So, another small off-site bitch but

First time I have ever had someone moan at me for changing my profile pic cause I was bored of the other one

Because it apparently "confused her cause she doesn't read usernames but goes on profile pictures" so therefore I'm not entitled to change it apparently XD

SHOCK HORROR

Back on my EA-UK forum days I had the same avatar for about 3 years. A little 80x80 (cause that was the Max size) pic of Amaterasu from Okami with "Nutter" on the side.

Guild... And I change my avatar every few weeks.

I change my avatar whenever I make a new one that I like. Which is... decently often.

How online squabbles tend to go, or whenever I roleplay battle against my roommate. (My roommate was never very good at roleplaying...Sorry. ^3^')

I've had a bad habit picking unfortunate usernames online, that get witted at by every absolute cretin on the face of the earth. Honestly when going through my usernames. SleepingSilence is the most innocuous, but probably the most boring. I don't have any personal story or connection with the username. It's not something I just made up for this site, but might as well be.

I was also considering changing the random icon, to be art I commissioned, so I can stop stealing images like a lazy hack that can't just open up photoshop. (I mean I guess, I did -barely- alter the picture...) But I don't need people going through identity crisis, or showing off that I'm the type of nerd that commissions art. <.<

...Oh, it's too late for that now isn't it?

My Avatars are generally Google images.
I cannot be bothered with making full avatars on photoshop regardless of knowing how to.

Can recommend GIMP. Not the best at image making, but it works well enough for me to make images transparent or add borders and stuff.

You can download old Photoshop CS2 from Adobe themselves. They released some universal keys for it so you don't need to pay for it. For making avatars and signature images it's totally fine as half the time you only need the crop tool, some brushes, and a few filters. Anyone that says you need the latest kit for hobby stuff like that doesn't know what they are talking about.

The only people who need that gear are professional artists, or graphic designers, and if Google images is the way you collect your resources for a piece of art... then you're not a proper artist.

I when people complain about a lack of posts but when you finally get around to posting it takes them up to three, or more days to reply themselves to the point where the rp might just die out. Whats the point in complaining if you're not going to follow up on what you're complaining about?

Also if you guys don't mind me complaining about real life stuff but I feel like I really need to

paint.net is what I use -- has a lot of the functionality of photoshop, also is free.

I understand that. I'm much less knowledgeable than I should be in that field, especially since I've been in graphic design classes. ^-^'

Though I have enough stuff that's been previously made, or recently bought for other projects. That I also likely won't use. <.<

@Sirkaithethird

I pride myself on making good characters but damn lol. If a personality section has a on paragraph minimum, then 90% of the bullshit I write to fill space will be outright wrong ten posts in, and not by character development either.

It's a peeve of mine that I'm expected to be able to put my character's personality into words before I even play them. Even if I have a good idea of their personality and character progression arc before I start (which is rare, which is why I can't advanced rp), I struggle to put it into words.

What I've done to get around that is rather than write the personality you believe they should have, write how they may first appear to someone who meets them for the first time. I tend to find that helps a bit when writing personalities.

That said, most of my characters do change and personalities is that section I think is placed in so the GM can see your writing quality.

So so yes.

I try to let Mt charecter evolve somewhat to fit how things turn out to be and start abit more flexible to work out what things need to become based on plots and balence.

You cannot just define everything on the CS as everything naturally evolves to some degree.

People who complain a RP is dead despite not being one of the remaining few active posters. The player base may not have been as big as it once was, but people are still posting somewhat frequently. Bonus points if it happens to be the GM complaining about it.
