Name: Amazawa Ren Age: 20 Race: Human Appearance: "Can't you go any faster...?" Abilities: Zilch. He's just an average college student. If it counts for anything, he reads a lot and reads fast, and is quick to notice and react to things at the drop of a hat. Ren can also memorize things relatively quickly, though he often sticks by what he knows best. Equipment: Clothes. A phone. Earbuds. A backpack with books and a laptop. The usual. Personality: Ren's slightly impatient when it comes to doing things, whether that means going somewhere early to meet a friend or handling problems before they become problems (or, occasionally, doing things too quickly and making mistakes he could've overlooked in the process). Though he has long since tempered it down from what it used to be, remnants of that impatience do remain. Though he's not the most physically adept person, he's also not willing to back down if push comes to shove--if necessary, he'll stand his ground (or, rather, dart around) until the job is done. Unlike what this somewhat hotheaded behavior would imply, Ren is smart enough to exploit whatever weaknesses he can or call out friends for their own shortcomings. He's kind of blunt about it on occasion, though, which may grate some peoples' nerves. History: Ren grew up in the suburbs of the city, living a relatively stable life with his parents and grandparents. His early childhood was spent with him buried in books, mainly because of a broken leg following an accident with a speeding bicycle. Once he began to read, he didn't stop--though he did exercise and whatnot whenever necessary, for the most part his time was spent either doing that, listening to music, or playing games. Sliding through high school and into college without much fanfare, Ren's life is probably just another one out of the many who live within the city. Other: Is good at fighting games, rhythm games, and action games (mainly those with good stories, but he can live without).
Abilities: Ayumi is largely unaware of her capabilities as a hanyou. From her perspective, she produces an odd amount of static, especially when agitated. What she is unaware of is an enhanced level of durability and healing, as well as greatly increased speed and mildly increased strength. She can also channel and produce electricity, and she is unharmed by it no matter how powerful the shock. With proper application, her ability to manipulate electricity could result in a great deal of possibilities. Ayumi has also been trained in her family's swordplay by her father. Finally she can kick pretty hard.
Equipment: Ayumi carries mostly what anyone could expect from a schoolgirl. However, as a weapon, she utilizes an heirloom of her family on her mother's side, a katana known as Raigekimaru. A yokai-forged katana, Raigekimaru is nearly unbreakable and has an extremely sharp cutting edge. However, the main feature it has is its ability to tap into Ayumi's electrical abilities, channeling electricity up through its blade and empowering it.
Personality: Ayumi is a highly competitive, energetic girl. Her personality is an aggressive go-getting one, and she is liable to challenge others for relatively frivolous reasons due to her extremely competitive nature. However, she can also be relatively laid-back and friendly towards others and has no issue making friends, even if she can sometimes grow rather annoyed with others for things she sees as foolish or stupid. Ayumi has a strong and enthusiastic sense of justice and a no-nonsense approach towards people she perceives as behaving badly. Unfortunately, this also results in a deeply individualistic mindset: She thinks that she shouldn't get others involved in her problems even if they want to help. She's intensely stubborn about this. In fact, Ayumi's stubbornness is such that she refuses to relent on just about any matter. This contributes to a variety of things, such as how willing she is to challenge others, or how she won't give up in a serious fight no matter how hopeless it might seem. In spite of her stubborn and somewhat tomboyish nature, Ayumi is pretty easily flustered. Also in spite of this nature, Ayumi is fond of decorating her bag and her cell phone in various cute accessories.
History: Ayumi, from a young age, was trained by her father in the Tanikawa family's swordplay, known as the Seven Lightning Strikes style. This is something she took pride in, and being trained in such a manner fueled her combative and competitive streak. Throughout her childhood, she has time and time again taken on bullies and stubbornly refused to back down no matter what the situation, even if it seemed a bit foolish to act in such a way. She has also made a habit of challenging others, especially when it comes to kendo. Indeed, Ayumi is fantastic at kendo. However, she has noticed, more and more, that she has been causing static shocks with increasing frequency, especially when annoyed.
Abilities: Kotomi has absolutely no abilities that could be considered out of the ordinary in any respect. She is an absolutely normal girl, who is even considered below average in all physical categories. However, she is very intelligent, and very skilled with technology.
Equipment: Kotomi is never without her phone, on which she has numerous applications. The latest of this is a fun little game called Yoma Collection. Kotomi's a little sad it's flown under the radar, though she can't find it in the store any longer strangely enough. Still, it's a fun little game about collecting a fighting force of demons and yokai. Little does she know there's quite a bit more to the game then it appears, and in fact its appearance as a game is rather deceptive...
Personality: Kotomi is a shy, yet very sweet-natured and friendly girl. In spite of her shyness, she is also somewhat energetic, especially around her friends. However, it's undeniable that she's also quite easily flustered and embarrassed, and she's exceptionally easy to tease. Sometimes she attempts to turn this around on others, but just how successful this is varies and usually fails. Kotomi is also very polite to others, always using proper honorifics even with her close friends. When she becomes exceptionally excited, she also becomes rather airheaded and forgets what she's doing in favor of focusing on what made her so excited in the first place. In spite of this, she's very intelligent, simply a little ditzy when very excited. Kotomi is very fond of sweets, such as ice cream, crepes, and different types of cakes. Her fondness of these extends both to taste and to how pretty some cakes can be decorated. The appearance can make her eyes shine just as much as the flavor.
History: Kotomi was born as a younger sibling, to a fairly average family. Aside from her deep affinity for technology, nothing extraordinary has occurred in her life, at least, not yet. But she recently found a fun little phone game...
Abilities: As an oni, she is naturally strong, resilient and durable. But most importantly, she is able to consume food and alcohol as much as she wants, thus she uses her natural abilities mostly to get shitfaced in some bar or other.
Equipment: A kanabo made entirely out of steel, and a gourd containing a worm that produces infinite sake.
Personality: There was nothing she liked better than to drink and eat, the more the better. The only thing she liked better than that was fine food and drink, and drinking and eating with company. Affable most of the time, cheerful and overly friendly when consuming a lot of alcohol, but she turns sad and depressed when the alcohol runs out. Her word are her bond, and if she promises to do something, then come hell or high water that something will be done. Yagra absolutely despises dishonest people, being sober, tricksters, and dishonest people.
History: She had lived there for as long as she could remember. What she could remember from her constant drunken haze anyways. As an oni, she was always the one who went for a job, drink and eat as long as she could on the pay, then look for another job. There were dear friends once, but when all of them had passed her by and went on into another life, her sake started to taste bland, the nights of feasting lonely. Feeling that it would be bad if she were to stay any longer there wallowing in sorrow, she packed up what she needed and walked away. Yagra stumbled upon Yazoraku City, and never left it since.
Other: She is oddly proficient at doing any job she is currently on even while drunk. Even while drunk to the point of wearing her clothes backwards, it didn't change the fact that she will get it done. Yagra also tends to forget her strength, or assume others are as strong as she was.
Race: "Okuri Okami" but just typically calls himself an "Okami"
Appearance: Kenji has fluffy, snow white hair which places him among the oddities as he has been born this way. His eyes are of yellow color and one is hidden by an eyepatch because of an injury he has sustained in the years of him living. A diagonal scar runs across his eyes rendering that eye blind and thus, it is only a blurred shade of yellow.
Abilities:
Shapeshifting: Like other animal-themed yokai, he has the ability to turn into a human, though would sometimes mess with people by retaining animal ears and his tail.
Stealth - "the wolf can hide even where there is only a single reed" - Yanagita Kunio Though it is an exaggeration, an okami is pretty good in hiding their presence and remain unseen, especially if in his wolf form.
Heightened Senses and overall physical ability
"Symbol Art" - Though no name has been given yet, this is just what he calls it. With a special kind of brush pen, he can write a symbol in the air that corresponds to what he wants to do and it appears. The symbols he has learned and continually uses are the following (I would think that he would be able to come up with more symbols as the RP goes on but here's what he has so far):
Fire - Creates a fireball that hurtles towards the enemy.
Water - A healing spell that closes wounds to stop bleeding and completely heals small scratches and bruises.
Barrier - Creates a shield in front of him to stop attacks from hitting him
Equipment: He carries a Celestial Brush Pen which he uses for his symbol art. It always seems to come back to him even when he loses it.
Personality: Kenji is a nice enough man and holds the wisdom that comes with old age. He lets out a calm and mature aura and also exudes an air of protectiveness to those who need it and an air of dread to those who are evil - a trait that he has gotten from being an okami. He appreciates good company and it doesn't hurt him to drink every now and then. Though he enjoys watching how fast mankind evolves, he is quite disappointed that they forgot about what their history is.
History: Kenji had originally lived in another place - a forest near a remote village in Kyoto. Ever since he was a child, he had been doing his job as an okami, guiding travelers in the mountains when they didn't feel like they're bad. There were some people who would leave food for him but a lot of humans did not. This did not anger the young okami, not yet at least, as he understood that times had changed. The stories that his father would tell him was from an age long past. As the years went by and less travelers frequented the forest, he decided to leave the forest and travel. He learned more about the humans and then settled in Yuzoraku City where he found an old Amaterasu shrine - a branch of the main one in Ise - which is still functioning. He has lived in Yuzoraku City ever since then.
Other: He lives in an Amaterasu shrine and works there as a helper. He has two pet sparrows (Yosuzume yokai) that always accompany him.
Appearance: Among humans, Yachi is otherwordly in her beauty: fair skin and eyes like sapphires earn her a double take. Her pupils are reminiscent of that of a cat. Among youkai, she looks rather human: shorter than most women with long, unkempt hair. She's thin and small. Her clothing of choices tends to be dark in color and high up on her legs. Her natural form is that of a small cat, fur white like snow and eyes just as they are when she's human.
Abilities:
- Shape shifting. Her natural form is that of a small white cat, but she can take on human or other feline forms as well. Her eyes are always that clear blue, however. - Athleticism. As a cat first, Yachi is very nimble and well coordinated. She's not particularly strong, but she's stealthy and fast. - Sharp senses. Yachi can see better than most at night and has heightened hearing and smell, much like a cat.
Equipment: N/A
Personality: Yachi is relatively young and optimistic, seeing the good in the world around her despite the betrayal she felt in the past. She is aware of her idealism, however, and hides behind a hard layer of cautiousness when dealing with strangers. This can manifest in a number ways, including sarcasm and blatant rudeness. Past that, she has a good sense of humor and can be surprisingly light hearted. At work or in a professional environment, she's almost overly cheerful and accommodating.
History: Yachi was born into the world as a house cat in winter, the runt of the litter. She was given the name Sora for her blue eyes against her white, white fur. She was treated well by her owners and lived a long life under them as a cat. It was as she grew into old age for a cat that she started to change from normal animal to supernatural being, a youkai. Then a catalyst occurred, pushing her transformation further. There was a home invasion by a few thugs on her owners' while the family was home. Needless violence ensued, but Sora was able to protect them: she grew many times larger--rivaling a tiger in size--and attacked the assailants. While she was successful in protecting her human companions, they were terrified of her even as she returned to her normal form of a runt. Sora was abandoned by them, but her transition into youkai was complete: she took human form and now walks among humans. She's mostly ignorant of the "other" world due to her young age as a youkai, but she's curious and open to learn.
Abilities: Sven’s main ability is to remove his own head. Though being a dullahan he has multiple other abilities that go with the head removal. When the head is removed a flame will come out of his neck as a sort of signal that allows him to control his body.
The other power that Sven has though is seen as a bit disgusting and strange is to take out a sort of ethereal spine from his own body. This weapon however can only be drawn when his head is removed. This spine elongates and changes its form to look and act as a whip.
This spine can also take the form of a scythe when he uses his own flame to imbue it with a blade.
Equipment: Sven for the most part carries around a switch blade which he normally uses for opening boxes and such for his store. He also carries with him a cellphone and owns a hot rod custom made low rider motor cycle. If he is near his shop however he will use his butchers knife if given the chance.
Personality: Sven has an overly friendly personality when it comes to meeting people. He greets others with a big smile and sometimes a hug. Sven also has a problem with using puns about being headless. He knows they make others cringe but that is the fun part about the puns to him.
History: Sven was born to a long line of proud dullahans in Germany though they all originated from Ireland. For the most part he grew up learning the ways of a knight as many of his ancestors had served as knights before him. For the most part he enjoyed learning how to use his families weapons. Though a lot of them preferred swords, Sven found more joy in using a whip and scythe instead.
He had a falling out with his family over this recently though and has since left his home to go on a sort of journey. Sven has since found that he has a passion for being a butcher and making of all things, wurst. Sven had moved to Japan after seeing a lack of quality wurst in the country as part of his mission to spread the joys of wurst to the world.
Other: Sven owns a butcher shop known as “Sven’s Wurst” and has been well known for his quality meats and wurst. He sells fish too though he tries to keep it separate from the rest of his meat. Sven also has the chance to lose his head when laughing too hard.
Name: Donald O'Rourke Age: 68 Race: Human Appearance:
Abilities: About as normal as you could get as a human. Donald is, perhaps, more intelligent than most and has a flexible mind where problem solving is concerned. Equipment: A pistol might be found in his pocket, if someone were inclined to look. Personality: Affable and good natured with a very eccentric personality that varies wildly from taking things seriously to a casual disregard for anything and everything. His tastes are somewhat eclectic. When serious he is single minded in his determination, devoting all of his resources towards whatever goal has captured his attention. History: To most outsiders, Donald is a friendly gentleman, free with advice and aid. To many, especially business owners around Yuzoraku he is also the main contact and troubleshooter for the nebulous crime lord known as the The Watcher. Donald, like The Watcher believe that the key to good business is peace and stability. Neighborhoods under his control are the safest places in the city unless you happen to be a threat to that peace. They are patrolled by his men, the 'Neighborhood Watch'.
That's not to say that his dealings are totally legal and for the greater good. The Watcher has many interests, both in and outside of the law. These, as much as is possible, do not intrude upon the lives of anyone not involved with them. Like Emperor Kangxi of China, who also believed that prosperity laid in stability, The Watcher desired a closer view on his dealings without the influence that his appearing in person would have. And this is where the friendly Donald O'Rourke comes in, being the true name and face of The Watcher. With the amount of information he has regarding the goings on in his neighborhood it is perhaps inevitable that he is aware of the existence of the supernatural. The area controlled by The Watch consists of groups of city blocks marked with graffiti in the allyways, outside of the center of the city. Curiously, these also contain most of the better places to eat in the city. Other: Where a kind word or illegally obtained firearms fail to do the trick Donald has access to Gerard and Hsien, like minded individuals from The Watch, though much younger and much more fit than himself.
Shapeshift - Morphs to a humanoid form and back to fox form. Rumi attains her current physical being through this ability, though she can imitate other bodies as well. However, her tails and ears cannot be hidden except in her "original" human body. Since it cannot adequately frame other people yet, and since she does not yet have the nerve for routine malice, Rumi commonly uses this to tease or seduce her victims and break their minds into submission.
Illusion - Rumi Amano's most adept skill is the ability to deceive senses. From here, the kitsune has the ability to conjure false walls and imitation objects as an illusionist would, but perhaps her favorite is fake armies. Rumi can summon her so-called "Imaginary Squad", a platoon of a maximum of ten ninjas, samurai, oni, herselves, or any other dangerous people she can think of that pursue and battle against her targets and even inflict fake wounds, albeit painless. In the end, her victims are actually just fine while fighting against absolutely nothing at all.
It is easy to see through her illusions, if you either have a good sense of smell or a good sense of detection.
Agility - Rumi has quite the speed and dexterity to boot such that a simple dagger can normally suffice in one-on-one combat.
Equipment
Hoshi no tama - Rumi's Hoshi no tama sphere, often pinned to her clothing, holds at least 50% of her power and serves as a weakness of some sorts. It takes a day or two to repair itself, and successfully taking hold of the ball will earn one her gratitude and submission should they choose to return it. If they choose to destroy it rather, they will earn her ire.
Mask - A full-faced mask, almost featureless except for the eye holes and the eerie carved smile. This might serve a purpose in concealing her identity, but she mainly wears it simply because she doesn't like showing her face too often. Dons it almost all the time.
Dagger - A simple instrument of stabbing. Might really be her only way of killing people at the moment. However, she is adept enough at using it adeptly with agility and finesse. Do not underestimate her.
Personality:
Rumi Amano is, what you'd exactly expect from a nogitsune, mischievous. While not (yet) as malicious as her elders, the girl has an occasional interest in messing around with people and pissing them off at random.
When not playing with people, she is otherwise Yuzoraku's resident kooky wise old sage, at least for the most part. Rumi has the intelligence of a polymath and the senility of a hag, but the latter is also a pretense. Though somewhat a playful goof most of the time, Rumi is able to take matters seriously when she deems it concerning enough to her personal matters. She can be very appreciative of actions done for her benefit, and is willing to do whatever it takes to repay her debt. She can also be obliged to provide her own wisdom whenever asked to, unless she sees that person unfit to receive so.
History:
Rumi has always been a loyal native of Yuzoraku since the beginning, where she had first lived as a simple, ordinary roaming fox that had lived a full life being a housepet of various people, including a few youkai. Spending some time in their presence had enabled Rumi to ascend to fox spirithood. From then on, the foxgirl had pretty much wasted her time on various mischievous activities: childish pranks at first, and then eventually spiteful tricks and pretenses, though she is not without a few comrades and acquaintances that recognize her intellect.
Just a little recently, Rumi acquired her third tail. What power would accompany this, she has yet to find out.
Other:
Makes a living off swindling from townsfolk and swiping from homes.
She likes alcohol, but prefers not to drink it in the company of oni out of caution against being pressured into excessive drunkenness.
Name: Ueno Aya Age: 17 years Race: Karasu Tengu Appearance:
Height: 166 cm | Weight: 56 kg
Abilities: All tengu are born martial arts masters, in fact their race is attributed to the foundations of ninjutsu, among many others. Tengu have superhuman agility and senses, which are sharpened by age, but even the youngest tengu are as skilled as a human with twice, or more, their age.
Tengu are also, like many other youkai, masters of subterfuge and trickery, they can imitate nearly any sound, including human voices, that they ever heard, shapeshift into ravens or a fully human disguise and hide their presence up until the moment they decide to attack. These abilities allow tengu to effectively haunt and deceive anyone who trespasses at their mountain homes.
Lastly, but not least, tengu are also known for their power to manipulate the wind, the strongest and oldest are powerful enough to summon catastrophic storms out of the blue, which is often used to explain the fickleness of the weather on high mountains. However, a young one such as Aya can only create a strong breeze
Equipment: A pair of shirasaya katana (she usually carries them in a kendo bag, disguised as training swords), a folding fan, a smartphone, a small laptop, a handheld console, a very treasured jacket and a few personal belongings.
Personality: Aya, befitting her heritage, if very curious and playful. She also has a bit of a hoarder nature, especially if the target of her attraction are shiny objects, regardless of their value. Likewise, Aya is a big fan of fast things, like motorcycles, but she's not particularly into cars, because they lack the feeling of "being one with the wind." Lastly, she has a big interest on the internet and computers and gaming in general, including things like programing and design.
History: Being a very young member of her race, born on the modern world, Aya's story isn't specially grand or full of unexpected turns. The most interesting bits generally lie on her school life misadventures, like how she struggled to keep her wings hidden during kindergarten, eventually littering places with raven feathers that no one knew where they came from. Or, how she fell in love with the internet as soon as she got her first feature phone.
Probably the most memorable episode of her life up to this point was the time when she got involved with a teenager "biker gang", the jacket she treasure's so much is a gift she got from the gang's leader. Sad circumstances led the gang to be disbanded after a time, but Aya still keeps fond memories of that time.
Name: Takeshi Tachibana Age: 17 Race: Human Appearance:
Abilities: Physically speaking he is a normal human in all senses of the word. His hobby of exploring abandoned places has made him more aware of small details like holes in which he could get through or signs of someone having been there recently, it has also made him a great runner as he had to run away from the occasional guard patrolling the area or a hobo mistake him for a thief.
Equipment: A video camera and a lantern
Personality: Fear and shame doesn't exist in Takeshi's vocabulary, as he is ready to go to extreme lengths to accomplish his objectives. He tends to overthink simple situations and makes complicated plans and theories of it. Takeshi has the problem of being too honest on what he is doing, which has caused him to be chased out of many shops and abandoned buildings when he told the owner or guards he was looking for ghosts.
History: Since he supposedly saw the ghost of his great grandfather when he was five years old Takeshi took an interest to the supernatural, at first asking his mother to tell him the ghost stories his grandmother used to tell her do that she behaved, then he started searching for them, on his backyard, on his way to school, his grandmother house, inside his parents car, etc. Finding nothing Takeshi thought that maybe the problem was not if he was searching enough but instead where he was looking, maybe youkai were afraid of people and lived in places far away from them?.
While the idea had some weight on his might his age at the moment (14 years old) meant that even trying to explore the forest alone to “look for youkai” would be met with an instant no from his mother much less would she let him explore one of the old buildings in there . Little by little he went expanding his limits on his curfew, joining the track and field club at school to not get tired after five minutes of running, saved his money to buy a lantern, batteries and a cheap video camera, and decided to go explore the old school building, since it was the nearest to his school (for obvious reasons) and no one bothered about putting locks on it, since there was nothing of value there.
After a year of planning Takeshi went to explore the old school building, having a good three hours before his mom would begin to question where he was; entering through the front door after checking no one was looking, Takeshi began his search. Using the night vision of the videocamera and the lantern Takeshi searched for any supernatural creature that could be there. The search for any tsukumogami was a fruitless as there wasn't much that wasn't starting it rot, the supposed piano that played by itself had more than half of it's keys broken or missing so unless there was a ghostly piano hiding somewhere in there there was no way that piano could play by itself or with someone, lastly saying “Sadako-chan come here” three times in the girl bathroom of the second floor only created awkward silence.
All in all the expedition proved to be a massive disappointment, ready to admit defeat and return home, Takeshi ran to the stairs leading to the first floor. Unluckily for him, the old wooden floor couldn't resist more weight and collapsed where he had stepped in. Grabbing the edge of where the floor had collapsed, Takeshi began to wonder how was he going to get out of this without any major injuries, his nails were already bleeding from the force he was using to keep him from falling, and they were already starting to give up.
As soon as he knew he couldn't resist more, Takeshi closed his eyes and let go, hoping that somebody would notice he was there. As his hands gave up and released their grip on the edge, something grabbed them pulling Takeshi back into the second floor without much trouble. Takeshi to this day what saves him that day as he didn't saw it that day or the many others that he went there. While some people would be discouraged from exploring again after that, it brought the opposite emotion on him, after all of that encounter made him meet a ghost for a second time so he was heading in the right direction, though now he is more careful of where he steps on since there won't always be a ghost to save you.
Enhanced speed and agility - Unnaturally flexible and agile body, the ability to jump much higher and faster than a normal human, coupled with his experience on parkour made Shou an extremely hard person to catch and find.
Poisons and Medicines - His nature as a Gyokuto gives him great knowledge about natural herbs, remedies and poisons.
Instinctive Fighting Style - His experience with Parkour and acrobatics gave him a unique fighting style, based on using his agility, speed and his surroundings to his favor. Its much more an instinctive thing than an actual martial art.
Poisonous Touch - Able to inject both poisons and medicines on others by direct touch (Both his skin or weapons. Need to actually pierce the skin to do it successfully.)
Equipment:
Regular rope dart. Made of a very strong rope and metal, he uses it both as a weapon, to wound or grapple, and to move it around by using it as a grappling hook
A single yellow knuckleduster/dagger he uses both as a weapon and as something to help him to climb walls & etc.
Personality: Shou is a happy, playful guy with a terribly bad case of being unable to sit still for too long when awake. He is almost never quiet, be it walking around, running, climbing somewhere high. Ironically enough, he loves to sleep and relax (usually in ridiculous places, such as rooftops, or in other stupid places where others cant reach by just walking normally.) Its easy to know what Shou is doing at any given time: or he is sleeping, hanging around with friends or not being capable of sitting still for even 5 minutes. Sho is an unexpectedly kind guy, and will often go out of his way to help someone in need. He has a deep sense of honor and what is right and wrong. He refuses to do anything that could cause harm to other people. Due to his connection with the wilderness as a Gyokuto, he feels deeply in peace and relaxed while on a mountain or forest.
History: Born in a long lineage of herbal healers, his family was always connected with the nature, living near mountains and even making medicines to earn their life. Sho grew accustomed to differentiate poisonous herbs from medicinal ones, brewing both poisons and medicines, making teas and everything concerning herbs. Even for his family though, he was always unusually good with those things, almost like he was born knowing every medicine and poison existent. He hated being trapped the entire day doing remedies, so he often passed most of his time on the streets, be using his unusually agile body to jump around or meeting with other people, making friends, fighting, helping other people who he saw that needed him, or getting problems with the local authorities due to him "jumping around" or "disturbing the peace". Thanks to the fact that he always helped everyone and that he never did anything out of malice, he has never gotten in bigger problems with the law.
When Shou discovered the Parkour, when he was walking around the city one day, everything changed. He knew that it was perfect for him, both physically and mentally. The sensation of being free, the speed, jumping around and feeling the wind on his skin was almost like flying. Dedicating a good portion of his time in training Parkour, he quickly mastered it, thanks to his unique physical. Being able to spend his energy made him able to control his hyperactivity, giving him more time to relax and continue doing that what his family was always his family's job: making herbal medicines and poisons. Not only that, but being able to concentrate himself on doing those things, he was able to dedicate himself even more. Starting to use both a dagger and a rope dart to get in even higher and difficult places, to satiate his need for adrenalin.
It was on one of those days which he met Sven. As he tried to jump over a gap between two close buildings, he failed to grab the other ledge, falling just in front of Sven's butchery, who immediately helped him, even not knowing who he was. After that, Sho felt that he needed to repay Sven's kindness in some way, that was when Sven proposed for Sho to help him with the butchery, by making deliveries, using his herbal knowledge to help with meat seasoning and helping around the Shop.
