As the Angelic armies swarm towards the three characters, Zeruel attempts to stay near the back and let his troops deal with them first. Of course, if they fail to, then he'll come in to wipe them out. While he expects that the Demons will fight, which they are, it seems that Miyu has become a traitor within Heaven's army. Why did she decide to leave her faction? Regardless, in his philosophy, once a traitor, always a traitor. He really didn't want to fight her, rather he wanted save her from these two demons. Looks like the misunderstanding will have to be dealt with later.

In regards to the traitor, she appears to be keeping the vicious Gaghiels away from the pier for a good period of time, all while chomping on a sandwich. Of course, the ravaged and chaotic Laguna clones, try desperately to capture her in their own way, harassing her as they chomp their teeth. Perhaps a trick had given her an upper hand in her struggle as the entire pier became destroyed and boards came down on a good portion of the Gaghiel fleet. While it did little to halt their advance, the ocean had a layer of oil in which it caught on fire and kept the sea monsters at bay for a time. Miyu having some of the silver eye spears that Henry wielded prior, used them to stab the creatures with spears as they rain down from the sky. Only minimal casualties were obtained, as most of the weapons missed their vitals, but of course, they won't be letting her get away so easily. As Miyu tries to fly back to shore, one of the Ramiels attempt to grab her by the shoulders. If successful, it would issue a firm grasp as it attempts to bring her back to Zeruel as it flies over the ocean of sorrow and sickness.

Meanwhile, the Laguna Leader faced the two demons as they came towards him. Henry III was one of these demons, forming a battle suit around him as he attempts to combat the mighty angel. Ah yes, Zeruel remembers him back from Arcadia. He was the guy who tried to suck him into a black hole after getting shot down by Bastion. Certainly he will not be going easy on the demon. Now in his humanoid stage, he is now much more capable in maneuvering from any of his incoming shots. As for Fran... well he can't see Fran just yet. The only hint of her existence in battle are several miniature hell-leviathans that engaged the Gaghiels in the water. Now these creatures have locked onto his position, or so it seems, waiting to fire upon him via an opening. But before they may get a chance in shooting him down, several other Gaghiels within their vicinity attempt to blast them with their own beams. They will not let them get a pot shot off their master.

Regardless, Zeruel will deal with the leviathans in time. He glances upon Henry as he comes in for an attack. Zeruel's tendrils flare up around him in a defensive position as two large tendrils burst out in an attempt to spear him. These tendrils were incredibly fast, leaving no more than two seconds for Henry to dodge. If they hit, it will knock him back a considerable distance.

Despite the wall that erected in between the two fighters, Titanica's fist was able to break the barrier with little effort as it sends Khaine skidding across the hall. As his visor hisses, the lizard-woman looks upon the hellish warrior, her eyes continuing to glow a bright-hot blue color. Her spines begin to pulse as she goes for another atomic breath. Yet before she could fire it, she senses the ground below her shift suddenly. Again she leaps into the air as spears began to form underneath her. As she leaps, she recognizes the strategy from her previous fight from Iona. This is an attempt to hinder her movement, to keep her busy from unleashing her full destructive power. And while that's a good observation on her part, the next question was how to land without getting gored?

Using the same force behind her recent punch, Titanica's legs and feet began to morph into giant pillars of meat and scales. Once she lands, she feels the tips initially scrape and pierce the bottom of her feet, followed by the sound of steel and ground breaking beneath them. Regardless, the fact that her massive legs were able to mitigate the damage that could've been deadly was indeed a lucky feat of her's. She quickly issues a massive tail swipe, her tail elongating as if it belonged to a large beast, as it swipes a large several meter circle of these spears away from her range.

However, as she looks up, she immediately sees a giant cannon pointing in her direction. As the cannon fires, Titanica attempts to dodge it with as much speed as she could muster. Unfortunately, the time that her legs had to revert back into regular human legs costed her speed, as the spear would just scrape her left side, leaving a wound. She hisses in pain as she regains her footing. Her opposite arm clutches her side as she looks up at the cannon. Not leaving another second behind, her spines pulse as she fires another atomic beam straight at the weapon's cannon in an attempt to destroy it. She wasn't going to allow Khaine to land another shot on her.

Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

@Lmpkio@The 42nd Gecko

Henry scoffed at Zeruel's pathetic attempt at an defense, cutting down one tendril in the blink of an eye and jumping over the second one at the same time, forming a Silver halberd in his hand and pinning the tendril down as he landed back on the ground. As he continued his sprint he formed a Silver chain in his hand, which rocketed towards the massive battleaxe he had left embedded in the pier during his fight with Miyu. It wrapped around the handle with ease and Henry pulled, sending the battleaxe speeding towards him. He swung the chain up, swinging the battleaxe up into the air and then downwards , dropping the massive axe on Zeruel with all the speed it had accumulated plus the force of gravity from dropping such a heavy weapon. As this happened Henry swung at where he guessed Zeruel's legs were with the Cheater's Blade, if it hit it would cut straight through his defense, no questions asked.

"Let's go this way. I think that the explosions are coming from there," Diana said as she and the maggot girl retreated from the battle between Khaine and Titanica. The direction to which Diana pointed, was more or less the one from where the battle between Zeruel's Laguna and Henry's group was taking place. In an effort to draw Titanica there, Diana dragged her tail against the dungeon floor and walls, leaving behind a noticeable scent trail that the other lizard would be able to track with ease.

Khaine, Oblivion Depths -

With a high-pitched whine and the sound of distant screams Godfall whirred to life, slicing into the beast's side. Glad this strategy had landed not one but two hits on his enemy Khaine knew there would be a response. And the creature didn't respond, once more glowing up blue as it aimed a beam of blue-and-white light at Godfall, and Khaine behind it. Knowing that the weapon was too valuable to risk Khaine instantly returned it to the Armoury, even as he shot to the side in order to evade the attack. Even with the fore-warning granted by Titanica's scales glowing up blue he was only able to avoid a direct hit, and the blast engulfed him. Launched head-over-heels by the shockwave from the blast's impact, he was caught by his web of chains. Swiftly janked off off and away he made sure any secondary blasts would have a much harder time targetting him, and got ready to make another move.

Luckily, Khaine had been forged in the flames of hell. While designed to be incredibly durable in general he was particularly resistant to heat. Lava was a hot bath for him, and little more. And while not composed of flames this breath weapon did appear to make use of heat to destroy it's enemies, moreso than kinetic energy or any other force. As such he'd been able to survive the blast with only minor damage, stuff he'd be able to swiftly recover from. Of course that wasn't to say he was confident in his ability to survive a direct hit - such an attack would most certainly blow holes in him, melting away significant portions of his body, even with his ability to resist heat-based attacks. But as long as he was able to predict the blasts there was no real chance of taking a direct hit, and he was certainly able to outmanoeuvre the beast.

Knowing he'd found his advantage Khaine launched himself through the sky along his web of chains. Analysis of his opponent during combat had shown him the length of the creature's limbs when extended to giant-size. With this knowledge he soared far out of it's reach, even as it once more called upon the powers of the Armoury. A thought opened up portals near Titanica's feet, as solid walls of black steel surrounded her on all sides. At the same time spears would once more erupt from the ground below her, as well as emerging from the air above her. Sandwiched in between these the beast would have no choice but to charge through the walls, on the other sides of which she would find lances set to pierce her body if she tried. The trap was completed by once more summoning Godfall while in mid-swing, orbitting the pillar at irregular speeds. While simply firing the weapon blindly through the walls might yield some results it would occupy Khaine, and might betray his position, allowing the beast to target him with it's blue beam of death. Instead he was waiting for the moment when the beast escaped this little sandwich, and charged full speed into his true trap.

A true trap, of course, was a trap one couldn't escape. The true art of war was to learn exactly what your opponent was capable of, usually by forcing them to use all of their tricks, and then to abuse that knowledge. To create a situation in which whatever they did would trigger the trap, a trap that simply could not be unravelled.

If the beast remained in the pillar, it would be skewered by lances from both sides.

If it charged through the wall with brute force it's own strength would impale it on the pikes placed outside.

If it tried to jump it would run full force into the spikes coming from above. Trying to clear the attacks coming from either direction with her breath weapon would leave her open from the other direction, once more getting impaled.

Her only real chance was her enlarging power. Based on her previous uses being consistent with one another her power was not to simply alter the size of her body parts, but rather she had two 'modes'. Normal-sized and giant-sized. If this was true her only recourse would be to return her entire body to giant size, turning the lances into needles as the trap was torn apart by the rapid increase. Of course, that was just the instant he was waiting for.

With Godfall at the ready he aimed at the currently empty sky. The moment the beast returned to it's true form it would be a target that was impossible to miss, as well as being momentarily unaware of his position. All he needed was a moment, a single clear shot, with her not knowing what direction the attack was coming from. Even then he might not be able to kill it, not in truth. After all, it was vastly more powerful than he was.

But, he would prove to it just how much folly it was to underestimate the power of a single soldier. He would teach it that even Gods can Fall.

Miyu

"Tssk.. I'm getting unfocused.. CRAP MY SANDWICH!" Miyu said, as one of the Ramiel's managed to snag her, and then she lost her sandwich because she tried talking while it was in her mouth.

Red energy coming into existence, glimmering between Miyu and the Ramiel, and the Ramiel found it literally impossible to hold onto Miyu. The power of "forcing things to separate" made her a tricky catch. As she dropped down, one flap of her wings landed her on coast she had nearly reached before.

"THAT." Miyu slammed her oar into the ground, and a green wave of energy spread out across the field of fire, invisible once it passed, but the circle it made was visible. "WAS." It wasn't like the Ramiels were going to give up that easily, and they swarmed closer, Miyu's oar glowing red, as the fire across the ocean seemed to dim perhaps slightly.

"AREALLYGOODSANDWICH!" Miyu screamed as she swung her oar early. The Ramiels slowed their advance so as not to run into the clumsy strike, the blade of the oar clearly missing, some of them by entire meters. Yet one after another was rent asunder by the superheated blade that clearly missed them, until the momentum of the strike died, it's power exhausted after a handful of Ramiel clones. Still, each one was valuable, and Miyu had struck them down with a strike that should have missed.

Omega

No matter which way Omega went, he found himself face to face with a wall and no way to progress. Door after door. Dead end after dead end. Every step just made him feel more turned around than the last. He didn’t understand how he had gotten so lost. When Diana had gone into the Dungeon he followed close behind, yet somehow they got separated. Now all the spirit could do was roam the endless halls and hope to find his way. And yet, it wasn’t the feeling of being lost that made him uncomfortable; it was the feeling of being alone.

There were no sounds in the distance, no indication that there was anyone nearby, it was all unnerving to the ghost. Worst of all was how spacious these hallways actually were. It gave a sense that something was missing. Something should be filling these voids. It reminded him all too well of where he came from, the ghost town where he lived in solitude for Deva knows how long. Needless to say it was not a good time in the gunslingers life, and he wasn’t fond of his memories returning there.

Unfortunately, his mind wouldn’t be the only place taking him there. Ascending a small stone staircase he came across, Omega quickly found the stone had turned into a rusty and corroded metal. Seeing a door at the top, he opened it to find himself face to face with the town he had just been thinking of.

Though he didn’t know it’s origins, one could guess it was a failed Machina settlement, most likely an attempt to grab some unclaimed lands. Every structure was in disrepair. All the grass was overgrown, and not a single piece of equipment was functional. It was just how he remembered it, and it terrified him.

“Aw hell!” Omega muttered before immediately turning to leave only to find the door he had gone through now belonged to one of the structures. Upon looking it, he found it only lead inside the ruined building with no sign of the staircase in sight. Once that was confirmed he ran everywhere, checking all the buildings, trees, and bushes to see if there was an exit.

Nothing. There was no way out of here. Overwhelmed by fear and panic Omega dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head. He couldn’t be trapped here. Not again. He refused! In a fit of rage Omega drew his revolvers and began firing in every direction. This turned out to do the trick as each bullet shot through the illusion and destroyed sections of the roses.

After a few seconds of the bullet storm, the illusion faded and Omega was left standing in a large empty stone room. Still shaken from the experience, he almost didn’t see Endian fly passed a doorway. Running into the hall Omega aimed his revolver and fired a warning shot that nearly grazed Endian’s head.

“You better stay put, miss. Or I promise this next one will put you down.”

Despite the blast not getting a direct hit on Khaine or the Godfall weapon, the shockwave was more than enough to send the hellish warrior launching backwards, getting caught in his own chains. This was an opportunity for the gijinka to finish him once and for all. Her plates begin to light up once more in rapid succession and fires again, her secondary fire missing the warrior as he quickly yanks himself to the side. Titanica attempts to aim her beam at him with respectable accuracy, but his speed was able to allow him in escape her blast. While Khaine can withstand a respectable amount of heat, kinetic energy is perhaps a different story. After all, this creature's blast isn't just pure fire. It was pure plasma forged with radiation from both natural and artificial sources. When the humans began to wield nuclear energy as their own, their power plants reeked of this radiation via nuclear fission, and basically fed Titanica even as she sleeps. Of course, when nuclear atoms collide, likewise with nuclear bombs, they tend to issue a violent explosion. While the ginjika's blast isn't quite as destructive as an atomic bomb immediately, if it was left on for a long while within a city, it can absolutely wreck havoc in it.

As Titanica watches Khaine launch himself into the sky, she suddenly finds herself surrounded by black spiked walls on all sides as they emerge from portals. Even below her do the spikes emerge slowly. By instinct does Titanica transform her feet into the huge trunks as they smash the spikes below her. Yet they also from all four sides and even from above. Her arms began to transform into large claws and her tail enlarges all in an attempt to seemingly keep the walls from crushing into her. Surely this was a strategy that was doomed to fail. Even of her strength will it be impossible to completely stop the walls from turning her into a slab of meat...

Right?

But that wasn't the plan. Titanica was way smarter than this. There was a move in her arsenal that can get her out of this... just like the one she used to "finish off" Iona. The Atomic Pulse. She closes her eyes as her spines began to glow bright hot in blue energy, crackling as a slow hum begins to become louder and louder. But this time, her whole body seemed to change along with her. Not only did her limbs transform, but she herself also began to fully transform. Her entire skin became hard obsidian-colored scales, her physique also began to transform into something much more animal-like, and even her face began to fully transform into a Saurian-esque skull.

Then there was a deafening silence, followed suddenly by a massive shockwave that brusted through the walls. It was powerful enough to knockback the walls closing in on her, with the wall in front of her suddenly jerking back as it flips rapidly towards Khaine, who has the Godfall weapon ready to fire once she was free. But while Khaine expected the beast to become unleashed, did he expect this maneuver to be used? The wall that's flying towards him was flipping in mid-air straight towards him, leaving a 50/50% chance of pinning him down, either with a flat metallic surface or with the razor-sharp pikes, as well as perhaps wrecking the cannon.

Regardless of whether it hits him or not, as the chaos begins to die down, Titanica emerges from the blue smoke... embracing her giant monstrous form. She's about 8 feet in height, but clearly looks as if she can grow much bigger provided she has the room to do so, her spines already barely touching the ceiling. While looking slow and bulky, she still holds a respectable amount of speed within her, but even with that her skin has thickened immensely. Even if the Godfall would fire upon her body, it will only have little effect in stopping her in her tracks. She issues a guttural growl, this one being much more deeper in tone, as she unleashes another deafening roar of anger towards his direction. She begins stomping towards him at a respectful pace, her eyes glaring straight into his soul as he prepares to annihilate this bug completely.

If anyone considered that taking down a god-like entity is easy... they've surely never had the chance in meeting this one.

Khaine, Oblivion Dungeon

How does one capture the ocean in a bowl of clay? How could one contain the sun in mere prose? How can one describe a force of nature, power that transcends mortal limits. It cannot be done. Standing here in the radiance of such power Khaine knew that it was not just stronger than any of his previous foes. It was on a different level entirely. He could feel it in his essence, like bathing in the heat of an inferno. So this was the difference, between Gods and Men.

As Khaine stared at the now fully powered up Titanica, the debris flying towards him simply vanished back to the Armoury. A wave of red energy rolled over the battlefield as all of Khaine's various armaments returned to their plane of origin, leaving behind only shattered stone and the scent of sulphur. With a loud crash Khaine landed on the ground, standing up to face this immensely powerful being. Godfall had barely pierced it's skin, certainly not enough to do real damage. Some part of his brain was still thinking of strategies, ways that this thing could be killed. Using it's weight against it, aiming for the eyes, finding a really big hole to drop it in. But at a deeper level he knew this was a fight he simply could not win. Even though he had realised at the start he would most likely lose, to be quite this badly outclassed... it was exhilarating.

To think that there existed creatures such as this outside the Faction Leaders. Some strange wordless beast dwelling within the Oblivion Dungeons, an unstoppable force even to generals such as himself. Was this dungeon created to contain it? Or was this dungeon created by it, simply forming around it's presence? Regardless, he had angered such a being, and must now face the consequences. His power had reached it's limits, he possessed no weapon greater than Godfall. But he had been able to buy time, and that was all he really needed to do. Even if he was killed by this beast this fight had taken it's attention for a bit. Hopefully long enough for Khaine's allies to escape.

Moving along the ground now Khaine shot forward, sliding between the thing's immense legs in order to get out of range of it's powerful breath weapon. Despite it's size it was still vast, but sheer size made it predictable. At this scale there was no avoiding telegraphing her movements, and Khaine found it easy to slip past her thrashing tail and stomping feet. It's sheer strength could squash him if he got hit, but all that strength meant nothing if he avoided the attack. Running forward he bolted into a passageway too small for the huge creature, making use of the Dungeon's natural terrain. It would be impossible for the creature to follow him without digging through meters and meters of stone. And although it no doubt could, would it be able to match his speed while doing so?

Arriving at the mouth of the cave he turned to fire off a last cheeky shot from Godfall, a hypersonic bolt aimed at the beast's eyes. If he could blind it, even temporarily, that would certainly aid in his escape.

"Beast" Titanica

@thewizardguy@KoL

As the titanic monster begins to ominously descend on the fallen warrior, Khaine tries to make a desperate rush underneath Titanica's extensive bulk. The creature takes note of this as she attempts to stomp him with her mighty feet and her cracking tail. Every stomp would issue a mini-earthquake and her tail cracks alongside the walls of the dungeon. If he was to be hit, he would be utterly squashed by her foot or have a few bones broken due to her whipping tail. Yet remarkably, the warrior was able to dodge them, perhaps getting a close save at one point or another before running the opposite direction from her. Within such a confined space, she didn't have enough space to affectively maneuver her bulk. The massive beast's head jerks behind her to see Khaine bolt into a small passage way the opposite of where she's facing. He quickly enters through a small passage way, which was already too small for Titanica to squeeze in without destroying the entire wall first. The beast's lips flare as she roars at his direction, slowly approaching towards him, unaware of the plan Khaine had in mind.

Yet just before Titanica could attempt in breaking the wall, she suddenly catches wind of a scent. She pauses with a growl as she rears on her feet and begins sniffing the air. Once again she smells the stench of draconian in the air. No doubt did it belong to Diana, who Khaine was trying to bide time for her, along with Supurna, to escape. After all, it can be tracked down the hall in where she was standing. Still having the visions flickering in her mind that showed Diana and then the "Thousand Year Dragon", she concluded that the dragon was a much more important target compared to this molten rock creature. Steam flares from her nostrils as the creature emits a low guttural growl, slowly turning around towards the scent as her stomps begin to fade in the distance.

She didn't need to announce that Khaine's not worth her time... he'll live to see his failure come alive.

As the mighty Zeruel battles Henry, he quickly retaliates his arms as soon as they've been sliced off. As soon as he does that, he notices his opponent rushing towards him in an attempt to slice his legs with a battle axe, along with another coming down on top of him. This didn't concern the laguna angel as his main fists form mini AT-Fields around them up to his elbow, easily flicking the axe to the side, yet dodging the blade, that would've sliced through it unknowingly to him, as he barely was able to lift it over them. Following that, he counters his opponent by jabbing his knee into Henry's chest and using another tendril does he swipe him away towards the sea.

Perhaps it was a good thing he looks towards the sea as he notices Fran rapidly approaching her along with a few Leviathans stampede along with her. Zeruel's eyes flare up immediately as they issue several explosions around the them as they steadily approach him. Perhaps a few of these creatures, along with Fran, will survive the onslaught, but regardless he was ready for them. Regardless he immediately contacted reinforcements, both from the entrance of the dungeon and by Samael's group, to telepathically head towards his position, just to ensure his victory over this pointless charade.

Meanwhile, the Ramiels above were still trying to keep Miyu contained, only for both her and her sandwich to drop back to the ground and by the coast. The soldiers screech as they attempt to swarm around their "prisoner", only to be met with an unexpected surprise. Miyu appeared to be trying to go "Super-Saiyan" as a green wave of energy that spread out across the field of fire in a round circle, followed by the oar that she carried suddenly glow ominously red. She begins flailing it quickly as it suddenly knocks out one of the Ramiel's cold. The rest stand back in an attempt to avoid getting whacked but soon found themselves getting hit by... something. One by one did they fall into several bloody pieces until they were nothing but pieces lying on the ground.

It was a surprising relevation that Miyu is somehow able to get through all of this just by swaying a simple oar around... but eventually one of Zeruel's reinforcements suddenly made their way onto the battlefield from above. Samael and his forces have arrived on the battlefield, having been rather close to the battle by the time Zeruel called for reinforcements. His huge blade reeks in fire as new fresh units come into the battlefield, facing Miyu ominously as he prepares to throw his own divine judgement among her. Elite Harpies came flying down with their flaming lances and shields, followed by new teleporting units called Uriels, who specialized in creating purple energy and firing it in beams or fireballs, and the massive heavy Barachiels, armed with huge light-swords, thick shields, and their armor protected by a thick coat of armor. If they can overwhelm and tire out these three fighters, then they will soon fall to the might of Heaven...

Endian-01

As the android raced towards the sound of battle, a bullet buzzed past her head. Before words would reach her Endian immediately took cover at a hard corner, blades and bullets ready to retaliate. The voice that called out to her was somewhat familiar; she may have heard it before, as Grafdakka or perhaps another. Either way he asked her not to move, and Endian somewhat failed to fulfill his request since she took cover. Still she did not attack back immediately; instead she shouted back towards him. "If your first shot wasn't an attempt to kill me, I take it that you wish to parley?" Endian wasn't sure if her mysterious attack was aligned with angels or demons, so she wasn't sure if she could trust this person. All the more reason to speak and prod fighter's motives. "I'll be curt. I have no reason to fight you right now. My objective is the master of this realm. I take it that you're not aligned with the Machina so I propose a temporary alliance to face this common threat. Afterwards we may slaughter each other as we so desire." Endian had her weapons more or less trained on Omega, though she didn't have visual on him so for all she knew he may have also taken cover.

Francisca Labrys Seax Luxuria

The Leviathans held their fire as they dodged the attacks of Zeruel and his minions, still facing him even as they avoided all attempts to harm them. Fran herself had decided to head towards Zeruel with far less abandon, allowing her own Leviathan to fall as she took to the air, her axe raised above her head. It was a reckless attack, but she feared nothing, not even potential retaliation from Zeruel's many tentacles. "Come on squiggly! I've had cocks harder than you!" It was also at that moment that the Levithans opened fire upon Zeruel, attacks piercing through their body as they launched beams of atomic energy at the area around him, so that even if he tried to dodge he would be caught in the area of effect.

At the same time Fran finally reached the other side of the shore, ready to pounce the giant angel once his defenses were sufficiently lowered. She coated her axe with the Aphrodisiac poison, unsure how it may affect someone like him. However this poison would work on all types of angels despite it's demonic origins, and was in fact more effective against those from the forces of Heaven. As long as she could somehow pierce his flesh, the poison will seep into his body and corrupt his mind. Easier said than done of course.

Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

@Lmpkio@The 42nd Gecko@Lucius Cypher

Henry was unfazed by his axes being blocked so easily, this was the chance he needed while he was in close. He stabbed downwards with the Cheater's Blade, letting Zeruel knee him in the chest while he pierced straight through Zeruel's knee with the Cheater's Blade and pinned him to the ground. Zeruel then swatted him away towards the ocean, which was still on fire, so Henry wanted none of that. He grabbed onto one of the last spears which was still embedded into the ground, he roared with pain as he stopped his momentum and dislocated his shoulder in the same second. Francisca was going for the killing blow now, but she definitely couldn't take a blow from the Laguna Angel, she wasn't made of the same tough stuff Henry was. "Hey Laguna! Eat this fucker!" He yelled as his eyes glowed and missiles formed in the middle of the air, igniting and firing straight towards Zeruel. Hopefully those could give Fran the distraction she needed to end the fight with her weird sex poison. "Oh my god I'm relying on Fran to win the fight. What the fuck am I doing?" He muttered as he attempted to relocate his shoulder by himself.

Omega

Keeping his guns pointed at the corner Endian ducked behind, Omega himself backed up to the doorway taking half cover behind it. Listening to the Machina as she offered a temporary truce, he had to admit, it sounded pretty tempting. With all he had just gone through, even the company of an enemy would be preferable to going it alone again. After a moment of deliberating it in his head, the spirit made his choice. ”I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t exactly been having a hoot down here by my lonesome. Now I didn’t shoot you in the back, so if you promise to return the favor, I think we could work something out.”

To make sure she knew he wasn’t trying to fool her. Omega stepped out from cover and slipped his revolvers back into their holsters. “My weapons are away and I’m standing in the open. Now if you’d be so kind as to do the same.”

@Lucius Cypher

Wolf

The vine barrier was more than enough to keep the angels out for the time being, but Wolf knew it wouldn’t last. “It will do for now. Let’s go. Hopefully the others haven’t gotten too far ahead.” Wolf said turning his back on the foliage. As he descended further in he could hear Bonesword speaking to himself

"It's not real... it's not real..."

“Good. Keep reminding yourself that. I will inform you when a real threat presents itself.” Just as Wolf spoke, the sound of a grenade went off not far from their position. Immediately he took off sprinting until he found himself in the same room as the sisters. Shizuka lay on the floor surrounded by blast marks left from the grenade that was almost certainly thrown by Hibiki.

“In the name of Eos cease this at once!” Wolf shouted as he stepped between the two. “Even when we are surrounded by angels and demons alike I find machina fighting among themselves. I don’t have time to figure out why this started, but it ends now!”

The battle continues!
"Quick, over here! They must be right ahead," Diana said as she took the lead of the maggot girl, holding her hand as the two of them rounded the last corner that would lead them into, "What the hell is going on here?"

Diana stopped when she was confronted with one of the most chaotic scenes she ever saw in her whole life. Somehow there was sea inside the dungeon, perhaps it was more accurate to call it an underground lake? More over, it was on fire and a whole group of people that Diana didn't knew anything about were fighting one another. Lots of explosions and other stuff ensued.

However, this wasn't Diana's biggest concern right now. "This shall do the trick," Diana said to herself as she pluck a few hair strands and dropped them on the floor, to make sure that Titanica would keep on their trail.

"I hope you can hold your breath for sometime!" Just as she said so, Diana grabbed a hold of Suparna's waist and lifted her off the ground before holding her in a bridal carry. Once she had a hold of the maggot girl, Diana broke into a sprint, "There we go!" she said as she ran into Zeruel from behind. She ran past the brute and jumped in the water just as he kicked Henry away and the Demon responded with a missile salvo.

The only thing she could hope for is that all this chaos could shake Titanica. "If this doesn't work, we will have no choice other than fight that thing," Diana though as she dived deeper and deeper, trying her best to avid making the two of them a target for the many being fighting into that black sea, especially the sea serpents that somehow seemed to flock these waters.

Luci

For all her earnestness and vigor, Luci was still in unfamiliar territory without even a clue as to where to look. She couldn't even follow the sounds of the earth shaking as titanic battles raged all over and the slime princess was left questioning every turn with frantic apprehension.

She needed to find Lucille, yet one such corner revealed not a visage of green but that of a figure clad in hulking steel and a skeleton seeped in the aroma of plants and soil. Luci grunted, chiding herself for being led astray by the familiarity of Bonesword's fragrance.

"Hey you two. Have you seen my Momma? She's about yay hi-" Luci demonstrated with a hand raised, the limb elongating up to the height of Lucille, " Has really nice green hair. Looks like me but with an umbrella. Oh, and she's the Queen of Hell. Have you seen her?"

Bonesword and The Frog
@Awesomoman64@Lonewolf685

As Hibiki and Shizuka 'ceased' fighting, returning to Hyperion in order to hopefully settle their differences there less dangerously, Bonesword and Wolf were approached by two... demons? The slime girl said that she was effectively the daughter of Hell's Queen (odd, considering he thought it was Ira some time ago), so that would make sense, but what's with the puppet? It looked like the same puppet on those television shows in Hyperion, but that would mean it should be fighting for the Machina, and not Hell. At first it made no sense, but as Bonesword looked at the illusion of his old self a couple of yards away, he realized that he was living the same life, so it wasn't too unheard of for that occurrence to come about. "... Are you guys... demons?"

The Frog on the other hand, held his AK-47 tightly in his hands, prepared to shoot at the two soldiers in front of him in case they attacked. Although the Frog wanted to just shoot them right there and get it over with, he realized that it would be very... ineffective for him to try and shoot the towering metal man, considering his armor could probably block the bullets well enough. "Yes, in some way or another. But look at you there, aren't you one too?"

"... I don't even know anymore." This place was truly getting to him at this point, especially with that ghostly past whispering beside him.

"You willingly delayed your respawn in this Nexus in order to be one of those things." "I-I know, but I didn't want to respawn as something like them." "You did, and you know that the truth will eventually come out. You're still surprised that Eos didn't kill you when you tried to enlist, despite it being what you wanted to do, even in he afterlife, but when she finds out what you did in order to do this, she'll imprison you forever." "No she wouldn't! There were plenty of people learning what I could do when I was alive!" "But none of them wanted to learn necromancy like you. None of them experimented with it like you."

"None of them died with it's experimentation like you."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, ME!" Bonesword shouted as he keeled over, raising vines up from the ground that weaved around him and shielded him like a protective mother. He hated his past, and he hated how he couldn't forget that he did this to himself willingly. He especially hated how he couldn't forget this damn ghost and how it tortured him ever since he could remember it. What he hated the most, though, was that he could never go back. He could never return to being his old self, and he had to cope with that. There were perks of being a skeleton, but he missed having his real body back.

The Frog, surprised at the sudden yelling of the skeleton, stepped back a bit. It was clear that this place was getting to people as they continued descending, but there wasn't much for him to do in order to comfort that skeleton. Not that he really wanted to anyway. Maybe this would act as a proper diversion for the armored man, considering they fought on the same team. "Is it going to be okay?"

Miyu

"Gosh.. Why do all of you want to fight me so much?" Miyu said as the clone of Samael bore down upon her after she had defeated the first wave of attackers.

Spotting Diana and Suprana running and taking cover, Miyu attempts to distract Samael with "Look! A dragon is abducting a loli! That's definitely something you should pay attention to!" That probably wouldn't work, but hey she'd try.

"And there's also about to be a giant lizard! Like really big!" Miyu pointed towards the next thing to appear, before deciding to contact Fran and Henry about it.

~Giant lizard that's really strong coming, we should dodge. Maybe out of the fight entirely.~ She sent to them telepathically, as she started retreating from Samael, and Titanica who would be showing up very shortly.

As Zeruel pushes Henry back using his massive tendril, he suddenly find his knee getting stabbed by the demon's blade. For a second did it pin him to the ground, only for Zeruel to quickly rip it out. However, instead of simply tossing it away, he decides to take the opportunity and use it against these opponents. After all, it somehow did get through his AT-Field... meaning with that weapon, he could possibly slice through most enemy defenses as well. He infuses the blade into his body, using his tendrils to connect himself to it. This weapon is now his for the taking.

And she didn't even realize that Diana and Suparna had just passed him as well...

Suddenly, he hears the vulgar battlecry of Fran continuing to come his way. Her leviathans have fallen, but she continues to come recklessly towards him without seemingly any care in the world. But then he sees several other leviathans on shore suddenly open fire upon him, using a sheer volley of plasma energy beams to take him off guard. What's more, Henry also decided to launch several missiles at his direction as well. Coating his blade arm in a thick AT-Field, he extends it towards the missiles in a sweeping motion, slicing them all in one go as they violently explode in the air. As for the plasma beams, he quickly issues an eye beam towards the leviathans as they would suddenly combust, although he still took the brunt force of the beams. He raises his free arm towards his face, reflecting some of the blast away, until it all finally subsided. He was damaged, but certainly not out of the fight so soon.

Then from the corner of his vision, he sees a hatchet swinging towards him at a considerable pace. Quickly he uses his blade arm to whack the blade away from him. He narrowly missed getting grievously poisoned. He looks over towards the two demon opponents, minus Miyu, as his body begins to rapidly change and morph, his tendrils flailing wildly in the air.

"ADMIRABLE OFFENSE..." he begins boasting, "BUT IN THE END, UTTERLY FUTILE AGAINST MY SUPERIOR DEFENSE."

Meanwhile, Samael is in combat with Miyu, who asks why he wants to fight her.

"Heaven demands you return to them." he says behind the mask as it amplifies his voice, "If you will not yield, we will have to take you back by force."

After Miyu tries to distract him, Samael swings his sword at her violently, but appears to have missed. Yet before he can swipe at her again...

One loud raging roar echoes throughout the battlefield as Titanica bursts through the entrance of where Diana and Suparna just exited from. She had followed the scent of the draconian and maggot characters to this bizarre place within the Oblivion Dungeon. An ocean stems beyond her, as well as the obvious sight of a brutal battle of chaos and misery. The creature looks back and forth at the madness, as Zeruel and his forces all stopped what they were doing to glance at this new found intruder. The Laguna Angel inadvertently glares at this Saurian creature as he recognizes who exactly it was.

It was her. Had Iona failed the mission in eliminating her? Did she underestimate her strength? Or was something else going on?

Whatever the reason it may be, the one opponent that she wanted to fight was here... the massive Titanica... and in her monstrous form as well. Now she has somehow tracked her way into this battlefield. Surely if the other Vassal wasn't strong enough to beat her, it appears Zeruel may have little hope in beating her. However, this didn't deter the Laguna leader entirely. He approaches the creature slowly for a few meters until stopping just 50 meters away.

"SO..." he booms towards Titanica, almost as if he's trying to respect her, "YOU HAVE FINALLY REVEALED YOURSELF AT LAST. IONA HAS SPOKEN MOST FONDLY OF YOU... AND I SUPPOSE YOU'VE ALREADY MET HER... AND BEAT HER IN COMBAT."

Titanica simply glares at him coldly, saying nothing as steam exhales from her nostrils.

"NO MATTER." he continues as trying not to look aggressive, "YOU WOULDN'T HAVE RISEN FROM YOUR SLUMBER THIS EARLY... UNLESS YOU FIND WHAT YOU SEEK. TELL ME... OH VASSAL OF DESTRUCTION... WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE HERE?"

Still does the creature remain silent, not giving out any notion in why she has awakened. Of course, why should she tell these low-layers what she's come for? If the vassals like Iona are trying to have her join a side in the Eternal War, then certainly they'll fail. But if they want her to at least participate in battle... well, she might as well eliminate everyone within this vicinity and get it over with. Rage begins to peak as she fires off another atomic breath, one much much stronger than what the leviathans used, sending the Laguna Angel tumbling back as he struggles to reflect it.

"'My purpose' surely doesn't lie here." she growls at Zeruel as one of her giant feet stomps the ground, "And nothing you or the OTHER VASSALS should get involved in! If killing you all is what stands between me and my target... then I suppose you're all trapped in here with ME!"

And she isn't finished.

Her body begins to rapidly grow, making Titanica grow bigger and get stronger as she grows up to an unprecedented size of fifty meters, approximately the size of Zeruel's Titan form. This massive kaiju beast towers over everyone within the vicinity, her massive tail even smacking against the walls of the dungeon as she demonstrates how much her displeasure with life has grown since she awoke. When she roars, it deafens the ears for all who hear for several seconds, as she readies to eliminate all who stand in her way.

Zeruel doesn't take this kindly. His face remains permanently mute as his whole body begins to rapidly change and emit a thick black ooze.

"VERY WELL..." he answers ominously, "I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO KILL YOU... BUT PERHAPS I MAY BE ABLE TO HALT YOUR ADVANCE, MOMENTARILY."

With that, Zeruel also begins to grow up to almost the same height, although being slightly shorter than her. He's now at his maximum height, identical to the form he used back in Arcadia. He glares back at Titanica as his massive tendrils began to enwrap around Titanica's jaws, arms, and legs, despite knowing that it will also remain futile. The titanic monster pulls two of the tendrils towards her as she eventually locks heads against the massive Laguna's. Her breathing was heavy and ominous, with drool already spewing from her toothy maw. Even as Zeruel tries to counterattack, he is launched back by a hard heel to the chest and into the ocean, causing a rather massive wave to form against the shore, breaching Fran's leviathans onto dry land.

Meanwhile the Laguna clones are utterly clueless as what to do. Leave Zeruel to battle out Titanica alone or actually help him out? And if they do help him, can they deal ANY significant damage at all? Or should they continue battling the other three out? They better think of something quick as they struggle to get to higher ground. Even Samael does the same as they try to regroup.

God help them all.

Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

@Lmpkio@The 42nd Gecko@Lucius Cypher

Henry popped his shoulder back into place with a grunt of pain as he got back up to witness Zeruel absorbing his sword into his gross tendril body. And then Henry saw red. He began to fire more missiles at Zeruel, but these ones were easily cut down as Zeruel used his sword to destroy them. Diana and Suparna ran by but they didn't matter, what mattered was getting his blade back from this pretentious fucking prick! Zeruel began boasting about how strong his defenses were and Henry was literally fucking boiling with rage as he grabbed a spear and threw it at Zeruel as hard as he could. But that didn't matter as a literal god sized lizard began rampagaing around, with Zeruel growing to match its size.

"THAT'S MY FUCKING SWORD!" Zeruel would hear as Henry rocketed upwards with his eyes shining a practically blinding Silver. A flash of light would blind everyone in the area for a few seconds, but as Zeruel gained his vision back he would realise one very important mistake he made when fighting Henry. Never take his stuff. A Demonic Mecha stood in the place of Henry, wielding a massive halberd in its right hand and with a equally big shield attached to its left arm. Henry was in the cockpit, his usual cocky grin replaced with a sociopathic rage as he already began to swing the halberd at Zeruel in an attempt to lop him in half. "You're not the only asshole with a power upgrade!"

Khaine, Oblivion Depths

Hmph. It seemed that, despite all the effort he had gone through, his plan had failed. The creature seemed about to charge after him when it raised it's head and sniffed the air, before heading off. Probably because something smelled tasty. At this point Khaine would have been more than glad to call it a day, ignoring the unstoppable giant lizard and heading down towards where he knew his stone was. The only problem was the direction the giant lizard had gone in. Perhaps by complete coincidence, it had headed in the same direction as Khaine's erstwhile companion and the bug-creature. Of course, such a thing could never occur by chance alone. Even as he rushed along the ground he knew Diana was being tracked by this beast, seemingly by smell alone. If the creature managed to catch up to Diana then this entire diversion was merely a waste of time.

Silently, Khaine cursed his foolishness. He should have closed off the route Diana and the others had used the first chance he got, back when the beast was not yet using it's full power. Instead he had charged it, trying one tactic after another to defeat it. Captivated by the fight he had forgotten the reason he was fighting in the first place. How could he have been so careless? Had this place gotten to him after all?

A most unusual scene interrupted Khaine's internal dialogue. When he entered the chamber what he found was nothing less than a clash between titans. The beast had grown larger yet, and was now locked in conflict with an immense white creature Khaine immediately identified as being angelic in origin. Almost lost next to a conflict of such scope were an army of lesser angelic beings currently in a state of complete disarray, as one might expect when confronted with such an awe-inspiring confrontation. But there were also several demons in this area, he could feel it. And not mere flunkies, either. Based on the signs of destruction and dead angels, only a few of which seemed to be the result of the clashing titans, it was clear that a major battle had taken place here. Not that Khaine needed such visual confirmation when he could feel the energy of battle flowing past him, through him.

Struck by an old longing he stepped forward. Previously he had interfered only in small-scale conflicts, the minor battles that were happening all around the time. At the time he had considered it tactics. But here he saw the face of true battle, true war between the forces of Heaven and Hell itself. A war as old as time, as old as thought itself. Here he could once more taste the sweet nectar of blood, fear and wrath, that ambrosia sweetened with the suffering of the weak. It was not temptation that caused Khaine to step forward, blade in hand, nor was it habit or duty. It was nature. His very being screamed that this was his fight, his battle, his war. He was born from war to wage it, and for too long he had been starved.

Even as some unknown demon formed what appeared to be an immense robot in the background, Khaine rocketed up to the ceiling. Blades rained from the sky, wiping out the small fry in a hail of edged death. Like a flash Khaine moved across the ceiling, swinging from stalactite to stalactite, and leaving a little something behind. High-powered explosives, remotely detonated by Khaine's powers. The fuse and the bomb had been seperated, but it would be easy for Khaine to reunite them.

It was a mistake to believe Khaine was merely a warrior. He embodied war in it's entirety, Ares and Athena. Cunning and knowledge were tools as sharp and deadly as any blade, and more wars had been won through strategy than through brute force. With 500.000 years of experience to draw on there were few subjects Khaine was not an expert in. Merely a cursory examination of the roof had given him all the information he needed. He knew the types of rock and sediment that composed the roof of the cavern, he knew how old each stalactite and stalagmite was. Most importantly, he could form a map in his head of how the strain of gravity was divided over the cavern. How that pressure was divided across a large surface area, but concentrated in a few particular points. And of course he knew the explosive dose that would be required in order to make use of these points. More specifically, Khaine possessed both the knowledge and means to collapse this entire cavern on top of them.

Of course, who knew how much rock was above here. By his understanding the Oblivion Dungeon was functionally infinite, but at a certain level mundane laws of gravity simply stopped functioning. It was impossible to predict with what force the roof would come down. Perhaps millions of tons of rock would collapse down, or perhaps merely a layer of a few meters. Within this place the laws of physics were more like suggestions, usually applied but far from necessary.

Of course, that didn't matter for the moment. Whether or not this would actually kill the two battling titans he couldn't tell. In fact he highly doubted it, even if he was able to bury them both the lizard creature was likely to survive. The wound he had inflicted to her but moments before were already healing, in a few minutes they would be gone. Combined with what the titanic angel had said about 'awakening' it was likely that this creature could not be so easily killed. Not that death had any real meaning within this purgatory anyway. But if he was able to trap it here, bury it, then perhaps the Dungeon itself could end this thing. Break it down on the mental level instead of the physical, remove all that motivated it until nothing remained.

Glancing around Khaine tried to spot Diana as he swung down from the ceiling. It would be unfortunate if they were caught in this plan, so it would be best to inform them of this before he managed to kill them all.

Miyu

"Rude." Was Miyu's comment on Titanica's deafening roar. She enclosed her body in that red "separation" energy again, causing the soundwaves to avoid her.

Well, she wanted to get out of here, what with the angelic armies, Godzilla, and now inclement weather. But Henry wanted to stay and fight, and well, the angelic army had ruined her sandwich. Maybe some support from the backline would be proper repayment?

"Cloak of Fleeting Shadow: Traitor's Blade." She intoned, just for dramatic emphasis, she didn't actually need to. And Henry's Halberd was sheathed in a power of separation enhanced to slice anything apart... It was basically just the Cheater's Blade again. Miyu, if she was aware of the Cheater's Blade's existence, would probably wonder why her power was so similar, and what would happen if she cast Traitor's Blade on the Cheater's Blade. But, she didn't.

Miyu herself, hid in the rain of swords, after nimbly dodging to the side of one, she took cover under it's handle guard, waiting out the the storm of blades that was annihilating a lot of the people she used to be fighting.
