Bending Style: Some firebenders just use their hands, others have been known to firebend through war fans. Kahisa though, bends through her parasol. Her bending style is graceful, and less ‘brute force’ than traditional firebending. Though, it should be noted while she prefers to use her umbrella, she is not incapable of traditional firebending, as that is how she learned. Her fire is pink, and she calls it ‘the fire of passion’, it burns hotter than traditional fire, but not as hot as blue fire.

Positive personality traits:
-Sweet- Kahisa isn’t known for being mean, she will gladly lend emotional support, or even physical support when capable, if it’s needed.
-Sophisticated- Kahisa was raised in the ways of the court, she knows how to work her way around the political stuff, but beyond that she is prim and proper elsewhere as well, always being respectful to her elders, eating specific foods with specific cutlery, etc.
-Self Reliant- At first you might assume Kahisa to be a damsel in need of rescuing. That however is usually not the case. She is more than capable of taking care of herself, both with and without her bending ability.
-Responsible- Many would say Kahisa’s a stick in the mud, and she needs to learn to have more fun. The reality is she’s perfectly capable of having fun, so long as it’s not childish or going to endanger anyone.
-Confident- One of the things that Kahisa was taught in her studies was that confidence was key to success. In the court, and on the field of battle, your ‘opponent’ would try to lower this so as to gain the upper hand. As such, it actually takes quite a bit to shake the confidence she holds within herself. If she says she can beat you with one arm tied behind her back, she truly believes this to be true.
Negative personality traits:
-Emotional- Kahisa was told many a times that letting her emotions rule her was a bad thing. However, it’s never been something she’s been able to shake. She wears her emotions on her sleeve. If she’s happy, she expresses it. If she’s angry, she expresses it.
-Conceited- Kahisa lead a spoiled life, having everything she ever wanted handed to her on a silver platter. This made her grow up with some imperfect views, such as looks being one’s most important asset. Get mud in her hair in a battle, and she’s going to stop fighting to try and get the mud out...it’s actually quite funny to see.
-Condemnatory- She’s rather quick to judge people, even if they don’t really deserve it. People in low standing should do more to raise themselves up, if they don’t it’s their own fault. Believing ‘mixed bloods’, those with multiple bender ancestries, to be inferior to ‘pure bloods’ falls into this as well, as she looks down upon them like they can never truly be as good as her.
-Delicate- While not entirely a damsel, she’s not really a full blown fighter either. She’s actually rather weak in the physical department, and unable to withstand many blows in combat.
-Distractible- Kahisa is, put nicely, a bit of an airhead. She can easily forget what she’s doing, and move from one task, to a completely unrelated one. This is most common when her vanity is at risk, but is in no way limited to that.
Role: Firebending teacher
History: Born to a higher classed family in the fire nation capital, Kahisa has never been one to want for much. Of course, with this level of ‘spoiling’ came plenty of expectations as well. She didn’t have the wonderful life you would expect a rich kid to have. She had to earn her parent’s attention, doing adult things to do so. She would often practice in matters of the court, or even simpler things like dinner parties until they were like a second nature to her. She didn’t start learning to bend till she was sixteen, after her father had deemed her sufficiently studied in other matters. At first, she didn’t show much talent in the art, and her firebending skills were nearly non-existent, she could bend but her fire was weak. After a year, and having shown no progress, her father told her to give up and do something more useful with her time. However, she didn’t let this discourage her, and continues in secret. She learned that the more passion she poured into her bending, the stronger her fire was. She then used this passion, to develop her very own bending style. Her father, pleased with her advances in her studies, assigned her the job of representing their family in court matters at the age of eighteen, which meant traveling to other places for the first time in her life. Having just recently turned 19, she’s been representing her family for about two months prior to present day.
Special interests:
-Dance- Kahisa’s favorite thing to do is dance, while she’s not too awful fond of slower dancing, she loves the more exotic and energetic dances such as those performed at the fire festival.
-makeovers- Kahisa is a girl raised with vanity, as such, beauty is a high priority. If others will let her, she will gladly make them pretty, be they male or female. She has more fun giving males makeovers, and may be tempted to do so while they sleep.
Skills:
-Lying- Not the most honorable skill to have, but in order to make any headway in the courts you have to twist the truth to fit your needs. As such, Kahisa is good at this, and it would take an expert to discern whether she is truthful or not. Luckily, she isn’t too fond of doing this, and doesn’t do so often.
-Housewifing- As an only child, Kahisa is expected to continue her family line. As such, she was taught the skills to be a ‘proper housewife’ such as cooking, though she’s not too great at it, and cleaning.
-Dancing- She’s not fond of the slower dances common at formal balls, but it’s something she knows how to do, regardless of her opinion on it, because of her upbringing. Her skill in the ore exotic dances is something she prides herself in, though her father is less than pleased about it.
Hobbies:
-Berry Lovely Makeup- Kahisa knows how to mash a multitude of berries and herbs to use to make things like eyeliner, and even which berry juices accent the lips best. She often tests out new creations on those sleeping around her.
Relationships (family, friends, etc.):
Mother(Mirsazi) - Alive and well, sends Kahisa cards sometimes, whereabouts unknown because she travels often.
Father(Jerik) - Kahisa is often in some form of contact with her father, through letters or word of messenger. They don’t have the best relationship.
Maid(Sin) - Kahisa’s childhood friend, and the one who raised her when her father was too busy with work. She’s a good twenty years older than Kahisa, but they are still close friends.

Anything else worth mentioning: Her parasol was a gift from her mother sent from her travels. Because of this, it has sentimental value, and she get’s upset rather quickly at others touching it.

Appearance/clothing style: Kirra has a darker complexion speckled with freckles. She had big, blue eyes and very round features like some kind of Fae. She’s short for her age and has a very curvy build. She’s surprisingly muscular. Her hair is dark brown and hangs around her shoulders and she usually doesn’t do anything with it. She tends to dress in the popular fashion in Republic City with her own water-tribe twist, favoring clothes lined with kholasheep fleece and embroidered with moons. She wears a lot of blue. She strictly wears high-waisted bottoms.

Positive personality traits:
Loyal - Konna doesn’t dole out her friendship and loyalty easily, but once she decides that someone deserves it, she becomes one of the most trustworthy people in the world. She would do anything for the people she cares about, no matter the cost to her. She protects them anyway she can and wouldn’t turn against her friends if her life depended on it.
Good-humored - Konna laughs easily and likes to make other people laugh as well. She can find a good side in most things and is good at defusing tension between groups of people. She’s good at laughing at herself.
Adaptable - Konna is good at blending in with different cultures and rolling with the punches. She’s very good at compromising and figuring out alternate solutions to problems. As far as she’s concerned, there’s no obstacle she can’t get around.
Spontaneous - Konna is very impulsive and likes to create her own adventure. This trait also comes in handy in fighting, as her actions can be very hard to predict.
Negative personality traits:
Restless - Konna has a hard time staying still for too long, making her an unhappy camper when it comes to long car rides (or flying bison rides). She doesn’t like to stay in one place for too long and often gets irritable when she does so.
Non-committal - The idea of committing to anything tends to make Konna nauseous. She fears boredom and worries that she’s missing out on something even better whenever she commits to something. She values her independence greatly and thinks commitment holds her back.
Non-confrontational - Although she won’t hold back in confronting enemies, she is completely unable to stand up against her friends. She’ll let them push her around or act in ways that upsets her and just suck it up because she doesn’t want to hurt their feelings.
Childish - The baby of her family, Konna never really learned to act maturely about situations. She faces certain situations in a very immature way and often doesn’t understand the severity of her actions.

History: Konna grew up in Republic City with her mother, uncle, father, and older sister. Her mother and uncle were native to Republic City, but her father had incurable wanderlust that led him to immigrate from the Northern Water Tribe. Her father was ecstatic when she discovered her ability to bend and immediately began training her in her abilities. She’s a very talented bender and picked up on the basics easily. Her father passed away in an automobile accident when she was about 7, and her uncle took over her bending training. He struggled to convert his firebending technique to her waterbending, but Konna figured it out. Her bending tends to resemble firebending as a result.
Special interests/skills/hobbies:
Ruan playing - She taught herself to play the ruan as a child and is fairly skilled at it.
Drawing - She enjoys drawing, through she’s not very skilled at it.
Lockpicking - She taught herself to pick locks one summer in case of emergencies and just to have that handy skill.
Surfing - An ability that sprang from her bending, Konna greatly enjoys surfing.
Relationships (family, friends, etc.):
Father (Shikan, a waterbender from the Northern water tribe, deceased) - Konna doesn’t remember much about him, but what she does remember are all happy memories.
Mother (Shae Mee, a nonbender from the fire nation) - Konna is very close to her mother and stays in contact with her as best as she can.
Uncle (Rozik, a firebender from the fire nation, Lao Mee’s brother) - Rozik is a father figure to Konna and she looks up to him as a mentor.
Sister (Sae Yu, a nonbender) - Konna and Sae Yu are extremely close. They have an almost spiritual connection that lets them feel connected to each other when they need it no matter where they are.
Anything else worth mentioning: She doesn’t know how to use any weapons other than waterbending, so she’s careful to keep it on her whenever possible.
