@KoLyou can achieve fusion of deuterium with relatively little power with a fusor. Neutrons taking away most of the energy in the form of heat is the main problem.

@KoLWith the modern media/social media, even with a legitimate super hero sighting I think "Is Robert Downy Jr. Gay?" would still make the headlines.

1. I also do not agree with the idea of RPing with yourself; it defeats the purpose of the whole thing. You shouldn't have to be reactive in that regard; actively moving to make contact with people is ideal.
2. A government bounty is a bad idea, because that gets people needlessly hurt. He wouldn't be able to get fast cash that way, especially if a Google search nets you the info (you'd think they woulda tried that already).
3. Radio Shack is out of business, more or less. There are alternatives, but that's an aside.
4. Panasonic is a Japanese company based in Osaka. You can't just license it like that off the US branch, and even then there are a LOT of issues just in regard to accepting that offer in the first place. Even disregarding the fact that he's in the suit, Stark has no credentials and there are a lot of questions and R&D that people would ask/do before anything gets approved.

I'm more confused at that line of thought tho. Multiple videos and pictures would be all over the net in an instant, and it wouldn't take long for that news to spread like wildfire. Also given the fact that you're in NYC, where Marvel/DC is super popular AND that we've had cases of characters being recognized on-sight, and well... You get the idea. Not even papparazi, too; the fact that Iron Man is basically a household name means he's a celebrity wherever he decides to head. ESPECIALLY if the auit is flying and people know which way he was flying off in.

Honestly need higher level equipment to build in the first place isn't just going to take a month or two. Not only that, but assuming you'll be flying solo this whole time and that nothing will happen are bad mindsets to take into this, and you're puppetting a lot of NPCs that I haven't given the OK for quite yet (most other minor cases I've handwaved 'til now, but anything major I'll likely say as much or imply it). Theoreticals can only get you so far.

I wasn't expecting him to reproduce everything within days, and know that he would have to reproduce most of the tech (he would explain it as civilian tech being 20 years behind his universe and the highest tech being a century behind.) this RP will last for days or weeks at most, in game, but that is his long term plan. Of course, every thing could easily change, and will to some degree, now that he has met another PC. The NPCs were just an idea I had to give him a mission and raise money. You can control them or give him a different scenario to work with (any thing that will raise enough money to make maintenance/fuel viable, so tens if thousands or a steady job).

I just know that now that Stark nor Tyr would sit around when they have no money and no possibility of returning home.

Something just occurred to me. Stark just did something that is impossible for modern tech, and will be extremely famous for it. Wouldn't tech companies be making him offers for his tech? He wouldn't need credentials to sell tech to IBM, or code to Microsoft, he should just have to show up in his Super Suit, thereby proving that the tech works and currently exists in a form that can be used.

As for the whole suit thing... Yes and no?
While the suit is functional, it is a) not reproducible and b) people still don't know the safety of the stuff he gives. He could probably make easy bank just by coding, though, so we could just scrap that subplot and not have people freak about new tech.

(Also don't forget that the suit is a weapon system, and honestly with his reputation and mind all he needs to do is put a few programs of some sort out on the market.)

@PKMNB0Y2) why wouldn't the police pay for "Information leading to his arrest" when you literally hand them records of people using his port to smuggle things, or bribes to politicians, or drug trades, or any other crime that he may have a record of. Also, the fact that they are offering the money for information has to be public, otherwise, there isn't a reason to offer it. Offering reward for info is quite common. Now, whether they are willing to accept stolen info is a different matter, seeing as how that makes it questionable whether it's admissible in court.
3) He's literally just buying a Cat5 cable to connect his laptop to a hotel's ethernet. It's tech that's available everywhere. The parts he'll need to work on his suit will generally be bought on Amazon or from a tech website, generally in bulk, once he has the money (though with no ID, he will have to use prepaid Visa cards, not a credit/debit card).

But yeah, I'll just have him have Jarvis offer code to microsoft/google/etc after testing it on the laptop to make sure it works with "this outdated tech". It's easy to test instantly, and could earn them money pretty quickly. I don't know enough C# to write convincing code anyway. ;-p

here's a couple of wacky ideas for raising money:

1) Tony Stark and Jarvis sell autographed pictures of themselves to the fans that are swarming everywhere. Tyr provides security against the super fans.
2) While Tony and Jarvis work a programming job or their own video game (steam or mobile game on Google play) and when they aren't doing fun RP stuff, (so during time skips),they convince try to convince Tyr to model. Unlikely to work, but....

Well, that joke won't work. When someone told him to go to the national Diet building I was going to have Inuyasha mention that Kagome went on a "diet" after she had the baby, and that it was weird that the government would have an entire building devoted to losing weight (not knowing that it is actually illegal to be fat in japan). But, the Japanese name for the building doesn't sound like "diet", and they would both be speaking Japanese, so I can't even blame the magical translation that's going on.
