C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T:
My Sam Wilson Captain America was never known as the Falcon. Joining S.H.I.E.L.D after serving in the USAF, utilizing a prototype flight system, he was one of their more publically known agents with many possible names being thrown around by various media outlets. None of them sticking however. With the rise of Hydra and super powered threats S.H.I.E.L.D felt the need to motivate the people, and as such pulled the shield out of storage and rebranded Sam Wilson as Captain America. In this timeline I plan for S.H.I.E.L.D to be a very public international agency, while ARGUS acts behind the scenes making Captain America a very public icon, though there's going to be some tension when he works internationally due to the name, resulting in there being a 'corps' off such meaning I want to incorproate Captain Britain, Red Guardian and all the other offshoots of the original Cap.

I also want to play a story where Sam loses the shield when the original Captain America is found and have fun that way. While he is a skilled combatant, with amazing natural reflexes and skills that few else have in terms of his suit it has a exoskeleton incorporated into the design to increase Sams strength slighly. Nothing too amazing, just enough to give him a slight edge against regular opponents.

A R C S:
Americas Number One Hero: Captain America is Americas number one hero, and has to work with others across the glove to ensure peace and security, against the likes of Hydra who is responsible for the death of the Captain before Sam.

Though what happens when Steve Rogers returns?

C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T:
The goal with this character is to write a competent Kite Man, one who balances the nutty motif of his character with real skills and abilities. He's a former Air Force pilot with a background in special forces. He's a flying ace who held many of the records someone like Hal Jordan would have crushed, with an origin in Gotham. Chuck Brown had a wife and son, Chuck Brown Jr. Back home. His tragedy comes from his way home from deployment some years ago to find his wife and son among the dead in the latest battle between The Crown Prince Of Crime and The Dark Knight. Chuck loses his mind and becomes Kite Man, citing something his son said the last day they spent together before he was deployed again.
"Kite Man, Hell Yeah."

Kite man is the product of the madness in Gotham. He's a tragedy, one of the victims who's stories we never truly get to hear. A truly broken man who put his life on the line to protect strangers, yet was completely incapable of protecting what matters the most to him. He's a smalltime criminal at times, and at others he's something of an Anti-Villain. Absolute Kite Man attempts to remedy Kite Man's status as a joke by tapping into what he is, but adding to it. He'll never be the front runner, he won't hold the world hostage, nor will he save the day and get the girl.

He's a man who walks the line between hero and villain, not because his morales are messed up, but because frankly, he's lost his mind.

Chapter 1; Marbles, lost.

Kite man's planning a heist in Gotham. His first big outing as a criminal, his newly pieced together outfit of a ski-mask and a spandex bodysuit, he's going to hold up a jewelry store and how he will handle both the crowd control and the police.

N O T E S:
An excellent pilot, capable of flying just about anything that can take to the skies, and some things that can't. He's no criminal mastermind and he's certainly no master at arms or martial arts. He's no punisher, but a man who's got nothing to lose after being dealt a really bad hand.

What would be the consensus that the BPRD has been taken as a subsidiary of SHIELD? Is there anyone that is specifically playing anything directly with SHIELD?

Would be useful to know the answer to both of these questions as I'm hoping to have Dani seek out SHIELD as her first 'fuck i need to contain Ghost Rider' port of call, and I'm sure BPRD and Hellboy might be interested in her as well.

I mean normally SHIELD does have a subsidiary for supernatural anomalies. You could safely merge the BPRD with them, I imagine. That or you can keep BPRD independent. We'll have to see what the other two GMs think, though.

Not everything needs to be merged with SHIELD. I think it's better the BRPD remains independent of the former organization.

As for direct relations to SHIELD, the GMs have events planned that relate to them, and ARGUS. We will be reaching out to both of the SHIELD-connected players thus far to discuss some things before too long.

@Retired the reason I asked was because I had a story idea that involved SHIELD taking in the BPRD as a subsidary and placing Agent Manning in the stead of Professor Broom after his death which would cause Hellboy to leave the orginization, but I forgot to take in consideration of what the GM's had planned. It wasn't a major point but just something that I thought would be pretty neat, I can leave it be for the moment though.

C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T

With Nightwing, I will keep his back story largely the same. I will just be playing him older to go along with @BlackSam3091's older Bruce Wayne/Batman. With Dick being older, I would like to explore him beginning to be more like Bruce as time goes on but still retaining his iconic personality. At this point, I would also like to have had Dick step in as Batman in the past, and with both of these occurrences in mind Dick will struggle with keeping his own identity as a hero. I envision this version of Dick leading his own Justice League-esque team made up of the former Teen Titans who were on the team with him in his youth and working with the Justice League and other heroes during times of crises.

@Ink Blood You don't have to make Dick older just to match my Bruce. Robin could have joined Batman later than usual. Of course if an older Dick suits your vision of the character, that's fine with me.

I do find it curious how the other founders of the [Teen] Titans are 24-27 and Dick himself is 34. I believe Green Grenade estimated with us that was around 2007 when the first Titans lineup was formed; so Dick would've been by your estimates in his twenties.

Also, how are we on @Sloth and his application for Dick Grayson, he told us only a few days ago he was working on it? Do we give them a window to post their application to compete? I know we have a sample post review in cases like this typically, but Sloth is currently in Texas dealing with family concerns if I recall correctly.

Because Sloth indicated interest and a plan in the Discord, I will give him 24 hrs from the time the other sheet was posted to provide proof of concept. If in 18 hrs from now he has not posted then Dick Grayson will go to Ink Blood. In the event that Sloth does post a sheet, then both parties will be asked to submit a sample post at which point all accepted players will be asked to vote as to which sample they believe best represents Dick Grayson.
