Seriously though, Chrono Cross is still probably my favorite game to this day. That or Xenogears. Something about those 90's Squaresoft JRPGs just struck a chord. The nostalgia, my dude.


Chrono Cross gets way too little love. It's my favourite game next to IX and, more recently, World of Final Fantasy.

Anyhoo... Market seems to be getting a bit crowded, so I'll probably have Nali either... entertaining kids with stories of her monster hunts, or watching some mage battles I guess.

The simplest solution would be to offer her 6000 gil, but to get something like that had have to sell his treasures... would Sarah be interested in an adventure into the lost Tomb of Solomon? Legend states that he was buried with treasures enough to buy a country. Also a ring, but that ain't important...

It also sounds more like a rip off or a trap versus the usual journey saying... welp, lets trust him! Not like he has any excess foes due to robbing them of a fair trade!

@Ryteb Pymerocealso can't help but feel like if a boulder was rolling at us Indiana Jones style Ryteb wouldnt hesitate to toss Seruh in its path, not that Seruh wouldn't do the same to him.

Actually he'd probably push her over to the side, sacrificing himself for his companion. Of course, being a lucky sod, he'd probably survive due to some string of fate... Though by the laws of fucketh ye, it'd probably be because he got dropped into a worse situation, like a lobster pit.

You laugh now, but lobsters are deadly. Especially sand lobsters.

That would probably be the best way to handle that interaction without it coming across as rather stiff and awkward. That being said, my schedule sucks :D

@Ogobrogo@Demous I was actually wondering about that. Normally how I'd always done collab posts/joint posts was just over PM, where each person added a bit whenever they had time, but I've noticed a lotta people here prefer doing it with everyone all online at once with like etherpad or google docs. How do you wanna do it?

(Any time Friday is good for me, if you wanna do it all at once)
