Name: The Authoress

Species: Human

Age: Biologically 16, but mentally? Well...time hasn't mattered to the Authoress since she came into existence.

Appearance: About 1.6 meters tall, with light brown hair that stops short above her shoulders. Usually wears a dark blue cardigan and a neutral expression.

Personality: She's emotionally-detached - that is, she is quite literally unable to feel most emotions. There is the occasional confusion or curiousity but they are, more often than not, severely diluted. She does hold an appreciation for stories, in every sense of the word.

History: As far as she can remember, she's always been 16. She holds no knowledge of her real name, her background, familial or otherwise, or even the dimension she originally came from. In her mind, she has no 'history' or 'future' - time becomes pointless when she can travel into any dimension, to any point in the timestream, whenever she wants. All she knows is that her job as the Embodiment of Restraint, is to maintain balance in the multiverse. Of course, she isn't against manipulating the flows of dimensions to her will - or "creating stories" as she calls them - and it helps that she has nearly every power in the universe.

How did you get here?: By casually popping in through the Randomer, of course.

Brief description of the world your character came from: The Authoress doesn't belong to any dimension in particular but that doesn't mean she's a wanderer. There is a plane of existence which resides somewhere in between dimensions, an infinite whitespace of sorts, a mirrored box with its surface area perpetually pulsing with a sort of mystical energy. Gateways or portals, as some call them, open up on the walls, the floors, and even the ceiling without any definite order to them; hence the name "Randomer". The Authoress is still in the process of studying the workings of that particular place but it has proven difficult even with her abilities. Because of this, she has theorised that it may not be a part of the multiverse, that perhaps the plane that it resides on allows it to exist as an entirely separate setting from the variety of realities of the multiverse. Whatever the case, it's the closest thing she has to a home.

Name: Cledwynn Magouloura (Cledwynn represents his human counterpart, with Magouloura representing his arcane spirit counterpart.)

Species: One part spirit, one part machine, one part organic human matter. ... It's complicated.

Age: This time, he's 20.

Appearance: Oh boy.. Cledwynn is a complex figure. His lower half is an intricate little concept, his upper.. slightly less so. His upper half is completely ethereal, appearing transparent (only somewhat see-through) to the human eye. This upper half boasts a very strange body type, since though it looks average, it contains three long devil's tails stretching out from it in a triad just below his neck. This is usually covered up though- the tails will wrap around his neck like a choker, or around other body parts to simulate accessories. His hair is ethereal as well, and it appears to look mostly like slow-moving liquid or goo, with its length traveling to just below his upper backbone. The hair cannot cover up the aformentioned neck-tails, however- the tails are not ethereal. The transparent half of his body is still colored like a normal human's, however, and he wears clothes over this- a light blue turtleneck that's just a little too big for him, as well as a pastel purple scarf that's worn loosely around his neck.
And now his lower half.
Cledwynn's lower half, starting at the belly button, is completely mechanical. He has two legs like any other human, but they're fake, made from synthetic steel alloys to simulate real legs. They're well built to get the job done, though there are openings within each joint that allows one to see the intricacies and wiring within. In color, they appear as a worn grey. However, Cledwynn wears black sweatpants over them, possibly to match the "clothes are just a little too big but also kinda poofy" motif. He does not wear shoes, he needs his feet free for propulsion purposes.
Finally, if you were able to peer inside him (which required removing his upper clothing) one would see a beating human heart and a functioning brain. The devil's tails connect to his heart and are a primary source for his ethereal life- they must circulate blood where his (nonexistent) veins cannot, and he risks fading from existence if the tails cannot do this. They are also very sensitive and easily damaged or hurt. His brain and heart can only be seen, however, should he choose to make his form look less visible to the human eye.

Personality: Luckily he has his brain and heart. Cledwynn is a little reserved and tends to be regretful, especially when touching on his memories and curse. For a male, he tends to have a motherly aspect about him, and tends to settle disputes through activities that cause no physical harm, such as playing a fighting game or politely debating over a nice cup of whatever beverage the debatees prefer. However, he can also be rather dense, oblivious, and blunt about how he feels, even if he doesn't have all the information on a given situation. If, though, he has information, he can be very analytical and technical, and it shows in his work with machinery, which did not leave him as he traveled from person to person.

History: Cledwynn lived as many an unknown name. During his first birth he was named Cornelius Nasiade, and grew up as a very pompous and spoiled adult. During this time, he meddled with godly issues by pretending to be a god himself, thereby angering one of the many true gods of his timeline, who in turn inflicted him with not only death, but a curse as well. The Curse of Absent Reincarnation. Cornelius died at the hands of an angry god, but due to the curse, he was reincarnated as someone else unknown to the world. The curse, though he didn't know it yet, was on him eternally- and its purpose was to reincarnate him as someone insignificant every time he died, and have him placed in a random position within the universe with the intent that he would have to suffer the pain of death for eternity. He would also be forced to remember each person he once was, and each time that version of him died. As a sign of amusement, three devil's tails were placed just below his neck as a constant reminder of the curse. Often times he would be placed within something like a wall, or the Sun. Sometimes he'd be placed several meters underwater and die soon after, only to be placed in a desert afterwards. When, finally, he was placed in a somewhat stable living condition, he first consulted another god concerning the curse, and was given an ersatz black magic to fight it. This magic was intended to go directly to him, and it would counteract death and the curse, though he would have to live on as a spirit. Instead, he devoted all his time to creating something that would aid him, which, initially, was a mechanical body that could withstand death, thinking that if he imbued his heart, brain, and the black magic into it, that he could compromise its drawbacks and live forever. During this, though, he contracted an illness that stopped him from working, and decided to end the project early, donning the unfinished mechanical body as his legs. The illness killed him, but thanks to the aforementioned arcane arts, he was brought back as part machine, thanks to the mechanical legs, and part spirit, due to the magical essence in him. In this death, he was brought back in a random part deep within space. Now he lives as Cledwynn Magouloura, a tourist of the worlds, multiverses and stars.

How did you get here?: Quite literally was spawned into space, and found the Restaurant during exploration of the infinite starscape.

Brief description of the world your character came from: Cledwynn lived initially as Cornelius in a reality where regions feuded with one another over both political debates and preferences of which of the several hundred gods to follow.

Name: Levi McLeod
Species: Human
Age: 33
Appearance:

Personality: INFP. (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceptive)
History: Levi McLeod was in the military for 6 years after high school; afterwards, he became a security guard for a local bank. On his off time he was obsessed with worldbuilding and character development. He wrote 12 novels, created 6 youtube series, and designed 4 tabletop RPGs. After having a mental breakdown because he found out he was a fictional character, created by someone called "The WorldWeaver," Levi found himself in an asylum. However, he was once again visited by the WorldWeaver's messenger, an Author's Ambassador, who took him on another metaphysical journey.

How did you get here?: Author's Ambassador Yylya brought him.

Brief description of the world your character came from: The year is 2022, and the United North America (US, Mexico, Canada) is a dystopia created by greedy politicians and corrupt corporations. However, without a doubt, the biggest travesty is that all cars look the same, with only the colors gray, black, white, and dark blue to choose from.

Name: D'ren
Alias: The Infamous
Species: Human
Age: 38
Occupation: Dimension-invading warlord from hell
Appearance:

Personality: D'ren is a hedonistic sociopath; he cares for nobody and nothing, save for power and his own pleasure. His major vices are pride, wrath, and lust. He has very few redeeming qualities, however, he has a strange weakness for chivalry toward females that are loyal to him. As a sociopath, D'ren does not experience strong positive emotions such as remorse, sadness, empathy, or compassion. Rage, however, is one strong emotion he is capable of feeling, though it is usually momentary and calmed if he feels like he is in control.

History: [ABRIDGED VERSION] Lost his family when he was a teen; unbeknownst to him, became stalked by a fallen angel which will forever influence him (Samy'azaii); became a hell-lord's (Dagon) apprentice in a realm called Malevora; took the third throne of the hell realm beside his hell-lord mentor, becoming the first and only mortal ruler of a hell realm; conquered many worlds and civilizations; enslaved many species, one of which issued him his infamous nickname (The Infamous) and facial scar; a slave uprising caused his exile; returned with a vengeance and way more powers/armies to retake his throne; banished his hell-lord mentor; caused a civil war in hell (he and Hades VS Baal, Anubis, Moloch, and Lucifer; Hel remained neutral); won said civil war, at a huge cost; ruled all of hell except Baal's realm; was betrayed by those closest to him (moon goddess/vampire Selune) and left the realm as it crumbled into nothing; met and fought his good doppelganger from another reality (Elijah Abdiel McDonnell AKA the Defender of Reality); joined said doppelganger's organization (Reality Defense Knights) when he fell in love (with the immortal Arien), and a bigger baddy (dont remember who it was) threatened to destroy everything; had a baby (Celeste) with his wife and sent said baby to live in another dimension where time moves faster, so she could be safe from evil; D'ren continues to fight evil, reluctantly, with his double's group of reality defenders; helps heaven in a war with hell; is reunited with his now-teen punk daughter; wife and daughter are killed by the god Moloch, with the help of Cronus, Baal, and Anubis; goes to hell to kill Moloch, Anubis, Baal...; Reality Defenders arrest him and puts him into inescapable prison called NightScape, in the Abyss of hell; escapes; for once and for all, kills Baal and retakes his throne in hell, only answering to Lucifer...

Powers: Has 100 individual abilities/powers, due to the Dagon Cube, a device that steals and copies powers from anyone in his realm.
Weapons: The Osiris Dagger (kills anything, like Ruby's knife in SPN), Colt .45 1911 handgun(s), scimitar, knuckle-duster, revolver.
Other: Due to his fallen angel stalker, D'ren cannot be harmed (and rarely affected) by dark supernatural magic and otherworldly powers; this helps him defeat super-powered gods.

How did you get here?: The WorldWeaver sent an Author's Ambassador in the form of his guardian angel Samy and tricked him into trying to conquer this realm (he will find it impossible).

Brief description of the world your character came from:

He spent most of his adult life in Malevora (16 - 28, then 30 - 38), a realm everyone believed was an underworld of hell. It was not until he returned for the last time, when he was 36, that he discovered that the now-dystopic, steampunk-like world was actually - and had always been - Earth, circa 3000 AD, after an apocalypse it never recovered from.

Like hell, Malevora is the native home to a race of reptilian demons called the Skaar. There is a bittersweet rivalry between the Skaar and the Malevoran humans, who claim they were the first inhabitants of the realm. Go figure. The humans, of course, are correct, but neither side really knows their history (since Baal had erased every mention of it being Earth from all databases and libraries), so their claims are based solely on the fact that they really really want to be the native-born race of the land. However, the Skaar and the humans have been known to work together, especially when the lower caste conspired with a few goddesses to banish The Infamous from Malevora the first time.

The sky is perpetually gray and brown with massive rolling clouds, and there is rarely a day that goes by where there is not a storm that encompasses the majority of the realm. This is a truly terrifying and dangerous place to live.

Name: Our most holy lord and savior, Sen the infallibly omnipotent (or just Sen if you're at all reasonable)

Species: Goddess (You can feel free to consider her a genetically unique being, a construct of faith, or a human with a lot of powers, she doesn't really know or care to know)

Age: Physically about 6, chronologically 22, and if her scripture is to believed, her existence is a universal constant stretching back to the beginning of time and on to its end.

Description:

Though it rather irritates her, Sen is usually forced to wear some form of obscenely fancy and sensible clothing for events where she's acting in any sort of official godly capacity. As revenge she'll sometimes make herself look like the sort of child who should be standing next to another child in a hallway to talk about the real estate of their long dead ancestors. Still, austere can be a good image, or so they tell themselves when editing together the creepy goddamn footage. In any case, as a reasonable compromise for the sake of avoiding this, they often let her wear robes or togas, like one might imagine the olympians in. When in these outfits, she seems far more cute and cheerful.

Personality: Sen is, at heart, just a kid. She's curious, talkative, friendly, and innocent, but also short-tempered, oblivious, inexperienced, and foolish. She wants to do good by her followers, but she's not 100% clear on how, so she mostly just obeys her advisors and tries to get them to let her to do what she wants on occasion (for goodness sake).

History and how she got to the resteraunt:
Religious people have, on the whole, probably started more wars in their efforts to bring peace and prosperity to all sentient beings than those sentient beings would've if left to their own devices. Some of them were of the opinion that the other bastards just wouldn't shut up and let them get on with spreading spreading the good word, but others saw the situation with a slightly more nuanced gaze and realized that if all the religious people could just agree on one god, which was provably better than all the others, then all these problems ought to go away.

With that in mind, they set to work; they created a whole religion (scriptures and everything) based around the worship of an utterly omnipotent being who was so pure and innocent that they couldn't possibly bugger everything up like the others. With that (and the help of an old fashioned finite improbability drive combined with a damn good cup of tea), the religion of Perfectism (an irritating name that was unfortunately the best they could get that wasn't already copyrighted) was born, along with its Goddess, Sen.

There was a problem, however. They hadn't quite accounted for what someone would need to be for them to be so utterly innocent like they had asked for, and it was to their extreme annoyance that when Sen finally appeared on the nice alter they had made for her, she was a little girl of about six years old, and she would stay that way, because they had been very clear that their god was an eternal one, damnit, none of this "Dead but dreaming," bullshit.

An omnipotent little girl was not really something anyone wanted; sure, she wasn't vindictive or cruel, but she really wasn't cut out for the job. Worse, all her followers had to obey her orders (a fact that one of the scripture writers got fired over) so they couldn't really do too much to fix it. They sort of just had to guide her and go along with her ideas. When, for example, she was in a meeting with another god who mentioned the end of the universe, and somebody else mentioned that he had once had a damn good lunch there, she absolutely insisted on going to see it.

Universe she came from: Literally the hitchhiker's guide universe. Magic exists but usually isn't worth the trouble unless you were born with it, technology can do practically anything, and space travel has advanced to the point that the whole galaxy is at our fingertips, but we can't go too far past that.

@Pseudo Stygian This is the profile I set up for Yylya. Please let me know if anything needs changing. I've run this by Infamous as well.

Name: Yylya
Species: Mostly human
Age: 15

Appearance:
A petite teenage girl with pointed ears and a skin-tone that looked almost pink; she wore a knee-length black skirt and dark blue long-sleeved blouse.

Personality: Naive, worries a lot

History: Originally Infamous' creation. Yylya's ownership was transferred over to SilverRain and has forgotten everything before then.

How did you get here?: In her current existence, Yylya is an avatar of those who have missed their stop, be it a bus stop or train station. Or rather, she is the embodiment of a fear of mine. I've slept past stops only to awaken in a seemingly unknown land. It was only until after I had gotten my bearings that I realised I was one or two stops down. Mind you, this happens a lot - enough to become a frequent dream of mine.

Yylya is the younger me who has traveled to a distant land because she overslept and missed her stop. In her own world though, she is a highschooler from a modern world. Her world is normal like ours, and she is familiar with the fantasy universe. Magic doesn't exist, but there is technology like ours.

In the current Restaurant RP, Levi was with her at the beginning, but she suddenly disappeared, only to re-enter the world as the Current Yylya . The Previous Yylya knew that she was a creation and tried to get Levi to accept and adapt to the fact that he was a creation too.

Name: Lexicon Clavicula or just Lexi (pronounced "lax-see")

Species: Morph (a type of humanoid alien)

Age: 23

Appearance: Lexi retains a mostly humanoid physiology. He has an extremely fair complexion, one that is as white as snow. His eyes are green, with black sclera. Put him in a group of humans and he would immediately stand out – however, this is not because of his eyes.
His most noticeable trait would be the six tentacle-like appendages stemming from his back, the bases of which are lined up in two neat rows of three along his spine. These tentacles are black in colour and act as extra limbs to him with each of them able to exert twice that of his arm strength. At first glance, they appear rather slimy as they give off a greenish hue but in truth, they are rather dry; smooth and cool to the touch. They are long enough that they are able to reach around him and stretch a few centimetres further than the length of his arms. Touching them would be akin to touching his hands. They have no suction cups; they’re not octopus tentacles.
His usual attire includes a cropped denim jacket, as it rides up high enough that it doesn’t require a slit in the back to make room for his tentacles. He has enough trouble wriggling in and out of his regular clothes as it is. The rest of his get up consists of a nondescript t-shirt (with a slit in the back from which his tentacles protrude), black slacks, and sneakers with sloppily tied shoelaces.

Personality: Lexi’s a chill guy. He likes a light atmosphere and usually tries to duck out in a tense situation. He’s also rather self-centred, serving to only meet his own needs most of the time. It’s every morph for himself, after all. Most of the things he does is for his own amusement.

History: Since a messy incident involving him being framed for his father’s murder at the age of 14, he’s been on the run. His mother died when he was born and he was an only child, so he had nowhere else to go, no family he knew of whom he could turn to. Since then, he’s joined a couple gangs, backstabbed a few people, learned some magic, and now he just does jobs once in a while. Illegal ones, of course.

How did you get here?: A negotiation gone awry lead to a brief chase, in which, due to a momentary slip-up, Lexi fell victim to a spell he recognised as teleportation magic. The next thing he knew, he was in space.

Brief description of the world your character came from: The most efficient way to describe Evrac, a Pluto-sized planet, would be: a world rampant with magic and monsters. While its inhabitants, most of which are morphs, have reached the stage of civilisation, law and order are close to non-existent. Corruption is everywhere and power, namely magic, is like currency; the more of it they have, the higher a person’s position.
