I mean from a logical standpoint it wouldn't be odd to make an intuitive leap assuming that Terry is the successor to the mantle but do we know for sure that the Batman who's training us isn't the same one that defended Gotham forty years ago?

Sometime before the end of the day, hopefully/most likely. Been dealing with a large stressful situation and I don't have that great of computer access when I'm not at work.

Hey @Demon Shinobi, just a little thing. Names are very fluid things for my character. She ties each one more to a persona than to her identity specifically, as evidenced by the list of different identities at the start of my post. Gloria is to her more like her starting point than who she actually is so even if (or rather when) the Titans find out who she was it's unlikely that she'll begin using that name again. In that vein I was hoping that in your posts you'd refer to her as Katty (or whatever other derivative of Catherine Red would prefer). It sort of helps maintain the idea that this is who she really is and avoids the potential confusion of someone accidentally calling her by her birth name in IC. I'm not going to hold you to it so if you really don't want to do it or you forget I'll not harp on about it. This is just my preference.

@Prince of SeraphsOh I have no problem with that at all. I don't think I had him call her Gloria, but I definitely used the name. So I will try to edit soon as I can, probably tomorrow as I'm about to hit the sack. But thanks for letting me know. I may actually forget at times, so please don't think I'm every doing it just to be a dick. Unless she and Red are in a fight way down the line of the narrative and he actually does it to be a dick. But still, I'll try to keep it in some variation of Catherine most if not all the time unless certain situations pop up.

EDIT: scratch that I just decided to edit now before sleep, which I did lol even added in him calling her "Katty" when answering her question about the card. Mostly cause I felt it fit most in the flow of his speech at that moment. But still, all edited.

So like, two things lol
1) Red Arrow probably about to blush hard. Very noticeably might I add.
2) so if somebody carries Carmelita, and she transfers the speeds, and they run with her, would be possibly for them to communicate normally even if only for a minute as they would both be moving at the same speed and sharing very similar of not the same level of enhancing perception?

They could communicate just fine with her at that point, but she's just a passenger at that point. Her own body can't be accelerated.

@ProProoh I know she can't be accelerated. I'm just asking cause that could come in handy in the field. For planning and stuff. Even if she's just the passenger, if it helps why not? Lol

I think Calvin would be the best choice for giving her rides. She can speed him up and he can make her light as a feather so his mobility won't be affected.

Also, @Prince of Seraphs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Katty is a bit Kitty Pryde rift. Power wise I mean. I think. I remember something about that. Regardless, her power could essentially work in reverse couldn't it? Make her durable and strong? I know it could have bad repercussions on her body, but it's possible right? I mean ultimate universe Kitty Pryde did something like that, so I figure Kat might be able to.

@Demon Shinobi That's a different power. It's called density manipulation. Katty's got phasing but it's not like Kitty Pryde's. Shadow Cat phased by causing her own molecules to pass through the space between the molecules of whatever she was phasing through. Phantom Girl alters her quantum frequency to be on a different molecular axis to normal matter. Same end result but achieve by a different process.

The upside though is that if Katty altered the quantum frequency of only part of an object it would fall away from the larger whole on a atomic level. Her body is essentially designed be be able to be partially intangible and have her parts and fluids transition between the two states. Other matter doesn't have that advantage.

Also the Ultimate Marvel Universe was almost complete crap.

And I guess to each his own when it comes to the ultimate universe. Although to be fair I did only read the Ultimate Spider-Man run. Which I really liked up to the end. Although again, to each their own

@Demon Shinobi Almost complete crap, there was a handful of good ultimate titles. Spider-Man was one of them. X-Men and Fantastic Four were not.

Ultimate Comics just got in the habit of killing off too many characters for shock and awe and changing characters up completely for the hell of it. Colossus and Nightcrawler have both worn thigh high boots in the 616 universe so they were made gay in the Ult. Universe where they never even wore those suits...

I WILL say, I thought the idea of the Thing going all Wonderman-lite was cool when Reed was out of the F4 and slowly becoming the badguy. Wolverine being the universe's Cable was lame. Ult. Cap was just a modernized Cap and worked. The alien Capt. Marvell was cool with the morphing tech suit. Ult. Capt. Britain was also pretty badass.

They put themselves into a corner with that universe and then there was no going back. The New Ultimates didn't take and Miles sales were slowly declining. Ult. Future Foundation couldn't compete with actual well thought out team books [the cast included a neutered Ironman or X-51 I can't remember, Falcon, Invisible Girl, and I can't even remember who else... and the X-Men just had way too many deaths to have a decent team.

@Member 00492 What are the chances we could see a return of the Batman Beyond villain Ian Peek. I know it's a bit of an MCU cliche but I'd be really interested in an intangibility v intangibility fight.

Peek was never really a fighter to begin with, though. Just a really sleazy media man that enjoyed being untouchable. Anybody with a strategic mind and the right know how wouldn't have much resistance to put up with.
