Party Trick: Is EXTREMELY flexible. Like, it's weird. She was a gymnastic back in her younger years and it DEFINITELY shows.
Profession: Writer (Poetry)/Works as a librarian part time
Personality/Bio: Veronica is... what you may refer to as a 'Bad Egg'. If you ask her teachers, parents, and old classmates of course. She's never been really... into academics. She used to always go on about how school was useless. How kids should only have to learn the basics unless they NEEDED to know more for a job. She thought having to know the area of a square to be a useless thing. Of course, her parents forced her to focus on school and even negotiated getting her into gymnastics in Middle School if it meant she'd TRY.
And she did, reluctantly... and she was very good at it. She was a very gifted student and was able to get brilliant grades... she just hated it. And it wasn't until after she graduated highschool and had her pick at any college that she told her parents about her desire to become a poet. She'd always been a more quiet girl, preferring to spend her time at the library with her head buried in a book than off socializing or partying. (She even had a part-time job at a cafe to keep her busy.) And with her somewhat dark and dry humor, natural affinity for sarcasm, AND her blunt honesty... she didn't have many friends either.
Of course, her parents didn't approve of her choice in occupation but she didn't care. She was a free woman. Using all the money she'd saved up, she bought a nice little apartment to herself. (She even got her father's old jeep as a graduation present. Good thing she took the gift BEFORE she told them about her desire to become a poet.)
And it was soon after her 19th birthday that she published her first book. A book full of all the poems that she'd written prior, all in one book titled: Chapter 1. (She thought it was clever.) And it did really well! It was received well and it even got to the top of a few charts for a while. It was more than she could've ever hoped. And for the next few years she lived her life her own way: Balancing writing with work at a library (She still LOVED reading.) and just taking time for herself. She had no real time to date apparent from a rare fling every once in a while. And she also has no real time for friends either. And she may say that it doesn't bother her or that she doesn't care but...
SPOILER ALERT:
It bothers her.
