue. A base of a hundred people wiped out in a single night, for reasons that Hunter has never disclosed. He was twelve years old at the time. From that point on, the boy moved from one crew to another, constantly being betrayed due to his tantalizingly large bounty on his head. After an escape gone wrong, he ended up at a fishing village where he made a life in anonymity for a time. He was just tired of all the backstabbing both literally and figuratively.
Over the years he built up a connection with the villagers, and even thought of giving up on the sea... but alas fate had other plans. A Marine ship docked for supplies, and Hunter was unfortunate enough to have been in the market for the same reason. The two encountered one another, and the village was caught in the crossfire of their fight. Realizing the village would be in danger as long as he was there, Hunter left, taking the bloodstained coat of the captain to add to his intimation. Eventually, he found a group who he could actually put his trust in, and set off with them for adventure.
Skills: Hunter is an above average marksman and a superior brawler, able to take on multiple foes simultaneously without breaking a sweat. He possesses a knack for reading both the winds, and people's intentions, which has saved him on more than one occasion.
Inventory: On his person Hunter always has four flintlock pistols, as well as two knives for close range combat. He also has a satchel filled with various navigation tools, but he often leaves it on the ship.
Personality: So many deaths have taken place in Abigail's life she can't help but focus on it, existence, and why. The need to prove herself, as well as protect those little lives that never do any harm and can't defend themselves, whom are forgotten as soon as something greater tramples, and continues on not even realizing there's something on its foot. Her relationship with fighting is strange. On the one hand no part of her enjoys experiencing pain and likes inflicting it even less. Then, on the other side of things, every time her fists finds flesh or a rival's attack scratches her skin there's a rush; an arrow of ice and thunder shoots from her tailbone all the way up to the base of her skull. Attacking, being attacked, defending, and being beaten are all proofs that the world hasn't one yet and a part of her is hard enough to continue existing despite an outside force's resistance.
Bio: Abigail spent the first half of her life living comfortably with her parents and seven sisters. The second half was spent pirating with the exact same people after a battle between marines and pirates left her home town destroyed along with everyone one of her friends. The only reason her family was able to survive was due to an old nearby cave nobody else knew about. While they were hiding Abigail's father found a chest with several strange fruit inside. As the fighting was still going on and had been for nearly four days at the time, the family decided to take a chance and each took a bite of a different fruit. The fruits, it would turn out, were devil fruits and was the reason the marines had taken an interest in the island.
Several years passed with the family sailing the seas, attacking the marines when the opportunity presented itself, or trading and doing small jobs for different towns and villages. Sadly, these adventures came to an end thanks to some strong bounty hunters who managed to catch up to the family's ship at night and attack. Abigail wasn't sure exactly how she survived as the last thing she remembered from that night was something hard smashing against the side of her head. The next thing she knew was she was alone, on a large piece of driftwood, heading towards a town.
Skills: Denka-Denka no mien(Charge-charge fruit)-A paramecia type devil fruit that grants its user the ability to manipulate an object's charge (+/0/-) as well as the force behind it. This is done by either direct physical contact with the wielder's body, or with an object whose charge has already been altered. The total area of effect is dependent on how long Abigail is able to maintain contact with an object. If an object 'inherits' a charge the total area of alteration is limited to the physical contact present at time of inheritance. Once a charge has been created a symbol (blue+/ yellow-/ red 0) will appear on the item. Identical charges repel, and opposite charges attract. The '0' charge is neutral and doesn't react with the other two types. When a +/- charge come together all the kinetic energy involved is transferred into the + positive symbol. Abigail is capable of switch the charge of an area that's already been altered. The maximum range of her devil fruit is thirty meters.
Abigail is a proficient at boxing.
Inventory: A heart locket she wears on her neck with a picture of her family.
Personality: Despite his youthful appearance, Jack is older than he looks, and acts. He acts as if he is still in his late teens, always enjoying causing mischief and chaos to those he dislikes or thinks little of. He can also be prone to melancholy and being over dramatic at times, but usually snaps out of it after a short time. He finds cooking for people as equally as enjoyable as fighting people.
Bio: Despite Jack's mannerisms and appearance he is, or rather was, a nobleman. Though he doesn't tell anyone his real name, this doesn't change the fact that at one point he belonged to an extremely powerful family. When he was old enough to walk and talk, his family got the best tutors they could find for him, and he was taught everything a young noble should know. From proper table manners, how to read and write and even how to weild a sword.
But Jack never liked the style of a noble, there were too many rules and restrictions for his taste. At every chance he got he caused mischief around the family estate, from petty vandalism to theft and pickpocketing from staff and visitors. He did however take a liking to being around the kitchen, finding everything from food prep to even cleaning dishes fun.
At age 16 he ran away from home, taking a set of clothes, some food and coin and the family's ancestral swords. Despute the best attempts by the people his family sent after him, he managed to escape them and leave the family home far behind him.
He took jobs as a cook wherever he could find them, and only recently started working on pirateships. He proved invaluable as both the ships chef, and as part of the boarding parties.
Skills: He is excellent at cooking, baking and highly skilled in swordsmanship.
Inventory: Smoking pipe and tobacco, his own katana and tanto blades.
Name: Eddie Borden Gender: Male Age: 25 Appearance: Dark skin, goatee. Keeps his hair closely shaved. Usually wears his goggles on his head, which has swappable lenses. He is on the short side, only 160cm tall, and quite thin.
Bio: Eddie was born and raised in South Blue, on Oxford, an island known for its highly prestigious university. His mother worked as a scholar there, and from a young age, he received a thorough education from her such that he was able to enter the university on a scholarship. He was loyal to his mother, and studied there for the 4 requisite years of his course. However, as soon as his graduated, he told her that he was going to find his father, who had left them years ago. He had spent his four years preparing himself for the journey. He had always been a tinkerer of things, and during the four years, he exploited Oxford University's resources to learn all he could learn about shipbuilding, and had already built himself a small sloop. His father had left in search of the Lost Library, which was supposedly an ancient well of knowledge left by some long gone civilization. Most (including Eddie) believed that it was just a myth, however. Whatever the case, it was in the Grand Line, and Eddie would have to find some way to go there to find his father, even if it meant he would have to become a pirate. At some point in his journey, he came across and ate the gacha gacha fruit, which has proved both a blessing and a curse.
Skills: Gacha gacha Fruit With great exertion of effort, can pop out a 'gacha' from his left hand, which contains a random item that may or may not help with the current situation. The item inside the gacha may be bigger than the gacha itself, and Eddie has seen items ranging from bombs to animated swords to kitchen sinks (literally, just one time). The items disappear at his will, or when he produces another gacha. Usually can muster one gacha every 10 minutes at the most, and maintain enough stamina to still run about and fight. If he pushes himself too much, he may be too tired to move, or even get ill from the exhaustion.
Combat Style: Jack of all trades. He usually just uses whatever his gacha gives him. If it doesn't give him anything useful, he has his trusty flintlock pistol to rely on as a backup.
Personality: He HATES gambling. Generally a serious type; he will tell off children who behave badly. Unfortunately, he is not very good at interacting with children. Often blames his bad luck for poor situations. In actuality, his luck is probably better than average; he is just a bit of a pessimist.
Name: Raphael 'Azrael' Frankenstien Age: 32 Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Raphael is a haunting presence, as he possesses a knack for moving silently, despite being almost 6'7" tall. His voice is raspy, like he's constantly suffering from a cold. Although he has a temper to him, he is among the most honourable members of the Marines, and treasures each member of his crew like his own child.
Bio: His parents wanting him to be a doctor, Raphael joined the Marines as a doctors apprentice. Though he did study the path of medicine, the rigours of the Marines appealed to him far more than the realm of doctors. After 3 years he actually transfered apprenticeships to become a cadet in the Marines. He rose up the ranks in a humdrum way until he reached the rank of lieutenant. During a battle with the Hennar pirates, he was cast overboard by a stray Cannon shot, and ended up on a deserted island with only his wits to survive. On the Isle he came across a strange fruit, that turned out to be the Sõ Sõ no Mi. After he was rescued from the Isle, he used his new devil fruit powers to bring the dastardly crew to justice. All but one...
Skills: Raphael ate the Sõ Sõ no Mi, which turned him into a patchwork man. He can reattach separated body parts, or even replace them with a better one. As well as this, he can produce string from his body that can be used to stitch wounds or slice through opponents. Role in Crew: Marine Captain
Name: Nina Rivers Gender: Female 20 Appearance: Nina stands at 6'0 towering over most woman. Nina has blonde hair and deep blue eyes. Personality: Nina is very hands on neither being a huge fan of reading or writing it's more likely to see her taking something apart. Nina enjoys people watching and has occasionally shadowed people for so long that she's seen wandering off base. The skills Mable has as a tracker was noted so she was assigned under a captain who could keep her in line. Nina is bubbly and inventive almost always tinkering with something of trying to alter her own guns and firing techniques. Nina is at heart a gentle soul preferring not to kill her enemies if possible. In this vain if possible she prefers to avoid and out maneuver her opponents using basic guerrilla tactics when at close range.

Nina fell into a deep depression for a few years before burying herself into the repair business to help her mother. When a pirate raid landed on the base Nina was just ten. Nina watched the base fight them off scared in her room. It was that moment Nina started straining with a rifle and twin pistol. When Nina was old enough she enlisted with the marines always trying to alter her gun to make it more powerful and doing repairs. When she graduated Nina was assigned to her base helping to make the cannons more powerful as well as training the recruits in gun fighting and tracking. After Nina was caught shadowing townsfolk it was decided that Nina needed to prove herself in the field. She was therefore assigned under the capable Captain Frankenstien.
Inventory: Mable carries a Rifle made for long range sniping and mid range shooting, A set of twin pistol with a water dial and wind dial used for enhancing the bullets in an emergency, and her box of tools.
Name: Draco 'Traitor' Winmore Age: 42 Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: Draco is often pissed off, constantly annoyed at the Marines around him. He wishes to be alone but he honours his deal with the Marines. On the off chance you do hear Draco talk, it will often be short and straight to the point. He feels relaxed when at sea, his one true home.
Bio: Draco was born into the life of piracy, his father was a captain to a vicious crew and Draco was often found by his side, the young pirate captain. The crew, as evil as they were, would always protect Draco in battle. By the age of 4, Draco was being taught how to fight hand to hand and with a sword, the mighty crew teaching him skills he couldn’t have dreamed of knowing. On the day of Draco’s 10th birthday, the Captain, his Father, gave him a fruit, a devil fruit. The Moku Moku no Mi, or Smoke Smoke Fruit, Draco was given the ability of smoke, a Logia type. As he was to eat the fruit however, Marines attacked his ship, sneaking up from behind. A battle was started, a short battle, one that left Draco hurt and his family wiped. As he laid there, the sail burning bright and the mast cracking in half, he felt his life rise, saved by someone.
Draco awoke to a warm room, a small candle illuminating the room, as he looked around he noticed his Devil Fruit in a locked, clear glass display case. Draco’s feet hit the ground, softly tip toing across the room, close, closer, as his hand went for the glass, a short sharp knife was pushed against his neck. Draco soon learned that this man saved his life, a vice-admiral named Lucas Ryder. Draco tried to fight back, slightly freeing himself and charging at the man, his hand to hand fighting was quickly cancelled to the powerful opponent. When beaten, Draco broke out into tears, the realisation his father, his family was all about gone. Draco however was stopped when Lucas laid his hands on his shoulder, a safe and warm touch.
A deal was made between the two. Draco was to join the Marines and in 10 years, he may have the Devil Fruit. Draco reluctantly agreed. From this day on, his training was harsher, Lucas focused on his hand to hand and swordsmanship. The crew however, did not feel like family, they felt like enemies to him, the only person who felt like family was Lucas. The crew quickly labelled Draco as ‘Traitor’. This name had two meanings depending if you asked the Marines or the Pirates, Pirates would say because he betrayed his own flesh and blood, and the Marines would say because he is bound to betray the good willed people who took the troubled kid in.
5 months before Draco’s 20th birthday, on a simple recon search, their ship was ambushed by a small fleet of pirates, 3 ships in total. As the opening sound of cannons echoed throughout the sky, the Marine ship took a beating, however was ready for such a fight. The two smaller pirate ships came on both sides of the marine ship, opening fire and trying to board. Draco was atop of the crow’s nest, waiting until it was closer. When both ships were in reach, Draco jumped high into the air, plummeting towards the deck of the ship on the starboard side, his sword drawn, he landed on pirate, his sword through the man’s back. Many pirates came to fight Draco and many pirates fell, his sword dripped of blood as he dashed downwards, entering the armoury and slicing through many more pirates until he got to what he wanted, the gun powder. He moved the powder to the opposite side, away from the Marine ship and set a fuse, it was a short time but enough time for him to swing back over to his ship, the pirate ship exploding, sinking into the depths below. Draco looked for Lucas, his narrowing on Lucas on the other enemy ship fighting the Pirate captain. Draco began to move when he witnessed the sword pierce through Lucas’s stomach. Enraged Draco dashed and jumped across, his sword swinging at the Captain, blocked, swing and repeat. The Captain disarmed Draco, his sword pressed against Draco’s chest, he laughed at Draco. He saw Lucas just one more time, laying across the deck with his life seeping away. Draco grabbed the blade, his hand being sliced open and pulled, dragged by the sword the Captain stumbled towards Draco. Draco’s hand come in hard and fast, his palm connecting with the Captains nose, breaking it upon contact, he followed up with a quick knockout punch. With the Captain taken care of, Draco rushed to Lucas’s aid, but it was clearly too late. As his life faded away, Lucas’s told Draco that now, was the time for him to have his fruit. The third Pirate ship was long gone, and signaled the end of the fight.
Upon return to the Marine base, the Captain was tried and sentenced to death, and Draco was debriefed. Many speculated that Draco had killed Lucas, but to his surprise, the crew quickly jumped to Draco’s aid, backing his statement and even recommending a promotion to Commodore. He wasn't promoted right away however he was kept close by and watched carefully.
Throughout the years, Draco continued to train and was often sent out on supportive roles, helping out ships deal with pirates in quick fashion. He was quickly rising to the occasion, bringing more and more pirates back to be sentenced and once help in the aid of a full pirate assault on the Base. He rose through the ranks, and eventually, those marines who once called him Traitor, quickly grew to respect him. Pirates across the seas however still call him this. Draco has now been promoted to Commodore and has his own ship. He has been tasked to hunt down any pirates he encounters until he is summoned for a more dire issue. Skills: TBA Role in Crew: Waiting for GM to say if Draco can be Vice Admiral
Personality: Gawain is on the surface, a quiet yet polite guy. He holds the door open for strangers, asks how someone's day has been, and avoids causing problems with most people. However, the scars left from his past makes him seldom to get too attached to others. His chivalrous nature is a mere shallow persona of a cold and lonely soul carrying with him the weight of a dream that was not his. Afraid of loss or betrayal, Gawain's loyalty is formed for the sake of honor and service, not by friendship or bonds.
The Sigurd family was one of pride and honor. Since the formation of the world government, the Sigurd family was one of many infamous to serve the celestial dragons as knights. The service of Sigurd family was simple, and had its perks despite its bound subservience to the royal families. Loyalty was rewarded with less cruelty then mere commoners, after all. Sigurd was the only male-born of his parents. Destined to carry the family torch, his father trained him in every shape he could to be a Sigurd Knight. Ideals of Chivalry and honor, how to sport proper armor, and passing down the family's weapon of choice; how to fight with a lance without a horse. The Sigurd family was nothing special to the Celestial Dragons, after all they were just one of many families that served them, however the family did have a secret that they hid in the comfort of their home's basement. At some point, one of the Sigurd ancestors had possessed a devil fruit. Due to a taboo of the fruit being some sort of curse, it is regarded as a strange and secretive treasure. It was feared by his family that the terrible powers within the fruit could drive one mad, and if it were to be discarded, a similar fate would be cast anyway. The fruit was locked in a chest, surveyed by the generations as traditioned.
At the age of 12, nearing his 13th birthday, Gawain was being prepared to take the role of a knight. With an ideology drilled in his head, the pride was overwhelming. At that time however, it was discovered of the family's secret fruit. Punishing the family for safeguarding the powerful devil fruit, they were sentenced to execution. Discovering this, his father in desperation, made the once soon-to-be knight to eat the devil fruit and escape into the sea. A close family friend had prepared a small boat for Gawain to escape him, carrying with him his father's armor and lance.
They didn't get far.
With boat totaled by marine weaponry, it was presumed that the crew had died, either by injury or drowning. This was mostly true, except for Gawain. Miraculously staying afloat on a piece of driftwood, Gawain remained lost at sea for three days. The sea water made him ill and almost immobile due to eating the devil fruit, and death grew closer from hunger at very second. On the third day the conscienceless knight, still clad in armor, was brought to shore by a small town island. There he was recovered, and was raised by a single man named Jack.
Jack was a carefree kind-of guy. He wanted to be a pirate, but he was already middle-age and weak with little experience on the sea. He was once the island's ship builder, but had lost his arm while working on an unfinished boat. He had no combat training, few money to spare for food let alone any weapon or boat, and most other folk there had no similar dream. However that Didn't stop Jack from dreaming. Every day, after fishing and farming on small plots for spare change, Jack would tell Gawain all the fantastic stories he heard out in the oceans beyond. All the wonders and perils of adventure that awaits, how much he wanted to see them. In addition, Jack would teach Gawain how to build ships, as well as assisting him in various other labors for cash.
That dream however, was never reached. 8 years after becoming a father figure to Gawain, Jack suffered a terrible illness. There was no good doctor on the island to treat him, nor was there any time to go to any island that had a doctor. For the next few weeks, Gawain sat by Jack in his death bed. Jack would continue to tell stories to Gawain, some fabricated, others legends and rumors. But all of those stories pointed to the sea, the life of a pirate. Gawain promised Jack he'd carry out that dream for him. Those were the last words they would ever share.
Gawain left the island on a small boat, having built it himself with what Jack had taught him about ship building and bits and parts he either salvaged or bought with what money he had obtained from the inheritance and his own labor.
Draco-Draco Fruit: A Mythical Zoan fruit of powerful potential, Gawain passively has a tough hide and a seemingly undefined resistance to intense heat and fire. He has a good sense of smell with his tongue as another side bonus to his ability, as well as a pair glowing crimson eyes that can pierce the night's darkness. He also has access to some minor fire abilities
Gawain's Draco Draco Fruit allows him to transform into a dragon, however he seems to be able to go into a partial transformation, as attempting to go into a full or half beast form leads him to fail pass out. In his 1/8th form, Gawain's hands become scaled claws, a tail grows from his back, and horns grow on his head. Aside from the oddities, the form only gives him a bit of a strength increase.
Fire abilities: Flame-Breathe (Self explanatory, he breathes fire.) Fire skin (Flames burn off of his skin and/or armor, shrouding him in heat and fire.)
This large lance is an unusual weapon. Unlike typical sword fighters Gawain fights with his lance in a more brutish fashion, varying between thrusts and blunt swings.
Appearance: Capra stands at 6'3, but has a significant slouch, that puts him at about 5'9. He has shoulder length dark brown hair, that he often pulls back into a ponytail, to keep it form getting in his face. He has a dark brown goatee so dark it almost looks black, but no sign of a mustache. His eyes are green, and seem dull at almost all times. His skin is slightly tanned, and his frame is a bit broad, and muscular. His usual outfit consists of a pair of baggy, grey pants. A green long sleeved shirt that has the words "PARTY GUY" written in a large, bold font, and a white coat that hangs from his shoulders. He also wears a pair of black boots, that he has clearly owned for a while from the state of them, and a belt, with a belt buckle that also says, "PARTY GUY"
Half-Zoan Form: Capra grows to seven feet tall, his slouch gets even worse, and his frame grows larger. short grey fur begins to cover most of his body, with wool underneath the grey fur. a very thin coat of white fur grows on his face, he keeps both his hair and his goatee. He grows two small horns. His hands remain mostly the same, but grow larger. His feet become hoof-like, and his legs resemble the hind-legs of a goat, but are still distinctly human. Otherwise, he is mostly unchanged.
Full Zoan Form: Capra becomes a large, bulky mountain goat. Somehow, the clothing on his body stays on him in this form, as does his other belongings. Making it look like someone dressed a goat up. It's not a very flattering look.
Personality: Capra is a very lazy, tired person, evident from his lazy posture, his slouch, and his dull, tired eyes. He's terribly blunt, and honest to a sometimes frustrating degree, and has a bad habit of pointing out people's mistakes. He has a short temper, and a nasty temper at that. He can be thrown into a frenzied rage at the drop of a hat, shouting profanities, throwing large objects at people, and in general just being as violent as possible. He loves fighting, in fact, the heat of battle seems to be the only time he isn't slouching, or acting as though he hasn't slept in a week. In his own words, the only time he feels alive is when he's in the heat of battle. He'll challenge people to fights over stupid reasons, or over nothing at all. Capra isn't a bad guy, though..at least not entirely. He's a respectful person, who tries to act polite, unless angry. And can be pretty friendly..if you get him drunk enough. All of that is not to say that Capra is incapable of feeling other emotions, he is a human. He feels all the different emotions, he's just better at covering them with a layer of sloth.
Capra started off on a small island in the West Blue. The island was just one big port town. Ports everywhere, pirates, sailors, traders, all of them frequented the city. Capra was the son of a local bartender, whom had become an incredibly tough woman, due to being forced to deal with rowdy customers, and pirates for many years. Capra never met his father. He was the result of an affair, and he knew that. But his mother was kind, even if she was very, very stern. Living in a crappy town, and living with a tough as nails mother, Capra was taught self defense at an early age. His first ever lesson amounted to his mother telling him that if an angry man ever tried to assault him, he should hit him as hard as possible in the balls. She was a really great mother. Capra continued to learn self defense from his mother, and began helping out around the bar at 10. That was also when his mother encouraged him to get a hobby. He wanted to impress people, and for people to think he was cool, so of course he started learning how to play a guitar. Unfortunately, it was around this time that things went south. Really south. Really fast. The island was known through the West Blue as neutral territory. Nobody tried to claim or destroy it, because it was a place for everyone. But one up-and-coming crew decided that the best way to gain notoriety was to attack the one island nobody dared to.
And to be fair, it worked. They assaulted the island with cannon fire from out at sea. Destroying ships, houses, and among other things, the bar. Capra and his mother were in the bar when it collapsed, along with many others, including a band of mercenaries who were frequent customers. Some escaped, some didn't. Capra and his mother..were among the unlucky ones. The rubble collapsed on them. Capra's mother violently lobbed Capra out of the way, and was crushed by the rubble soon after. Capra's grief quickly overwhelmed him, and he sat there sobbing, while the pirates raided the town. The pirates quickly found that there was another reason people didn't attack the island. A band of mercenaries, calling themselves The Worst Company, had taken a liking to the island, and were frequent visitors. And they were really, really mad that their favorite bar had just been blown to bits. The resulting battle was gruesome. Swords clashed together, guns rang out, and bones crumpled under the strength of fists. Fires started all across town, and Capra still just sat there in shock.
The mercenaries were winning by a large margin, until one of the pirates took Capra hostage. He threatened the child at gunpoint, and stated that if they tried to attack, he would kill him. The mercenaries liked Capra alright. But they were mercenaries, not marines. They didn't care that much. Capra was smart enough to realize this, and thought back to his mother's advice. And kicked the pirate in the balls as hard as possible. The pirate crumpled, and was then swiftly killed by a bullet to the brain. The battle was over, but the resulting destruction was evident. Capra was furious, terrified, and filled with grief, all at the same time. But all of that turned to confusion when the leader of the mercenaries picked Capra up, and dragged him back to their ship.
Capra's mother was always a respected bartender, but the mercenary group had been rather fond of her. Especially her quick wit, and mean streak, which reminded them of themselves. So, they thought it was only right to make sure her son was safe. Of course, bounty hunters like themselves tended to be bad at keeping people safe, so instead they just made him one of them. He was once again trained in self defense, the mercenaries surprisingly taught him basically what his mother had. And he told them as much, they found that incredibly amusing, gave him a hatchet, and told him to go wild. At age 13 Capra was allowed to hunt pirates alongside them.
The traveled across the seas, West, East, North, South, all of the four blues. They weren't the most infamous bounty hunters, but they were strong enough. Capra didn't mind the killing all that much, it wasn't that the 13 year old enjoyed killing, but after the events three years prior, and the fact that he liked his "family" far more than he liked pirates, he lived with it. He was good enough with a hatchet, and even better at fighting dirty. So he didn't exactly slow the group down. Eventually, the group made the collective decision to head to the grand line. After much preparation, by which I mean they all got as drunk as possible and partied, they set off to reverse mountain. And somehow, they survived.
The grand line was surreal. It was a strange, foreign place, filled with strange people, strange islands, and strange events. Strangest of all were the pirates. They weren't like the pirates in the four blues. These pirates meant business. It was rough on the group, but they made a living hunting rookie pirates who got too bold, and crews that were weaker than most. Eventually, they even went after some bigger fish. Taking down some respectable crews. They kept hunting, and Capra only kept improving, by the time he was 15 he started using lots more hatchets. Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
They were in over their heads, Capra knew it, but they wouldn't listen. This pirate crew was filled with some of the most vile, dangerous men the first half of the grand line had to offer, and they showed no mercy to bounty hunters. Yet still, the leader of The Worst Company had decided they needed to defeat them to make a name for themselves. And so they hunted. After two weeks of following leads, and interrogating other crews into spilling information, they encountered their foes. And were completely wiped out. The pirate crew had stolen a marine warship, and blew the sloop that Capra and his "family" called their own to pieces within minutes. Not only that, but the crew had several fishmen in their ranks. And after the ship was destroyed, the fishmen dove into the water, and began massacring the bounty hunters. After only a few minutes, Capra and the leader were the only two left. The leader was an enigmatic person, he drank and partied with everyone else, but you could tell he was always holding back his emotions, so Capra never considered himself all that close to his boss. But, he soon realized that his boss was practically his father. He never spoke with Capra much, but he was always the one getting him out of danger. If he were to die, at least it would be with his friend, and father figure. The fishmen sped towards the two remaining bounty hunters. And before Capra's eyes, the boss drew his sword, turned to him, and nodded. Capra understood what was going to happen, and he wanted to do nothing less than leave his boss, but if he didn't leave, they'd both die. Capra turned around, and swam for his life. He could never out swim a fishman, no matter how hard he tried. But the boss was holding all three fishmen off with his swordsmanship, even while he was at a disadvantage, and the fishmen were in the water. Capra saw all three fishmen fall as he swam away, and for a moment, he thought his boss was safe, but then, he sunk into the ocean before Capra's eyes. Capra kept swimming, and thankfully, the rest of the crew had lost interest in him, and didn't chase him. Capra kept swimming until exhaustion, and even then, he still kept swimming. Eventually though, he passed out.
Capra woke up days later washed ashore on an uninhabited island. He had trouble even walking from exhaustion, dehydration, and hunger. After several hours of very slow searching, Capra collapsed next to the first edible thing he found. It was a very, very ugly peach. But Capra was too hungry to complain. He ate every bite of the awful tasting thing. He really hoped he wouldn't get food poisoning from it.
It was only after partially recovering from his fatigue that Capra realized he had eaten a devil fruit. He spent the next two hours cursing and panicking. How could he get off the island now that he had no way of swimming!? He waited, and waited. It took two months for a ship to pass by.
The ship that did pick Capra up was owned by an infamous black market broker, whom had intended to sell Capra into slavery before Capra killed two of his best mercenaries without much effort. Instead, he offered Capra a job. Capra really needed the money, and didn't want to fight anymore people when he was in such bad shape, so he accepted. Capra got paid to guard the black market broker, and he got paid to kill for the black market broker. It was really easy money. After awhile, Capra got deeply involved in the black market. He was often hired by the broker's associates, for various odd jobs. Almost all involved hurting people, but Capra was good at that so he didn't complain. I mean he did complain, he liked complaining, but he did the jobs. Sometimes he was hired by one of the most cheerful men he had ever met. An eccentric businessman with too much money and nothing to spend it on. Capra had done such a good job on the last mission the cheerful man sent him on, that he had gifted Capra with a Poleaxe, it was supposedly top of the line when it came to quality, and was implanted with two dials. Capra had to ask several people what dials were, but he was very content with the result. Capra kept doing odd jobs, but the black market began getting more and more taxing, so Capra began accepting less and less jobs. When his contract was finally up for renewal, after ten years of doing this job, Capra couldn't have been more thankful. He politely declined the offer of renewing a contract, but offered to accept a job here and there for the black market. He went off on his own, hunting pirates, getting into fights, but really, he just wandered aimlessly from place to place. He didn't even know that he was infamous in his own right as "The Huntsman" a name given to him during his ten year stay in the company of the black market. Apparently, people feared him, but nobody recognized him, so it didn't really matter. Capra couldn't care less anyway, he just wanted to find something he was passionate about.
Skills: Capra's main ability stems from his devil fruit, the Yagi Yagi no Mi Model: Mountain Goat which allows the user to turn partially, or fully into a mountain goat. Giving Capra enhanced speed and strength, alongside some other abilities. The two most significant abilities being Capra's enhanced leg strength, allowing him to leap high into the air, or leap forward a great distance. And his ability to climb nearly any surface, as long as it isn't a 100% flat vertical surface, there's a good chance Capra can climb it. He can also use his horns, and powerful legs in combat. His wool also lets him withstand colder temperatures than most.
But Capra isn't a one trick pony- err, goat. He is an adept fighter without his devil fruit, he does not have a set style, and instead revolves around a form of combat it's really just bar brawling, but with slightly more finesse and skill. Which which basically means it's just filled with hard to predict cheap shots, and violent blows. Capra also completely disregards his own safety, just to hurt his opponents more.
While Capra's hand-to-hand combat is nothing to sneeze at, it also is nothing extraordinary, which is where his weapon skills come into play. Capra is incredibly adept at wielding his choice of weapon: a Poleaxe. He can cleave through large pieces of stone with this axe, and even cut things larger than the axe's blade itself, similar to how skilled swordsman can cut things in half that are larger than their sword. Capra also uses the spearhead atop the poleaxe to great effect, and even the pole itself is used as a weapon.
his only other notable skill is his talent for music. In his youth, he learned how to play the guitar, almost entirely to impress women. But quickly grew to love music as a whole. He now carries around, and plays a ukulele. Capra can't do much of note with the Ukulele, other than making some pretty nice music. But one effect of his music, is that it tends to pump people up. He can instill excitement, and to a much lesser degree, anger in people.
Inventory: A long poleaxe, about six feet seven inches in height. It's made of a fine, strong wood. With a steel axe blade, and a steel spear head. What makes this poleaxe special, is that it has been modified to include several dials. The modifications are as follows: The axe blade has been forged with a heat dial, allowing the blade to be super-heated, further increasing it's cutting power, and letting it uh, burn things. The user must press a button near the bottom of the staff to activate this feature. The spear head can be detached from the poleaxe, and the bottom is imbued with a breath dial, allowing it to be fired off as a projectile. The user must press a button near the top of the poleaxe to activate this. And while it is fast, and powerful, the user has no way of retrieving it, leaving them at a disadvantage if it misses. He also carries around a ukulele, and a flintlock pistol that he doesn't often use, both are attached to his belt.
Personality: Juliette is a very cheery and sweet girl when she wants to be, but can just as easily be the person who swiped your wallet. She is an excellent liar, and is even better at spotting one. There isn't much that she could miss, as she always seems to be paying close attention to the world around her, and is often picks up on small details fairly easily. Jules isn't one to pick fights willy nilly, but has a strong moral compass thanks to her mother, and will not put up with abuse or disrespect of any kind, especially when directed towards her. She can be quite clever if you give her a chance, and is good at keeping a calm and collected head when even in the direst of situations. In that way, she can sometimes be a bit of an optimist, and is bad at giving up on things.
Bio: Juliette's mother was a dancer living in a fairly large port town somewhere in South Blue when she was born. Although she'd never know her father while growing up, her mother quickly became more than enough parent for the young child. Even if she often found herself in bars, casinos, and other such establishments while her mother worked, she was always well within site of the woman, who was as fierce as mothers come when it came to protecting their child. This often left Juliette to occupying her time by listening to many of the old pirates and sailors chat when they visited the many establishments that her bother worked in. Many of the stories were either dull or gross to the ears of a child, but every once in awhile, she would catch the whisper of stories. Sailors and pirates, explaining the tale of their most recent battle with whoever they decided to attack that day, or of far away islands full of creatures more strange than anything this side of the grand line. More than anything else though, Juliette loved the stories about the thick of battle, and the serious decisions that those men made in order to survive the ordeals. As a child, Juliette found these stories fascinating and inspiring, and soaked them all up like a sponge. Sometimes, she would even scoot a chair up to one of the story-tellers tables and attempt to ask questions-- sometimes they would oblige, happy to indulge the younger generations, others seemed less patient with children. During those interactions, Juliette's mother always seemed to swoop in just in time to pull her away from any dangerous situation.
Eventually, when Juliette turned 14, her mother bought her a bird for her birthday-- a harpy eagle, who her mother had acquired through a deal with one of her more generous patrons. The girl named the bird Silver, and took to training the bird quite serious. It took her a good few months for the two to real bond properly, but after they did, they were near inseparable. Her mother was happy with the friendship, as it meant that her daughter then had a friend to keep her occupied, rather than spending her time pestering pirates for stories. That did nothing to stifle the girls desire for the sea, and the spectacular battles that took place on their waters. Her dreams of setting sail only grew and became more real as she and Silver went from playing pirate together, to actually stealing from real pirates that came to their ports. It wasn't anything impressive, just pick-pocketing and burglarizing ships with Silver. She hid their 'pirate' savings in a thick, burlap sack, tied off with a rope and left in the waters under the docks in port.
She had only just turned 18 when she finally saved enough beri to purchase a sailboat sturdy enough to make it off their island and out of south blue. Her mother had honestly never approved of her daughters desire to become a pirate, so that night, Juliette only left a letter, letting her mother know she would be back someday, with more stories than she could imagine to tell.
Inventory: A small knapsack filled with extra clothes, personal items, a small wallet full of beri, as well as a few rolled up blankets and a small pillow. It all fits well on the back of Silver's saddle.
Silver; a harpy eagle who ate the Size-Size fruit, allowing him to change his size from that of a giant, to as small as a sparrow.
