@ihinka Part of kenku's description says that all of their speech uses their mimicry talent, meaning they need to hear a phrase in use in order to say it. Thus a lot of his speech will be a bit colorful and not exactly relating what happens. I knew she hadn't drawn a blade, but Bobbin was trying to convey the idea of staying one's hand, combining words he heard in a tavern, a woman selling wares in a market, and some other location. Since he has spent relatively little time speaking Common, it might be a bit more broken than normal.
@JBRam2002 I actually meant our halfling dad's view of the situation. If I'm not mistaken he saw Safira as having drawn her weapon and appearing to try and kill Bobbin. True to pretty much anyone she would appear menacing and dangerous. But at least her weapon is sheathed.
I just forget to tag properly when I'm out of it >.<
@ihinka Boram is a pussy, he sees every small action as a threat, Safira could've simply waved hello and he'd think she was trying to kill him, he's not exactly the most reliable narrator
Despite all the characters not quite having been introduced yet, might we be able to continue with our existing interactions? Or would you rather wait until we all are acquainted in turn? I could see a reasonable route either way. Not suggesting to flood the topic with responses, but some back and forth here and there until all finally do arrive.
Hm... wouldn’t Tritons and Aarakocras be a very rare sight in this realm? The only reason Mirdas knows a bit about the Aarakocra is because they both share roles in fighting evil Elementals, as mentioned in their racial lore.
@Cu Chulainn Yes, they would be unknown to most people. I would say adventurers and scholars in history or arcana would be the ones who would have heard of them.
