Ahsoka looked over his shoulder to the book curiously skimming over some of it her expression blank. "If I were you I'd talk to someone who knows a thing or two about reshaping metal. Sure yours may be a little more fancy but I'd be willing to bet you'd learn something." The blue haired girl commented her lips forming back into her usual half smirk.

She turned to Roxy when she started to speak but turned back to Reeve as Roxy finished."And don't worry about earlier that's a warm welcome in my book, at least you don't talk with your fists unlike most thugs I know." Ahsoka said with a light chuckle casually shuffling a deck of cards she had pulled out of her pocket. Nowadays Ahsoka spent most of her free time in run down taverns so not much really shook her in regards to treatment.

Thom attempted to maintain his composure within the group of thieves and cutthroats, he wiped his eyes and yawned then tried to bite into the apple for the final time, this time succeeding.

Shi hopped off the barstool and waddled after Annie, hoping that his stature was not attracting any looks. The basement was a dark, musty place, with corners well built for hiding things in the shadows, should any city guard feel the need to inspect anything. When he looked around, he found the team to fit the room perfectly. All arrogant and vicious, they were, no more and no less. No different from the last team he worked with. "Goodings day," he mumbled quietly. It can't hurt to get a little familiar with the member dynamics.

The noise in the town was getting warmer and gradually more cheery as the light began to fade and Ratte found herself smirking softly as she made her way to Annie's tavern. Night was her favourite time of day, she liked to think that she thrived in the nighttime, as her namesake did. Something about the call of darkness when dusk set in sent a shiver through her and a thrill rushed through her veins. Normally she would revel in the feeling and find someone to share a bed with, but something told her she could find more to celebrate if she attended this meeting.

She pushed open the tavern door and carefully removed her hood. She pushed her fingers through her hair and mussed it slowly at the back, her dark eyes taking in the patrons and the layout of the little tavern. It was warm and friendly and everyone seemed occupied in chatter or drink. She made her way slowly to the back of the bar and, checking over her shoulder out of habit, decended down the steps into the basement. The haze of chatter didn't end, in fact it seemed to increase as she got down into the room. Most were there already.

She eyed the mix of characters and faces around the room and stared a little too long at the chest of the black haired woman standing in the centre that she assumed was 'Black Widow', then again at the other women throughout the room. She bit her lip and shook her head, "Damn..." she muttered, stepping down from the final step.

"So what did I miss?" she asked to the room in general.

Reeve looked at her in surprise "I suppose that a blacksmith would be of great assistance, even with such a strange metal." As she started shuffling cards, he watched her for a bit, then realized how strange he was being, and looked down intently at his notebook, eventually shutting it and clearing his throat. "What games of cards do you play?" He asked while putting he notebook into his backpack.

Alexai had been walking through the streets randomly, checking out people, checking out the market at some point. Only recently she had made her way towards the tavern where she was supposed to meet with Roxy and the team. She was guessing it was for a heist they were planning to do.

She entered through the back entrance, simply because she liked it more when the place was a little crowded. The woman looked around and watched some guys argue about something that she didn't care about for a very short time before she headed down to the basement. With smooth steps she went down the stairs and looked around before having made it halfway down. There were new faces, if she wasn't mistaken. She didn't like it. Alexai wasn't interested in bringing in new members. It was always such a big risk, always meant she would have to deal with yet another person, communicate with yet another human, learning how to team with them.

Alexai gave Annie a big enough smile and went in to hug her. She didn't have issues with showing some affection towards the woman. Why would she? After all Annie was part of their team, she was their heart. The strings that held everything together. Then she nodded towards Roxy real quick as a greeting. Alexai settled for a random spot, a feet or two away from Ahsoka, leaning against a wall and waiting for Roxy to explain why they were having a meeting.

Ahsoka continued shuffling the cards occasionally doing a small trick. She leaned against the wall and took note of a few people coming in. "Well I play all sorts, if you didn't know by now, I really like games." She said with a grin, propping one foot against the wall the buckles on her worn boot making small clicks with each movement.

"We could play a game sometime if you like but I get the feeling you're a bit too smart for that, losers tend to pay a high price." Ahsoka spoke casually watching Reeve as she tossed the cards backs and forth in her hands. He was definitely smart so she was glad she seemed to be on his better side at the moment, many of her acquaintances preferred to just drink and gamble so it was rare she had the chance to converse with someone of high academic caliber.

Kai flashed a smile back at Annie as she greeted him. Apparently, many saw her as 'motherly'. He had always pictured mothers as strict, uptight women who would never let the kids have any fun, but Annie seemed accepting of all of them, and he was glad that he could be comfortable being himself around her. He said nothing at the heated exchange between Reeve and Tristan, seeing as how a couple of other adults who were present had stepped in to deal with the situation, though, he was surprised at how pleasantly Reeve was responding to Ahsoka's curiosity. The mad scientist man was usually quite abrasive, but as their conversation went on, Kai could only wonder if the two would eventually end up kissing.

Annie had brought down an unfamiliar individual, a short Asian man who greeted them in the polite manner. It was clear that his first language was not theirs, but that probably was not an issue since he did end up with them in their basement. Kai grinned and nodded that the man, mouthing a 'Good day' back to him from his corner. However, as he waited for the meeting to begin, he grew bored of observing, regretting coming in so soon. A few more were still arriving, and not wanting to stay quiet any longer, he slid up to Isago as Alexai was greeting Annie.

"I should've stayed at the waterfront a little longer, it's rather stuffy in here," he began, before turning to Isago. "How about you, where have you been?"

Roxy scanned the room and estimated that almost everyone was her. She jumped on top of a table so she could be seen by everyone. One of the disadvantages and advantages of being barely five feet tall was that she was easy overlooked. In this case she didn't want to be overlooked. "Thank everyone for coming. I am sure you are all wondering why I asked you here. It's a very valid question. I was offered a job that I couldn't turn down. While I usually work alone this particular job is too big for just me to handle. It's so big that I think I need all of you to pull it off. I chose have been chosen because of the skills you possess. I will double the fee of those who charge regularly for their services. Those that do not will be paid according to you have been assigned. I assure you this job is large enough for all of us to walk away with a large profit."

While Isago waited patiently wondering when this little meeting would start, he turned his head towards a young teen male who addressed him in his starting conversation. Staring this kid down, he looked to be that of a pirate, someone he could probably connect with when it comes to the sea-faring theft.

To his question, Isago smirked "Heh...I don't think you're man enough or ready to handle what I'd tell you...I think you'll just ruin your knickers. I'll just say I've had some fun making new friends before coming here, child. Unless you really want to know? And as for my well being...I'm fantastically well..." He said with confidence. "What about you child."

That was when Isago looking over to Roxy when she spoke about this new job. Hearing her out, Isago waited to hear out any extra details she could add or for someone to possibly ask what job they are actually going on.

Annie returned Alexai's hug, enveloping her in her arms for a moment.

"Good to see you Alexai, hope you're looking after yourself. Have you eaten yet?" Annie fussed over the young woman for a moment before Roxy leapt up onto the table and began her speech. A tidy profit would be good, a lot of the people in here needed a stroke of luck to get them back on their feet and living well.

Shi sat down on the ground, looking up at the take-charge thief. He came to love these plans, the daring heist followed by the lucrative profit. He filled his head with histories and legends, day by day, always looking for a better opportunity. To think, with the right friends, such would simply come to him. It was only proper, after all, that he devote his attention to a speaker, as he was well taught in the bureaucracy.

Ratte leant back against the wall, dark eyes following the new members entering the room and she relaxed a little, watching Annie fussing over Alexai, not that she needed fussing over. She let her expression soften fondly, before turning to Roxy as she addressed the room.

The job she spoke of must have been huge, there were at least 10 people standing in the room. Normally, Ratte would call a good-sized profit a large bag of gold; a bed for the night; food that wasn't just bread; and some wine. That was just by herself. She wondered what the job could be to offer even just a bag of gold to each of them here. "How much are we talking about here? Nobody in this town has that much money without being the mayor unless he's hiding solid gold in the walls." She asked, raising her voice over the murmurs around the room.

"I'm doing good myself, Sir," Kai replied, curious about how scary these 'new friends' were from what Isago had just told him, though, the man did offer to give him more information should he ask, and Kai was contemplating on whether or not to do so, when Roxy leaped up onto a table to address the individuals gathered in the basement. It was sometimes easy to forget that the woman was at least four inches shorter than himself.

Roxy made the job sound exciting. Would this be like raiding and plundering a ship? Another small, yet well-toned woman then asked a question, bringing up the point that the job promised a profit that seemed too good to be true. Did it involve a visitor to the city, or a huge load of cargo coming in? Kai looked back to Roxy, anticipating her answer.

Tristan knows about a few ideas on how to get that amount of money. He knew that the money Roxy was talking about diplomats, trade ships or the duke's house. He trust that Roxy will not get him or anyone else in the grew killed but all these options were hard and he knew because he tried some.... Like he tried to steal cargo from a galleon called 'Wolf Slayer'. He failed after being seen by a scout but back to the matter at hand.

"We better walk out with barrels of gold and a pouch of gems.." Tristan said to Roxy

Skell slipped into the room, silently.
She settled into a seat in the corner of the room, making sure she felt the hard hilt of her dagger rubbing against the ankle of her boot before speaking.
"I'm sorry for being so late. I'm Stella, or Skell. Bring me up to date?" It was a weird group of people, looking like they all comprised of different nationalities and backgrounds.
She was pretty sure she wasn't the toughest of all of them, not close. But she looked stealthier than the others and she sure knew how to hide in the shadows.

Roxy understood their concern. While the city was big with several Nobel man. Not many of them had the kind of money she was talking about. She knew that she was one of the few that charged for her services. She had taken the time to gather information on everyone here. She doubted she would need it. In order to turn her in they would have to risk being arrested. She was always careful only to reveal herself to people who has something to lose if they turned her in.

"For most of you a good profit is a bag of gold. I can promise you more than that. You are Ratte. There are not many who could pay my fee once much less several times. But There is a visitor coming to town with a large shipment of gems and treasure for the mayor's collection. If we hit it just as it arrives at the museum we can get our hands on enough gold that everyone can have a barrel of gold and a bag of gems." Roxy assured them.

hearing Kai's response, Isago gave him a nod while keeping his arms crossed. The kid seemed amusing, but hearing what they were hitting, Isago smirked to the kind of job they would be doing. in fact, those were the best targets to hit...well one of the best. There were some concern as well to that because with such a huge scare came a huge risk in having it be guarded. Isago looked at Kai. "Interesting...that will surely satisfy some of us." he mentioned to the boy.

He then spoke out to Roxy about their target. "That is quite a score...and a hefty one at that. I like this idea but I assume you have a plan on how we will be utilized? You know with such a big shipment and value comes top notch security for it as well. We more than likely won't be able to just sneak around freely without running into some hired elite guards. This job may come with someone being sacrificed in our group if not careful."

Ratte's stomach flipped slightly at the idea of this raid that Roxy was proposing. She'd never seen more than a chest of gold, let alone barrels and as far as she knew gems only laid around the necks of fancy women. She could match any woman's desires with a whole bag of jewels.

Her head turned towards Isago as he spoke and her mood was dulled slightly. He had a good point - there was a lot at risk as well as a lot to gain here. She nodded slowly in agreement with him. "What do you know about the security of the shipment?"

"I know a little bitg about the security. The information is reliable. Will will need lookout. Those of you who excell in stealth will do that. We will need security to protect the out lookout and others. Those of use who are strong fighters will do that. And last we will need thrives. Those of us who are known for being thrives or pickpockets will do that. I realize a lot of you will be able to do more than one job which is a benefit." Roxy explained answering both questions at the same time. She was glad they had asked. A job this big didn't come around often. Roxy was hoping that that fact would get these people to work with her. She needed them to work with her or she wouldn't be able to pull off the job which wouldn't be a good thing.
