The heavy footfalls of Ira's boots upon the wet grass became more pronounced and deeper with its noise. Eyes shifting about behind her mask, Ira could sense that something had happened to the area around them. That much was evident by Alexi raising her weapon for battle. "Perhaps you will serve well to entertain me after all soldier," the masked woman said, slowly drawing out her own blade. Judging from how Alexi was still standing despite the red-hued blade being unleashed, it was a good sign Ira was taking this seriously. "Tell me, do you know who I am Knight of Winter? A simple curiosity I would like answered before this is over," Ira said, crouching into her own stance. An overhanded strike obviously meant a cut from the side and Ira bent her legs, her blade held outwards toward her as time slowed all around.

Alexi's eyes unfocused for a moment at the question, her head tilting to the side and her stance swaying for a moment. "Mmm... The whispers... They say you are ravenous black fire, hungry beyond death." And then she refocused once more. Her stance stayed the same. Poised for an utterly predictable overhand strike, a powerful downward slash, or perhaps that was a feint for the possibility of a sideways slash, but with less power and efficiency from the starting position. The air around her started to freeze and shimmer, not ice in true, but crystalized time. "I am ready. Are you, Ravenous Flame?" Apparently her power, whatever she was doing to her personal time, had reached it's maximum charge.

"A ravenous flame....yes, I suppose that is an apt description for me," Ira said with a hint of a chuckle in her voice. "I'd ask what exactly it is you're doing to this area around us, but where's the fun in that? A warrior should be expected to tackle all threats, visible and invisible. Come at me then soldier," Ira said. Her legs crouched down to store up the energy to pounce and a crackling surge of red made her own blade go. A duel between swordswomen could be enjoyed in no other way.

Alexi's eyes opened wide, and with one moment, the ice around her shattered, and all resumed to what it should be. All the power she had stored unleashed in one strike and the maximum speed of the world returning to normal.

A warrior of their caliber could move astonishingly fast and strike exceedingly hard. A normal soldier's eyes couldn't track their movement, the acceleration created by a single step too swift. Armor and walls were like illusions tearing away from the breeze of a sword slice's passing. How many times in a single second could a warrior of their caliber strike? Many, many times. But if all that power of a thousand sword swings was gathered into one single strike, all those hundred steps off the ground combined into one, the power was staggering even to a warrior of their caliber. Where Alexi had been close to the maximum speed of the world before, because the speed of the world had been lowered, now she was near it because a hundred superhuman steps had been combined into one, and the island cracked in half from its might. The air could not get out of the way of the Knight of Winter fast enough, flames and plasma enshrouding her form in explosion as she struck. If Ira was not there to take the blow of Alexi's downward strike, or even if she parried it, the strike's force would again crack the island, this time perpendicular to the crack caused by her hundred steps as one. Alexi had learned a technique to force her speed and strength to their utmost limits for one strike, if given time to charge. But ultimately, it was still only plain speed and strength, in insane magnitude, but only the normal forces.

Indeed, the blow was at such a speed that even Ira's eyes could not keep track. Because when the world suddenly returned to normal, when the world suddenly moved faster than it was supposed to, Ira realized just what had happened. Unfortunately it was too little too late, her solitary reaction to the overhanded swing being a slight widening of her crimson pupils. Oh yes, she knew very well the attack that was coming, but the question was whether she could act the part in time. Her body moved on instinct, hands bringing her blade upwards to parry, block, whatever she could do in this scenario. The result was an audible crack in the air and the force of a thousand slashes piled against Ira.

"Grrhnnn!" Hell's Queen said, forced onto one knee as the earth all around them shattered into collateral damage. In the end, she had managed to block the overwhelming blow though one arm was bleeding and forced down her side, Ira's other arm holding her blade. Sparks flew as Alexi's sword continued to grind into Ira's own weapon and with a crack to match sound of destruction all around them, Ira's mask split in half to reveal her visage. Blood trickled down her face and even now she was still being forced deeper downards from the pressure under Alexi's swing. "Tell me, grhnn, soldier. Were you planning on relying this battle on that one tactic?"

The pressure on Ira's blade suddenly lifted, and Alexi's Oathblade started slipping off and to the side, no force but gravity guiding its course. Alexi's shattered arms fell to her side, and broken legs struggled to maintain their footing, and failed, Alexi falling to one knee. For every action, there was a reaction, and to surpass her own limits with Avalanche Strike and Frostborne Steps so far had natural backlash. Her body simply wasn't designed to withstand such speeds, much of her clothes scorched to ash and skin peeled away by the very air. And the pressure of the blades had struck against her arms as though she herself had been the target. Now that all the stored power was used up in one overwhelming strike, there was little strength left in Alexi's body. "Is that sufficient for an answer, Ravenous Flame?" Alexi managed between ragged breaths between burned lips. Blood trickled now from between them, but Alexi smiled, as small ice shards started forming in a circle around them, to strike inward as one. In truth, it was a pathetic attack, one a mortal wizard might acquire with a year or two of training. A mere gun would have more power behind it than such an attack. But though her body was broken, Alexi would continue fighting with what power she had left, even if at this point, it was mostly symbolic, unlikely to deal any harm against a warrior of Ira's caliber.

"It was," was Ira's simple reply, the end of her blade meeting with Alexi's chest. Hell's Queen stood up on shaky legs, one arm still in function and pressing her blade deep into her opponent. "I shall remember your name, Knight of Winter. As you should burn mine into your own memory. Ira, the Queen of Hell," the Demon stated before lifting her blade away and out of the human's corpse. "Do not think I was unaware of you. Did you enjoy the show little Angel?" she said with a slow rising smirk, Ira turning her crimson-eyed gaze to place on Syphax.

Zak

Pushing his way through the bushes and low hanging branches, Zak continued to grumble incoherently to himself as he aimlessly trotted ahead, his eyes searching even though he had no real destination. He scratched at his wrist as the small red tattoo began to itch. Suddenly, a feminine voice called out to the wandering angel, catching him somewhat off guard as his eyes darted around to find the speaker. Finally, Zak turned, his gaze looking up to meet the eyes of the mysterious mismatched girl Harley. He stared at her for a moment before relaxing a bit. "Fer cryin' out loud...ye sure do 'ave a knack fer poppin out o' nowhere don't ye Checkers?"

Zak leaned against the gnarled trunk of the closest tree, gazing up at the battle that ensued in the skies. He could see the many different warriors of each faction engaged in combat or positioning themselves to do so. "Listen Lass, Ah've been 'ere fer a grand total o' thirty seconds. So quit yer naggin. Plus Ah 'aven't made landfall in quite some time. Aimin is a tad off." He absently rubbed at his lower back, massaging away some of the rust of inactivity. "Not that Ah knew what to be aimin' at. This place is a bloody scramble. Ah nearly took m'head off on a flyin' island comin' in." With a free hand, Zak made several hand gestures towards the floating land masses above. One of which was still in flames from his near miss.

The booming explosions from missiles and energy beams rang out from all around. Zak could feel the ground rumble slightly beneath his feat from the conflict. Memories from previous battles vaguely flashed through his mind. He remembered that he wasn't a fan of front line combat. However he didn't just have war in mind when he agreed to Harley's deal. After a moment of sternly looking into the spatter of fights that broke out above, Zak pulled his eyes back to Harley, his expression growing somewhat oblivious. "An' jist where d'ye spose Ah start? Wouldn't be very entertainin' if Ah ended up a splatter on some giant robots toes in tha first moments o' tha battle." It may have been a while, but he was still quite familiar with Machina creations like the Elicitor with quite possibly the largest toes of all.

Still, Zak wasn't just here to fight. "Ah'll be needin' to come out o' this with more than a couple prisoners or heads. Perhaps ye can be more than jist a pretty face an' point me towards where Ah can find some new toys. Like an ancient ruin or hidden treasure. This place is old. There'll be somethin." Unbeknownst to anyone, over the centuries, Zak had planned on venturing out into the nexus to find any of the ancient shiny things the gods of old happen to have left lying around. Though he never got around to doing so, it's one of the many things on his to-do list. However he had preferred to do so without all the fighting. Regardless, he had a deal to uphold. "An' if there 'appens to be some unfortunate beasties or bots along the way, Ah'll smash 'em up good....jist fer little 'ol you. Fair 'nuff?" Asked Zak, digging in his coat pockets for another joint.

The Harpy watched helplessly as the knight flashed through the air, essentially slamming into the demon and brute-forcing her into submission. The attack, however, wasn't without cost, as Alexi had basically killed herself with that action in quite the brutal fashion, though it did do some significant damage to Ira. Too much for it to be a fight Syphax would be willing to walk into, though she still had enough left in her for some reflection, at least.

Once the Knight of Winter was stabbed through the heart and left to die, the slowed space he had been gliding through was lifted, and he completed his landing with all the grace one would expect of sudden acceleration. Not that it wasn't a proper landing, just that it was sloppier than he would've liked for first impressions. His talons had made contact first and he skidded to a halt, a set of lines indistinguishable from the surrounding destruction forming in his wake. With his entrance made, Syphax looked over his shoulder at Ira, sharp eyes taking in her figure. It wasn't hard to tell she was seriously injured from that attack, one arm was hanging free and appeared useless, and her legs were shaking subtly. Her face, however, gave no sign of intimidation. He turned around fully before drawing his greatsword and giving it a spin in his left hand. "I will say, that was impressive. I'm more surprised your sword didn't break under that pressure. Though it is a weapon of legend, I'm assuming."

Rather than cut down the Queen of Hell in her weakened state and take an easy victory, the Harpy paced back several feet and stabbed his sword into the ground. From there, he drew his dagger and leaned on the embedded blade, proceeding to twirl the smaller weapon between his fingers while looking up at Ira. Without a cue, his stone-cold expression broke slightly as the corners of his mouth turned up. "Tell me, what brings a faction leader to a floating battlefield? This area has little strategic value aside from housing my people." Without breaking eye contact, the warrior flicked his knife into the air and caught it again, holding it casually in his left hand by now. On the outside, he looked vulnerable, but anyone that had ever heard stories of Harpy breeding patterns would know to be wary of the singular male birthed in each generation.

Following a long series of hops and jumps to the front lines of the battle, in which every faction seemed to be laying all they had on one giant black mass of an enemy, Marquis finally found something equivalent to a blind to shoot from. Heavy leafage and bushes by the edge of this island made it probably the best spot to shoot from, so he decided to make use of it. The bot crouched down and got into cover before looking out at the field with his rifle, picking out some prominent targets.

His first target appeared to be an Angel with red hair and something akin to a cigarette in his mouth. Running some calculations, He started to line up a shot to get his attention, and hopefully draw out whatever he was conversing with. With a moment of total stillness to Marquis, he squeezed the trigger on Bindlebane, and a single engraved bullet flew out at standard sniper rifle speed and raced towards the target. On Zak's end, he would probably see the bullet rush past his face and he would surely find the end of his joint suddenly alight.

@The 42nd Gecko@Lucius Cypher@ReaptheMusic@KoL
Zeruel was just about to lodge the Warboss and his companion forward, he suddenly manages to glimpse a streaking flash right in front of him. The next thing he knew, Grafdaka’s drill arm was lying limply on the ground. Without any more of a delay, the Angel of Might throws the mech away with a mighty throw, standing ominously over the battlefield. But just before he could finish them off with his eye beam, he suddenly feels several pricks poking down on him. Turning around he glares at where Ni-Mu is standing, throwing a barrage of swords at him. It barely had an effect on him. But before he could fire again, Zeruel hears the voice of Cydone behind him, warning him to be careful about some ‘spacetime shreddy attacks’, as he quickly attempts to stall the Machina unit by lodging an island at her. If this is how machina operates, he might as well crush them with his own tendrils single-handedly.

@The 42nd Gecko@Lucius Cypher@ReaptheMusic@TheWindel@Ryonara@Awesomoman64
But unfortunately for the Laguna Angel, this wouldn’t turn out even remotely in his favor. As soon as Cydone lodged the island, Ni-Mu’s Raison d'Être, was fired at Zeruel’s direction. The cowboy warns him of the incoming attack, but as the Angel then looks behind him, it was clear that it wasn’t the only thing that was aimed directly at him. He counts four separate attacks rushing directly towards him from that angle simultaneously. Henry’s Silver Bullets, Barlog’s Reaper Beam, The Machina Sister’s laser fire, and Graf’s Grind Gear. Bracing for immediate impact, Zeruel tanks the heavy hits as he struggled to keep his ground. While it’s clear that he’ll be coming out with some considerable damage, he was not expecting what was about to happen next. Bastion entered the scene of the battle and aiming her weapon she fires a golden bullet that begins to pierce and rip right through his barrier.

It was at that moment when the stress of the beams colliding with Zeruel’s barrier caused a massive explosion that engulfed the Laguna Angel and the nearby units. Dust and smoke flew into the air, along with dirt and debris. Nobody knew what was going on. But behind that cloud, Zeruel was sent flying back until hitting a nearby hill with a thud. The results seemed blatantly clear. The Angel Of Might, the leader of the Laguna Angels, has been utterly pulverised. His bleeding body began to twitch violently as the form seemed to melt away as white yellow lobs began to seemingly disintegrate his body. To the Machina, and perhaps the forces of Hell, Zeruel was dead.

Yet for Heaven, this should still be a sign of hpe. Lying at the base of the erupted mountain, Zeruel was still alive, but only by barely. He has taken to his humanoid form, the basic form when interacting or fighting with humankind on the ground. But he's in dire critical condition. While his core is still intact, the rib-cage protecting it has weakened, with some rib-bones showing cracks and tears. Most of his body is also burnt and scarred from the explosion due to the sudden lack of his shields. And his mouth is gurgling blue blood. Clearly he has been beaten back by the full power of the Machina, more so than the demon’s own rather pathetic ways in trying to hurt him. He hasn’t been beaten this way in over 2,000 years. This wasn’t a defeat in Zeruel’s mind…

This was humiliation!

To let the Machina, a group of rather mortal minds and robots, defeat him so quickly is a complete insult to his entire existence! Yet to be fair, Zeruel didn’t expect the humans to have advanced in their technology. Hell, he hasn’t even fought in a war for at least a century, even refusing to participate in the most recent ones until now. He can be seen as extremely rusty, but also his arrogance and confidence having blinded his own judgement. But at the end of the day, one thing is for sure. These humans, they aren’t just vermin. Not anymore. Now they are a legitimate threat. A threat equal or more so than even Hell itself. And the Angel of Might will make sure that his vengeance shall be fulfilled.

But now he lies here, slowly attempting to fight death’s sweet grasp. The only thing keeping him alive was the faint energy signal coming from his still active core, along with bloodcurdling rage and adrenaline. All he needs now… is a healer. And he needs one fast.

Ghelgath Fenrir Calder-Berg

@floodtalon, @Mega Birb, @Awesomoman64, @KoL, @TheWindel

As Ghelgath’s Army of Frost charges straight towards Silske’s own, they suddenly seem to crash into thin air as the first row piles up against the translucent barrier the opposer erected. Yet before anything else can happen, the new Queen Ira silences the two rowdy children as she opens a rift straight to the battle that awaited them. Ghelgath bears his teeth in anger as he glares at the queen. It seemed like she didn’t care that the Ice Lich would not strike him down when he has the chance… then again, everyone else here seems to obey her as well.

As she and the rest of Hell’s forces entered the portal, he and Silske were the only ones still in the Throne Room. Both fire and ice stared down one another for a brief moment, with fire breaking the silence. After suggesting to battle another time and somehow having faith in this… new Queen, the barrier instantly retracted, with the ice demons at the front lines slumping over at the barriers’ absence. This entire plan has gone completely south, along with several buttfuckings of humiliation laughing at Ghelgath in the face. But as he stands, he begins to realize the truth. King Rufus isn’t coming back isn’t he? For god knows how long or how being most important, the previous King abandoned Hell and left his throne to any who would achieve it. And it just so happened that this ‘samurai-wannabe’ gained it all for herself. The Lich King looks at the throne for a second, then back at the portal. He simply sighs in defeat.

”Well then…” he hisses to himself, nodding, ”We’ll just see how really effective she is in battle. Hell, I imagine she’s gonna get beaten by that Alexi girl from the Bots. That’ll be ffffffuck-in hillarious.”

He then looks at his troops, who had all just gotten up and were awaiting orders.

”Oh fuckin’ chill you pansies.” Ghelgath replies to his troops, ”Looks like we got nothing better else to do. Might as well go into battle. With me, now.”

Without a roar of combat, but rather in almost complete silence, Ghelgath and his entire army enter the portal into Arcadia, where the battle has just gotten started…

Upon his arrival, he can see Hell’s forces already divided with some going about their own agenda, while some like Henry and Barlog help in taking down the massive Laguna Angel that once loomed over the battlefield. Had Heaven gotten this soft? Or have they just given up in life in the clouds? Of course, you also had that and the fact that the Machina at this point was extremely powerful in their own right. Ghelgath stands near the portal motionlessly before his sergeant came beside him.

”Ghelgath sir.” the toothy lich speaks, ”Your army awaits further orders. What army do you want us to barge into?”

The Lich King looks at both angles of the battlefield before responding.

”Heaven appears to be weakened now that the Laguna Angel has taken heavy damage. I doubt it’s dead though, but it’ll be still unwise to further battle him. Regardless, I’m also not sure how long the Machina will “ally” with us against him. Send half of our men to each army and scout them out. Attack when there’s an opening. I’ll create more troops once I gather… my composure.”

The Ice Sergeant nods as he splits the army into two, with one legion heading towards Heaven’s direction, with the other towards the Machina. Hell’s icy wind has finally reached into the tropical lands of Arcadia.

Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

As the missiles rained upon Zeruel he noticed they weren't doing much in comparison to the ridiculous amounts of pressure the Machine had just put on the massive Laguna Angel. Zeruel was utterly destroyed as he was sent flying into a nearby mountain, seemingly dead. But Henry knew betrer, he fought his fair share of Laguna Angels and he knew just what the fuck he was trying to pull.

"OH no you don't. This ain't over." Henry flew slightly closer to Zeruel as his eyes began to glow once more. Missiles didn't do back shit to the guy, so it was time to crank things up several notches. Space began to distort in front of Zeruel and he would feel himself getting pulled into a miniature black fucking hole as Henry made sure the bastard died. Henry's eyes started to bleed slightly, he had never tried making anything on this scale but fuck it. The black hole and Zeruel was far away enough from everyone else that they wouldn't get pulled in, unless they went to go help him.

Ira
Current Location: Hell

By the time Syphax had caught his knife in hand in an act of boldness, Ira was already atop him. The urge to kill reflected in her crimson orbs as she brought her mighty blade upwards with her still functioning arm. Without hesitation she slammed it forward for an overhead swing. Even if Syphax blocked or parried, she would continue swinging without letting up, moving fast to the point of trying to trap in him one stance.

“A warrior proves his worth through actions, not words. Trying to talk big will only get you killed little Angel,” Ira said, turning to spit blood into the sky’s abyss below them before focusing on her prey once more. The ground beneath them cracked, threatening to turn the island into even more tiny pieces from its already fractured state.

“Diplomats and speech givers have no place on the battlefield. Only warriors deserve to draw their weapons here. That is why I stand before you, eager to remove your head from your body,” Ira said plainly, continuing her onslaught. Overtime, the length of her blade began to be coated in blackened flames, the proximity of her swings no doubt making Syphax sweat more than he was used to.

With gritted teeth, she also made a mental order directed at Sliske’s forces to go right ahead and destroy those who were damaged or those who were weak on the battlefield. There would be no need for distractions here and she fully intended to take this victory for the glory of Hell in one swell swoop. “The Machina have already bled by my blade today. So too shall Heaven as well,” she said, displaying a surprising amount of strength in one arm alone.

Down below on another island, Harley shrugged in response to her “contractor’s” words. “If I gave a warning, it wouldn’t be a surprise, right? Aren’t the times you spend with me oh so special Zak?” she said with a giggle. His next set of complaints drew out another round of mirth, eyes flashing as she looked in the direction he was talking about.

“That’s war for you Zak. A lot of hot air and yelling that no one does anything about. It’s only when someone draws a gun do people start to pay attention,” she mused, looking back down and raising an eye. “You sure do like to make me hassle don’t you? Hmm….treasure hunting sounds fine enough I guess-oh! There’s one right now. Something, something, a valuable asset to High Queen Eos herself! Now that sounds like some mighty fine treasure….you should start probably duck now.”

Victoire Bordeaux, the Bloody Countess
Arcadia's Outer Rim ⚜ Engaging Bonesword

"Well, well," Victoire said, before finishing her cup of tea, gazing at Bonesword with one eye closed, with a haughty smirk gracing her soft features. "If it's not the single being on this whole battlefield which I should be the weakest against," the young demon-vampire hybrid said, crossing her legs and resting her hands over her lap.

"I suppose that offering a deal isn't totally out of the realm of possibilities, right? Otherwise, you would be using that horrendous thing to 'smite' me already," Victoire said, glancing at the blade the skeletal swordsman obtained from Hohenheim. "Are you interested in my beautiful children? Someone who knows the power of the natural world sure can appreciate a work of art as beautiful as a garden of Demon Roses in full bloom," Victoire said, making use of a much less valued, yet deadly skill of her double heritage, the fact that both vampires and succubus are beings who thrive on deceit.

"You'll never be able to control them without my 'blessing'. However," the vampire extended an open palm to Bonesword, where there was nothing before, now she had a handful of ruby-like rose hips, enough to cover an area as big as Alt-Signia, at the very least. "If you are willing to bargain, I would be more than glad to share the beauty of my roses with the world." Naturally, Victoire wasn't going to let this bargain be her only gambit. If Bonesword or his minions tried to attack her, the vampire girl was ready to use shapeshifting powers to turn into a swarm of shadow bats and evade any physical damage, at the cost of an even increased weakness to light and holy magics, while also blinding them with a mass of living darkness. Having a plan B is never too much, after all.

Ni-Mu, the 2201st Prototype
Arcadia's Main Isles ⚔ Engaging Hildr & Cydone

"Now!" Despite Cydone's attempt to block it, Raison d'Être's ability to slice and dice through the very space made so that Ni-Mu second attack wasn't wasted like the first, hitting Zeruel at the same time as the Mecha Maid's TLS beams and half of the firepower of the rest of the battlefield. It was a convergent attack like no other Ni-Mu had recorded on her database, yet the Gigantic Angel survived.

Sadly, Ni-Mu couldn't concentrate on finishing Zeruel for good at the moment, not with another Angel throwing a literal island at her and a second one coming in, dive-kicking, like a comet of destruction. "Mecha Maids, that was a good attack. If you can, try to finish the Laguna, a Demon seem to have gone after him as well. Beware, he's an user of Silver Eyes," Ni-Mu sent a text message directly to Hibiki and Shizuka's HUDs, given that she had only a fraction of a second to dodge and communicate her intentions. Likewise, Ni-Mu sent the following message to the rest of the Machina who could receive it, "Engaging two Angel targets, if possible send firing support."

Having complete the first battle protocol of informing her allies about her status in mere milliseconds, Ni-Mu used the rest of the time she had to dodge— somersaulting half an island— making sure that either Hildr would be on the path of Cydone's charge, or that the Elder Valkyrie would miss fall through the fragments left behind by the island vs island collision. Taking another fraction of a second to analyze the properties and composition of Cydone's blade as he pierced through, Ni-Mu stored the weapon's information on her database, before producing a of nearly identical copy of it, in and attempt to block an unstoppable force with another.

WARBOSS GRAFDAKKA DESTROYA

”WAAAAARGH!”

Shaking and rumbling with the force of a storm, the titanium behemoth rammed right towards the Arm of God. Only the heavens would be so arrogant as to face the might of the Machina alone; a vice that Graf has witnessed in many of his foes from the skies above. They all beleived their relation to Deva made them divinity themselves, but what they forget is that the Nexus is a realm of death. Everything here dies, and everything here would kill you. Gods, Demon Lords, Immortals, very concepts of reality that holds the Nexus together. It didn't matter what title or your power; Grafdakka is just a simple machine that kills them.

A combined attack from Nu-Mu, the Mecha Maids, Grafdakka, and even some surprising synchronicity from the demons, allowed them to muster enough force to break through Zeruel’s barrier, knocking him into one of the nearby hills/mountains (The distinction was lost on Graf). Graf was personally disappointed that his attack didn’t kill Zeruel out right, but he would deal with that mistake soon enough. Smoke billowed from Grafdakka’s weapons, yet they still roared with life even as they changed from their drill configuration back to their standard configuration. There was no time to celebrate however: he was getting hit by random bits of stray fire, which meant there were still plenty of enemies around.

There were many angels flying around trying fruitlessly to stab or shoot him, to which he countered by swinging his chainsaws at them with frightening precision. Although his attacks certainly looked like a berserker flailing, what some people tend to forget is that Grafdakka is an advanced, precise killing machine: he can take on opponents as long as him or as small as Cherry with no real change in difficulty. Each slash was aimed at one of the harpies, and struck as quickly as a meteor. Of course while he was taking the time to aim, he didn't particularlly target any harpy in particular, cutting down any fool enough to actually be within arms reach. For their sake, they'll wise up and keey away from Grafdakka.

"INSECTS! NONE OF YOU CAN SATISFY ME!"

Activating his thrusters at full blasts, he burned everything around him, further dissuading any angelic or demonic creatures from approaching him. He made sure to not activate the thrusters near Cherry however, so she wasn't burned alive. Once he cleared some space for himself Grafdakka looked for a new opponent when he saw him. Balrog. "THAT'S MY BODY!" Flying full speed ahead, Grafdakka charged right towards Balrog, his chainsaws poised to impale and rip apart anything that came in it's way. Ideally Balrog.

Cydone, The Unstoppable Blade

"What happens when an unstoppable spear meets an immovable shield? Lots and lots of radiation..."

Cydone was entirely surprised when Ni-Mu copied his weapon, but the thing about copying other people's weapons was you didn't always understand quite how their intricacies worked yet.

What happened when the two identical blades met? The parts in direct contact annihilated, transforming their entire mass into radiation that could break free of the inertia effect and prevent a paradox from occurring. Now, anyone who knows a bit about physics knows that a little bit of mass goes a long way when you turn it into energy. Cydone always hated when this happened. The burning sting, the knowing that you're gonna slowly die for an hour. Not exactly his piece of fun. But radiation played absolute havoc on machine systems. Obviously, most were hardened against it, some by being outdated practically analog pieces of junk like Killa Kans, some with hard light shields like the Daimyo. But this was a hella-lot of radiation, enough to radiate even a superhuman like Cydone with a lethal dose, and he was launching this attack from a distance with a wire, while Ni-Mu was right up and cozy with it.

But the High Queen of the Machina was nothing if not a beyond physics with her designs, and perhaps her personal creation of the Ni-Mu had the defenses to withstand a point blank matter-energy conversion radiation bomb, even with advanced systems and no shields.

But what she couldn't prepare for was that, barring 3 inches of the blade that turned into energy, Cydone's blade still kept going, completely unhindered and unaffected by a small part of it converting to energy. The title "Unstoppable" wasn't for show. You either got out of the way or destroyed the whole blade. The sword taller than Ni-Mu would slice all but three inches of her in half, the part of it blocked with Ni-Mu's copy. Even if Ni-Mu had a shielding system against the radiation, it'd be hard for it to function with such a gaping wound allowing it to seep into her innards. Not to mention functioning at all after such an attack.

"Sorry love, neat trick though." Cydone said, but he wasn't wasting any time talking, as a lightning quick hand motion send a fistful of shotgun shells flying through the air at the nearly in half Ni-Mu, exploding around her to finish her off with an omnidirectional cloud of increased-inertia pellets to render her scrap metal while she was stunned from the radiation and massive damage.

"Well, that leaves me with five shotgun shells, my shuriken, some wire, and a lethal dose of radiation poisoning. To solve all this.." Cydone glanced over the rest of the battle. Then pulled his hat a bit lower, before exploding from two missiles he hadn't noticed coming while he fought Ni-Mu.

Hibiki & Shizuka

The two sisters smiled as the combined attack by the Machina worked. Not the most coordinated strike, but Hibiki would take everything she can get. Unfortunately things were too chaotic to celebrate yet. One of the angels rained ranged attacks onto Hibiki and Shizuka, and while try avoided immediate destruction Hibiki's craft got hit. It sustained major damage, though it was still flyable. One engine was damaged and the angel's were lucky shot the Excalibur TLS, rendering it nonfunctional. Shizuka got off much lighter, as the shots on her plane only managed to destroy the wards she had set up previously.

"Nova 1, what's the status of your aircraft?"

"Light damage to the hull, but one of my engines is shot and the Excalibur TLS has been disabled. Let's clear out!"

The sisters flew away out of immediately hostile airspace only to receive a message from Nu-Mu. She was being attacked by two angel warriors of great power; one that was able to severely damage Grafdakka, and another who's power levels were off-the scales. Nu-Mu wanted them to deal with the Laguna, but before either sisters could respond, Nu-Mu's signal was cut off. Both Hibiki and Shizuka were too high up to see what had happened. "Nu-Mu? Nu-Mu, do you copy? No response! That can only mean... She's been killed!" The Machina's technology were too powerful for Heaven's magic to interfere, and surely there weren't any demons powerful enough to possess Nu-Mu. But Hibiki simply didn't know what happened. She needed to think of a plan before things turn badly for the Machina.

Fortunately, Shizuka was much better at thinking on her feet and started parking out orders to the Machina near by, including her sister. "Nova 1, use the V2 to eliminate the Laguna and Henry. Our allies should be outside the blast radius and ensure both their deaths. I will retrieve Unit Cherry and see if she can't bring back Nu-Mu." Hibiki glanced at her sister training to her side. Surely Shizuka didn't expect Hibiki to do that on a shot engine? Not only would she need to head back into hostile airspace, but with only one functioning engine she'd be too slow to avoid any attacks on her. But just as Hibiki could read Shizuka's mind, Shizuka could also sense Hibiki's thoughts.

"We'll need to swap. Just like we practiced, alright?" Hibiki's eyes widen. True she did practice it with her sister, but under controlled circumstances. Right now they were in the middle of a battle... But desperate times called for desperate measures. Hibiki trained her sister to be able to take charge like right now so she could turn the tide of battle with her own power. Hibiki would have to put faith in her sister now. "Roger that. I'll maintain current speed." Hibiki prepared to eject from her aircraft, taking her emergency ejection equipment with her. It contained a one-use matter replicator that would create a single copy of her usual load out. Shizuka flew just a bit ahead of Hibiki and also prepared to eject, taking a matter replicator and her sword.

"Prepare to swap in 3... 2... 1! Rex tremendae majestatis!"

Shizuka and Hibiki ejected from their aircraft at the same time. Shizuka emerged from her aircraft with wings on her back. While she was airborne she use the replicator to create her Power Fist and deftly strapped Seier onto her waste. Unlike before Seier was as small as a dagger. When Hibiki ejected she had no wings or parachute to save her from her fall but she wouldn't fall for long. Instead she angled her body directly towards Shizuka's airplane, and in a well-practiced motion fell into into the cockpit and took control of Shizuka's airplane midflight. Everything happened in the span of seconds. Hibiki's previous aircraft took a nosedive right into one of the floating islands and exploded upon impact.

"Unit Grafdakka and Cherry, this is Lunatic 1, Shizuka. I need to take Cherry to Nu-Mu, she's been critically damaged but may be saved. I'm coming in hot, get ready!"

"All machina forces this is Nova 1, Hibiki. I will be sending a V2, a nuclear warhead, onto the Laguna location to eliminate him and any other enemy forces. Clear out of that area immediately, I repeat, clear out of that area immediately!"

The two sisters flew off for their objectives at sonic speeds. Shizuka went to retreive Cherry, while Hibiki went to deliver the deathblow to the angels and demons. Nu-Mu was too powerful an asset for either sisters to lose, and they were both determined to bring the Machina a perfect victory this time. Not one negotiated as a compromise, or scrapped together as a consolation prize. Their pride and honor as not just soldiers of the Machina of Man, but as Maids, demanded nothing less but perfection.

Hildr Reinhardt

It was utterly astonishing to see what could occur in the span of one Valkyrie drop-kicking their way through the sky, as it appeared that the artificial Valkyrie was wiped out before Hildr could even get a chance to trade blows with it. An unfortunate outcome, though her disappointment was abated by the veritable lightshow which had sent the Laguna flying towards a slow, painful demise if they Demons and Machina chasing it down didn't have anything to say first.

This also left Hildr with an abundance of inertia and no real target, a situation quickly remedied by a disturbance in time alongside a familiar aura of malevolence. Beneath her helm, all manor of amusement on her features was dashed aside and replaced with a warped rigor of mania. Teeth grinding and eyes burning with the gold of destruction, Hildr was ripe to burst and unleash her might upon the Queen of Hell where others had only wounded.

Treating the fabric of reality as though it were moist stationary, Hildr punched through an arbitrary point in the air and disappeared from her previous trajectory. When next she appeared, she was preceded with two rip lines launched ahead of her while the Elder Valkyrie exited horizontal to Ira. The chains would tear into the Queen of Hell and hold fast, so when Hildr tugged upon them Ira would be sent flying off of the downed Harpy and collide with Hildr's leading boot.

It may not have been an infinite inertia island, but some people had to make do with brute force.

Bonesword

He kept his sword drawn at Victoire, waiting for her to do any funny business. Honestly he didn't really want to smite her, as if she just came peacefully with him then nothing bad would happen, but she instead seemed to want to make a deal with the skeleton. Now, the skeleton didn't want to be rude and just outright take his sword directly through her breasts, and he kind of wanted to hear what blasphemy the succubus-vampire had to propose. He heard the call from Hibiki, but he didn't think that he'd be too threatened by it. In fact, he had an idea brewing in his head as he stared down Victoire.

"... go on."

@KoL

Abigail, the Restless

Abigail stopped firing at the jets when she noticed that her fire wasn't really doing much to stop them, so it slowly became a futile effort. A strong Dreambolt could probably do it, but alas, she had nobody to even work with it. It became an interest of hers to just go try and tip the odds for another combatant, this time around being a fight in the aid of Syphax against Ira. Abigail rocketed off in flight and flew to the section of the area where she could safely watch the two duel, and instead of her getting involved with it, she stayed hidden in order to take Ira down if Syphax failed.

Then the fight was interrupted by Hildr flying into the scene... yeah maybe it was time to try and fight something else... maybe the demon that fought for the Machina was good enough? He was dueling right now, so maybe he'd be a good target for the ghost? With that, Abigail shot back off towards the central area towards Victoire and the demon she was fighting, in an effort to take one or the other down.

Tartys

It was perhaps unfortunate that her efforts to provide a distraction had come to naught, since it might have meant a bit of saving garce for Zeruel. But Tartys could at least be pleased to see that they were nonetheless dealing some blows, with two of the Machina out of commission in the process. Now they just had to push what advantage they had to compensate for Zeruel being taken out. As if things weren't hard enough here.

Given the failure of her plan it did not take much to get Tartys to reverse course and head back towards the main conflagration. She wasn't going to do any good when her attempt at a diversion had failed, so she would just have to get involved in the ongoing fight, whatever the personal cost.

Magic infused her form, speeding her up and allowing her to return to the battlefield that much quicker than she would have been able to otherwise. A snap direction would send her hawks dive bombing Henry to harass and disrupt his efforts at using the Silver Eyes against Zeruel, while she herself attempted to eliminate the remaining of the brazen Machina planes that had attacked hem. Beams of light cut across the sky as she followed the target, delivering a cutting heat wherever they should land. With the consistent and tracking beam, aided by her own mobility, a landed hit would make short work of the enemy vehicle. She was sure of it.

Zak

Zak scoffed, finally finding a dusty joint among the dirt and debris still lingering in his pocket from his landing. "Aye...all two times 'ave been positively delightful." Replied the angel, somewhat facetiously. With a sharp breath, Zak blew the joint clean and pinched it at the corner of his mouth. An expression of intrigue crossed Zak's face as Harley spoke of an 'asset' whatever it may be. "Treasure o' value to tha boss robo lass ye say?" He managed a subtle grin. Anything of any importance to the queen of Machina herself was bound to be a worthwhile venture. However, skepticism crept in the back of Zak's mind. This girl was still a stranger to him. One who doesn't exactly scream 'trust me!' His thoughts trailed off for a moment as he brought a flaming index finger up to light his joint. "Well thas' great! So where is it?" Then suddenly, his brain caught up to him. "Wait what about ducks?"

Chunks of wood and bark from the tree Zak was propped against splintered out, exploding into the air as a the distant snipers searingly fast slug buzzed past his face, singing the tip off his joint as it did. Zak shielded himself from the wooden shrapnel with both hands before ducking down and rolling to the other side of the tree opposite to where the bullet roughly came from. Zak coughed, the taste of gunpowder lingering on the smoke from his joint. "Fantastic..." Muttered the angel in a sarcastic tone. He keept his head down, looking at the gash in the tree and where the bullet had continued through to the ground. A couple short moments of silence passed before Zak shot a pressed look back to Harley. "Well Checkers? Ah never said stop talkin! Where is tha blasted thing? Or things...potentially."

Careful not to break cover, Zak quickly looked around, making a few observations to himself as he plotted his path out of this situation. For a moment, he hoped the shooter would forget him and move on. However it dawned on him of how determined and patient snipers could be when it comes to getting their shots off. He could easily end up with a new orifice if he made the wrong move. A thought he wasn't to fond of after coming out of relative retirement. It then dawned on him that these trees aren't bullet proof. "Also, ye 'ave a mirror?" Asked Zak, beckoning at Harley with one hand while tucking the other in his coat.

Victoire Bordeaux, the Bloody Countess
Arcadia's Outer Rim ⚜ Engaging Bonesword

Victoire's smile grew wider as Bonesword demonstrated the will to listen to her words, instead of going straight for the smite, leaving enough time for Victoire to assess battlefield's condition and see how bad were the odds of their faction coming out victorious. Though, even on the brink of defeat, Victoire could come up with a few gambits to try and tip the scales in their favor.

"Avaritia, there are enemies closing in very fast on your position, they are like to be the Machina on those fighter planes. Finish your quarry and try to rendezvous with me, as fast as possible," The vampire said telepathically to Henry, following then to Balrog. "Balrog, try to hold your ground, we need your power to take down the other factions snipers. Destroy your enemy's flight capabilities, if possible and throw them off the islands, or just stall until support arrives." Having finished with Balrog, Victoire turned to the one who would actually decide if they would walk away from Arcadia in one piece, or not. "Ice Demon," she said, regarding Gelgath, "quit your ramblings and join Balrog, his powers are essential for our victory. Let he die and you too shall taste defeat. Send your army to harass the snipers that are literally littering these damned islands, we cannot do anything until we are free of those furtive pests. If we lose because you are too arrogant to comply, you'll wish Ira was the one out for your head."

Having finished her mental broadcast, Victoire addressed Bonesword once more, making sure that the small pause in her speech came of as she considering her dialogue options, instead of battle coordination. "Now then, my proposal is simple. Take these and leave me be, or better yet join the side to which you rightfully belong. You'll find that this is nothing but a minor token, compared to all the wealth Hell has to offer. A swordsman of your caliber certainly would be very well appreciated on our legion," the demonic vampire said, being careful to not show any apparent signs of being an immediate threat as her backup plans where slowly being put into motion. Even now, some of Arcadia's islands, hit by the stray seeds Syphax blew away sometime ago, were beginning to sprout her rose fields, soon enough her deadly mist would cover the flying archipelago, as her roses bloomed and spread their malignant pollen to seed the other islands.

It was just a matter of time before Victoire would be the ruler of these Hanging Gardens.

Bonesword and Abigail

Bonesword considered his options before him. He could walk away from the Machina and join Hell's army. He could be back into the hands of demon overlords. People who understand him, are like him, and even can relate to him. He could be recognized among many for going back to the correct side in the war. He could follow his instincts.

If he left the army of the Machina, though, he'd lose all of what he'd worked up to. He'd just be as filthy as those he killed with the Shroomblade so long ago. He'd be just as filthy as Rhine. He'd be destroying everything he's worked up to for so long. He'd be killing the ones he knew as allies. All this could be overlooked, but the one big kicker was that he'd be going back on the oath he swore to so many years ago.

He'd be going back on... her?

Abigail had finally made it to the fight scene between the two demons, and her expression of holy smite turned into an expression of shock. It was him. Her lover. Staring right back at her too. She saw his expression go grim as well, as his blade began to radiate in a green glow. He was not entirely stable with seeing the ghost of his lover it would seem, and it showed within the shaking expression of his. Bonesword turned to Victoire, and with a clean strike, sent his blade directly at her. Should she try to even evade, a Honor Strike would be encompassing her flesh with a ray of pure green light, smiting her into the darkest corners of nothingness. He stared back up at the ghost that held the body of his deceased lover, and he remained shaking in his boots, rattling in his clothes, and quivering with fear.

"A-Abby? Is that you...?"

"Yes, beloved. It is me."

The skeleton reached his hand out to his deceased lover, and Abigail responded with bringing her hand to him. Just as the two were about to touch hands, the skeleton was picked up by Charlie and sent into the skies with a mighty launch, flinging him to the dark recesses of the forest where Ira had been dueling Syphax. He wasn't given a smooth landing, slamming hard into a tree, however it was not hard enough of an impact for him to bust into a bunch of bones... or even crack any of them.

Bonesword recovered from the impact, and once he did he just crawled up against the tree and started crying. Well... not really crying more or less he was simulating it. Abigail, back on the island she had seen her lover on, was also sobbing on the ground. The two had just been reunited with their lover, but in an instant they were separated. Bonesword, weeping not because he was taken from her, but because he thought she was nothing more than an apparition of his lover, haunting his memories.

"Why am I still haunted by memories of her?! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Abigail was sobbing because she figured the man who she once loved had grown to resent her, because in her time of death she could not save herself for him. She believed Charlie meant to get Bonesword away from her, but in reality he was trying to save Bonesword from falling to Victoire's scheme.

"Why did you run? I've returned for you!"

The two were not happy campers right now, for obvious reasons.

@Kol@TheWindel

In the fields of roses adorning the area, a few of the fields would be sadly cursed with the destructive nature of fire, as a few of Bonesword's idiotic tree army had entered the areas of them. They were undoused, and they barely fell onto the fields of roses, setting them aflame and causing mass destruction.

Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

Henry was about to finish forming the ultimate fuck you to the universe and Zeruel when his concentration was jolted by two simultaneous things. One was Victoire's voice echoing in his mind for him to rendezvous with her for some reason, while the second was by the sound of screeching hawks and fighter planes which Victoire had just warned him about. Henry mumbled some curse words under his breath and let the black hole collapse on itself, instead forming a ridiculous number of flaming silver eagles with his Silver Eyes. They quickly intercepted the hawks and moved onto the fighter planes,

Henry looked at Zeruel with contempt and spat in his direction, chuckling at his broken state. He then pulled a small egg shaped device out of his Hates of Tartarus and clicked a small button on the top."I look forward to killing you again." He tossed the egg right next to Zeruel and took off, leaving the mini nuke to do his dirty work for him when it went off. Henry flapped his wings hard and started heading over to Victoire. He noticed a demon fly by him, some sort of mushroom skeleton thing. Familiar looking too. Weird.

Henry landed right next to some sort of crying ghost bitch and Victoire, smelling the distinct scent of basil in the air for some reason. Through some convoluted mental gymnastics he came to the conclusion that he did not want to know why the ghost was crying and he shuffled slightly further away from her. Victoire was one fucked up demon. "Anyhow what's up? You want me to kill her?"

As the once mighty Zeruel lies helplessly on the ground, broken and torn up, to his dismay Henry was able to sense his escape plan. As he looks up at the demon, he feels like he has seen, or heard, of him before. Something told him he knew how the Laguna Angels worked. That shouldn't be possible given how now Laguna Angels actively participated during the entirety of the war itself until now, starting with his truly. But then it struct him. He remembered that out of those demons who assassinated and killed the Laguna Angels that week ago, one of them couldn't be found. Said demon must've escaped from the Laguna's grasp. Could this, Henry, be the one that got away?

Of course, before he could try to figure it out, the demon's eyes began to glow as he rips out a miniature black hole, sucking everything nearby into the black bottomless abyss. Zeruel could feel his entire body slowly moving towards it as he struggles to keep himself anchored intro the ground. Even as two of his tendrils pierced the ground like steel nails, it didn't seem to be enough as he continues getting pulled in. Already humiliated in his first major battle in a hundred years, was this the way he'll go about his death? He attempts to fire his eye beams as his eyes began to flicker rapidly. This was his last chance to survive this battle.

But before he could die or perhaps get away, Henry had seemed to have been distracted by something as he suddenly allows the black hole to collapse upon itself and intercepts the incoming fighter planes and valkyries that came their way. The crippled Laguna slowly begins to drag himself back to his feet, when Henry came back and glared at him. After spitting in his direction, chuckling evilly, he throws an egg-shaped object next to Zeruel, as the demon hisses how he'd love to kill him again. And with that he vanished, leaving him and the egg behind.

But Zeruel knew better. With a vengeance now far greater thanks to his recent humiliation in battlefield, with a roaring blare of rage and adrenaline, he calls upon his remaining strength and quickly swings his tendril towards the nuke, hitting it out straight from his field and towards some random place among the battlefield. He wasn't sure where it will land or who it will hit, but wherever it lands and blows up, that won't be his problem anymore. And the possibilities of it actually dealing damage... was rather high. As he finally gets up to his feet, he looks at his surroundings slowly, hearing the call of battle from beyond the newly formed clearing. He was beaten badly, and survived death twice this battle already, but he wasn't quite out of the fight yet. Already his natural regeneration was slowly taking place in its attempt to fix the wounds, but that will take several hours to fully heal on its own. And his advisor, plus expert healer, Kushiel remained back in Heaven, unable to assist him in battle. But as long as his core is still active, he can heal... slowly but surely.

He begins to walk slowly towards the trees, his minor natural regeneration slowly morphing his body at a painfully slow rate as he moves to get medical assistance.

Ghelgath Fenrir Calder-Berg

@Awesomoman64, @Kol

As his forces began to move out, Ghelgath was suddenly interrupted by a call from Victoire, ordering him to join Barlog's assault and send his army to assault the snipers, mentioning that if his arrogance to comply blinded him, he'll 'wish Ira was the one out for his head'. The Frozen Wretch hissed quietly at first, but with nowhere else to go, he had no choice but to comply.

"Yeah yeah," he responds, rolling his eyes in annoyance, "Shut up."

He will comply with her orders, but he had doubt about Hell's odds at this point. He wonders where Ira is and how she was holding up. Probably getting her assed handed to her by some shmuck, or probably kicking ass, who knows. Ghelgath then signals for his armies to come back to him.

"Wait wait wait," he calls to both armies as they turned back to him, "New orders for you guys. Listen closely."

After explaining what they need to do, the army salutes as the army heads out to deal with the harassment of snipers, lead by the Ice Sergeant. Meanwhile, the Ice King heads towards Barlog's location to assist him.

"Oi, Big Arse," Ghelgath calls to the beast as he stops next to him, "Nice shot on the Laguna Angel. Where you headed now?"

Cherry nuzzled up closer against Grafdakkas head as his thrusters went out full throttle. She wasn't really paying attention, still shaking her body enticingly atop his shoulders by instinct alone. The sharp crackle in her ear from the built in communicator snapped her to attention though, calling for her presence.

"Nu-who?" Cherry smiled into her communicator, her LED blush disappearing. She blinked a handful of times; no response. Of course she'd been debriefed as to who everyone was prior to this point, her programming to be coy was showing itself. Cherry looked over at Grafdakka who had spotted Balrog, kicking her feet lightly against his metal body. "I gotta go Mr. Grafdakka, buh-by--OOP~!!!"

Just then, the mecha had shouted about how Balrogs body would be his and jettisoned off. Unprepared, Cherry backflipped off of him from the force of how quickly he pulled away and landed in the soft grass of the island they had hovered over with a soft "oof~!"

Cherry raised herself up, blue eyes wide with her hands placed on the ground close to her between her spread legs as she watched Grafdakka take off. She raised her hands to her lips, giving a small giggle.

"Ready for action, Lunatic 1~!"

She spoke through her communicator. As she waited to be picked up, she spent her time laying in the soft grass and getting cozy. Perhaps cozier than she should with the gunfire around her but this place was so pretty she couldn't help but gain pleasure just from the environment itself. When the aircraft would get close, Cherry would quickly pick herself up and run to the edge of the island, glomming onto it as it slowed for her and locking her hands to the outside, ready for them to take her where she needed to be.

Omega

With surprisingly quick reaction time, Tatiana was able to dodge Omega’s shot as well as change her gun to a beam configuration. She retaliated shortly after sending beam after beam towards the ghost who rolled to the side and attempted to fire back. The rate the beams were coming at him, however, gave little time for him to aim. His options were limited and at this range he was at a big disadvantage. He would have to get her closer if he wanted a chance to take her down.

Rather than hold his position, Omega began firing wildly at Tatiana in hopes to disrupt her while he made a quick retreat into the thick forest behind him. It would be extremely difficult to maneuver through the trees with a jump pack, and even harder to try and search from above where all the other enemies could see. If the Machina wanted to continue this fight, she would have to do so on the ground.

@Flamelord

Balrog

As the dust settled, the Laguna Angel Zeruel lay on the ground only mostly dead. Though Balrog wanted to finish him, Victoire had other plans. She gave Balrog orders to hold his ground and focus on any sniping enemies he found. As snipers were among the most cowardice of all fighters, Balrog was more than happy to see to their destruction. He began looking to the islands above for any sign of the weaklings when Ghelgath showed up.

”Balrog told to hold ground. Kill snipers.” Balrog explained to his icy ally. But just as he finished speaking, the voice of another giant rang out.

"THAT'S MY BODY!"

A large grin crawled across Balrog’s face. He had been waiting for this chance, and now he would go toe to toe with Grafdakka himself. ”You want? THEN COME TAKE!” Without another thought Balrog engaged his thrusters and charged straight at Graf, leaving Ghelgath behind. As the two came close to contact, Balrog twirled his twin flails around and wrapped it around Graf’s chainsaw jamming the teeth and pulling it aside just before the two slammed full force into each other.
