It would be night where Evelyn was, and the young woman would receive a message on her laptop computer, saying:

One last war, then you never have to fight again. If you want answers, open your window. And that was that.

Reading the message, Evelyn was more than a little confused, and definitely suspicious about this message. She grabbed a pistol from a drawer and peered through the window, not yet opening it. Perhaps it was the veil of night, but there seemed to be nothing outside her window. She returned to the laptop and checked the message once more, it really had claimed she should open the window, though. After no more than a second of consideration, Evelyn walked up to the window and carfully opened the creaky old thing. Her motivation being a single, simple though; What's the harm in checking?

Entering through the window was a white raven, one which held a glossy note strapped to its left foot. Should Evelyn pick up the note, it would bear not a message, but a Coat of Arms* that, to Evelyn's magical senses, would glow with immense power. If she touched it, what would happen?

As the white raven came swooping in, it started Evelyn and she stumbled backwards. It took a moment for her to notice the piece of paper tied to the raven's leg. A little hestitantly, Evelyn put down the gun and slowly reached for the raven's leg. She was surprised to find it stay so calm, not many birds did that. After grabbing the paper, she sat down on her bed with an exhausted sigh, she'd found the white raven a little disturbing and getting so close to it was something she'd only done reluctantly. As soon as she saw the note, she decided to try to channel it's power, by doing so, placing her hand on the coat of arms.

A flash of light, and she would vanish, teleported by the spell contained in the note before her channeling could be finished.

Whitehall Palace - Best of Both Britains

Next Evelyn knew, she would be inside a wide, lavish, throne room decorated with silk and precious metals, with heavily-armed guards in modern special forces armor to each side. However, she would see that the 'main throne' of the room was of yet unoccupied, although there was a seat, carved out of blue stone, just below. On that lesser throne was seated a woman some years older than Evelyn, with red curly hair and bright grey, almost silver eyes. She was clad in a pure white gown interspersed with lace, pearls, diamonds and electrum**, along with boots of red velvet.

Facing the Magic-user, the lady would then say, "Evelyn Henye, recently come to the status of Keyblader, greetings. My name is Catherine Stuart, Princess of Wales and a Princess of Heart - those are seperate titles, future Queen Regnant of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, and soon to be the first Catholic to rule over an Anglican country due to the Act of Settlement from the original timeline being avoided. And as I said, I need your help, and after that comes a life of peace."

Perturbed by the change of surroundings, Evelyn was still taking in the sights as the queen started speaking. It's not the fact she was teleported that was so amazing to her, it was how the spell had been embedded into such a tiny piece of paper. At the mention of her name, Evelyn quickly turned to the one who had addressed her, who then introduced herself as queen... Of some inexistent nation, what madness.

Still, Evelyn tried to not shoot down the idea just yet. She ran over the information given to her a few more times in her head, before saying, "I've never heard of England before. Could you perhaps explain what exactly it is you need me for?"

"You're from another world; of course you wouldn't have," Catherine said. "Either way, I'm here to send you on a mission, a mission to save this entire Multiverse and ensure that my world has a role in the aftermath."

She then glowed brightly, and visions would fill Evelyn's mind, visions she instinctively realized were truth. These visions were of the Origin of the Multiverse and its split from the Original Timeline, the Rise and Fall of the Old Keyblade Order, and the current crisis involving the Seven Princesses of Heart and the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness.*3 Finally, when the visions were finished, Catherine would say, "Forgive me my disrespect in showing you so much, so soon, but times are pressing. Will you aid me, and win peace in the end?"

"What the..." Evelyn muttered, starting to develop a slight headache from the burst of information she'd just received. Her world suddenly felt small, which left her feeling rather uncomfortable. Still, ending war altogether was a necessity. "I'm not sure about fighting a war, but if it's possible to bring peace to everyone... I'll join your cause."

A nod from Princess Catherine, before she said, "very well, I will teleport you to within the depths of Space Station 13, where some...allies will make an apperance."

And with that, Evelyn would vanish once more.

"Hey wait a second, isn't that dange--" Evelyn had tried to raise an objection, but was too late as she found herself in a hall within the space station. "--rous?" A little frustrated when she noticed her new surroundings, Evelyn immediately started looking for a place to hide and wait for the allies that would supposedly appear. "I'm a medic, damn it, not a soldier..."

In the distance, a new ship appeared in Panem's dimensional space. It was unknown to any of the natives, but the crew of The Ruler of the Sea had seen it before. A small gummi cruiser, mostly silver in color but with some red accents here and there. It also bore a flag and insignia depicting a Templar-styled cross, the kind of blazen that Templar knights bore on their shields during the Crusades. It was the ship that fired on the group just as they were escaping the previous universe, and evidently the ship's female captain made good on her promise to keep hounding them.

The Crusader Star

On a ship's bridge, where the otherwise normal-dressed crew found themselves among soldiers that could only be described as modern day knights - with their knight-like armor combined with their modern firearms - one such knight was unique among them. She carried no such gun, and her silvery armor was more memorably ornate than the others, plus it had red accents on the surcoat that matched the overall color of the ship. She bore the Templar on the back of her long, crimson cape. Her hair, equally red - almost like fire - was kept tied back in a ponytail that stopped just short of brushing against the back of her neck. She had a look about her, a fire in her eyes that told anyone looking that this was indeed a woman on a mission.

"So they are here, then." the young captain spoke with coldness that allowed only a brief sign of the anger and hatred in her tone. Every fiber in her being wanted nothing more than to give the order to open fire, to blast their gummi ship into oblivion. On any other day, she might have done just that, but not today. At least, not at this moment. From the moment this world came into view something down there was practically screaming at her. Was it a cry for a help? A challenge? Elise didn't know, but she did know that Darkness still lurked within that world below.

"Target is locked on, Captain, do we have your orders to fire?" asked one of the crew members. This finally broke Elise's long moments of silence.

"No," it almost seemed painful for her to say, "those idiots haven't even closed the Keyhole yet. Darkness yet plagues this world. I'm going to the surface." she then stepped on the beaming platform, but saw only confused looks on the faces of her crew, "Just because we're hunting a monster that doesn't give us permission to ignore our basic duty as knights. Now send me down there. If we want something done right, we do it ourselves."

"Yes, ma'am!" the navigator punched in the controls, and the teleporter transported the Captain down to the surface of the planet, looking like a thin beam of light shooting down from the ship to anyone observing from the outside.

The Ruler of the Sea

"So are we going or-" Seth started to say, but the ship's scanners detected a new gummi ship signal entering this dimension. Looking out through one of the viewing ports, the Nobody spotted the interloping vessel in the distance, "Of course, she shows up now at the worst possible time. Why am I not - huh?"

Seth spotted the thin beam of light shooting down toward the planet's surface. Were they sending someone to the ground level? This just put a massive monkey wrench into the plan, but Seth decided to just roll with it. He hastily threw open a second Corridor - one that would lead to the planet's surface. Before Mantis could say anything or even protest, Seth grabbed him and practically threw him into it before jumping through himself. In his haste, however, the Nobody didn't immediately close the portal behind him. It stayed open for a moment or two longer after he and Mantis were gone before finally closing itself. Just long enough for a single person to leap in after them if they so desired to do so.

Natasha

Natasha tentatively wondered how quickly she could jam her fingers in her ears. But as Drake purposely waited she stole a little glass bead into his boot; one of the few shield charms she had left. As Drake left the cockpit so did she from the opposite side Natasha made certain to hit the button for the cargo door of the small ship. The sounds of the doors yawning open from the back followed her out of the cockpit on the other side of the ship.

Sitting out of sight within the Gummi Ships deep Shadow Natasha studied the field before her. Under the beating sun she could fully appreciate how intimidating Pain and Panic truly were as members of the Surge Guardians. Gritting her teeth, she banished this notion and focussed on her next move and watched Mark traipse into the Gummi Ship and return.

She decided on a gamble.

Natasha slipped from beneath the Gummi ship and into Prims shadow. By Prims shoe Natasha counted to sixty before placing her hand on Prim, simultaneously pulling together an illusion of the Girl whilst casting a spell of invisibility.

The illusion kept its look of fear, violet eyes pointed directly at the ground, but Prim herself shot a look down at her ankle where the chill had spread. Natasha looked up to where she assumed Prims face to be and her a finger to her lips.

Stay silent

Natasha heard a small gasp but nothing more. Commending Prims level headedness Natasha pulled on Prims ragged sock, gesturing her to move towards the Gummi Ships underbelly. Prim moved deftly, so light she was she barely left a trace, into the shadow and made herself as small as she could behind it’s landing strut. Feeling that both were safely out of sight Natasha let go of the spell.

“Quiet.” Natasha ordered in a whisper. “You hear fighting, hide in the ship. Understand?”

Prim, with tears silently streaming down her face, simply nodded.

“Listen, you’ll be safe.” Natasha smiled and handed Prim a glass bead, her last one. “Keep hold of this.”

She descended back into the shadows then and slipped her way silently to the illusion. With violet eyes and dirty blonde pigtails, it glanced up at Drake.

She’d had enough of these people.

James

James already had one leg in the latex smelling suit when Seth jumped into another corridor, possibly followed by someone else but James had stopped trying to keep track.

“Where the bloody...” James called after them.

But they were gone and the corridor closed with a pop. The other however remained wide open like a stain. James groaned before resuming his scramble into the space suit.

“Whatever, let’s just get this over with. Come one everyone, choose your colour and let’s get going.” James fell backward onto the ground in a grey suit just like all the others. “We haven’t got all day. Death or glory, death seemingly more likely and all that.”

The suits themselves seemed to be that rare case of ‘one size fits all’ as James felt the elastic material readjust itself around him once he pulled up the zipper on the front all the way to his neck. Shoes and gloves were already attached though James saw no sight of an actual helmet.

“Pardon me.” James moved around the new arrival on his hunt for a helmet. “Don’t suppose you saw any helmets?” A dome suddenly wrapped around his head from the white collar. James yelped in surprise, not that anyone could hear.

For a minute his mouth flapped open and close but no sound could be heard outside the bubble, until he found the switch on the collar by his neck.

“found it. Okay guys I’m going to blow a hole in that station and hopefully catch them by surprise.” His smile was faltering and his voice had an edge that was just shy of being manic.

After tapping away on the keyboard, a dull boom could be heard as if it were from somewhere far away. A faint breeze began towards the black swirling corridor. On the view screen a large hold had now appeared and debris flew out of it, tumbling into the freezing expanse. James ignored it and the bodies that could be seen and instead turned back to the rest of the group.

“Okay. Is everyone ready?” James summoned his keyblade in a flash of light. “They should be busy for a little while now so lets go!”

Waiting for the others to prepare themselves James lead the charge through the Corridor and shot out the other side. He stumbled to a stop and felt his keyblade pour magic into him.

“Oh we’re screwed.”

Despite her complaints, she willed her keyblade to appear, and somewhat apprehensively went though.

“Now that our part of this transaction has been done,” Nails said before he extended his hand out and added; “Now you hold up your end of the deal.” Drake let out a sigh before he turned to the Prim illusion Natasha created for herself. He knelt down and a grin formed on his face.

“Hope you’re ready for this? I’m not James, so you might not like fighting alongside me, but thanks for helping,” Drake said before he began to explain, “When you see the spark of lightning, try to create a smoke screen or something to obstruct their vision. we can't fight them all ourselves. That will be our chance to leave. It won’t be easy, but then again when are things ever easy.” He then stood back up and looked back at Nails.

“Saying goodbye?” Nails joked.

“Nah, just letting her know how to run the ship. Instructions are shitty and the ship is sensitive like a damn Sand Sharks skin.” Nails nodded just as Drake began walking towards Nails. Nails smile grew as he watched Drake walk closer towards him. Drake waited for several seconds before he let a small spark of lightning spark around his fingers on his right hand.

James

They had emerged in a large storage room of some sort filled with wailing sirens and ammo crates, a form hiding behind one stack of them, with a large door at each end. Around one door the enemy had surrounded.

Bloody Terminators

Those were the words that popped into James’ head when he saw the soldiers; half of them attempting to prise apart the door, the other half pointing their weapons at him and the others as they arrived. The tanks ceased their fire upon the door and instead turned their large guns towards the group, turbines on the spider tanks sides began to spin and whine.

James felt his keyblade shake violently in his hands as the soldiers charge their weapons and fire beams of searing blue light. For James, the bolts of light appeared to grow slowly out from the guns as magic sped up his mind. He stood between the ticks of a second watching the bolts lazily fly towards him, just as slowly he pulled up his keyblade and twisted around, willing his limbs to move faster. The first bolt slammed into his keyblade and flew off to the sight in a burst of light and a ring.

Time returned to normal and James found himself being bombarded by the soldier’s blasts, being pushed slowly backwards by the force of them as he blocked them from hitting the others standing behind. When a bolt seared a black mark onto his suit James grimaced.

Above the alarms James shouted, “Someone smash’em!”

The barrels of the Spider Tanks shone maliciously.

Natasha

Black smog erupted from the Illusion of Prim; a thick and suffocating thing that felt like sugar paper against the skin. From above it looked like a square that encompassed where the Surge Guardians had stood, but with a small circled in the centre that was clear so Natasha and Drake could see.

Natasha stood with a hand out stretched, despite this though she looked annoyed.

“Why don’t we just kill them now and be done with it!” She snapped.

There were sounds of movements, possibly the guardians hunting for them or just paranoid delusions. Natasha followed her gut and treated them like the first option. Signalling for Drake to follow her as she moved swiftly to a different potion, hands folding the fog around them.

The smog exploded from the illusion and caused the Surge Guardians to jump just as they were engulfed inside the smog. Nails sneered and yelled, “We had a deal you little shit!” he searched through the smog for any trace of Drake, but found nothing as the smog seemed to get thicker the more he stood inside of it. Nails quickly placed a finger over his ear and ordered, “Find them damn it!”

When the Smog engulfed the area, Drake quickly took out his goggles from his watch and placed them on. He tapped the side of them and they began scanning and giving his readouts of where everyone and everything was. He quickly grabbed Natasha’s arm and ran towards the ship while saying, “Do you honestly think the two of us can kill all the Surge Guardians? Even if I had my Shadow Nexus, We’re still outgunned.” When he reached the ship he quickly and forcefully pushed her inside the cargo bay.

“Get the ship ready and make sure our passages are set,” Drake said before a gunshot rang out. Drake let out a cry of pain as he staggered back and grabbed his right shoulder and cursed, “Fucking hell. Screw it, just go!” Drake ran into the ship, not even checking both Prim and Jinx who were in the ship and slammed the accelerator. The shop hovered for several seconds before it shot into the air and towards the main ship.

Once out of danger, Drake let out a sigh and sat back in his seat only to feel a searing pain in his right shoulder. He winced before he placed his hand over the bullet hole and felt the blood slowly leaking from it. He sighed again, “Should have known Zack was somewhere out of sight with a sniper rifle. The bastard was an amazing shot even the harshest of weather.”

“Everyone else ok?” Drake asked.

"Hm?" Her attention was taken by the gummi ship that had arrived, and followed Seth's gaze towards it as she stepped beside him to look out of the port. "So I guess that's the ship I was worrying about earlier." Things are just never a cakewalk nowadays. Mai leaned back and turned back to the others as she listened to whatever they were talking about.

As a result however, the girl had missed whatever Seth saw. "What's wrong?" Before she could get an answer, he suddenly opened a second Corridor and threw himself as well as Mantis through it. "Hey wait!" She rushed forward to try and catch Seth at least before he went through the Corridor, but she tripped and ended up passing through it unintentionally.

Thankfully her landing on the other side didn't cause her to crash onto the floor, but she did stumble a little before regaining her posture. "Can you give a warning next time at least before you go off again?" She sternly tried to reprimand the Nobody. Although it probably wasn't so convincing given her tripping predicament.

As she gave the Corridor that brought them there a quick look, it had just about closed before anyone else could follow them. Moving through one still gave her the chills, so she was thankful that they didn't use this method of transportation often. With their only way back closed, she redirected her attention back to the Nobody.

"So, what did you see?" It didn't seem like Seth would just go off randomly unless he had a reason for it, despite his penchant on disappearing sometimes.

"Well that was unexpected." Seth hadn't immediately registered that he and Mantis were followed. Mostly because the city he transported them all to wasn't exactly quiet and peaceful. It was in fact under attack. Was it the Heartless? Not exactly. The pseudo-City-State of District 2 was under siege from enemies outside of its protective walls. Human enemies, a collection of fighters from other districts led by one Katniss Everdeen alongside a handful of other Tributes for this year's Hunger Games. But whether they intended it or not, they're attack on the city had a bit of a side effect: Heartless. Perhaps the chaos of the siege called them here, or maybe Katniss waited for them to show up in order to use that confusion for herself? No way of knowing without asking the girl herself.

"That other ship beamed someone down here to the planet's surface," Seth said, finally explaining himself to Mai, "so I brought Mantis down here to find out why. Didn't mean to drag you down here with us, sorry about that." not there was much time for apologies, since Shadows were beginning to emerge from the ground. They didn't waste any time zeroing in on someone wielding a Keyblade. Luckily, Seth had a sort of army of his own. Snipers appeared on the surrounding rooftops and started picking off the Shadows as they emerged.

"I dunno about you guys, but I'd rather not waste time on small fry. What do you say we go looking for my not-so-secret admirer? Speaking of which..." by this time Seth had taken off running with Mantis and - presumably - Mai in tow, "...Mantis, did you locate her yet?" From the time they first emerged from the Corridor, Mantis was mentally scanning the area around them for anyone who didn't belong on this world.

"Between the invaders and the Heartless, it's too loud for me to read anyone in particular. Either that or she's out of my mind's range. You'll have to do this the old fashioned way for the time being."

Elsewhere in District 2, a beam of light struck the paved ground and produced a young woman in armor. It looked like something out of Mythology, like one of the Norse Gods descending down from Asgard. Elise looked around at her surroundings, and scoffed to herself when scores of Shadows emerged from the ground at her feet. She was right after all, the Darkness really did still plague this world. Well, no more, now that she was here Elise would purge this victimized world of the Heartless vermin that infested it.

Without her even needing to speak or make any moves, small spots of light appeared around her feet only to produce a score of spears made of light that jutted up from the ground like some kind of spike trap. This destroyed a majority of the Shadows that were appearing. As for the spears of light, they vanished almost instantly after appearing, leaving the ground around her as it was before. From this moment, Elise began to slowly make her way around District 2. Her pace was slow but deliberate, the Heartless attracted to her because of her Keyblade and Heart of Pure Light. As they appeared, a repeat of the first encounter played out. Spears of light shot up from the ground or simply materialized in midair before flying forth to skewer the creatures.

For Elise, finding the Keyhole was actually a simple task. As one of the Seven Princesses, Elise felt naturally drawn to the Heart of this or any world she set foot on. The Keyhole called to her, as it would any of the Princesses, with a simple desire to be closed before it could be devoured by the Heartless. And so that was the direction Elise moved toward, slaughtering all the Heartless that appeared before her along the way. That Keyhole was here somewhere, in District 2. And if the crew from the Ruler of the Sea was unable to seal it, then as a knight it was her duty to do so herself.

James would find himself rushed by a circle of Shadows* and Air Soldiers**, supported by Yellow Operas*3 that would launch bursts of Thunder at him and his allies.

Max and Evelyn

There was another door...at the far side of the room, meaning that he had to sprint past Cyborgs, Spider Tanks, and some Large Bodies*4 in order to get to potential safety. What he didn't know was that on the other side of the door was Evelyn.

Max frowned as soon as he saw where the other door was. "Time to fight." he said, summoning his keyblade and closing his facemask. Despite the size of his guymelef, Max was quick to maneuver his way through the combat, taking out a few of the monsters as he went, and slid to a stop by the other door. With a smirk, he pointed the weapon towards the group to let off a few fire spells before spinning to punch the door.

Space Station 13

Max would stomp on a few Large Bodies, effortlessly kiling them. The Spider Tanks, on the other hand, would fire railgun shells at Max's Guymelef, wrecking the Mecha's armor and causing massive dents. Maybe the Pilot/Keyblader should have thought better of sprinting across a room filled with hostile war vehicles? Well, he would at least open the room to where Evelyn was, surprising the Magical Medic.

At the same time, James, Katherine, and now Taka would find themselves in a chaotic battlefield where the various Heartless mentioned before were reinforced by more Cyborgs; these ones used flamethrowers, flamethrowers whose heat and light would force Taka to take up most of the work of fighting this enemy.

Nevertheless, after each member of the group had taken an injury, they would manage to clear this chamber, and James, Kat, Taka, Max, and Evelyn (if our dear skeptic survived) would be able to finally meet and chat. Max would get a very helpful flyer detailing the mission of the group (find the Seven Princesses of Heart, then use them to turn the Heartless of the Multiverse's creator back into a Human) teleporting in front of his face.

The enemy appeared to have retreated. They had the time for a meet, greet, and more explanations. The flyer Max got would also detail who James, Taka, and Kat were; James was a Keyblader whose skills were more in hacking than combat, Taka was a Nobody with absurdly strong powers, and Kat came from a grim Urban Fantasy world but was still joyful despite that.

District 2

An army of Heartless, attracted by the female Keyblader's weapon, would appear; but this time, three Guard Armors were leading them!

"Well, I admit that's partly my fault too. I should be more careful around Corridors." She said as she sheepishly scratched the back of her head.

"They sent someone down here?" She gave the idea some thinking in her head. "Just one person?" If they really did send down just one person here, then that probably meant they were someone really important. And important people tend to be pretty powerful if their previous encounters were anything to learn from. Maybe Seth wasn't planning on fighting, if his reasoning for bringing Mantis here was his only intention.

Her muscles suddenly tensed as she felt a few Shadows appear from the ground behind her. Summoning her Keyblade, Mai quickly dispatched the ones behind her with a quick swing. The ones further away from them were already being taken care of by the Nobody's Snipers.

"Wait wait wait, shouldn't we help the people here first? These guys can't handle the Heartless, right?" Besides the Heartless, she really didn't like the idea of humans fighting humans. If they could focus their attention onto the Heartless first, then maybe the invasion could stop for now and maybe things could settle down. Before she could get an answer though, Seth had already started running with Mantis behind him.

"Ah, dang it! Wait for me!" The girl exclaimed as she followed suit while making sure to smack as many Heartless with her Keyblade as she could while doing so. She had also noted the new types of Heartless that were showing up and how they were now following them. Apart from the usual, there were a few airborne ones, some big guys, and a few living armor it seems. Although she really wanted to help here, if she loses sight of Seth then she could be in a lot of trouble since she didn't have a map or knew this 'district' that they were in. At least she could redirect a number of the Heartless to them and away from the humans as they tried to find whoever was beamed down here.

"Tocsax says she's one of the Princesses we're looking for," said Seth, partially answering Mai's question about the strange ship sending only one person, "odds are she can handle herself. She sounds pretty angry too, so I'd bet my cloak she's the one giving the orders on that ship." whatever the reason for her coming down here, Seth was determined to track her down. Speaking of the Nobody, he was being surprisingly serious. Not quite the chuckling prankster he usually presented himself as. For this particular situation he couldn't afford not to take things seriously.

Mai objected to the idea of ignoring the small Heartless, wishing to fight them off and help bystanders. Mantis seemed to share this sentiment, "If we just let Heartless run rampant aren't we no better than those you're fighting against?" Unfortunately that meant Seth was outnumbered on the matter, though he tried to continue with his original plan at first. And then the bigger Heartless started showing up. A Large Body made to throw his fist at a woman trying to protect her child.

"Damn it!" muttered a frustrated Seth. He suddenly darted ahead, faster than Mantis or likely Mai could move. Next thing anyone knew, the Nobody had put himself in front of the woman in time to actually catch the Large Body's punch, stopping the attack dead in its tracks. With another swift motion, Seth twisted his body around and actually flung the big brute of a Heartless right smack into another Large Body that had spawned nearby, "I hate being one of the good guys..." he muttered again, but noticed the grateful look on the mother's face before she ran away with her child to somewhere hopefully safer, "...sometimes." he admitted.

Seemed Mai and Mantis were getting their wish for the time being. Of course, that meant whatever time they used protecting people was more time for that wayward Princess to get away from them. Or maybe not, from a corner a little further ahead the shape of a Guard Armor crashed into the side of a nearby building, the Heartless practically broken to pieces from the attack. Then, from around that corner came running a woman in silvery armor, definitely not a native of this world. She wasn't alone either, it looked like she was escorting a small group of native citizens. Before the Guard Armor could stand itself up a bunch of spears made of light just erupted from the ground below it, skewering the Heartless and destroying it completely. The woman's group was being pursued by another pair of Guard Armors that were on their heels. When the woman turned to face them, Seth glimpsed her cape and recognized the symbol etched in it as the same one from the unidentified ship. It was her.

"Mantis!" Seth shouted, pointing in the woman's direction so he would know their target was within sight. Mantis - who had just finished using his psychokinesis to fling away a group of attacking Shadows before hurling crates and barrels at them - offered a nod of acknowledgement and concentrated his attention in her direction in an attempt to read her mind. With that objective underway, Seth looked to Mai and made sure to signal to her that they had a pair of incoming Guard Armors to deal with before finally darting in that direction himself.

Elise, for her trouble, had found herself leading a group of citizens to safety. While her primary goal was the Keyhole, her honor as a knight would not allow her to ignore those in need. The situation was not helped by the appearance of a trio of Guard Armors, likely due entirely to her ownership of a Keyblade. She stood strong though, deciding immediately that she could feel remorseful after she'd successfully saved these people. When one of the Guard Armors lunged for her, she reflexively summoned a shield of light around her and the group she protected. The Heartless's attack bounced off the shield harmlessly and instead the demon was sent flying back into a nearby building. Finally, an opening for her and the group to escape. She led the group around the corner with the other two Guard Armors hot on their heels. She was able to use spears of light to finish off the first Guard Armor, and once she was no longer flanked by the brutes she turned to fight the other two in earnest.

"Attack if you dare, Heartless!" she announced, her voice loud and bold for all to hear, "But as God as my witness, you shall not pass!" by now she summoned her weapon, a Keyblade of all things. If it weren't for the key-like teeth on the tip, it could have been mistaken for some kind of regal sword. The hilt was that of a sword, and even the hand-guard was rounded and only present on one side, like the guard of a saber or rapier. The way she summoned the blade was odd as well. Most Keyblade wielders simply held out their hand and willed the weapon into existence. Elise instead did so only after reaching toward her hip, as if drawing the blade from some invisible scabbard like a knight drawing their sword for battle.

James

James groaned a groan that last an impressive amount of time and finished with a deep breath inward. His stomach churned with a strange mix of anger and fear. With a further sigh, he let his keyblade disappear with a flash satisfied that they were safe for now.

He removed his helmet with a click and began digging out the little shards of glass in his suit; the remains of the shield charm which had shattered after a few hits.

“I swear to god if those terminator pricks are going to jump out of the walls I’m going to murder them.”

James hissed when a shard cut his finger. “Thanks for the help there mate. Don’t supposed you got a spare Gundam thingy on you at all?”

He was already moving towards the wall as he asked this to where a little black panel was set into the otherwise pristine white wall. A simple tap summoned a holographic keyboard and the screen changed into an image of the station. A red dot appeared in one of the large storage rooms and a red line drew itself from there up to the control room, when James touched it.

James tried to smile. “My, my what have we here? A lovely little map for dear visitors such as ourselves.” He made sure to take a photo of it on his phone.

Natasha

“Yeah. Everything’s hunky-dory back there.” Natasha shouted back up at him. She patted the belt buckle and smiled at Prim. “There we go, all nice and secure. You were very brave y’know, I was pretty impressed.”

Prim simple mumbled a “yes” and continued to stare around the room. The bounced and Jinx’s head lolled onto the other side, she too was strapped securely into her seat against the wall but apparently still out cold. Natasha hung onto the fabric hoops overhead for balance.

“Is she dead?” Prim asked, almost enquired.

“Nah, she’s just out cold right now.” Natasha’s answer was followed by a long pause. “Here, let me fix up some of those bruises.”

Prim’s eyes grew to the size of dinner plates when Natasha’ hand began to glow a bright green and she followed her hand as Natasha waved it over the worst of her bruises and scrapes.

“Are you fairy?” At Natasha’s nod Prim then asked. “Can you grant wishes?”

“Depends on the wish.” She replied softly. “I can see you’re already very smart and kind. What more could a little girl ask for?”
Prim frowned slightly. But then she asked with a heavy heart. “Can you help my sister? Her name’s Katni-”

Natasha held up a hand. “Katniss Everdeen. Yes. I know and we, as in me and the people I work with, including the grumpy cowboy up there, are seeing what we can do.” Hope shone in Prims eyes as she smiled.

“I’ll be back in a bit so don’t go anywhere” Natasha clambered up the ladder into the small cockpit.

The cockpit was only just big enough for the pilot so Natasha settled for craning her neck over Drakes shoulder. She sniffed and then looked down at his wound.

“Nice to know my shield charm got used, if you’re foot suddenly hurts it’s a shard of glass. Here, hold still for a sec.”

Again, her hand shone a bright green and she waved it over his wound. A warm dullness would surround Drakes wound as his flesh slowly pulled itself back together, he would feel anything object inside being roughly pushed about, until only a shallow hole was left. While it wouldn’t bleed, if left alone, the wound would still hurt for a good while after.

Drake felt a warm sensation in his shoulder and around his wound as it slowly began to close. Once she was done, he winced as the pain returned to his shoulder, but not as bad as before. He let out a sigh before he pulled his Rapture pills from his pocket and took two before handing three over to Natasha.

“Give one to Prim. It will help her with her injuries. Use the rest for you,” Drake said before he looked out the window of the Gummi ship into the vast ocean of space. He started to drift into a thought. He knew what was going to happen after all of this. He knew how obsessed Nails was in getting the Shadow Nexus. Now that he knew about an even more powerful strand of it. He knew he’d be more relentless in getting his hands on it. He took a deep breath and said, “Natasha, can I ask you a question?”

“Are you able to alter or erase memories?” Drake asked before he continued, “If so. I’d like to make a deal with you: that woman in the back is my friend Jinx. I want you to alter her memories so that I’m no longer in any of them. In return: you can have whatever you want.” He wasn’t about to just ask for something without explaining his reasoning. So he began to tell her what he was thinking.

“This fight with the Surge Guardians needs to end. Nails knows about the Shadow Nexus Primal. He’ll be more relentless in getting his hands on it. He’ll use more destructive tactics to get what he wants and that means the Surge Guardians will be more aggressive,” Drake Explained before he continued, “So I’m going to end this once and for all. You all need to focus on the Dark Seekers, not on the Surge Guardians. So when we get back to the main ship. I’ll drop all three of you off and finish this war I started so long ago.”

"You all have worlds to save and go back to, but I can't go back to Chrono. There is a law in place that should any person or group tries to stop the government from acquiring new Knowledge. The are deemed, terrorists and executed without trial," Drake explained

"That was..still not used to combat."
"Is everyone okay?"

"Well then, that was quite the warm-up!” Taka exclaims, rotating his right arm and neck in an orderly fashion, as though he had only just got done with some form of training. He was able to shrug off a good majority of the hits he had taken by utilizing attacks such as Salvation throughout the battle, so in his mind, he hadn’t felt it was necessary to go all-out on that horde of enemies. With that mindset, he was able to focus on the analyzation of his newly found comrades, getting a feel for how they fought and carried themselves inside and outside of the battlefield. “So, with that bridge crossed, anyone know where the others are?” He then pauses for a moment before asking another question. “There ARE others with us, right?” While Taka had multiple faces floating about in his thoughts, he was having trouble placing names to them at the time. Perhaps an even bigger introduction was in order..
