PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Snake is a tall, muscular man with short brown hair, a short beard of stubble, and green eyes. His right eye was damaged by Revolver Ocelot so Snake decided to cover the damaged eye with a simple black eyepatch. Snake's only accessory is a simple olive green bandana he keeps tied around his forehead with the remaining fabric trailing behind his head. Snake has a tendency to walk around partially crouched or in a combat stance even when in relative safety.

Snake's only outfit is his signature Olive Drab Camo which he used extensively during the Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater. The Camo is a dark olive green shirt and pants speckled and striped with slightly lighter and darker shades of green. It also includes dark green combat boot, gloves, and several small satchels and a harness for carrying ammunition, small objects, and weapons. The Camo is good for hiding and moving in forests thanks to resembling foliage and protecting Snake from the elements.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Snake was born around 1935 and joined the military in the 1950s, soon becoming the disciple of a legendary war hero "The Boss." The Boss began training Snake in various fields including hand to hand combat, stealth, marksmanship, survival, and more. Snake and the Boss even developed a new style of hand to hand combat called CQC that focused on disabling the enemy before they could even fire a shot. in 1959 The Boss and Snake went their separate ways.

After Snake and The Boss separated Snake spent several years in the Green Berets further honing his skills until he became a fearsome sniper in several environments and a survival expert. By this time he had received more than 6 medals based on his loyalty and incredible skills.

On August 24, 1964, Snake participated in an operation called the Virtuous mission as a member of the CIA's FOX unit. The mission was to infiltrate Tselinoyarsk and rescue a scientist named Sokolov. The mission went smoothly at first with Snake easily infiltrating the base Sokolov was held in and escaping after a brief battle with Major Ocelot. Everything went wrong when the Boss suddenly defected to the enemy. The Boss brutally beat Snake into submission and hurled him off the bridge they were battling on and into to the river below. The Boss and her elite "Cobra Unit" delivered Sokolov as a gift to Colonel Volgin and Snake's mission was a complete failure.

Snake was taken to an Intensive Care Facility in America to recover and be interrogated over The Boss's defection. They eventually reached the conclusion that Snake would be pardoned if he undertook another mission to eliminate The Boss and recover Sokolov and his notes from Colonel Volgin.

Snake was redeployed only a little over a week later in Operation Snake Eater. Snake arrived back in Tselinoyarsk to attempt to meet up with an informant with the code name ADAM. Instead, he was met by someone claiming to be his partner EVA. Snake trekked through the forest sneaking and battling KGB forces, Major Ocelot, and The Cobra unit. Against all odds Snake made it to Volgin's fortress, Groznyj Grad. Snake attempted to rescue Sokolov but The Boss and Volgin saw through his disguise and captured him

Volgin began to torture Snake and Sokolov, quickly killing the fragile scientist and leaving Snake heavily injured. With the help of EVA and a Fake death pill shot into him by The Boss Snake managed to escape his cell and flee into the jungle. EVA and Snake reunited near a river near the fortress and EVA returned all of Snake's gear as well as C3 to destroy the Shagohod, a massive tank capable of firing nukes that Volgin was developing.

Snake planted the C3 and destroyed the Shagohod's hanger as well as damaging the tank. After a prolonged battle with the Shagohod and Volgin Snake managed to destroy the machine and kill Volgin. As he and Eva were escaping into the jungle something.... strange happened

The Event

Snake was suddenly torn away from his world and found himself in some strange wasteland that looked like a strange mix of several locales. Snake picked a direction at random and began sneaking through the wasteland. For hours on end, he went through the wasteland, lucky to meet an animal to eat much less a human. While on top of a hill Snake decided to scan the surroundings with his scope. Through the scope, he managed to spot the edge of something that looked man made. 2fort

~SKILLS~

Naked Snake is a master of numerous combat, survival, and stealth skills.

Stealth- Snake can make effective use of Camo to disguise himself in almost any environment and use shadows and obstacles to slowly approach targets without being seen.

Combat- Snake is an expert marksman with almost any weapon given to him including shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles, machine guns, pistols, revolvers, rocket launchers, mounted machine guns, mortars and more. In addition, Snake has mastered the art of CQC which allows him to quickly and quietly defeat elite soldiers in close range combat. In particular, he has mastered throws, grabs, holds, strikes and can even make use of short range weapons in conjunction with hand to hand combat

Survival- Snake is excellent in survival and wilderness situations. Snake can chow down on almost any non-rotten non-poisonous food source regardless of its origin including snakes, spiders, crocodiles, fish, fruit, herbs, frogs, and birds. Snake has also been trained to fix his own injuries to speed their recovery or restore their function and can do the same for his allies.

~SPECIAL ABILITIES~

Survival viewer- The survival viewer allows Snake to quickly and efficiently assess cure wounds that he really shouldn't be able to heal (a bullet or crossbow bolt in his back or a broken arm) In addition it allows him to carry a very large amount of medical supplies like bandages, gauze, and splints with him at all times. He can even use it on allies as well. It also allows him to swap Camo and face paint on the fly.
~Perks~

Fast healing- Snake heals very quickly from injuries and can recover to the point where a major injury no longer slows him down a little more than a week after receiving it. Although the injury will not be fully healed, just healed to the point where Snake can operate normally in spite of it.

~Faults~

Matabolism- Snake's stamina can quickly run out from being in harsh environments, healing from injuries, and combat. Snake can hunt for and eat whatever wildlife is in the area but he will quickly burn through his stock of rations and food if he spends an extended period of time infiltrating an area with no wildlife or battling foes. As Snake's stamina falls his speed and healing rate slows down. At very low stamina Snake is likely to lose focus, have shaky hands, stumble, and possibly be given away by his stomach growling.

~Weaknesses~

Despite his immense physical prowess Snake is still just a normal human being and any injury that is decidedly fatal like a headshot, or being crushed is sure to kill him just as it would a normal human.

Snake is very inept in social situations and terrible at reading people unless he does so from a warriors perspective. Which is no help in most cases

Snake was heavily reliant on his support team giving him information about the environment, animals, and telling him what his objectives were. Without them, Snake doesn't know what to do other than survive.

~INVENTORY~

Olive Drab Camo- a uniform made for sneaking in the jungle and forests. The uniform keeps out bugs, dirt, and other small annoyances common to a forest. Thanks to its coloration and pattern it can be hard to see Snake when he is among foliage, aiding his stealth. However, the Camo was made for general forest areas. There are other Camo types that would ultimately be more effective for hiding among leafy plants, trees, or muddy environments

Survival knife- a small and absurdly durable knife that can be used in combat or for hunting if the need arises. The knife is very sharp and has uses besides combat.

Cardboard box- It's..... a box.

Scope- A pair of binoculars that Snake can use to scan his surroundings and look at people and objects from a distance

Codec- The codec is an (almost) unjammable communication device that enables two-way communication between two people by using a secure frequency.

Facepaint kit- This allows Snake to apply face paint to better hide his face while sneaking. He has face paint for jungle, forest, and river environments.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Almost always wearing his white coat and rubber gloves in the field, The Medic looks like a doctor. He has a long pointed face and greying sideburns, but overall his hair has kept its dark color. Under his coat, he typically wears a waistcoat and dress shirt. He practices good posture, almost always standing up straight, making his 6 feet of height seem just a little taller.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Little is known about the man known to most as "The Medic". What is known is that he was raised in Rottenburg, Germany during a time when then Hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional Hippocratic suggestion. He claims to have had a medical licence at one point, but lost it after stealing every bone in a patient's body.

Beyond this point, it's easier to list what he's done than to try and form a cohesive time-line. By 1972, his list of notable doings include:
- Stolen the catering van from the Prime Minister's wedding, in the process stealing the dove that would become his pet, Archimedes.
- Sold his soul to the Devil, only to surgically implant eight more souls, thus getting him out of hell
- Invented the Ubercharge Device and the Medigun
- Developed a device that allows him to revive his team-mates in the field, as opposed to waiting for the respawn system to kick in, useful during the Grey Mann Incident.

Eventually Saxton Hale, CEO of Mann Co. lost a fistfight to a small girl and lost control of Mann Co. to Gray Mann. The first thing Gray did was fire the Mercenaries, including The Medic. Thankfully he was brought onto the Team Fortress Classic team to replace their missing medic. Working as a bit of a double agent, he managed to bide his time and help his old team destroy the TFC Mercenaries.

Unfortunately for them, The Event occurred, leaving a bunch of plot threads hanging. The Medic was quite confused to find himself separated from his team, and back in the town of Teufort.



~SKILLS~
Medicine: The Medic, funnily enough, knows how to heal people. While he clearly shows a tenuous grasp of medical ethics, this skill has been invaluable to his team in the past.

Mad Scientist: Mr. Ludwig has done morally bankrupt things in the pursuit of science. While nowhere as technically inclined as Mr. Conagher, he has invented the Healing Ray, several variants of the Medigun, and the Uber-Charge Implant.

Combat Medic: While most doctors only work under conditions such as 'Sterile Environments' and 'Not Being Shot At', The Medic works on the battlefield. While his team-mates are better equipped to fight than he is, he did have his own weaponry and knew how to use it.

Fast on his Feet: The Medic, used to being a main target on the battlefield, is quite spry for someone his age. He runs faster than normal, about 107% the speed of an average person.

~SPECIAL ABILITIES~
Regeneration: While nowhere near the level his medigun can provide, the Medic has the ability to passively regenerate from wounds.

~Perks~

Infernal Medicine: The Medic is a damn fine doctor. In fact, he sold part of his soul for it. Any sort of medical device, procedure, or drug is simply more effective in his hands than a it otherwise would be and he can sometimes get away with doing things medically that Just. Shouldn't. Work. See: Stealing every bone in a patient's body while leaving them alive enough to wake up, successfully returning multiple person's blood to their body by simply pouring it into their chest after soaking it off the ground with his underwear, and surgically implanting 8 more souls into himself weasel his way out of Hell.

~Faults~
Infernal Debt: While the Medic is technically a majority owner of his soul still, Hell still owns 2/9ths of it. They also don't appreciate the fact that he screwed them out of his soul Any and all creatures that could be described as 'demonic' are more hostile towards him.

~Weaknesses~

The Medic just has a tendency to rub people the wrong way. Maybe it's the accent. Maybe it's the fact he's a mad scientist. Maybe it's just the fact he wears glasses. Either way he just comes across as slimy, making him hard for him to gain people's trust.

He also is physically weak, and not used to fighting on his own. This also extends to a bit of cowardice, making him easy to browbeat and intimidate. He much prefers to fight behind others, and is not above bailing on his allies when things go bad.
