Trey's outward appearance is mostly superficial, as most of his body is just covered with synthetic skin that allows him to still look human for the most part. However, he does prefer to appear as his old self (or at least what he imagines himself to look like at his current age). Thankfully, most of his facial features and organs are still real flesh, bar his right eye and cheekbone. Trey often prefers to wear comfortable clothes, although just like his skin, they are superficial at best and serve no real purpose other than allowing him to fit in. He can usually be seen wearing a simple coat, shirt and pants along with a plain pair of boots.

Cybernetics: Trey's body has been heavily modified with cybernetics, making him more machine than man. Due to his condition and long history of modifications, Trey has less than half of his original body mass that's still organic. And even then, it's mostly his internal organs and bone structures that remain, most of the skin and muscles have been replaced. The material on top may give him the appearance of looking human, however it is really just synthetic skin Trey uses in order to look more human. The right side of his body, where the disease began to spread, is nearly 100% mechanical. The cybernetic body is powered by a combination of a miniature reactor that replaced Trey's heart and his semblance. Trey uses his body not only as a permanent life-support system but also as a weapon, taking advantage of enhanced qualities such as speed, strength and durability. His right arm in particular is his favored melee weapon, as it is completely cybernetic and can be easily repaired if damaged. Trey's body is capable of going into an "over-drive" state when used in conjunction with his semblance, which increases his speed and strength by a bit for a period of time. However, this move damages his body internally after several uses and Trey must repair it after usage.



Coil Gun: Trey carries a large revolver capable of firing normal or dust rounds. When not in use, it is disassembled and kept in his right forearm. Due to the caliber of this weapon and the recoil, Trey has to "lock down" his body and stop moving before firing. It boasts an impressive range and penetration, however it can only hold 6 rounds.

Semblance:
Heat: Trey's semblance allows him to heat up his body greatly, hot enough set combustible materials that touch his body on fire. Naturally while using his semblance, Trey is immune to any damages from high temperatures. However, his semblance only works with his organic body, meaning it is practically useless at this point outside of powering his body. Trey most often uses it to turn his body into the "over-drive" mode, but he finds his semblance to be a double-edged sword. Even though his cybernetic body is designed to be resistant to heat, it isn't immune. And if Trey acts carelessly, he is capable of melting down vulnerable parts of the cybernetics.

Personality:
Trey is laid back and relaxed, who likes to enjoy the "little things" in life. He hates structured lifestyle and schedules, preferring to live life freely. Therefore, Trey does have problems with those who attempt to exercise power over him, such as authorities, although he does understand their purpose. Unusually for a Huntsman, Trey holds no more hatred than "normal" towards Grimms, although he likes to think that he is living whatever is left in his life as meaningfully as possible. He does find meaning in helping others feel safe and live comfortable lives.
Trey attempts to enjoy everything he can while he is still "human". Thankfully, some of his internal organs and most of his facial structures are still flesh, meaning he can still enjoy acts such as eating, drinking, etc. He often goes out of his way to find delicious food or try new things. As well as doing anything he still considers "human" such as listening to music, cooking and reading paper books. But most of all, he greatly appreciates connections to other people, especially his teammates. Those he considers his friends, Trey will treat them with utmost kindness and respect. Of course, that doesn't mean he'll try to be normal by saying sarcastic jokes or teasing them.

Background:
Ironically, Trey's life as a Huntsman began with the announcement of his death. Contracting a rare, incurable disease called "Chronic Necrosis" (disease known to slowly rot away the patient's body starting from the extremities such as fingertips), Trey's fate was sealed. Trey's parents, prestigious and wealthy beings, attempted to find solutions to their son's illness to no avail. However, a small ray of hope came across them; while the disease could not be cured, it could be slowed if the decaying body parts were to be replaced by cybernetics. Since the disease worked itself from the tip of the body towards the head, theoretically, Trey will be able to survive for as long as he kept replacing his flesh with mechanicals. Although not a complete solution to the tragedy at hand, Trey's parents readily accepted this, if it meant that their son would live more years. Thus Trey began to walk the path of a man who would become more machine than human. Backed by top medical and engineering bought with the family wealth, it began with his right fingers. Then his hand... then arm... on and on.
By the time Trey understood and accepted in his heart what was happening, he began seeing the horror in his parents eyes. But he could not blame them, who could? Seeing their beloved son being turned more and more into a cold steel slab every passing year would be enough to drive any parents towards insanity. Thus Trey decided... to leave home, to become a Huntsman. He knew he wouldn't find meaning in life by doing nothing but prolonging his short existence. Although disapproving, his parents accepted his decision, knowing that being together would only bring them all more pain and suffering. They thought it would be for the best if Trey would walk the path of his choice. Thanking his parents for their understanding, Trey left to become a student at Beacon.

Likes: Food, tea, tinkering with mechanical stuff, reading/watching anything, sleeping, teammates and friends from school, feeling human

Dislikes: Bugs (both insects and mechanical bugs in his body), coffee, getting attention, training (although he does like training with his teammates), being compared to robots

Strengths:
Trey is capable of surviving without normal necessities such as food, water and air for longer periods than most people. Additionally, unlike most living bodies that require time to heal (and even then, may not completely - such as dismembered limbs) Trey's body just requires repairs and replacements, making him very durable by most standards. By carrying several key spare parts with him, Trey is more than capable of waging battles of attrition and going on prolonged missions. Additionally, Trey's body is always capable of being upgraded or modified in order to fit the mission at hand, allowing him to have flexibility in his abilities.

Weaknesses:
Trey's body is his most powerful weapon but also his greatest weakness. Materials such as water is capable of short-circuiting his body if applied in large amounts in the wrong places. Similarly, any anti-cybernetic weaponry such as EMP bursts will disable his body. Without his body functioning properly, Trey will most definitely die, as it serves as a life-support system to what little biological components he has left. Otherwise, Trey is not particularly lacking in any specific areas although he does complain about how he can't use his revolver while moving.
Trey does suffer from thanatophobia (fear of death) and following anxiety. Ever since he heard about his condition and the impending doom that awaits him, his ideals of living like others have been shattered, which remains forever in him as a trauma. Even though he has accepted the fact that he will never live a long life and must cope with his mechanical body, he still feels much fear and depression about his fate.
Lastly, Trey can only improve in skill so much. He is not capable of getting stronger and faster by training like most other Huntsmen or Huntresses. Although he does compensate by upgrading his parts, his limits are very clear.

Background:
Ginto was raised on Vale but outside its kingdom. She lived happily in a village consisting of Hunter families who preferred to be outside of the walls of Vale, being one with nature (and, in her later years, realizing how expensive living within the Kingdoms were). She had friends and, generally, had fun being a child with simple dreams. Unfortunately, tragedy struck.

It all happened in a perfectly mundane day. Ginto went to her classes, talked with her friends at school, played with the other children, ate lunch in the cafeteria, went back to classes again, then went home to get dinner and some homework done. Yet, when night fell, a hoard of Grimm attacked without warning, taking the whole village in surprise.

Ginto woke up at the sight of her mother in full Huntress gear, dagger-spear strapped on her belt. Her mother made her wear a small backpack before ushering her downstairs and past the door to see the chaos outside: fire raged everywhere. Her father was keeping off Grimm in their property. People ran. There was still organization behind it all, the cluster of people defended at all sides by professional Hunters.

They joined that group, managing to avoid any more casualties beyond those lost in the first wave of attack. They all thought that everything was fine, that they escaped that disaster, but they thought wrong. While retreating to safety, a large pack of Beowolves led by an Alpha blindsided them with their ambush. Her mother engaged the pack without hesitation, while her father followed to assist.

Ginto was left behind, torn between staying with her parents and running away with the group. The decision was made for her when one of her neighbors dragged her away, hauling her on his shoulder as they ran. The last memory she has of her parents were their backs, where they were slowly swallowed up by the unrelenting Grimm.

She didn’t remember much of what happened after. In fact, when she came to, she was safe within the walls of Vale and enrolled a year early in Signal Academy. While hatred and loathing fuelled her to be the best that she could in the Academy, Ginto made a promise to herself. She would never let herself feel so useless ever again. She would not leave behind those that she cares for. And she would not let herself get left behind.
