History: Gabriel was born to Mormon parents in the Mormon city of Salt Lake City. He is a Mormon, and an enthusiastic one at that. His parents and his church were major players in shaping his life and he appreciates everybody within his extended biological family and his church, though many view Gabriel as being obnoxious. His parents were fairly reasonable people, small business owners. His mother was an accountant and taught him a good deal about finance as did his church. He is friendly enough, and sometimes comes off as a little too friendly.
Gabriel had few school friends. He did, of course, attend a parochial school which taught religion as much as it did other subjects. He spent a lot of time with his elementary school choir teacher, who helped Gabriel especially with hitting high notes, and Gabriel still misses him. High school was more or less a blur to Gabriel, though it was where he met his partner on his Mission.
When it came time to do his missionary work, Gabriel's dream was to go to Florida. He begged for days, though in the end, he and his partner were sent to Illinois, and Gabriel couldn't complain, as he preached the Lord's word.
After the lock down, or really right as it happened, Gabriel's partner on the mission died, killed mysteriously when Gabriel turned around, then back to notice his partner's body bisected cleanly from the waist. Needless to say, he ran as far as possible and hid somewhere.
