Let's just not ignore the fact that Helena is offering people a legit way out of the Nexus.

Yeah, but why would you want to leave the Nexus? Nobody really knows what exists outside the Nexus, and the Nexus makes you immortal.

Bonesword won't leave. He's trying to get back with Abigail, not leave her behind.

@Lonewolf685
I'm not just going for broke. I'm trying to do something that may halt her movement.

This begs the question, what would happen if every single character took the deal? Would the RP end or would it shift to a Slice of Life where everyone is rooming with each other trying to make it as super powerful beings in the regular world.

That'd be kinda fun, not gonna lie.

"So it says here on your application that you have a... slime... child?"
"What's that supposed to mean?"

Probably the latter. A story arc is in mind.

Well off the very top of my head, I would summize that for those hungry for power;

In the Nexus, there is a set order to things that is enforced and propogated by the mass proliferation of super powered beings in constant conflict. You lot are part of this motley lot and are exceptional save for there being so many of you.

Therefore, leaving the Nexus and entering a more mundane universe would leave you beyond the sight and control of higher beings while standing head and shoulders above the lesser ones. Hell, even Miyu could live like Deva if she found a generic slice of life world without powered people, so imagine what Henry, Fran, or Endian could accomplish with a universe beneath their heel and no architect to lay a design for them to fill.

You may not be immortal, but most here are long lived or ageless anyway, and you'd certainly be gods wherever you went with more combat experience and power then any who would possibly cross you. It's an opportunity to carve out your own utopia and instill your ideals upon it for universe of your own making!

A chance for Bonesword to rest at a peace.

A chance for Henry to own a fracken universe and all it contains.

For Fran to find love without the lines of conflict to restrain her.

For Miyu to go where none know her treachery and she can be as wacky as can be.

For Wolf to establish a perfect order.

For Khaine to stand vigilant over a young mankind.

Simply put, it's the chance to be unfettered by all but your own willpower, free at long last from a cycle of ceaseless conflict, or create one anew. The choice would be yours.

The only character of mine that would say "Yes" to that is Lillian, namely because it would give her a chance to become the best alchemist in the lands.

Bonesword and Abigail would say no, they both want to reunite and live out their lives together.

Frog would say no unless he figured out what happened to Artoria o so long ago, and then he'd say no because he would want to free this realm.

Eve... well... Eve'd say no because her entire race is here, including the guy that she may-or-may-not-have fucked during this entire battle.

While certainly an option for those who desire nothing more than 'owning a universe', most people have stakes in the War. Either they serve one of the three sides devoutly, or they want to beat those who lead the sides. The more warlike either want to keep fighting, or want to prove themselves by squaring off against the Vassal-tier characters. Others want to 'save' the Nexus, ending the constant war by eliminating those who propagate it.

Leaving the Nexus just means running away from whatever your goal is here, and abandoning all that you leave behind. It's not something most are willing to do.

Looking on past efforts to flee the Nexus or find an escape from the conflict, I revel in the cruel irony of your collective proclamations of denial. Continue on with this path if it is what you so choose.

Really? Helena offered a way out. Boy, I missed that one. That's what I get for trying to read posts at work.

I was under the impression she offered a "Yeah, you'll TOTALLY get out (and then I'll mind control you)."

To be fair, she might have. Candy Man in the Van ya know? She's offering something sweet but she's still a stranger danger. Anyways I might have a post up soonish.

Titanica won't be joining the battle. What are you intending?

Summoning Titanica because she isn't suppose to be at this battle.

Also my usual tactic: Distraction and being the focus of all the attention and firepower.

And lying.

She and Zeruel are under rock after Khaine blew up the ceiling. Zeruel is dead. Titanica isnt but she's buried for the time being.

Summoning Titanica

One cannot simply just SUMMON Titanica.

(lowkey want her to bust out in the last minutes of the battle in her human form and then just scooch outta there but then again I did say to Windel that Ill be sticking to my guns, so idk, depends if it may be possible or not)

Normally I don't want to spoil to the surpirse, but I find honest the best policy to getting shit done when bold face lies taken at face value doesn't do the trick.

But Fran isn't actually going to summon Titanica, but an illusion of her, because Fran is well aware of the destructive potential of Titanica and hopes to use the bluff of total annihilation to make Helena go all out on the radioactive monster, which may or may not give Fran an opening to actually get to Helena or whatever the objective of this battle really is.

You really dont wanna piss Titanica off as much as she is...

Otherwise you may feel the BURNING SENSATION of death.
