Appearance:
Backstory: Sheena is not who she seems. In fact, there was once a time when "she" was actually a "he" by the name of Alan Parker, living a simple life on a world far removed from the disputes and quarrels of celestial beings and lacking in supernatural forces. Although raised as a human, they lacked a father figure, said father leaving them when they were only a child, an event they have never quite come to terms with. However, their life took a turn when one day they found a mysterious shade-like creature in an alleyway. Alan took the creature home and nursed it back to health where the two formed something of a friendship.
However, when mysterious men showed up trying to claim ownership of the creature, Alan refused and was fatally wounded by one of them when they turned their arm into a giant claw. To save his life, the creature he had befriended and named Shade forged a pact to loan him the power to defeat these individuals, the powers of the Void allowing Alan to transform into a Magical Girl/Witch. From there, the pair had many adventures, using their power to hop from one dimension to the next and helping people wherever they went and regardless of who or what they were.
Of course, one does not jump between dimensions willy-nilly and not attract some manner of attention...or avoid stepping on the wrong set of feet. At one point, the witch ended up in the Void, which had been converted into a battleground over the souls lost there. Sheena gathered the power of the Void and banished all the invaders from the void. As the souls within finally found rest, the witch was soon approached by a lady known as Ciel, a being who served as a "guardian" of sorts of the Void Between Worlds....and the force lied within its heart.
Ciel informed Sheena of the existence of the Nexus and even offered the witch the chance to work with her in the role of a Caretaker which she accepted. Now, Sheena has been assigned to work alongside the forces of Heaven to help repel the demons...but what most people don't know is the Witch has a second, even more important mission: To bring a warning to the Nexus of the great threat that is on the horizon....
Powers:
Superhuman Physiology: Sheena's physical self, despite its appearance, is actually leagues above the ordinary human and edges into the realm of the supernatural. Her physical strength is enough to rip a normal human in half, kick reinforced steel doors off their hinges, and even tear a light pole out of the ground and wield it like a baseball bat or throw it like a javelin. She has even been known to catch a low-level demon's punch and break their wrist with a simple twist. Her heightened agility allows her to duck, swerve, deflect, climb, and maneuver in such a way it leaves even expert parkourist in the dust and can run fast enough to keep pace with a moving vehicle at full speed.
Also, her durability is nothing to scoff at as she's been shown to survive multi-story falls, and land, without a scratch, be riddled with gunfire and explosives and shrug it off more or less, and even withstand beatdowns from other super-powered entities and being smacked through buildings with only minor cuts and bruises.
Dimensional Travel: Sheena is one of the few beings who can actively travel to any part of the Nexus they desire, usually done through opening a rift in time and space with a swipe of her scythe. She can maintain these rifts for an indefinite period of time and can use them to survey areas from a safe distance.
Void Manipulation: The most powerful ability Sheena has access to. Drawing upon the power of the Void allows a range of uses only limited by Sheena's will and imagination.
-Void Summons: Sheena tears open a rift in reality and allows the specters of the Void to pour forth, be they small dog-sized critters that swarm the enemy but lack durability and individual strength, humanoid figures and that have about-average attributes, and up to mighty beasts which can take on small armies by themselves or destroy large barricades.
-Shapeshifting: Sheena calls upon the power of the Void in the form of a dark mass that consumes her form before taking on an egg-like shape that then shatters to reveal a new form for Sheena shaped by their will. They can also attach pieces of the Void to themselves to use as weapons too, namely her partner Shade who takes on various forms like a barrage of tendrils or blades or even a pair of giant fists. She can even absorb her forces into the egg structure which allows for a much larger, more powerful form at the price of no longer being able to use summons for its duration.
She can even fly by attaching Shade to her back and letting it become a pair of wings.
One of the more unique uses is fusing Shade with her hair so she can use it as a weapon by causing it to grow to insane lengths and form a range of shapes and weapons. In this state, her hair is as strong and durable as she is.
-Nothingness Inducement: By touching some form of matter or landing an attack of some kind, Sheena can use the Void to "erase" a concept from existence. Such an ability has many applications, such as erasing the friction from the ground to make it slippery, erasing injuries (thus healing people) erasing sound to make an area silent, erasing the space between her own molecules to increase her density, doing the same to a body of water to turn it to ice, and so on.
HOWEVER, this ability can never become powerful enough to truly erase something or someone from existence.
Resistances & Immunities:
Resistance To Demon Corruption: Whether it's a result of their exposure to the Void or being aligned with the forces of Heaven, Sheena seems to have a remarkably high level of resistance to corruptions, taints,or forms of temptation from most demons. It would take a high-class demon with a great deal of effort on their part to even briefly sway her from her path.
Resistance To Dimensional Attacks: Sheena also has a high resistance to attacks that can pierce through dimensions or attacks that would normally inflict fatal damage instantly, such as if someone tried to slice her up with a portal, she can negate it or at the very least deflect it while only suffering minor damage.
Immunity To Aging And Most Earthly Diseases And Ailments.
Weaknesses:
Machina Warmachines: As powerful as Sheena maybe, even she can falter when under a constant barrage from the Machina and their terrible power, especially since it seems their attacks are capable of doing extra damage to both her summons and herself. The Machina also have anti-portal technology so all the more reason to be cautious around them.
Extreme Cold: Sheena's powers don't seem to work as effectively in extremely cold environments, to the point where her summons are not only more limited in numbers and strength, but both them and herself are more vulnerable to attacks of a cold variety.
Skills: Cooking- Back when she was human, Sheena was actually a fairly decent cook whom did baking for many events at her school. She has even been known to take things that people normally don't like and make them eatable which should serve as a sign of her skill.
Crafting: Has been known to take simple items and make special trinkets out of them, such as piggy banks using empty soda bottles and construction paper, little sleighs with leftover popsicle sticks, among other things.
Music: Although not a composer by any means, Sheena also has good skills with various musical instruments though she seems to favor playing the violin or the piano and tends to stress to people how important it is to favor both music that makes you happy and the kind that makes you sad.
Weapons & Equipment:
Dimension Scythe: Sheena's trademark weapon. A large black and violet scythe with runic lines running along it and a raven's wing attached to the end. The blade is incredibly sharp, able to cut through both solid steel and even the flesh of otherworldly foes with minimal effort. It is bonded to Sheena and thus nobody can take it, and those who try end up with severely burned hands. It also is her main means of transport between the realms, cutting open a rift in time and space for her to use.
Witch's Dress: Attire formed from the Void itself. It is extremely elegant yet durable, further augmenting Sheena's already impressive durability and able to repair itself when outside of combat.
Void Pouch: A gift from the denizens of the Void. This pouch may look small but it has an infinite storage space within it, allowing Sheena to store her scythe, supplies, and anything else she may need. The pouch will always return to her when lost and like her scythe, allows no one but the owner to open it, meaning your goods are safe with her.
Other: -Sheena does not believe in traditional terms of good and evil being strictly limited to light or dark. This means they are likely to show mercy to opponents who are unable to continue a fight, regardless of their alignment.
-Although not many people know this, Sheena back when she was a male human sometimes felt uncomfortable as a male, partly because his male form greatly resembled the father who abandoned him when he was a child. As such, she finds her new self much more liberating.
