One day, one random day in the middle of July, it appeared as if every electrical device that could produce sound malfunctioned, if only for a few seconds. After a few seconds of static and no more, a solitary voice began to speak. The culprit, while unknown, caused worldwide curiosity and panic with a single set of words as they permeated even the most secure of government communications and farthest reaching telecommunication networks.

"A dim night, the pale moonlight, and a wispy wind.
A shining sun, a cloudy sky, and a singular tree standing in the middle of a grassy field.
Though day and night are miles apart, they are, in essence, two sides of the same coin.
Just as fiction is to reality.
And so... What if 'fiction' and 'reality' were to meet? Upon this blank slate we call 'Earth', what would the end result be?
The stage is set, and the curtains have been drawn. The terms 'mastermind' and 'villain' are not in this story, though, and all that remains are the actors in this grand play.
Now, my dear viewers, let us see what path they choose in this grand farce, and how they—and the world—will react?"

The voice, sounding as if it came from a young woman, faded off into silence as fast as it had come, and the world was left in confusion. Of course, no source was found, but in the end, that day also ended up as the day everything began.
To be more specific, it was the day that 'fiction' and 'fantasy' met 'reality'.

Plot

In essence, this is a pretty basic(?) crossover RP that takes place on Earth. For all intents and purposes, this is our Earth, with all its modern amenities and whatnot. However, the reasons behind characters appearing and their reasons for acting... Well, that's something else entirely.

While bare-bones at first glance, more of the story will be revealed as the RP progresses, and so for now this will remain... Relatively empty.

Notes

All characters are bound in some way, shape, or form by the rules of the world that they come from; if they needed an anchor to remain in their own world, then they need one to remain on Earth. Following that comment, assume that there is a complete disconnect from a character's original world and the one on Earth, and that no connection can be made to the origin barring reality-warping shenanigans.

If a resource exists in a character's home universe but does not ordinarily exist on Earth, then upon entry it will now exist on Earth. Hidden and sporadically naturally occurring, but it will exist.

Characters will not necessarily appear within the same area, nor will their goals necessarily be aligned. This RP will span the globe, so don't be afraid to start in a city on the other half of the world.

Autotranslate is a thing for the sake of convenience, so don't worry about language barriers.

For the sake of the RP, characters should be at least semi-serious in tone. Blatant joke characters (at my discretion) can and will be declined. In addition to that, all characters should be from pre-existing works (or, at the very least, ones with relative popularity in some regard). No original characters or what have you.

Not all characters are created equal, obviously, but that doesn't mean swords can't beat guns or whatever. No character should be completely impervious to damage of any given type, and there should always exist some way for other characters to win if fight break out.

Humans on Earth can be affected by the residual 'influence' of characters of a particular type. For example, a DBZ character existing means that the 'possibility' of flight and qi, however slim, now exists. Of course, that possibility can grow stronger depending on the person and time, but in the end it's all up to random chance and luck.

For the sake of diversity... Three characters total per person, and a global cap of 3 characters from any given franchise; no player may double or triple up on a given world.
Example: Player A wants to use a Servant from the Fate universe. Player A may only use that one Servant, but player B may use one as well. Assuming that a third player (C) picks one, then from here on no other Servants may be drafted up/played unless one is dropped. First come, first serve.

Any further questions, you can probably just ask me about. Easy. Anyways, form!

The possibilities are too many. I'll have someone by tomorrow or at most this weekend, like I said before. I don't think I'll fill all three slots from the get go, though.

@SaveusY2J: Answers in order:
Yes, a picture is fine.
'Other' just means anything that might fit that I may have left out of the form. It's basically 'other stuff that doesn't fit in the rest of the form'.

  • Name: Mordred Pendragon, also known as Saber
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: "There's nobody stronger!"
  • Personality: Mordred is a surly, arrogant, and supremely violent individual with a massive amount of personal issues. She's got an extremely short temper and, in spite of her insistence about her knighthood and heirdom to the throne, a tendency to kick, punch, and even bite if she feels she must in a fight. In battle and indeed in all matters, she is also insistent Mordred loves battle, the more violent and intense the better, and shows absolutely no mercy to her opponents. Indeed, she is seemingly utterly without mercy. It may be surprising to some, then, that Mordred absolutely refuses to involve innocent civilians, will take no actions that could harm them, and will even do her best to defend them. In spite of how violent, rude, and arrogant she is, indeed it can be said that there are some traits of the blonde girl that can be considered knightly. Speaking of which, while Mordred has no issue with others knowing she is female, she utterly loathes being treated as girl. No matter who it is, no matter what the situation, she will immediately threaten anyone who calls her a girl with violence with absolutely no hesitation. At the same time, calling her a boy is likely to earn the same reaction. On the subject of her 'father', it can be said that Mordred outwardly hates her, but deeper down her feelings are far more confused. Mordred at once admires and loves King Arthur, but also despises and resents her in the same breath. She will not take praise of 'Father' well, but she will also become angry if 'Father' is insulted. She will take any chance she gets to wear something other then her armor, though she is also not a fan of anything overtly girly. She prefers shorts, tank tops, tube tops, jackets, and basically anything comfortable and easy to wear. She also greatly enjoys eating. She is also a rather immature, childish individual, prone to distractions and complaining.
  • Brief History: The Legendary Traitor Knight of the Round Table and illegitimate child to King Arthur, Mordred's role in history has forever ingrained itself in public knowledge as the name of one of the most well-known traitors in the world. And yet, deep down, all Mordred desired in spite of her outward hatred was the acceptance and approval of her 'Father'. Even as she died, even after she struck the King with a mortal blow, Mordred reached out weakly asking for her. But her life left her soul to be preserved as a Heroic Spirit in the Throne of Heroes, and eventually she was summoned not once, but twice. The second time left her in a situation she couldn't deny she enjoyed. Her 'Father' was there, in Chaldea, but regardless, Mordred took a liking to their Master and feels this situation certainly isn't bad. She has the same Master as a certain author.
  • Universe of Origin: The Nasuverse
  • Equipment: Mordred is equipped with two notable pieces of equipment: Her armor and helmet, and her sword, Clarent. Her helmet is known as Secret of Pedigree, a Noble Phantasm that prevents her identity from being discerned and any of her parameters from being recognized. If she has any excuse to remove it, however, she will. Her armor is extremely durable and strong, but also uncomfortable, and she is quick to take any chance she has to remove it as well.
Clarent, however, is a powerful sword in its own right. It is a strong, sharp weapon capable of quickly cutting through her enemies, but it possesses a key capability in channeling prana, allowing her to fire beams from the weapon. The strongest of these is an Anti-Fortress attack known as Clarent Blood Arthur, channeling her rage and prana into a devastating destructive blast. She will not use this if there is a chance of collateral damage against innocent people.
  • Abilities: Mordred boasts a high rank of Magic Resistance, though it is not the top level and thus she is not invulnerable to all forms of magic, only a fairly high percentage of them. Her rank in Riding allows her to master any vehicles with ease, though magical beasts fall out of the realm of her capability. She can recognize attacks and openings via instinctive action, and while she is violent and intense it cannot be said she does not display skill with a sword. She can also survive serious injuries via her Battle Continuation skill, and as a Servant mundane forms of damage must be incredibly strong in order to damage her. She is fast and strong, bolstered by her ability known as Prana Burst, which imbues her body with reinforcing magical energy. Indeed, Mordred is incredibly strong and powerful, but at the same time she still fails to reach the level of her 'Father' as a Saber-class Servant and as a knight, in spite of her claims to the contrary.
  • Other: N/A

Cagliostro, The Founder of Alchemy

Gender: Female

Appearance: "I'm the cutest alchemist in the world!~"

Personality: Cagliostro might seem like a cute and bubbly young girl at first but that's mostly just an act that she uses to mess around with other people. In actuality a rather learned and haughty immortal alchemist with a few screws loose in her head, Cagliostro is someone who is hard to put up with if you aren't able to take on her various eccentricities.

Despite her willingness to use force and intimidation to get what she wants, the girl only wishes to be left alone or with people she can trust enough to let down her guard. Fear of betrayal is why she tries to get people annoyed with her so they wouldn't build bonds that would hurt all the more once they come to conflict, though those who are persistent can actually invoke feelings of tenderness and protection from the alchemist... not that she would say it of course.

Brief History: Two millennia in the past were a pair of siblings living in a backwater floating island that was so small that there weren't any village doctors. Born as a sickly young boy who was described to "never survive past childhood", the Cagliostro of back then relentlessly researched myriad branches with the help of his beloved sister, perusing both science and magic before coming up with a new profession altogether: "Alchemy". With the miraculous craft now in hand, the boy then separated his soul from his sickly mortal coil before generating a new one altogether (even if it was in the shape of a woman).

From that point on, Cagliostro made a name for herself as the Founder of Alchemy, being the first person ever to practice the art and the most knowledgeable researcher on the subject for rather obvious reasons- having even seeing a 'truth of the universe'. Sadly all good things came to an end and the girl was sneak attacked by those she had no guard against and sealed by the bloodline of her own sisters' descendants for one thousand years until broken out by the Grandcypher crew. Now tagging along for the adventure as well as to dodge the Helmuth Alchemist's Guild trying to reseal her, the crazy alchemist is having a merry old time with her resumed research and adventures until she was pulled into our earth....

Universe of Origin: Granblue Fantasy

Equipment: Her research tome full of personal notes and alchemy circles used to fire off her techniques, a cute dress, alchemic regents/equipment, a sewing kit, and the ornate golden headband in which her soul can reside safely without being dispersed.

Why is your character here? Because she enjoys learning about the unknown and forbidden.

Abilities: Cagliostro is a girl who has mastered Alchemy on an almost unprecedented scale, with her being forefront in multiple branches but especially adept in dealing with 'life' itself though she's no slouch in messing around with the chemical composition of stuff she's either personally touched or cast a transmutation circle on if they're far away (think throwing a glowing stamp on something). She can modify the flesh to turn adult men into small girls (though it takes a long while to do so on things with a soul so it's useless in combat), speed up or slow down air molecules to stimulate fire/ice into existence, make the earth jut outwards or inwards with great force such as sudden potholes/stone spikes, and induce decay and rot into organic beings/rust towards mechanical ones by firing them off in the form of a localized explosive orb that'll trigger upon contact with target, or rejuvenate allies by shunting lifeforce into them to causing their cells to repopulate/cause buffs by filling them with alchemical energies in the form of an adrenaline boost.

True to being an alchemist, Cagliostro is able to craft homonculi to an insanely great degree, artificial lifeforms birthed by the process of deconstruction and creation itself. It is in fact how she manages to craft all the young girl bodies she now inhabits. The bodies are created without a soul so her own can properly pilot the flesh incredibly easily and customized so as to be perfectly synchronized with her spiritual self.

Due to being very good at creating homonculi bodies out of other elements and lifeforce, she's very well versed in human biology due to hating feeling weak and infirm, making sure that the bodies under her control are strong and healthy so to that extent, it would not be surprising to see a little girl wave around a crucified serpent in one hand or drag throw a grown man around with the other. She's rather squishy due to not wearing any armor though her ability to regenerate wounds in minutes make that a moot point (nerfed to Doomslayer and Alex levels). Should her body ever get destroyed, her soul has to reconstruct a new one which can take a while if not prepared in advance, probably around a few hours. While the soul is outside of a living vessel, it is rather easily attacked by spiritual creatures/techniques as well as being unable to do anything to the physical world outside of body crafting.

Her summoned serpents meanwhile are battle-ready homonculi created both for intimidation and combat, able to smash through walls with ease and having powerful physical presence due to the fact they're giant floating snakes. She can modify her Ouroborous serpents as she wishes, making them grow bigger and stronger. They can also swallow objects bigger than themselves due to being giant serpents, with the biggest they can manage being something along the dimensions of an African elephant at their largest form. The red one can control flames and the blue one ice when she's using their more powerful forms, and both turn into sand when they're damaged enough or she can't control her alchemy due to being formed from the very earth itself.

By using the crystallized essence of Nigredo from the Gate of Helmuth (which is basically a Phiolosopher's Stone that had its incubation process cut short in the second out of sixth steps necessary to become fully fledged), Cagliostro can become Cagliostro (Dark). Besides having a different dress, in this form her body is composed of pure Nigredo essence and thus inherently dark aligned. Her speed, range, and power of alchemy techniques have increased somewhat as does her durability though it comes at the cost of being really weak to light attacks. Her Ouroborous summoned in this form are not formed of the earth but appear as solidified specters entirely though they can be damaged as normal and aren't intangible in the least.

Other: Cagliostro's thought processes and soul are so beyond mortal comprehension that she won't go mad from looking at eldritch things that would crush a normal person's mentality. She has also gleaned some of the truths of the universe itself which made her a different kind of mad then usual. A pure mental attack connecting the user's mind to Cagliostros that seeks to consume the self would just be crushed by such powerful ego and turn anyone that isn't used to forbidden knowledge to overload their brains and turn them into vegetables.

Edit: First of probably many questions: so the character has to be a preexisiting character, can it be a character from any form of media?

Hm, aight. Let's see...

@Rin@VitaVitaAR: No issue for you two, so all clear.

@Grey Star: Super regeneration and infinite bodies is... Worrisome. Also the kit itself feels kinda... I dunno, overloaded? Too much stuff in a single package means an overwhelming... Well, basically a force of nature at that point. Also, drawing parallels to other things that are in the series assumes we know the scale of what your referencing, and not everyone does, so.
But yeah, core problem: legitimately no way to keep the character down without some really... Shady stuff, nor do I have a clear sense of scale as to how big or how fast your character can make/do stuff. So until I get a clearer picture, non.

@Dezuel: Okay, let's... Ignore all the various issues with spelling and grammar in the forms for the moment and look at the actual characters, I guess.
First character... Not many issues other than the writing ones. Big one is clarity on "impressive physical toughness, strength and most importantly speed". I need scale. Also technically you don't need to list literally every piece of clothing on them; just the important stuff like weapons and stuff works.
Second... People did research for me.
I found that the character can tank some seriously stupid bs with nary a scratch.
So noperino.
Third... No issue. All clear on that one.

@Crimson Raven: Must be pre-existing. No player avatar-type characters.

Anyways, forms, forms... Right, here we go.

And before anyone flips, let me point out that I've gone into detail on the form on limitations I am imposing on the character (and myself) to make this work. Went out of my way to try and make the rules for her stuff in the RP as clear as possible. Read it yourself if you don't believe me :I

Clarification Time

*Cagliostro's immortality works on a revival system, her current body has to completely cease functioning before she can craft a new one and no matter how injured she is, as long as the current body is still alive, she can't create a new one but has to focus on healing the old one. Her soul can easily be damaged by being out of the body for too long and thus needs to reside in the tiara to prevent dissipation of the ego. Any new bodies will be made in the general vicinity of the tiara for this reason.

*Her alchemy can only activate by being physically touched by her hand or having a magic circle projectile that's flung from her book to make contact with whatever she's attempting to modify for it to work. She can't reshape any material she doesn't personally know the composition of, and generally any such alchemy performed in this manner will be on a broad scale and not at all finely tuned. She can craft giant iron stakes or craft a rough throne out of stone for instance but if she wanted to do something like create a working firearm with all the fiddly bits, it'd take a lot more time and energy so using it in combat is moot. The only exceptions to these rules are her backup bodies and her Ouroborous homunculi.

*Her regeneration ability can potentially recraft lost limbs and organs, though it'd be a slow and painful process that'd take a few minutes to hours in general depending on what parts needs replacing and she'd need to transmute elements from her surrounding to replace the lost mass. The same goes for her general alchemy too. One can't craft something out of nothing after all due to the law of equivalent exchange.

*Cagliostro's physical limits though higher than average for someone of her age, is still ultimately human in nature whether it be strength, speed, or reflexes. Her mental endurance is much higher than average due to knowing pain that most people would never experience without actually dying many times over. All in all, one can simply overpower her quite easily and she has no sensor ability whatsoever so sneak attacks are one of her greatest weaknesses as well.

@PKMNB0Y

Regarding first character the amount of physical toughness is above the average human, in the sense that the person can still act and survive from having had been hit by a large fireball or a lightning bolt. While being wounded, even heavily by some of these it would not be enough to kill him with just one hit. The actual strength on using fist and feet is enough to cause a 2 metre cyborg to be knocked back and harmed. So not what one would consider average compared to a normal human. In terms of speed, he is capable of dodging quick projectiles like artificial lightningbolts, fireballs, rockets, machinegun-fire and beam attacks.

In regards to the second character.

If you want to reconsider it. Otherwise I'll just pick someone else.
