Appearance:

History: Kyo's father was killed by Seijuro Nandate during the Second Great War. At the time, his mother was pregnant with him just as the war was about to end. His father gave his mother very specific instructions for how to raise Kyo. Upon birth he was sent to Kumogakure to a pair of foster parents that knew his father very well.

His father's reasoning for sending him to Kumogakure was simple: he feared that the war would not end in time and the genocide that was committed against the Uchiha would extend to his son so that a new generation of Uchiha would not grow up to rise against Iwagakure. It turned out that the war ended just before Kyo was born, so he never knew of the tribulations his clan went through. Most of the Uchiha were killed during the Second Great War, many of them collected by Seijuro Nandate and had their eyes harvested.

Kyo grew up free of the constraints of war. In Kumogakure, no one knew of his Uchiha origins. His identity was not made known, so he was raised without special treatment. While things came easily to him, he was always made to work for his achievements in Kumogakure. It was here where he was trained by a man who eventually became the Raikage, and though he initially showed an affinity for Fire Release, the man insisted he learned to use Lightning Release techniques in Kumogakure. The Raikage taught him the secret Black Lightning technique of Kumogakure, and taught him their secrets.

When his Sharingan manifested itself he was told the truth by his foster parents and sensei, that he was here on the order of his father. Upon learning this he was sent back to Konohagakure to live with the remainder of his clan, where he learned that his mother died during childbirth.

This is where Kyo's descent into isolation grew exponentially. With his mother gone and having never known a true bond with his clan, he buried himself in his work as a ninja, but never grew close with any of his squad. He focused on training himself and was one of the brightest Genin of his generation. Konoha gladly accepted him back into the village with open arms and touted the prodigy of the Uchiha clan. His Fire Release techniques blossomed as the remaining members of his clan fostered his training.

Kyo was focused on nothing but himself, honing his skills until he progressed beyond his years. That is until he met Senna. She was able to see through his disguise and touch on the parts of himself that he never showed anyone. At first this angered him and he teased her as a result of it to hide his own insecurities. This never bothered Senna as she knew the nature of people all too well and could always see the reasons behind why people acted the way they did.

And so he grew to know her, and eventually opened up to her. And slowly the two grew fond of each other. They were paired in the same squad with a boy named Mitsuki who was always the loudmouth prankster of the group. While Kyo despised his presence at first and loathed his flirtatious demeanor toward Senna, he eventually grew to love the kid and treated him like a little brother. The three of them went on missions together, became close with one another, and grew to love one another.

Although Kyo had experienced loss, he had never known the pain of War thanks to his parents' generation. That was all soon to change when one day his longtime friend Mizuki went missing on a simple reconnaissance mission.

Personality: Kyo is a very meticulous Shinobi. Details do not escape him easily. His observance knows no bounds. Over the years he has grown outwardly cold, mastering the art of hiding his emotions from others as a true Shinobi does. However, to those whom he carefully selects he will reveal his true self to. He is caring and soft, only hardened by the world around him. Through the years his skin has thickened to the point that his patience is not easily broken by the mind games of others.

However underneath his cold exterior he cares deeply for those close to him, albeit he chooses those close friends carefully as he knows that everything in this world is temporary, and seldom does he find someone worth the pain. Kyo has known great loss in his life, and this has molded him into a very cautious person in all aspects of life.

Combat Style: Kyo's combat style is not all too complicated. He does not focus on a singular method of combat but rather chooses to often sit back and let his opponent make the first move. He will analyze their strengths and weaknesses and devise a strategy from there, choosing from his skill set to see which best suits the situation.

Description: Kyo pivots off one foot while leaping into the air, turning his body 540 degrees. During the spin his body becomes almost horizontal so that he brings down his back foot onto the opponent's body, commanding a generous following of Black Lightning down with him as he lands. Even if he misses, the danger of this technique lies in the amount of lightning brought down with him. Ten meters from where his kick lands outwards is struck by a blade of Black Lightning that cleaves through the earth, leaving a several meter deep scar in the ground.
Drawbacks: The user is left vulnerable during the spin not once, but twice as they must perform a full spin in the air and land with their back turned to their opponent. While dangerous for the user, the speed at which this technique is performed means that the he opponent must be observant enough to take advantage of this, and to find this weakness the first time the technique is used and to take advantage of it would be impressive.

Description: Kyo throws his hips in a circle while leaping into the air and performs a 720 degree spin while kicking at the opponent three times, going from low to mid to high. If the first kick lands, it is fast enough to break their knees. The second kick aims for the midsection while the Third goes straight for the head, and the centripetal force generated by the third kick is enough to break the victim's neck. BUT WAIT THERES MORE. The deadliness of this technique comes not from the three kicks, but the absolute shitstorm of lightning they bring with them. Upon swinging his legs in a kicking motion the sharp strikes he utilizes produce blades of lightning all around his body in a hurricane of Black Lightning that cut all of those around him. The blades twist and churn for about ten meters around him and weaken as they extend past 3m but can still pierce skin and most armor at the 7m mark. Landing on the ground after using this technique destroys the earth around him for several meters.
Drawbacks: Like with the Corkscrew, his back is turned not once but twice during this technique. There is a small window during each spin to take advantage of, however one would also need a workaround for the spinning lightning. The main drawback is at the moment Kyo becomes fatigued and must temporarily deactivate his Raiton no Yoroi for thirty seconds after using this technique.

Weaponry: The seals on Kyo's wrists contain numerous shuriken, kunai, explosive tags and senbon. The each also are able to summon a sword to either hand, the swords specially made from chakra hardened steel which are made to channel chakra fluidly through the sword.

Miscellaneous: Kyo is considered an honorary brotha due to his time in Kumogakure.

【Personality】 Kaba's personality is unique as he has two different 'sides'. These two sides are in constant conflict with each other and often causes Kaba to question who he really is. On one side, he's generally goofy and good-natured. He shows kindness to most, and displays a willingness to make his companions smile. He can often be clumsy and zone out more than he would like. Kaba has a very low attention span that results in him having trouble finishing things he starts.
On the other side Kaba's personality and mood can become very dark. He will oft show a lack of empathy or compassion to those around him when his mood shifts. He becomes lost in his own unmanageable, twisted thoughts. He could be described as cold and merciless. This change only occurs usually when he feels bothered or insulted. During this time, Kaba usually attempts to alienate himself as it seems like the only way he can return to what he considers 'normal'. Truthfully, he doesn't know which of his personas is the norm for himself yet.
In battle, Kaba is very prideful and cunning. He cannot stand the thought of losing at anything and attempts to always keep pace with his opponents. When he makes mistakes, Kaba will not always own up to his shortcomings and make excuses for himself. Sometimes he can become very complacent until given a reason to improve. Kaba would much rather eat barbeque and chase women than train, but when he does train he does so with the goal to be better than the man next to him. He can also be seen as quite immature for his age.

【History】 Kaba's was born and raised in Konoha. He doesn't remember anything about his parents, as they both passed away while he was an infant. His grandfather, who primarily raised him, only gave him vague details surrounding his parents' deaths. Outside of what he was told by his grandfather, he has heard many rumors that his mother had gone mad shortly after Kaba's birth and killed Kaba's father and then herself. Kaba, scared to learn the truth has never asked much about it. As a young child, Kaba craved attention, and would often cause trouble to keep his friends entertained.
As he grew older he began distancing himself more and more from crowds, and only voluntarily hung around a select few. At a young age Kaba admired the different shinobi he would encounter, and would seek to learn from his grandfather who was very skilled himself. Kaba displayed a natural talent and quickly fell in love with the thought of becoming a renowned shinobi. Unfortunately his grandfather at the time was extremely stern with his training, and would frequently resort to physical abuse when he felt Kaba was slacking off. This is something Kaba never shared with anyone as a child, and he aspires to prove to his grandfather that he is a worthy shinobi capable of leading the clan.
Although, due to the abuse, there is a part of Kaba that would like to retaliate against his own grandfather for what he did to him. Presently, the desire to seek revenge for the hell he endured grows each day. Kaba tries his best to suppress these feelings, but he knows that he will soon have to face them.

History: Unsure, will attempt to figure out.

Hailing from a little known clan with little in the way of affiliation or alliances, Kazayatsu was one of several children raised by the entire clan as was their custom. Though the Great War raged on during his youth he was largely ignorant to it despite the training he and his relatives endured in their youth. It was not until the age of 10, when he had distinguished himself from his peers, that the war truly became real to him.

A raid came upon their compound in the night and, despite his training, he could do little against the adult shinobi. Nonetheless there were few casualties, for mostly supplies had been taken. Sadly, Kazayatsu was not a boy with good luck, so he was one of those few who lost someone that day. With no time for a funeral for the dead, the clan picked up camp, in hopes of finding somewhere more secluded where the war would touch them less. In the wake of this, Kazayatsu had little time to grieve his mother.

Thrown into an even harsher training regimen, Kazayatsu and the entirety of the youth population were turned into child weapons, and though the clan wished to flee the terrible conflicts of war, they were indeed used as such. Raiders, battlefields, bandits, and passing armies terrorized their clan, but they stood steadfast and kept on, with Kazayatsu, the adults, and the other kids defending them as they moved. It was hell, seeing his friends and those he looked up to falling like flies around him, even with the strange morals that his clan taught it just...seemed terrible. Still, while the everyday grind was one thing, the Battle of Black Forest was another. Passing through the territory of the Land of Fire their troupe was ambushed in a forest by a group of mercenaries looking for supplies, soldiers, and women.

Taken off guard, the clan was hardly prepared for the strike and many fell even in the initial struggle. Many died that night, and many more would as the sun rose above the trees. With shinobi left and right, killing and attempting to capture those he loved, something snapped in Kazayatsu and it was like a door opened to Hell itself. Cornered by a group of eight shinobi in a thick copse away from the rest of the fighting, what the adults saw as a thirteen year old child became a demon, fire and ash rolling off his form to consume everything. The shinobi, having one water release shinobi, lasted longer than most might, but Kazayatsu's newly awakened Kekkei Genkai, and rage won out. He left that copse burning, and the forest burned with it. Wherever he went, their enemies died and while he perhaps saved his clan, they did not respect him for it, they feared him.

Treated as a pariah from that point onwards, Kazayatsu was chained up, seals placed on his body to prevent his use of chakra. Whenever fighting needed doing he was released on their enemies. The number of people he killed piling up as the months swept by. People stopped calling him his name and started calling him Kuroyaju: The Black Beast. This continued until his clan found a secluded, defensible position, where they still live to this day. Of course, while the fighting stopped soon after that, the Great War coming to a close, his strife did not, for the clan no long had any use for him and so cast him from their ranks.

Wandering for many days and scrounging up whatever food he could, Kazayatsu eventually made it to a small village in the Land of Stone, beaten, half out of his mind, and starving. He passed out at the edge of the village.

When he woke up a day later he did so in a small cottage in town where Sukui, an old widow, had taken him in. Sukui took care of him, nursing him back to health, treating him like her own child. He grew to care about her, and she about him. Things were good for a time, what with peace having fallen over the lands, and with him no longer fighting for his clan's survival.

Still, as he grew up, dealing with the traumas of war, abandonment, and being treated like a monster rather than a person for so long he became discontented with life. Eventually, when he was only 16 he bid Sukui thanks, and departed, leaving with her all the money he had saved over their time together.

Striking out on his own, Yatsu took to mercenary work, using his old skills to do the dirty work of others. When he had saved enough he started changing his practices, taking jobs, only to fail or both them entirely at the expense of those who would use violence to attain what they desired. It was the folly of a young man, but it helped. As time dragged on he eventually came to grow past the horrors of his childhood, with the beauty of the world and some of the people in it becoming the things he truly cared about. At the age of 19 he had found his way to Iwagakure, where after a long period, he became an official shinobi of the village. While work dwindled for people of his profession, he kept things up, helping the community however he could in addition to protecting it whenever he had the chance.

He became well known in Iwagakure for his thoughtfulness, good humor, and dedication to the people not to mention his ability to drink most under the table.

During this time the Tsuchikage had been keeping a close eye on the outsider, and as his age slowly caught up to him he decided to take Kazayatsu under his wing. However, he did so privately so as not to sway the people as the reality was that he was training several younger shinobi to take his seat when he was gone. Yatsu took to the elder's teachings as if he'd been born to them, eager due to the man's accepting and open nature. The months passed and the Tsuchikage's age truly took hold, eventually driving him to hold a series of tests in which the next Tsuchikage would be chosen.

The eight disciples, including Kazayatsu, took part, along with eight others. Out of the ten tests, Kazayatsu lost only one, and it was the combat stage. So it was, that day, that he was given the title of Tsuchikage elect. In the coming months he was acclimated to the position of leadership with the Tsuchikage looking over his shoulder to make sure all was well. Finally, when he felt that Kazayatsu was ready, he rested...and on that night he passed away quietly in his sleep. The next day was one of grieving for Iwagakure and no one was more sad than Yatsu, who even cried as he gave his speech at the late Tsuchikage's funeral.

However, as the sun rose on the next day preparations were made for his rise to the position of Kage. So it was that two days after his mentor's funeral, Kazayatsu became the Tsuchikage. That was seven years ago and since then Yatsu has become even more adored by the citizens for the most part.

Yet, beneath the surface something lurks, for no man is always as good as he says he is...and Kazayatsu is no exception. The question is, what exactly is he hiding beneath all that kindness and whimsy?

What indeed.

Personality: Kazayatsu, or Yatsu as he prefers, is an intelligent man with an appreciation for the finer things. Travel, art, beautiful women, theater, tea, and to a more limited extent, alcohol are the things that he lives for, preferring to just let himself coast down the highway of life. Yet he remains a man with dual nature who takes great pleasure in truly testing his mettle against those of equal strength or mind, preferably both. Though, oddly, he prefers to do so through games or intellectual jousting, rather than physical conflict. Of course, this is not to say that he has a particular distaste for conflict or strife, but rather to say that he'd prefer not to exert the physical and energetic effort that it takes to partake in such.

Beyond this, Yatsu is a dedicated, eccentric, and steadfast individual who cares about both others and himself to a fairly equal degree, even going out of his way not to kill his opponents when possible. In fact, he has the tendency of using intimidation, and to a more limited degree, pain, to pacify his adversaries and remove his obstacles. This way, even if they live with trauma, they do live. After all, that's what matters isn't it?

Description: A deadly implement, Tōki Shinzō is capable of collapsing into itself, reducing it to the size of a cane when not in use. Description: Referring to three distinct uses, this technique can either be activated from preexisting lava, from his body, or from his spear. When utilized from preexisting lava, a build up of heat energy occurs deeper in the lava. Upon the user's mental command the pressure and heat are released upwards, blasting powerful geysers or sprays of lava out of the pool(s). If this technique is used from his person or his spear it acts similarly, but instead uses Yōton chakra directly, releasing a blast of lava in the direction his hand or the tip of his spear are aimed. The first two uses require handseals, while the second does not. This technique can be used to cool down the lava as well. Additionally, when used from his hands the technique takes about 2 seconds to charge, whereas preexisting lava takes about 4 seconds, and the spear takes none since its use requires Sainan-shu to have already been utilized.

Weakness: Affinity weaknesses. Additionally there is a clear bubbling effect on the surface of preexisting lava, and a sudden release of heat energy a second prior to the release of the technique regardless of source.

The two most notable ones are to chain into other jutsu by inserting them into the ground via the spear, or conversely stabbing someone with the spearhead, causing the seed to release a small volcanic explosion as a result, which can cause severe burning and tissue damage.

Description: Either requiring one held handseal, or his spear, this technique pours yōton chakra into the ground below the user or in contact with the spearhead transmuting it rapidly into magma. This effect can be spread further either naturally by allowing the heat to transfer to nearby earth, or manually by spreading the chakra out to create a larger area of magma. The first is slower than the second, but also requires less chakra.

Weakness: Water affinity. Additionally the technique is fairly costly in terms of chakra, though this scales with the size of the area.

Description: Utilizing Chakra Flow on his spear with yōton chakra, the user slashes in an arc, creating a searing crescent, small wave, or burst of superheated air. This crescent can only travel so far, making it a close-ranged attack, but on contact can cause immensely painful third degree burns, or set fire to any reasonably flammable substance. The technique does not cost a lot of chakra, but is high ranked due to the damage it can do.

Description: Utilizing yōton chakra, the user will create a small ball with long thin spikes protruding from it from all sides. These spikes are composed of a mixture of obsidian and solidified lava, with the obsidian being on the outer layer. Once formed, the user will exude more yōton chakra, which they will mold into a rubber-like substance around the spiked ball, with the spikes protruding from it. This creates a projectile that can stab with the spikes, while bouncing off of surfaces.

Weakness: Can be dodged fairly easily and is not terribly useful unless used in enclosed spaces.

Description: Executing the single handseal, the user places their hand on an object and molds yōton chakra, creating a layer of the rubber-like substance over whatever they are touching. This technique can be used on a weapon to turn it into a nigh harmless sparring implement or on the user to give them a form of rubber armor. It should be noted that if used as armor, the rubber does have holes to let air through, though over time it may start to restrict the user's breathing. When used as armor, the rubber-like substance takes on the outwards appearance of the user, but with a slightly orange sheen, including skin and clothing.

Weakness: Is more resistant to cutting trauma than it is blunt force making wind affinity particularly useful. Fire affinity is moderately useful, as is earth, whereas water and lightning are essentially useless.

Name of Technique: Yōton yoroi: Shōgeki-gata(_{溶殻鎧: 衝撃型} 'Lava Release Armor: Ballistic Form').

Description: One of Yatsu's few complex jutsu, this technique is also seldom used by him due to his tendency to avoid close-quarters combat out of pure laziness. This technique works by coating the user in two layers of yōton chakra, which then solidify into two different forms. The first layer, closest to the skin, is a rubber-like material, while the second layer out is hardened volcanic rock. This armor affords a measure of protection against both piercing and blunt force attacks.

Weakness: The outer layer is vulnerable to lightning affinity, while the inner layer is most vulnerable to wind affinity. Additionally, the 'armor' is fairly heavy, preventing the user from high speed movement in favor of superior defense.

Personality: Bumu is everybody’s friend. That’s kind of it. Nobody really gets how it works, but one day you’re chatting with the boys, and poof, there is Bumu. Nobody remembers her joining, but you all can’t remember him never being part of the group. That is the best way to describe who Bumu is as a person. Just kinda there. Tons of fun, but you’re never quite sure if she’s on the level.
On issue is that she just seems to find the humor in everything, but is oddly wise. Often acting as a beacon of wisdom, or as a fireball of anarchy. Some suspect Bumu might be twins, pretending to be one person, but that doesn’t float any boats. Nor does Bumu himself float any boats, as she seems to get off on sort of pointless destruction.Often justifying a cause on the idea “That’s it’s funny!” but nobody around him gets the joke. Even she doesn’t seem sure of her jokes at time.
But, the mini-fox does seem to brighten quite a few days. Though her friends list is huge, and probably includes a few Kages in there.

History/Background: Bumu carries with her a legend! A ninja so strong she became Hokage at the age of 10! Wielder of the Rinnegan, Sharigan, Byakugan, and all nature releases, none who have brought his wrath have lived. It all began centuries ago, when the ninja world was forged. The eleven tailed beast appeared, and began to to ravage the lands! Terrorizing the ninja realm, until finally one ninja stood up to fight the foul monster. Bumu, daughter… Wait… Son? Either or. Child of legendary warrior Jaakuna Aka. Bumu stood up the to best, and they played a game of tic tac toe. Eventually, the beast was defeated, and Bumu was hailed as a hero for saving the ninja realms. FOREVER!

In all reality though, Bumu is the child of foxes. Child of Jaakuna the fox sage, and Tenko the fox. As a result, Bumu is herself a fox. He was born a fox, and she will die a fox. The only kit born of his mother and father. The fox kit took on human form, upon reaching the age fit for those in the ninja academy, and made quite the splash. That odd kid with the foxy grin who some swear they caught chasing hens. So Bumu seemed like they'd be an outcast. Except for you know, the whole being really friendly and in every social group kinda thing.

- Fox Senses Bumu is a real foxy one. As a result, his senses are tip top. Excellent sense of smell, hearing, and even sight. Making them the best tracker you can think of in a pinch.

Effect: The user begins by throwing an explosive tag. Upon exploding, another explosive tag appears. This creates a chain of explosions that fly through the air, creating an erratic and fast display of eruptions. The user can direct this by holding a handseal, or by releasing the seal the explosions will just bounce around around randomly in the general direction it was thrown in. The explosive chain continues up to about 30 explosions, and has a rough range of about a football field if it goes in a straight line. This technique is considered particularly powerful for a simple technique, as the user can throw more than one tag at a time to create a chain. At the moment, Bumu can start five separate chains at a time.
