@DrunkasaurusRex@Ezekiel@Flagg@POOHEAD189@Penny@Andreyich@Eisenhorn@Ollumhammersong@Ezekiel You are more than welcom, Ezekiel. Thank you for your interest!
I'm on a phone atm, so I'm not going to [@] everyone, but - assuming people read this - I thought I'd just expound on the concept of this being a form of 'persistent world' RP influenced by more traditional TT RPGs.
At this juncture I just wish to speak about characters, so that once the RP actually gets going there will be fewer queries.
So, like any TT RPG, I'm planning on from the bottom and toward the top (although reaching it may be harder than first expected), everyone starting with 'basic' characters I.E. below mid-tier but above useless. For example, I'd accept a militiaman or caravan guard with limited military experience, but not some hardbitten army veteran or mercenary sellsword; the point of this is purely for developement, the same going for magic users.
I intend to put everyone through a narrative that will possibly see them become these things, but over time.
Let me be straight, you don't need to be...say a rat-catcher or a rag-collector, a farmer or a peasant - in my experience people actively dislike such 'base' avatars - although I'd not be adverse to that.
In short;
everyone in this RP will be fresh-faced at the beginning, having chosen a life of adventuring for their own reason(s), though not necessarily naive or ignorant (they will have had a former occupation after all (or not, that's up to you)) but by the end of it will be very different/changed.
In this vein, I'd like everyone to keep an eye on their character sheets and edit them accordingly I.E. Your character loses an eye, put it down. They gain a new proficiency in magic, mark it. They join a secret society and don't tell anyone...yea.
Aaaaaany questions?
