As everything was going down, she kept an eye on the newcomer. He was being awfully quiet, but she chalked it up as to him just being awkward maybe. And shrugged it off as more lasers and gunfire covered the skies and brought her attention back to the comms. She wasn't entirely sure what was happening, but it sounded like they were now on the offensive after something failed on the Space Station 13's end.

"Alright, so what's the plan when we get inside?" So many things were happening at the same time too quickly. One moment they were being contacted by the space station, then Nails' group's hostage situation, then Mantis' appearance, and now they were suddenly on the offensive. "Can't they give us a second to breathe?"

"Are we aiming to take control of the space station?" Honestly, she has no clue as to how space stations were being run. But it sounded like the logical thing to do for her, besides negotiation which was thrown out the window almost immediately.

Natasha

“There’s a difference between Knowing and Having someone’s name Drake!” Natasha called after him as he left.

With a huff, Natasha decided that situation was starting to spiral; Drake going off on his own and them all now being thrown into the enemy’s jaws. It wasn’t her place to judge however, she was a soldier not a general or anything high enough rank to argue really. Not that It had ever stopped her before…

“Well, if we’re going to go charging into the fires of hell, at least let me go and grab something first.”

Keep your bloody mouth shut or I’ll sew it shut. She thought as loudly as she could.

The psychic warrior was an unplanned hiccup and she thought of the time she and her squad had battled a dragon. Natasha recalled carving through the beast’s eye into its skull with as much detail as she could recall, frenzied shrieks from the beast and all.

The doors hissed shut behind her and Natasha stretched up against the wall. The image of Natasha only shimmered slightly and it’s stretched out arms hid her from view, a small shadow the size of a thumb climbing up the walls to the ceiling. From their Natasha piloted the illusion of her down the hall and made it look as if it was entering a room. Natasha knew that while the cameras would show her entering the room the sensors for the door would report otherwise in the ships logs, but given the situation it was highly doubtful anyone was paying much attention to which doors were opening and closing right now.

Natasha scuttled her way across the ceiling towards the hangar luckily without meeting anyone coming the other way, and thankfully no one following her from behind either. Once there Natasha slipped her way as silently as she could towards the ship she spied Drake sitting in. Natasha thanked her stars Gummi ships weren’t made of metal.

Just under the cockpits rim Natasha sat listening to Drake hurriedly flip through the manual. She waited with baited breath, straining her tiny ears to every sound. One, two, page turn. One two, page turn. One, two, page turning, a shadow slipped over the rim and under Drakes seat.

Wasting no time Natasha scrambled up into the seats innards and out of view should Drake look underneath. Amongst the cables Natasha hoped Drake didn’t have some sort of metal eye or something. She’d wait until they had left before she made herself present.

James

“Holy crap. Their systems are down!”

James stared in amazement up at Blair’s digital visage held aloft above the table. Without losing a second his fingers flew across the keyboards in front of his summoning command boxes into existence.

“Um, Blair was it?” James kept his eyes fixed firmly on what he was typing. “You’re a digital thing, right? I’m about to hijack some of the ships servers and flood Satellite 13 with a crap load of requests.”

James returned a few horrified looks from the crew with an apologetic shrug. “I just need a few hundred IP addresses, we have thousands on this ship alone anyway.”

“Anyway, I have no idea what it might do to you. Possibly slow you down or even get you dragged out as I have no idea where you are currently sitting on our systems so…be careful?

James took a moment to consider what in his life had lead him to this moment where he was treating a computer program like an actual person. To his right a window chimed happily after having found a single sign of life. A grin spread across James’ face.

“On second thoughts, I think I might have something for you.” He began typing into another command window, opening a connection to the thing he had found. ”I have no idea on your file size but hopefully if you strip out what ever OS is in this thing you should have enough room. Hopefully”

Hundreds of miles away a battered and bruised satellite slowly awoke from its long slumber. Like broken wings solar panels unfurled from its sides and sent off small shards spinning around it. If not for the vacuum of space the dishevelled coffin like structure would’ve groaned loudly in protest against the hydraulics inside prising it open. But open it did, and from end several antennae reached out towards the stars and from the other a large barrel pointed towards the planet.

Back on the ship James stared in shock at the image of someone sitting down upon a hillside the satellite was sending him. He could even see what colour their eyes were if he zoomed it in far enough.

“Okay bloody good camera aside. This thing is a cannon of …something. I think.” James frowned at the words and specifications the satellite was sending him. “I don’t know what these words mean but I think it fires an energy pulse of some kind. Like not magic or anything just something hot and fast. Plasma or something?” He shrugged and gave up trying to understand the big long words.

James turned back to his own little bit of code.

“Yeah sure Mai we’ll jump over there in just a tick and wreck some stuff whilst Drake does his thing.” James wore a look of intense concentration. “Just let me add this last little bit…TCP connections established and stream writer set to repeat with no time out and… et voila.”

James slammed the enter button with no small amount of pride at his little program.

“That little station is going to be like an overfilled restaurant and not enough waiters. With any luck their fighters and ships won’t get any readings from it and have no idea what to do.”

From the Ruler of The Sea came a torrent of requests crashing over Station 13 like a tsunami of data packets all clamouring for information. They were already beginning to drown out any information being sent out by the station to its swarm of fighters around it.

“Mai, once we’re on the station we can cause more damage to their systems. Either by smashing everything in our way or hacking in.” He chuckled ion an effort to relax. “Either way works.”

Blair’s smile grew when she was praised by James. She let out a laugh before she explained, “My firewall will never let anything harmful through and into my systems. So don’t” Blair’s green body suddenly changed to red as she began to panic, “No, no, no, no, no. what have you done to me?!” her voice was distorted and within seconds her body scattered into nothing but ones and zeros before they fizzled away in the still air. It seemed Blair had been erased from all existence. seconds went by and it seemed Blair wasn't coming back. Suddenly the ones and zeroes appeared and formed Blair’s body as she floated in the air and began to laugh.

“Oh my god your face,” Blair laughed as she clutched her abdomen and began laughing even harder. She floated in the air bent over for several seconds laughing before she finally composed herself and continued, “Don’t worry about damaging me. My Anti-virus and firewall are top of its class. Also, as for my storage: Let’s just say the human mind can’t comprehend how much storage I can hold. So just gather what you need and I’ll be happy to store it for you.”

A ship jettisoned in front of the screen and disappeared before repairing in the middle of the screen upside down as Drake’s voice came from the center consul, “Stupid fucking instructions! Not shit accelerate is to go faster and the brake is to stop! Why the hell is the manual only two fucking steps!” Drake didn’t know he had accidentally turned on the communications in the ship he was in.
Blair sighed before she waved her right hand towards the screen. The ship corrected itself before Blair said, “You’re so useless sometimes.”

“Blair? Where are you?” Drake asked.

“Still where you left me, but now that I’ve got control of that ship you’re in. I’ll autopilot it towards your destination,” Blair said. Before Drake could respond, the ship shot towards the world and towards the meeting place were Nails waited for him.

“As for you,” Blair said as she turned towards James. Her smile grew as she said, “I’m coming with. Can’t pass up the chance to cause a little computer chaos.”

Tocsax had fallen unconcious, and so cannot say anything. Nevertheless, Damianos can still be heard over the speakers.

"Take control of the space station if you can; you need to defeat the Seeker of Darkness using it, because he has a personal link to the building as long as he remains within it! Basically, if you can drive him off, Blair and James can override the security firewalls and we can transfer the ownership of the space station to us!" The wizard then finished.

Taka

The sword had been removed from Taka and laid to rest on a nearby table in the infirmary, where one Judah bin Isaac was examining it.

"A blade stolen by the Grand Vizier of Alternate Baghdad, and used to exorcise this young man of a piece of a 'Seeker of Darkness'." Instincitvely, he took the blade with his left hand, and slashed at the air, surprising a number of Moogle orderlies.

"A good weapon for a mundane exorcist, but really, this Vizier should have asked me for help," Judah then frowned, before looking behind him to find Akemi Homura behind him.

"Lady Homura," he would lay down the sword. "I have...something to discuss with you." Mincing no words, he continued, "I've been reading records of the 'Original Universe', or if you prefer, the 'Original Timeline'. Let's just say that the very latest entries, made just before Ascot split his world into our Multiverse, do not make for edifying reading."

"Explain," Homura said laconically to the eighteen-year-old Jew, who then talked of various wars, terrorist attacks, epidemics, and economic turmoil. Once Isaac was finished, Homura would continue, "So, do you believe Ascot was right?"

Judah's response was, "No. The very final account says that he made things much worse by revealing the Keyblade's power too soon, and caused all the nations to try and take its power - and Ascot - for themselves. The point of this discussion is; what if by bringing the Multiverse together against the Seekers of Darkness, we are repeating the same mistakes made by the Original Timeline? What if we are putting together people who cannot live with one another in contact with each other, sowing seeds of war and devestation?"

"You're the Keyblade User," Homura said, approaching the sword and taking it for herself, "I think that should be your problem; all I want is for Madoka to be safe."

Judah pursed his lips, "You're selfish. But yes, it is my problem, and all Keybladers'. But, I say this - once Ascot is restored, I am going to give him a good ass-kicking."

Mantis was being nothing, if not polite. Well, as polite as he could be, which in this case boiled down to not reading teammates minds. There were times he couldn't help it, though. For instance, Natasha sent him a thought so loud it was impossible not to hear it. He offered no visible reaction, but he did lean and whisper to Seth, "She doesn't like me." with an indicating gesture toward Natasha who was now exiting the room.

"Don't take it personal." Seth whispered with a shrug, "I'm not sure she likes anyone that much."

Then there was the other woman. She was polite enough verbally, even waving a greeting to Mantis. But unfortunately her nervousness was as loud and clear to him as if she had simply spoken those concerns aloud. So, he decided to explain himself to her, "It helps me stay in control of my powers. The mask, I mean. Otherwise the voices get loud... and painful. They don't just project their thoughts, but their feelings as well... that's probably the worst part of it. Reading a mind is one thing, but feeling its suffering... that's why I need the mask."

"So um... that Space Station. We take that and we've pretty much got them by the balls?" asked Seth, having finally picked his role in the upcoming mission. That meant he was going with Mai... as well as with James and the AI. With a shrug, Seth opened up a Corridor, "Whelp, whoever's planning to help wreck that Station, there's our entry point. Closest I could get it was the entry hanger though. They must have something keeping Corridors from opening any deeper inside. So it looks like we'll have to fight our way in from there."

As soon as the portal appeared, Mantis felt something in the pit of his stomach, "Hold on... they've got something waiting over there. Can't tell what it is from this distance, but it definitely gives me a bad feeling." there was that psychic detection they'd brought him on for. Barely his first mission with the group and he already smelled a trap.

Max stood in the forest, in his Guymelef, his keyblade ready. He was surrounded by a group of shadows. With fast skill and precision, he was able to defeat his foes, only to be surrounded by a bright light. When the light faded, he found himself in a large room. "Um. This ain't good," he said, frowning. He saw large doors on the wall and, with a single thought, began trying to punch through. He didn't know where he was or what was gonna happen but he had to get home. He had to defend Gaea from the black monsters.

James

James still had a hand clamped over his chest from Blairs little ‘joke’. An AI with a sense of humour was the last thing they needed in his mind. At least he thought she was an AI.

“Well we just opened a portal right into their lair.” He tried to make light of the situation with a shrug. “Odds are they know we’re about to appear so…not even a little hint to what they’ve got planned?”

James was still fiddling with his new ‘toy’ as he asked. The little window above the table spun slowly to show Station 13 and the little rivets surrounding its name plate. He almost pressed enter.

He looked up suddenly as if struck by something.

“Space.” The blood had drained from his face. “We’re in bloody space and we’re going to attack a Space Station! Without Space suits!?”

James doubted the shield charm he wore around his neck could handle much more abuse let alone space. The glass bead was cracked all over from all their battles, and after the giant Witch Natasha had been unable to make anymore.

“Mai, I know your world never got as far as space so let me explain.” James took a deep breath and paused for dramatic affect. “Your blood boils and you freeze, at the same time. In space.”
James crossed his arms and leant against the table.

“I’d rather we not just rush in without something in case they open the windows or something and we all die. We got any spells or something for not dying in space?”

James tried not to think about how it felt to travel via corridor as he stared into it.

Natasha

Holding onto the cable for dear life Natasha chalked up another regret to her ever-growing list of regrets. The little gummi ship had an impressive acceleration. So much so that at take-off Natasha had almost been ripped from her perch and splattered across panel behind the seat, as she was in danger off doing so now. The ship jolted again, her legs slipped off the cable and flew widely up and down behind her. She bit down a loud swear when her left foot crunched into bolt.

In the seat above her Natasha could hear Drake talking to the others over the comms system.

So much for revealing myself here for a cosy chat

Natasha silently cursed upon several constellations when her foot hit the bolt again. The ship dipped sharply and Natasha was suddenly thrown upwards. She bit her tongue as something crunched painfully on top of her skull. Whilst blinking back tears and stars Natasha did manage to get her legs back around the cable and lock her ankles together.

Hurry up Drake She pleaded I want to still be alive by the time we get there

Katherine's Setup - World: Chronicles of Darkness/New World of Darkness

Kingdom Hearts, a dimension beyond even the Supernal Realms, the Truth beyond Truth, one which can change Chronicles of Darkness into Chronicles of Light. The X-Blade, pronounced Key-Blade, the protector of Kingdom Hearts as well as a way to enter it.

The Ordinary Keyblade, made in the image of the prime X-Blade, but which has power from one's Heart, just as the X-Blade has the power of Kingdom Hearts.

Katherine Ambrose, the holder of one of these Ordinary Keyblades. A young woman who has attained great power, and now governs the destinies of her world. She hath been raised high.

"Katherine, wake up," she was being shaken awake by one of her friends, the 'Wolf-Blooded'. He or she - Katherine cannot remember because she was so groggy - would then say:

"Someone's at the door; asking for you." In the New World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness, that was usually a bad sign; either Supernaturals or Hunters wanted to play mind games with you, arrest you, or both at the same time. Katherine had been extra-uncautious lately while fighting the Heartless, and that was a bad thing in this universe. "Should we be worried?" the friend knew it was a rhetorical question.

Do not try to escape, Katherine Ambrose; you need not fear harm. Have you not become the arbiter of this world's destiny? The whispers inside her head were firmer. This will be the climax between those who wish that suffering across all worlds be kept alive in the name of 'balance', and those who do not.

She had the option of confronting the unknown person below, or still trying to escape via her bedroom window - she would notice that she was in the bedroom of her house, and that her friend had been sleeping over. If she took option one, she would see that the unknown man was just about her age, although he wore a genuine Special Forces outfit. A closer look would see that he also carried a Keyblade, a keyblade that was currently blue and pastel yellow. If she tried to escape via the window or another way out of the house, she would see...that same young man, only without a Keyblade.

In any case, the young man would introduce himself, "My name is Shahrukh Mizra the Fifth, Keyblade Wielder, and in my world, Sultan of Egypt, Yemen, the Levant and the Hedjaz, Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, and despite my loose sexual mores and relative irreligiosity, an actual Caliph, unlike the terrorist in your world claiming that title. Oh, and Got it Memorized?"

Shahrukh would then continue, "Now, can you let me in your house, so that we can talk?" If Katherine decided to let him in, Shahrukh would bow gracefully and follow her. If she didn't, well, there would be a fight, a fight that would not be desirable in this neighborhood, cause collateral damage, and lead to Hunters and who knows what else arriving. So, assuming she didn't take the second option, Shahrukh would then say:

"You're a Keyblade Wielder, heir to an order of warriors that fought against disorder and stasis both. But that order has been destroyed and efforts to restore it have been hitting a snag thanks to various...extremists trying to destroy what they see as the 'Tyranny of Light'," he would then fold his arms together.

"And, well, I'm recruiting you for a trip to other universes, so that they can be saved," Shahrukh, now coming closer to a streetlamp so that the latter's light would highlight his curly red hair and deep green eyes, would then give an explanation of the mission of the current group of heroes*.

Once the story was done, the young man would then say, "And now, the group finds themselves attacking the world of Panem from Hunger Games, and facing an enemy ambush, even as another faction has acquired the person of the Princess of Heart there, Prim Everdeen. As for me, I can't help them because I'm keeping order in another universe for my friend v2; heck, I'm only here on break. So, will you help my friends, or will I spend more precious hours trying to convince you?"

Upon the sword being touched, the Light it gives off begins to glow even brighter. As it radiates these pure rays, Taka finally wakes from his slumber, his hand instinctively stretching upward as if he were calling upon his Keyblade. The katana vanishes from Homura's hands, re-materializing in Taka's hand. The blade releases a powerful aura, traveling down his arm, printing white flame designs upon his sleeves and coattails. Once this is done, his blade disappears, now replaced by a sunset red Wayfinder. Despite what has been restored to him, he still refuses to remove his hood. "Well then...it seems I've been asleep for quite some time! Would one of you kindly fill me on what has been going on?" He inquires, sounding like a completely different person. His happy-go-lucky demeanor had been resurrected, very few traces of Nobody personality remained, for the exorcism had helped the wielder reclaim not only his memories, but more importantly, his heart. This young man had been rescued from the cold embrace of Darkness.

Judah bin Isaac would nod, unsurprised, and tell Taka, "We're in the orbit of a world/planet called Panem, where our enemy has ambushed us with a Gummi Ship fleet and a space station, as well as ground forces that are occupying the local dystopia. If you're truly all right, the others need your help; I'll guard the Princesses of Heart."

"I see...if regrouping with them means me finally finding her...then I will gladly charge into battle once more. It is high time that I finally show her that my sacrifice that fated night was not in vain." Then, realizing rather quickly that his face was still veiled, he bows his head out of respect. "You have my apologies. I acknowledge that it may be seen as rude that I keep my face hidden from you even now. However, with all due respect, I wish to reveal myself to her first. It'll be a delayed surprise, but a surprise nonetheless." He says.

Katherine fluttered her eyes open, to Adam shaking her. Aprently someone wanted to see her? Had a group of hunters come to investigate, or was the local prince going to be paying her visit to "ask" her to stop her..her..what was she even doing? She was...being a hero, yes, she was. She sighed. One way to find out. She walked down, the man..yes it was a man, introducing himself. She didn't have it all memorized, at all in fact, and she was hoping it was just a joke becuse that was a lot of titles. She let him inside, let him explain himself..how could he expect her to leave her home, with the people that still needed help here? She opened her mouth, her voice calm.
"With all due respect, I'm in the process of trying to save this universe, this world..my home."
"How can I be sure it will be safe when I leave?"

"With all due respect, I'm in the process of trying to save this universe, this world..my home."
"How can I be sure it will be safe when I leave?"

"Hmm..." Shahrukh spoke as he tapped his chin. "The survivors of the Keyblade Order are running out of manpower and experienced members, but I've made arrangements."

And with that, another person would teleport in, a middle-aged man with graying hair, wearing a rich robe of blue and gold as well as a ceremonial headdress depicting a young man with silver-white hair and purple eyes.

"Alexios Apokaukos, Retired Keyblade Wielder and one of the founding members of the Old Keyblade Order. I persuaded him to come out of retirement to help keep your world safe while you are away." Shahrukh finished, causing Apokaukos to give him a mild glare.

"You do realize that I will have to adapt to life outside the Mysterious Tower once more while I do this, right? More to the point, this battle belongs to the younger generation, as this is their Multiverse now." Alexios Apokaukos then conjured up his Keyblade, which was surrounded by five brightly colored Summon Crystals that revolved around it in a circle.

"Summon Archmasters!" And with that, three men and two women, each in long, flowing robes and hoods, and radiating a strong nimbus of power each, emerged out of nowhere to circle Apokaukos himself.

"You are so dead," one of the men said.

"I would agree," one of the women confirmed.

"Oh, shut up!" Apokaukos said, "You know the crisis as well as we do, so help me preserve this world for the next generation!" Looking apologetically at Katherine, the retired Keyblade Master continued, "Before you wonder how someone as powerful as me isn't solving the current crisis...well, let's just say that you have the potential to become more powerful than I can be."

Katherine gazed over the new figures..they did..seem powerful somehow, strong. She let out a sigh. She needed to do this, didn't she? There was more worlds to protect, more people to save. She spoke again, her tone still calm, if a bit..wavey.
"All..alright, I'll do it."

"Thank you," Shahrukh said, before teleporting her to where Seth and the others were!

Gummi Ship Ruler of the Sea

Damianos Sardis spoke over the comms, "Yes, taking the station ought to defeat the enemy army, and yes, we have spacesuits."

And with that, a heap of futuristic latex space suits suddenly appeared at the nearest open space...and so did Katherine, who landed on top of said heap.

"Oh," Damianos said without breaking a sweat, "This girl must be the new person Shahrukh promised to recruit."

Max

Max had been transported by an unknown force to the lower levels of Space Station 13, where sirens and alarm bells were already ringing out, while cyborgs armed with rocket and plasma launchers were waiting beyond the door. These cyborgs, whose human forms were melded with metal parts, were corseted by gigantic spider-tanks, whose fire was enough to seriously shake Max's Guymelef...and those were merely holding back for some reason.

Katherine landed..on top of spacesuits? That was just..odd. Nevertheless, she got up quickly, brushed herself off, and waved towards the speaker.

Max finally broke through the door, only to find a small army of machine-man hybrids. "Not the way out," he said, attempting to push the door back in place. Although it was difficult, he did the best he could before looking for another door. "That can't be the only way out of this room," he said to himself, frowning. For a better view, he opened his face mask, allowing him to see if there was, in fact, another door in the room.

The ship dipped and swerved before finally entering the world’s atmosphere. Drake groaned as he was bobbed back and forth like a rag doll in a dryer. He hiccupped and held his hand over his mouth before swallowing and letting out a sigh, “I really hate moving at this speed.” He’d never been subjected to motion sickness, and moving within lightning wasn’t too bad, but this was a whole different story. He kept the morning's meal down but could taste it slowly creeping up in his throat. However, before it could fully be expelled from his body. The ship began to slow down and gently land on the world’s surface. Drake sat back in his seat and let out a sigh of relief, “Thank God that’s over.”

Drake looked out the window of the Gummi ship and saw the Surge Guardians waiting from him in the desert. They stood in front of a large boulder that was half submerged in the sand. Nails just stood there staring at the Gummi ship with his arms folded. Drake wasn’t sure if he could see inside the Gummi ships window, but his stare sent a shiver down Drake’s back. Alice seemed to be playing hopscotch with lines she drew in the sand to keep her occupied. Pain was there with new skin that covered his metal frame. He seemed to be talking with Panic who stood there, still in his half shark, half human form. He seemed to be a little annoyed at how hot it was. Sitting in front of Panic was Prim. She seemed scared out of her mind as Panic seemed to look down towards here and give her a toothy smile. Mark and Viper were there as well, but they seemed to be in a heated argument about something. It seemed Zack and Damien were absent from this meeting or just out of sight.

“Alright, let’s get this over with,” Drake said before he stopped himself and added, “if you’re still with me, then make sure when I open the hatch. You use whatever magic you have to turn off your hearing. Since Damien isn’t in sight and he uses sound to create illusions. Best to have backup that can help.” Drake waited for several minutes to let Natasha do whatever it is she was going to do before he opened the hatch and climbed out of the Gummi ship.

Nails snapped his fingers and the Surge Guardians behind him stopped what they were doing. He waited until Drake was several feet away before he said, “So you came after all. Knew those bastards you replaced us with made you a Goody Two-Shoes.”

“I see Prim, but not the other hostage,” Drake said calmly. Inside he was shaking with rage. If he could he’d go after Nails and the others right now, but he knew he needed to play this game to save both Prim and Jinx.

“Alice,” Nails ordered. Alice nodded as she giggled and a ripple appeared high in the sky. From the ripple, a large mummified bird soared out and into the open air and circled before landing on the boulder behind the group. On its back was a bronze sarcophagus that was chained to its back. The chains seemed to come from its own body as green ooze dripped from the open wounds caused by the chains. The sarcophagus slid open and from it came the red-haired woman wrapped in cloth like a mummy. The straps from the sarcophagus placed the woman on the ground gently before they retracted back into the sarcophagus.

“Jinx!” Drake yelled as he began to run towards her.

“Not so fast,” Nails said with a smile as Panic moved one of his sharpened claws close to Prim’s throat. Drake quickly stopped and glared at Nails who continued, “Are you truly going to choose Jinx over the girl you’re so called buddies are looking for?” Drake’s hands balled into fists before he calmed himself with a long breath.

“I’m choosing both of them,” Drake finally said after a long while. Nails let out a large, long laugh as he shook his head in disbelief.

“How dumb have they made you? I told you in my message: you can only choose one since you have nothing else to bargain with.”

“But I do,” Drake said before he lifted his right arm and a hologram of a list appeared above his watch. He pressed several images before Nails own watch began to blink and let out a chime. Nails lifted his arm and a hologram of a vile appeared above his watch’s face.

“What the hell am I looking at?” Nails asked.

“The Shadow Nexus Primal,” Drake explained before he continued, “A much more powerful strand of the Shadow Nexus.” The image above Nails watch disappeared as a smug smile formed on Drakes' face. Nails continued to look at where the hologram once was and then looked over at Drake before a sadistic crooked smile formed on his face.

“So let me get this straight: you’re trading yourself and this Shadow Nexus Primal for these two?” Nails asked. Drake simply nodded. Nails looked back at the group of Surge Guardians before he looked back at Drake and said, “Agreed.”

“Good, but I need to let Prim and Jinx into the ship so they can be transported back to the ship,” Drake explained. Nails nodded and snapped his fingers. Panic seemed to let out a frustrated sigh before he used his large black claws to slice the bindings around Prim.

Prim quickly got up and rushed over to where Drake was. Meanwhile, Mark walked over to the mummified Jinx and picked her up before slinging her limp body over his right shoulder and walked over to Drake.

“Put her in the ship,” Drake ordered. Mark snorted but did as he was told. Drake smiled and added, “Thanks a ton Mark.”

The newcomer had explained his reasoning for the mask, and partly for why she felt that he was off somehow. "So he can read minds then? Wait, is he reading my mind right now?" Mai immediately tried to deflect her thoughts to something else, something nice hopefully. One of the past was the first to come to mind. A time of when things were simpler before the Heartless and Nobodies came. "...I do miss those days."

Before she could lose herself in her small moment of daydreaming, as James was talking with the AI, he had suggested that they'll just rough up the place while Drake was busy. "I'm up for smashing things sure. Just tell me which ones I can smash and what I probably shouldn't." Definitely wanna avoid accidentally blowing up the entire place or something.

"Well, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a trap setup for us. Things can never just be simple, can't they?" She shrugged as Mantis had mentioned a bad feeling coming from the portal that Seth had created that would bring them to the entry hangar. "No idea what it could be though." A horde of soldiers? Tanks? Alien robots?

The girl did lose some color to her when James had suddenly explained what happens when someone is in 'space' without this 'space suit'. It sounded terrible, and probably very painful. "OK, please tell me what I can hit or not. I really wouldn't want to experience the blood boiling part." A bad first impression of space definitely. She has had a lot of battle scars and injuries in the past, but hearing that did unnerve her a little.

"Do we need more man power? Maybe Taka has something up his sleeve that could help?" She briefly wondered what happened to the Nobody. She hadn't seen him after the hospital episode back in Madoka's world, so she got a little worried that he might have disappeared or something.
