Because Umbra is not human so his appearance required that I describe that. I also like to get someone's voice down because the photo cannot tell you how they speak, etc.
I don't have any requirements besides the ones on my interest check. Let me get the sheet.
Hey ladies and gentleman the first NPC for Rogue X is put up. He's our tech specialist, he runs the computers down in the basement level of the apartment building.
He helps out sneak into secure buildings, allows us to communicate on radios.
But he has no powers. So treat him like a delicate vase.
Now that I've seen him, I can imagine Garfield sometimes hovering behind him, checking what he's doing before leaving - you know, see if he needs help and all.
Ever had one of those moments. Where you found a photo it works. Then several days later you find an even better image that fits the character better.
That's what happened to Serenity. Her image changed.
Don't panic. It's just a wig. It's not her real hair. Her hair is still brown and so are her eyes, but she chooses to wear wigs and colored contacts. To be cute and fashionable.
I'll have the sheet up later today.. Just realized it's 3am and I have my grandparents coming over in just 6 hours... Want to get the sheet done right, instead of rushed... About hallway done with it, though. :)
Name: Corinth V'shan
Alias: Pulsar
Age: Appears ~35 Earth Years, his race ages very slowly. He's just reached maturity.
Gender: Male, Loren. His race is all male with Gors being the more aggressive and dominant "gender"
Appearance:
Corinth is a Vulux, a humanoid from a distant system in the galaxy. Vulux are an all male species with a wide variety of features. Corinth likes to appear more human as he has chosen this planet for his Journey.
"So.. I'm actually pretty short compared to everyone else back home... By at least a foot. Here' they look at my two yunam- I mean 6'8" height and say I'm tall... It's kinda weird sometimes, but a Loren has to take what he can get."
Personality Strengths:
Having lived most of his life being viewed as weaker by his society, Corinth has proven that he's rather hardy, both in body and in mind. He doesn't go down until the fight's over. He's incredibly loyal and is very generous with what he has. Corinth actively tries to disprove many stereotypes, especially the ones his race have against others and themselves.
Personality Flaws:
Corinth is rather brash and known for a temper that can cause a lot of damage to things and people around him. When angry he's not someone you want to be near, since he stops caring about consequences and acts on his instinct. This behavior causes him to have bouts of depression, as he's not exactly able to control himself since he's rather young.
Powers:
Ergokinesis: Corinth is able to manipulate nearly any form of energy like all of his race, however, due to his lux(gender) as a Loren, he is only able to generate and store up to 150kA of energy which he stores as electricity or light. The more he uses his powers, the higher the risk of losing control and causing an explosion. He generally uses his powers to set up precision strikes or aid in his melee attacks. In a fight against a Vulux, one's strategy is to slowly whittle down the amount of energy they have until they can no longer use their power and become little more than fodder... However Corinth refuses to reveal how strong the Vulux Gors really are, giving only a comment about "We'd have your energy problems completely solved." when he was introduced to Earth's energy grid. "Light is my favorite. Some Gor can even manipulate hardlight. They dive deep into thermal vents that we have on Vulu."
Regeneration: Corinth has a high regeneration rate... So long as he's exposed to or is storing several Amperes of energy for a while. All Vulux possess this ability and Corinth has mentioned that yes, Vulux give each other energy to heal wounds. "Band-Aids are very primitive... You seriously have a long way to go..."
Minor Gravity Manipulation: His specialization as a Vulux is in creating Gravitational Anomalies. So far he can only use this to fly, increase his strength and make things heavier. "I generally up the gravity on me... We've got higher grav on my planet. And better weather. And Food."
Major Skills:
Soldier: Trained by his First Father, a general in the Vulux army, Corinth is rather proficient in fighting. He is trained in most firearms, solely to see how their mechanics work so he can mess with them. "Trained with First Father ever since I was young... He was a pretty hard taskmaster. You'd think I'd get a little break with being his son and all.... Heh, no."
Physicist: He has spent a vast amount of time studying the effects of energy and matter, so much so that he is prone to studying his own powers in new ways, often creating some chaos around him. "I know you humans are a young species... But you're sciene is probably more diverse than ours.. I've seen some cool stuff back home, but this Einstein sounds like someone Lab Chief Invern would love."
Tactician: Being weaker than most of his kin, Corinth developed a mind for planning several moves in advance, and several contingencies as well. He used this to help secure his Journey off Vulux at such a young age. He is rather good at chess and his natural intimidating form helps keep potential "problems" at bay. "Fight hard, but smart. There is always someone more powerful than you, just have to be ready. Helps to be the biggest guy in the room, too."
Minor Skills:
Culinary: Being a Loren, he was expected to tend to the house and home unlike his First Father and brothers who are Gors. His Second Father taught him how to cook and grill and he's been able to translate these skills to Earth. He find the art of cooking to be a challenge, often creating new and exciting dishes from scratch.
Multilingual: To prepare for his Journey,
I'll explain his race better in his history. It's not a canon race so I can change t if need be, but took the liberty since canon Marvel has like several dozen species of aliens and not all are well known anyways.
Age: Appears ~35 Earth Years, his race ages very slowly. He's just reached maturity.

Appearance:

Corinth likes to appear more human as he has chosen this planet for his Journey. He has several tattoos, a dragon sleeve on his left arm and on his right bicep is the name Arien.

Combat Body: His body is much more durable and s immune to Earth's toxins and diseases. Has higher strength as well. "Haven't gotten sick once here. Guess its because of our different biology. Though it seems I'm just slightly stronger than you guys buy a thousand pounds. I think the Hulk or Juggernaut could be the only ones to go toe to toe with a mature Gor though... And I doubt even they could beat the Sages... They are like, actual monsters among the Vulux."
Major Skills:
Soldier: Trained by his First Father, a general in the Vulux army, Corinth is rather proficient in fighting. And damn, his hyian is divine..."
Multilingual: To prepare for his Journey, Corinth studied many of the languages on earth, to the point where he is fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese and American Sign Language. "What? I'm a Loren, they expected us to become scholars since we're small. I just learned so many since I was bored. Damn *mutters a swear in a Vort* gors always trying to *something in Vort* with the tiny Loren so I was stuck inside for days on end."
Musician: Corinth has amazing singing voice and a knack for instruments. Since he has arrived on Earth, he has gotten into the nightclub scene and occasionally does a gig locally as DJ Quasar. "We praise music where I'm from. Art is a fundamental part of Vulux culture. Some Lorens dream of using their art to gain audience with our Kings. Hell, that's how King Adjan and Consort Penx met."
Weapons: Being a Loren, he didn't have access to weapons. He generally carries a modified Oruki, which is simply a conductive spear made of a metal found on Vulux that is lightly stronger than adamantium. It can hold just as much as energy as he can in the Virulen Crystals embedded in it. It was a present from his First Father for use on his Journey.
Equipment: His suit has pockets embedded inside for his wallet and IDs. He always has his wallet on him and when not out in costume he's usually carrying his car keys and day to day stuff.
History:
A race of humanoids from hallway across the galaxy. They are all male in earth physiology, but have two Lux which is their version of gender. They are quite large in figure, with Corinth being the smallest Loren recorded in history. "It's kinda weird having some of my younger brothers towering over me by a yunam."
Gor: This Lux defines the true males of their species. They used to be very aggressive and territorial. They are incredibly strong and hardy warriors who love challenge. Gors are the undisputed rulers and make up most of the various armies. They are known for being domineering at times and brash. "The strongest Gor are known as the Dragons. behind them are the Sages, but there are a few Loren Sages."
Loren: Corinth has been cleared to mention that Loren are the more submissive and smaller Lux. They also are the ones who birth the children, but as he isn't a Gor, mating with other species is not possible. Loren are also weaker. "Doesn't mean I can't kick your ass."
Corinth is the middle child of five. He grew up being one of the smallest and weakest Lorens to ever be born, so much so that the records were pulled up to prove the fact by King Adjan, his grandfather. Corinth worked hard to prove that he was just as good as any Gor, working hard to raise his strength.
At a young age, Corinth's family was involved in the Ember Wars, which was a war over Loren Rights. Several Loren had an uprising because of the ethics of being forced into marriages they did not want, simply because there were fewer of them. While Gors can have children with each other, Lorens make the best breeders. The war was painful and swift, with several Kings being toppled because of unethical conduct such as polygamy and not wanting to follow the rules made after preventing them from having harems of Lorens. After the war, Vulux settled down and was rather peaceful, as the planet and its colonies usually are.
When he hit puberty, Corinth was known for being adventurous. So much so that he often went where he shouldn't have gone or got lost in Oiri(ohr-ee). His First Father often worried as he was a very small Loren and several Gor often made passes at him. None of them tried anything until he as almost an adult. a few cycles reaching maturity, he was assaulted by a Gor in a rival kingdom. He was pregnant with the child but due to complications with his health and since he wasn't fully mature yet, he lost his son due to miscarriage. He named his unborn child Arien. It's a sore spot for him since because he was able to have the child at all proved that he was an extremely fertile Loren, which several Gor kings wanted to have.
When he reached maturity he set off for his Journey, a path all Vulux take. The journey is to realize what one wants to do with their life. Having had a few bad cycles on Vulux after the loss of his son he decided to look off world for his journey. His Second Father mentioned that Earth was rather hospitable, albeit a bit behind them in technology, and Corinth chose it. He arrived and was promptly taken in by SHEILD who questioned him for a month on why he was there. When he proved that he meant no harm and was there not to cause problems, he was placed under watch in Chicago. He became a costumed vigilante because Chicago didn't have many and he wanted to help his new community. SHIELD wasn't too happy with it, but if a King from a planet where even the Nova Corps dare not anger tells them to back off, they obliged and let him do his own thing. When Rogue X was formed he was asked to offer support, which he did.

This behavior causes him to have bouts of depression, as he's not exactly able to control himself since he's rather young.
I feel his personality could just be about anybody. It's rather vanilla and doesn't really make him stand out as a person. Fine, but at the same time I am not really feeling it.

Your powers need to be tightened. Ergokinesis for example is too vague and wide. Energy can come from lots of things. Narrow it down to one and give it some real limitations, rather than the vague arbituary ones you have given it.
Most of the bodies like Regeneration and Gravity all need some kind of limit and you need expand on their detail of how they are used.
I feel at this current time they are too broken, too open ended, and too vague to be acceptable.
He right now is sort of coming as Wolverine, but what if energy and gravity. If you stalked the interest check, my sheet states that I do not like absolute powers nor omni powers. So I generally don't like when someone can just do anything and everything.
Otherwise the character itself is okay. It's not jumping out to me. He seems like a generic everyday super hero. Which again is fine, but I generally do like when people go for more creative. Especially when it's coming so close to the wire as I wait for two other people.
Your sheet is pending until the things I address are addressed, in a respectful manner please.
NPC section has been updated. I basically have an unidentified section. Depending on how the Arcs go and because I like a little mystery to people's motivations, the unidentified section keeps my plans of each character a little to myself, gives you guys a good mystery to chomp on. And consider who is friend and foe.
Depending, considering I have 10, maybe 12 people, and I can split the group up evenly, I make make a Sub Arc 1. But I am not entirely sure. Any thoughts is the time to bring them up.
I never worked with such a big cast, normally I keep my cast at 5 and 6, but everyone's sheets were so good that I had to. I like a little autonomy, as in characters do what they want as I like a little open worldedness to my RPs.
The way I have this planned in the IC, is not even being called to do a thing. The Arc starts because Serenity wants to see the weird German circus. Eh hem she could get costume design ideas for Halloween this year. [don't ask she's weird] and wants an excuse to go to conney island.
Your characters can choose whether or not to go to the circus. But I don't want those who sit out of the Arc to be bored. So;
Do you want a Sub 1 Arc? or do you want to do something fun, slice of life, bonding with the others who don't get roped up in an accidental arc?
