Background:Harmony is the eldest daughter of the noble Titanfoot lineage. Her parents were permanently assigned to the gnome embassy in Guillian when they were young, and thus she was born in the city along with three younger brothers. Such a life would present infinite opportunities to a curious young girl, but that was exactly the problem.
From young age, she was interested in destruction. Meticulous, planned destruction that requires setting various processes in motion to accomplish. The elders would say she has The Ember Ailment, but she was not a pyromaniac. At least not in the usual sense. Yes, fire was a means to an end, a dull one to be honest, though the process of firing a flintock was nothing short of amazing.
In other words, Harmony was a bored noble wanting to stir things up.
Her parents largely ignored her due to their duty, leaving her to roam the streets, and roam she did. She was fascinated with the kind of improvisation the poor employed, in everything from cooking to architecture. It was all so fragile, ready to topple in a cloud of dust at any moment, but holding nonetheless. She would apprentice with various handymen to understand this better. Unbeknownst to her, her every decision and move, while making her look like a genius sometimes, would be backed by some magic ancestry that allowed limited insight to both the past and the future, allowing her to understand the purpose and working logic of various devices while letting her anticipate the effect of her tinkering on them.
It would thus not take long until word of her reached those in less renowned lines of work, where she would finally receive a task worth of her talent.
