I've taken time to read through the IC and being honest I'm not seeing what your seeing - so far, there have only been two interactions that have anything sexual featured in them: Fia and Edge, and anything involving Alph; the latter is well within their characters, while the former was more comedic than sexual.

Lance and Fairi was hardly sexual at all, while Lawan and the twins is diabetically cute.

It's also a bit early to take issue with it, seeing as this RP is barely into day 1

@NobodiesHero I'm sorry but I'm siding with @TheHangedMan that being said if others would like to voice concerns I support a group decision over a being the overlord here. If people support a pull back of that kind of content, I will enforce it.

As with Fia and Edge it written completely to show the awkwardness and trouble Fia is going to have adjusting to sharing a room. It is also done to disclose how clueless Auriel is to human habits and show just how far Edward is from a normal teenager boy.

With Alph, well she lives to cause trouble, and is heavily inspired by Greek art which showed the full human form. She would have no qualms with it, which is again played for comedy.

In both they do not discuss the bodies nor linger long on the subject. Much like in anime it is done with restraint to ensure a little fan service at most and more importantly is used to describe a character's manners and habits.

If I felt anything was going to far I'd ask it to stop and if they wish take it to PM.

Now I'm going to get some sleep after this and make a post tomorrow, good night and I hope we can find an amicable resolution. I do not wish to lose a player already on the first RP I've run in nearly a year.

@Apollosarcher I get that you aren't seeing what I am. I went back through the IC, read through it, and found 11 posts mentioning underage nudity or other sexual things involving underage characters. That's a little over one fourth of the posts that are up so far. And I don't mean mentioning of the character bathing or changing clothes.

It may not seem like a big deal to you, but as an adult and a teacher I still find it to be disgusting.

I have nothing against the writing or otherwise of sexual things. Heck, I write adult scenes. That's the key word, adult. All the characters I use are over 18. It's the fact that these characters are by law, children that bothers me so much.

I'll wait until more people weigh in to make the choice of whether I'm staying or not.

I think @NobodiesHero has a point, since most of those seem like being sexual for the sake of being sexual, and I definitely see why it can bother him so much. It's not really how real people would act either. But I think it might be worth giving the RP a chance to progress a bit to see if this kind of over-the-top things continue because it feels like they're trying to establish and emphasize that their characters are like that in the first impression they give. Just wanted to chime in ^_^" Crawling back into my hole now...
EDIT: Also, the reference to an "orgy room" is a good example.

Um, was, was what I did bad? I honestly didn't think it had really any sexual tone about it, since technically Lance was covered. It was more just an innocent embarrassment of the wrong words, and to me that was more comedic than anything dirty.

I mean, I can see how Fia and Edge can be taken the wrong way, but to be honest I think that was completely for comedic purposes as well. "Ecchi" which according to urban dictionary is: "Softcore hentai. Often includes panty-shots, nudity, or perverted situations. Almost always used for humor. Ecchi does not describe actual sex acts," is fairly common in an anime-esque situation, and sometimes even more so with teens (ex. Nosebleeds.)

I wouldn't mind toning it back if it is really such a big issue, but I'm very used to it so you'd have to tell me where the line is drawn.

Every nudity scene depicted in the RP so far was basically made to be a comic relief. There wasn't even a single scene where someone made provocative poses, or more direct insinuations about sex.

Please, read the definition of Ecchi, watch some animes, and watch some porn if you still cannot draw the line between nudity and something outright sexual.

Is there anything wrong with two females taking a bath together? Is there anything sexual in nudity without any other type of context, just nudity by itself? Is there anything outrageously sexual in a male student opening the door, seeing a female student changing herself and immediately run, embarrassed?

or are you the type that gets excited when a mother breastfeeds her baby in a public location? *smug grin*



Anyways, if you say that talking about sex, flirting 'n' etc isn't something that teenagers do IRL, then you've been living under a rock for a looong time...

I'm sorry, but my lil brother (who is 10yrs old) already speaks about kissing, dating & etc.
Teenagers speak about sex 90% of the time. This is not anything outrageous.
Nudity is not something inherently evil or sinful. Have you ever gone to a naturist beach before?
Hint: It is not a crazy orgy, with people copulating like hares everywhere you look.

Being an rp about teenagers living in an academy, its obvious that romance, flirting & other things that teenagers often dp IRL will happen. Its natural. There is nothing wrong about a little ecchiness, using nudity to create funny scenes & etc.

But that's only my 2 cents and many others in this rp agree with me. Hop in the discord and read everything we were talking the other day, honey ;-)

@13org Excuse me? I give my opinion on something and you attack me? I'm one of the few people who would actually be brave enough to mention this sort of thing makes me uncomfortable instead of just outright leaving. But clearly that was the wrong thing to do.

Apparently you, along with everyone else who has replied so far just skimmed through what I was saying and didn't read everything when I tried to explain myself. It's not the nudity itself that bothers me, like I said already I WRITE ADULT SCENES, I watch anime, and yes I'm a woman brave enough to admit that she watches porn.

The thing that bothers me is the fact that these characters ARE BY LAW CHILDREN and despite the fact that it's a common thing and nobody cares anymore UNDERAGE SEX IS STILL ILLEGAL. Age of consent, at least where I live, is 18, which none of these characters are.

And about the whole, all teenagers care about sex thing, I didn't, my circle of friends didn't. That didn't mean that we didn't explore our bodies in the comfort of our own homes, but we we're going around talking about sex all the time just because we could. But I guess we were in the wrong there, and I guess so is saving myself for marriage. Fuck me for having morals, right?

Don't call me honey, especially not in that passive aggressive way that you were using it. I'm not your friend, nor will I ever be.

So, considering that nobody seems to care about my differing opinion and has actually attacked me because of it. I will be leaving this RP. I guess next time I'm uncomfortable with something in an RP I'll just leave right away instead of expressing my discomfort and trying to make things work. Thanks for this lovely learning experience and reminding me why I quit RPing in the first place.

I made the Discord fans annoyed with me when I finally visited the Guild area of it and saw why the Guild is so slow; more posting going on there than here and our own Discord is a prime example.

I know it's fun to chat hell I am as guilty as anyone but it doesn't help keep the RP alive if all our efforts are spent entertaining each other with Tags to videos or memes.

As a Tabletop Game Master I am often forced to stop my players from chatting about work, the Latest Movie or TV show or their car or whatever so that the Game keeps going and we don't lose momentum. I'm not a Tyrant, I'm a Benevolent Dictator and I know how people like to talk with one another and it must be allowed but I also know that if the Roleplay is to continue it must be focused on. I did have breaks because people want snacks or smokes and that was when we would chat.

I mentioned that I think Discord is sucking the life from the guild in my Status and drew several comments on it as Status posts which I usually don't answer because Status is not meant for chatting or Debate which is why I posted it here.

Wow I decided to trace the Discord and Guild numbers today and I was saddened by what my figures show



As can be seen over 50% of those signed into the Guild are on Discord, This is what is sucking the Life from the Guild

So I'm checking in here to see who needs to post or who plans on posting soon. I just want to keep the ball rolling here.
