@Nallore@FantasyChic@BlueSky44@Peridot
December 28th, 2016 - 9:41 P.M. EST - 0 Days Since Hel Returned

In an effort to move things along, we're going to be moving some of you over to "case" style posting. If you've been in one of Lady A's RPs, you are doubtless familiar with this. Counters are reset for each group on a case at the time of the GM's update. You are given information and an end goal. You work in a group on a collab (or individually, if it's a solo case), PMing the GM for rolls as you need them. Not everyone will be assigned to a case this round - cases are listed below...

If you're on a case, make sure to send me a PM with the collabs. I am not starting the collabs - that's on you guys.

Case Name: When In Doubt, Go to the Library!
Members: Folly, Fairfax, Seraphina, Thalia, Lilith
Length: 7 Days (Roll requests stop on day 6)
Recruiting: Why the hell not?
Goal: Find whatever information is to be had in the library and come up with a plan

Case Name: Angel With a Shotgun
Members: Jessica
Length: 7 Days (Roll requests stop on day 6)
Recruiting: Probably best if you don't...O.O
Goal: Get the hell out of dodge

Fergus

Location: O.M.E.N. Panic Room - O.M.E.N Headquarters - Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Bronwyn Calliban @FantasyChic, Alec Fletcher @Peridot

The O.M.E.N. agents stared at Alec for a moment, their plane still somewhere in the air over Wisconsin. They were expressionless and from their earlier actions, it didn't seem like their intentions were friendly. But then, the female agent cracked a smile and chuckled, the others following suit. "We learned a lot of things at Ghost School," the agent replied. "What did they teach you at the academy, though? Arts and crafts?"

"You know, I did hear that the FBI mandates the use of safety scissors..." one of the other agents chimed in. The mood had lightened considerably until the video conference connection initiated. Everyone at the O.M.E.N. facility in the meeting at Washington D.C. could see and hear Alec. He could see and hear them as well. The video call began just in time for Alec to hear Bronwyn share her information about Hel - but what did this have to do with Agent Murphy?

Back in D.C., Irwin nodded after Bronwyn said her piece. Yet rather than everyone else in the room accepting what she had said, Agent Shasta Zacharia of MI13 rose to her feet. "Miss Calliban, what do you propose we do?" Agent Zacharia asked. There was no malice, snark, or disrespect in her voice. It was one thing to be told information about a foe, but they needed more than that - they needed a strategy.

"Aren't you lot just going to fire a nuke at her and call it a day?" Fergus groaned. He was getting a bit bored with all of the formality. He preferred to get his hands dirty and his information to be given as fast as possible. All of the bureaucratic etiquette was cramping his style. He then gave a cheerful wave to Alec through one of the monitors, as if they had been life long friends.

"Charming as ever, Fergus," Agent Zacharia said lightly.

"I think ridiculous is the more appropriate choice of words." On one of the many monitors in the room - and for Alec, on the bottom corner of his screen - was MI13 Agent Jade Cornish. She was bloodied and bruised, standing outside what appeared to be a train station. It wasn't normal for O.M.E.N. to request help from outside agencies - let alone the Brits. Whatever was going on, they were scared shitless.

Robin Ramírez & Aloise Zamora

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Mariana Garcia @Nallore

Aloise managed to hold her poker face well as she considered Mariana's request. She honestly wasn't the type to betray or defect - her stunt earlier that day had been a surprise to most, herself included. But it was true - Hel had killed needlessly. Yet she was a needed poison to get rid of a far greater threat, one that slaughtered without any remorse or consideration on a far larger scale. If this was the price to save the world, then her morals could be compromised slightly.

"Agreed," Aloise said simply. "And I think I know how to kill her...Her sword. She never lets it out of her sight. Always has it on her. Might be like an angel blade - their main weapon and the only thing that can kill them," Aloise suggested.

"So we just need to steal the sword of a Norse goddess...Great," Robin replied. The mission set out in front of them seemed to be a series of impossible tasks - but they'd be worth it in the end. However, she wasn't certain that three people could accomplish this on their own. There were a lot of variables, a lot of dangerous acts. It was very likely they wouldn't all make it out.

If she had to let Aloise die so that way Mariana could live, Robin already decided she'd make that call without hesitation.

"She's expecting us in the morning," Aloise then added. "She said she had business in D.C. tonight...Told me to go recruit for the cause."

Mariana Garcia

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Robin Ramirez & Aloise Zamora@Morose

Mariana was glad to hear that Aloise was on the same page with them, she wasn't going to blindly jump in bed with the Goddess of Death without a plan. Though she wasn't sure how Hel would react to her and her cousin when they finally meet the woman, she leaned forward when Aloise mentioned that there was a way to kill her. Which was pretty much the same way to kill an angel, with their own weapon which was going to be harder said then done. Mariana closed her eyes for a moment letting out a slight sigh as she looked towards Robin, before turning her attention back towards the woman.

"Eh, I've done tougher hunts just need a way to snatch the sword off of her." Mariana said listening to Aloise when she mentioned that Hel was headed to DC for 'business' which didn't sound good in her mind, and that they would have to meet her in the morning. "Where are we headed then?" Mariana asked, as she got up and headed over towards the bedside table to pull out her car keys.

Bronwyn Calliban

Location: Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Those at OMEN Headquarters

Bronwyn figured she said her peace, but she wasn't expecting questions. It took her by surprise. She stepped up to the podium again, having side stepped away. "With all due respect, I believe that qualifies as your job. That's why we are all here, right? I don't mind getting my hands dirty in any way to help, but apart from the knowledge I just shared, I have no clue what to do next. If anything, we should find out where she is at this moment."

How anyone could figure that out was beyond her, but she would put up her best effort. She hoped no one else would ask her questions. She wanted to do something, not stand around talking about it. She couldn't help but appreciate Fergus' comments. Action spoke louder than words ever did.

When In Doubt, Go to the Library!

As Seraphina slowly searched around the aisle of book shelves that she was looking up and down under, she drapped the Kumatock cloak over her shoulder, she was surprised that the kumatock had been fairly quiet since leaving the circus. She paused for a moment before kneeling down at the bottom shelf seeing a book that looked rather interesting and then slowly started to pull it out.

It was the Poetic Edda, she slowly opened it up and started looking through the pages finding anything that mentioned Hel. Which it looked like there was closing it up Seraphina started to make her way over towards the closest table and started to open up the book, looking over towards the others. "I may have found something useful for you all." Seraphina called out to the others that were there in the library.

Lilith walked over to the woman and took a look at the book. It seemed supernatural, but she didn't understand anything about it. It worked for her though. Maybe Folly or Fairfax had a better idea because, as it stood, she had no clue what to do with any of this information. She felt useless even though she knew if she hadn't gotten what information she had, they would be stuck looking somewhere else.

Thalia was looking through the books, she heard Seraphina call out about the new book. She started to head over to look, when her head started to hurt. It was almost as bad as when time went out of whack, so she knew this involved time or something. A figure appeared in front of her, a girl. No one else seemed to see her, and once again it was something that only she could see or whatever.

She had never seen this girl before in her life, but apparently the girl knew who she was. Her name, something about Pathfind or something, but she was cut off, disappearing almost as quickly as she had appeared. She told her that she needed to do something, but she hadn't gotten the chance to finish it. "What was that?" she said, before brushing it off as another hallucination. She really need to see a shrink when this was all over. "What did you find?" she asked as she reached where Seraphina was with the book.

Fairfax moved quickly over to the others, abandoning his own search. His eyes lit up slightly as he recognized the title. Although he wasn't familiar with that exact translation, he knew what the Poetic Edda was -- it was about the best known collection of Norse mythology in existence. "That's a remarkable find," Fairfax praised, seemingly putting aside his anger and frustration with Seraphina for the moment. "I wonder, Seraphina, did you happen to find the companion to that book as well? The Prose Edda?"

Folly, meanwhile, had remained where she was. She was seemingly transfixed as she stared at a shelf filled with books in various states of tatter and wear. Her eyes had a distant quality to them, as if she had become isolated from the entire world. She reached her hand out slowly, touching the spine of the books, yet even her sense of touch appeared to have been dulled. Her hand was drenched in blood and her lips trembled, before widening into a smile.

She jolted back to reality as her hand brushed the books on the shelves, the blood vanishing and leaving her trembling. Her eyes were wide with terror and horror. "So this is how the madness starts..." Folly whispered to herself.

Seraphina looked towards Fairfax for a moment as well as the others as they started to come over to see what she had found, she wasn't fully familiar with the book itself but Fairfax seemed to know it instantly. Putting aside their differences for now, they still needed to make it back to their own time at some point. "I haven't yet, but i'll look for the sister book for it. It seems that you know what it is i'll try and look for it's sister book." Seraphina said as she turned off and headed towards the aisle that she found The Poetic Edda.

A few seconds of searching she was surprised to find the Prose Edda there, however she couldn't read Norse herself but she could tell it was the second in the set. She came back a few seconds later as she gently laid the book down on the table next to its sister book looking towards Fairfax. "Anything about Hel in either of these, any hint we can destroy her?" Seraphina asked.

Lilith walked over to check out the book, but she had no clue how to read it to find out any information. "I have no clue. If I can be of any help finding things, let me know, otherwise I'm going to let the experts handle this." She glanced over at Folly, who seemed to be in another world. She was worried about her, but they needed to get this sorted out first. They were all in danger at the moment, other troubles would have to wait.

Fairfax shook his head. While he had some familiarity with these books, he didn't speak any variation of Old Norse. "I'm not sure that I could be called an expert, exactly..." Fairfax admitted. The book could have been in Greek and he wouldn't have known the difference. He scratched his chin, thinking for a moment. "Say, Amiyra has mentioned this invention you all have...The...Internet? Do you think it might be able to offer a translation?" Fairfax asked earnestly.

Thalia could understand someone not knowing what to look for, her mind had automatically gone to the mythology section, because that made sense. She was about to say something, when her back started hurting, and she fell to her knees and let out a scream. She felt a heavy weight on her back and shoulders as the pain continued. There wasn't anything she could think of to make it stop, but it wasn't until she heard books falling onto the floor than she looked to see what was there.

On her back, there was a pair of leathery wings, silver in color, and they reminded her of dragon wings from a fantasy story. She started freaking out, and the wings seemed to respond to it, extending themselves and knocking more books off of the shelves. Her mind started racing, thinking back to the circus tent, right before the time jumping and right when all hell started to break loose. That man, Faust, he had called her something else, what was it? She couldn't remember what he had called her, but he had told her that she wasn't human or something. She was panicking, and her back was still hurting, a lot. "What the hell is going on," she managed to say, between winces of pain.

Fairfax jumped back, just narrowly missing getting swiped by Thalia's new pair of wings. He had never seen anything like it before in his life - but the same could be said for a lot of events that had occurred that day. His heart was pounding with a bit of fear and he tried to consciously calm himself, but it wasn't helping. He was in shock - plain and simple. It wasn't every day that he watched someone sprout a pair of wings.

Folly's vision went dark as she heard Thalia scream, the entire world becoming distant once more. But rather than being trapped in her own mind, she found she could move this time. She took a step forward, noting this feeling of weightlessness that had consumed her. In front of her, there seemed to be whispers - as if she could see the shape of sound in the air. Something tugged at her and she kept on walking, eventually reaching her hand out to grasp it.

"Dai? Kai jas? Kai sannas?" Folly said, speaking fluent angloromani. She closed her hand, only to jolt back to reality once more. Her hands were gripping Lilith's throat as Folly choked her.

Angel With a Shotgun!
Jessica Pearson

Location: Jessica's Apartment - Clearwater, Florida
Interacting With: Sayuki's Daughter

As Jessica continued to drive she listened to Sayuki on the other end rolling her eyes slightly she was certainly a kid, or a very young teenager. "Well i'm cooler then most adults." Jessica said sarcastically as she drove for a little bit longer. Then she noticed the speed dial starting to go down, as well as the speed of her car then the sputtering sound as the engine itself died on her. "No, no, no damnit!" Jessica yelled over the phone as she started to move her car until it died completely on the side of the road, parking up next to the shoulder.

Then she looked over at her rearview mirror, seeing a pack of angels their eyes glowing, all in business suits and what not. Jessica quickly grabbed her bags full of books that she grabbed from her place, as well as her purse and her puppy. "Listen closely, please get Sayuki Chikashi. I'll give you a thousand bucks, or a trip to Disney World or Universal, a cruise even. Whatever you want I don't care i'll make it worth your while if you get him as soon as you can!" Jessica said urgently.

She made sure that she had everything that she needed and started to get out of her car, making her way towards the guardrail on the side of the road noticing the ravine and the forested area. She started to climb up and over it and started to climb down as quickly as she could heading towards the woods.

As Jessica continued to run she looked over her shoulder seeing that she had gotten around ten feet away from the group of angels hunting her. Breathing heavily as she tried her best to try and remain calm before turning back to her phone call with Sayuki's daughter. "And I do mean it, just get him to call me back. I need to go." Jessica said before hanging up for now, if she was going to survive this she was going to try and call him back if she could manage to get away from those that are hunting her. She had stayed as far off the radar as she could, but wasn't sure how they managed to find her.

Jessica stopped for a moment as she listened in on Angel Radio, she was getting a shit load of Reapers now in her head she hadn't heard this many since the events of Altsoba. Which was to her sounded very disturbing, but right now she was more focused on trying to get away from the angels she wasn't sure how far they were behind her. Luckily there wasn't anything in her way so far holding her dog in one arm, while occasionally adjusting her shoulder straps of her backpack of books.

Her eyes started to wonder around, there wasn't a place where she could hide, she could continue to try and run as far as she could but she was still human and would tire out eventually. She closed her eyes for a moment letting out a sigh she'd have to fight them eventually, as Jessica looked around she had her knife on her but she needed another weapon. She looked down at the little puppy, and set him down and watched the guy run off. Then she spotted a wrench, that was on the ground and quickly made a dive for it setting down her backpack on the ground and started to get ready for a fight.

Looking up they were estimated about nine feet away from her as Jessica knelt down taking the knife in her hand once more, she winced slightly cutting into her hand. She started to draw the same sigil she had used at Septima's Animal Hospital, if she could get at least a few of them banished she could maybe handle fighting them, hopefully it will work again, as she waited for them to come at her.

Agent Alec Fletcher

Location: Private Jet en route to DC
Interacting With: Agents; Video Call

It seemed the ice was finally starting to break - after a bumpy start, it seemed the O.M.E.N Agents were loosening up a bit. Either that, or it was all a front, but either way, Alec relaxed a bit himself, even cracking a grin at the other jokes being tossed around. However, after the video conference began, his smile quickly slid away. What they were saying... could it even be true? A Norse Goddess? Of the Underworld, no less, here to wreak havoc on their Earth? As a druid said her piece on screen (Druids? They were a thing as well? Alec really needed to brush up on his mythos knowledge.), Alec considered the possibilities. Was this worse than Lucifer, or Altsoba? How many allies did she have? How many foes did she have that were just as old and powerful, and would they help out the poor mortals stuck in the fight?

Leaning forward in his chair as Fergus spoke, Alec pointed at his suggestion.

"Y'know, I like his idea." He began, eyes darting to the newest - and battered - MI13 Agent who had just spoken. "But maybe not a nuke. I'm no expert in the supernatural, but surely you've got people who study mythology and magic? There must be some weaknesses mentioned somewhere in history, regardless of whether she's a God or not." It was a simple suggestion, but he honestly couldn't think of a better one. He was way out of depth here, and these people expected some help from him.

"Agent Murphy was on the tail of somethin' before he went silent. He's presumed dead, and was chasing down a scientist by the name of Edwina Fairfax... not sure if that means anything to you magic folk, but maybe she knows something about Hel that we don't."

Fergus

Location: O.M.E.N. Panic Room - O.M.E.N Headquarters - Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Bronwyn Calliban @FantasyChic, Alec Fletcher @Peridot, Alex Jakobsen @BlueSky44

Alec's plane has been in the air for a little over half an hour now, with an hour and a half remaining in flight time. Fortunately(?) for him, it's likely this O.M.E.N. meeting will still be in progress by the time he joins them all in Washington D.C.

Agent Zacharia stared at Bronwyn for a moment, her expression a mixture of shock and disappointment. Bronwyn had presented herself as an expert on Hel and her intentions, but didn't even have a strategy plan to suggest. Maybe it was just how the Americans operated - half cocked and ready to charge into battle? At any rate, she wasn't going to tell Bronwyn that it wasn't just her job - that it was all of their jobs and the recommendation of an expert would be a great help. "Right, then..." Zacharia said, before taking her seat.

"Look, finding her isn't going to be the issue," Jade said, scowling a bit through the monitor.

"Agent Cornish, I suppose we may hear your report now," Irwin acknowledged. Cornish? Wasn't that the same surname of the mildly unpleasant British fellow, Rupert Cornish? There was a bit of a family resemblance between them, but not much.

"Mm. O.M.E.N. Agents Keenan and Decker lost contact. From what I can find in the security footage, they went into combat against two unarmed girls," Jade said. She paused, before the monitor flipped over briefly to a blurry image of a young blonde and a brunette. "Could be related to Hel, but my gut says no. Walter Hanson was taken out in the crossfire and eliminated."

There was nearly a resounding chorus of murmurs of content. In fact, one by one, a majority of the agents started to applaud. Walter Hanson had been O.M.E.N.'s most wanted - the man responsible for the deaths of so many at Altsoba. His death had been a long time coming, and finally, he had paid for his crimes. "...Right. Anyways, I lost contact with Agent James Murphy while on route to Coventry. I then encountered the necromantic in question - Hel, along with a gigantic wolf. As you can see, she packs a punch." Jade smiled awkwardly, gesturing at the many bruises, cuts, and scrapes she had. "I estimate there was a low chance of there being any survivors at Agent Murphy's location. If anyone was there, they're likely dead."

"Oh, Fenrir! Good on her, finding him again," Fergus snickered. "He and my - well, the demon's - hellhound used to play together. Really, a wonderful pup. Deadly, vicious, and sentimental at heart. I'd choose him over any of you American gents any day."

Jade ignored Fergus this time, instead turning her attention back to Alec. The O.M.E.N. agents with him on the plane had fallen silent, merely absorbing the information as best as they could. "Good. Then someone should track down that scientist and question her, if she's still alive. According to the druid, Hel can be killed with her own sword...and I'm pretty sure the goddess has it on her."

"Doubt she'll just let you have it," Fergus chimed in. "Not that I suppose you'd even bother asking nicely for it. Humans never do."

Robin Ramírez & Aloise Zamora

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Mariana Garcia @Nallore

Aloise grimaced slightly. Hel had chosen perhaps an odd place for them to meet her in the morning. But then again, she was the Goddess of Death - and from what Aloise had observed, a little bit of a drama queen. "Springfield," Aloise said simply. It was home to the largest hotspot of paranormal activity in Nebraska - Ball Cemetery. Visitors were supposedly attacked after dark. A few hunters had attempted to purge the area of activity - they didn't all come out of the cemetery alive and the ones that did were never the same.

"You've got to be joking," Robin said. She then walked over to Aloise and without a word, she yanked out the arrow bolt that was in her, before passing Aloise a bandage to wrap it with. Aloise gritted her teeth in pain but she didn't scream. She had been through worse as both a hunter and a marine.

"It's a cabin, not too far from there," Aloise added, knowing that she didn't need to mention the cemetery by name. "It's only a half hour drive. We can leave now and plan on how to get the sword from her...Or we can spend the night here."

Mariana Garcia

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Robin Ramirez & Aloise Zamora@Morose

Mariana looked towards Aloise for a moment when she said that they weren't that far from meeting Hel at her location, she had heard of Springfield from other hunters. She didn't want to step foot in that place, but she didn't really have a choice to, running a hand through her hair looking over towards Robin. "I guess we should stalk up on some salt." She said, as her cousin walked over towards Aloise, she winced and flinched when Robin yanked the arrow out of the fellow hunter.

Before Robin wrapped it up Mariana grabbed a nearby beer bottle and poured some of the alcohol onto the wound so that it wouldn't get infected. Mariana thought about either staying the night here or moving out now to their assigned location, crossing her arms over her chest as she eyed the two other ladies for a moment. "I say we plan out here, I don't trust her location and dunno if she has some deadies being the goddess of death and all that in her ear around there if we plan to betray her. Sound good to you two?" Mariana asked eyeing both her cousin and Aloise.

Alexander Jakobsen

Location: OMEN Headquarters - Washington DC

Agent Jakobsen had been pretty quiet until now. The arguing, the voices, everyone trying to be heard and hoping to come up with some form of a plan. There isn't much you could really do against a goddess, especially the Goddess of Death herself. The arguing was pointless in his mind as he watched everyone else. The arguing was getting pretty annoying, since no one seemed to want to come up with a decent plan. Especially since they could totally combine 2 of those plans together or something.

"So, let me get this straight, you either want to nuke her, or stab her with her own sword. Both interesting ideas, but both have one flaw. I agree with her" he said, nodding towards Bronwyn, "Maybe we should find the goddess first, since both of those plans require us being able to find her I personally say we should try and find her, and then try to steal her sword and kill her. If that doesn't work, we can always try the nuke. Combining the two plans together wouldn't hurt. Trying to kill her with her own sword could potentially lessen the casualties, however should we fail, the nuclear missile could potentially harm her, but it would cause a lot of damage in one big blast. I don't know about you guys, but this sounds like a better option in the long run".

Bronwyn Calliban

Location: Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Those at OMEN Headquarters

Bronwyn was a bit miffed that the agent asking her seemed disappointed. She was there to help. It wasn't her that classified herself as an expert on Hel. She just knew the information, which is why she was here. To help. Not to lead. Not to form her own team. To help, who she assumed was, experts in this field come up with a game plan to stop the end of the world.

Before she could voice her strong opinions, the topic moved on to some scientist who seemed to be important. Going back to the scene where Hel first entered could be useful. She walked over to the others speaking. "I'd like to volunteer to go talk to the scientist if you need people. I doubt I would have much use here and I did say I wanted to help. If that's ok with you all. I'm not here to step on toes."

Angel With a Shotgun Pt. 2!
Jessica Pearson

Location: Jessica's Apartment - Clearwater, Florida
Interacting With: Sayuki's Daughter & Angel Killer Squad.

Jessica managed to finish up the rest of her sigil, by the time she looked up thirteen of them started to surround her she really didn't like the odds of being surrounded. She gripped her bloodied hand tightly as the leader started to take a step forward towards her, giving the angel an angry glare towards him. She really hated being called an abomination, all she wanted to do was just live a simple life and didn't do anything other then being a half angel. "Shouldn't you be paying more attention to whats going on DC?" Jessica said glaring at them, after the leader finished his little speech and they started to approach her, Jessica quickly knelt down and activated the sigil.

In a blinding flash of light only five of them were successfully banished, they would certainly be back of course leaving her with just eight of them left to deal with. Still very out numbered, Jessica gripped the wrench she managed to find just a few seconds ago and the knife in the other hand. Jessica's eyes glowed bright white as she quickly put her hand forward, she waited until it was close enough before telekinetically threw the closest angel as hard as she could watching it fly off to the distance.

Jessica noticed the angel quickly fled from it's host after her throw, she didn't notice until it was right in front of her the next closest one came in for the kill. Quickly using the time, she side stepped out of the way the blade nearly hitting her, which was way to close for her comfort. Jessica took a step forward towards the one in front of her, she was just about to reach forward to try and smite the angel that nearly hit her.

She then lets out a loud cry in pain as she felt a sharp pain go through her back, causing her to stumble to the side slightly reaching over to her back. Looking down she saw blood on her hand, and felt some of it sliding down her back, breathing heavily as she took a few steps back eyeing them closely.

Jessica gripped the wrench in one hand as tightly as she could as she watched the angels get closer towards her, when one of them got close enough she swung the wrench as hard as she could across the head of the closest angel. Hearing a cracking sound as it landed perfectly, but it only stunned the one she had hit. Then the angels pushed her back suddenly sending her stumbling backwards several feet behind her, she eyed them individually. Jessica knew she didn't have enough time to make another sigil, as she looked around for an escape route so that she could run away again.

Jessica braced herself bringing her arms up to her face as two angels got to close to her, she groaned loudly in pain as both of her arms were cut. She didn't have any other choice, Jessica turned and started to run off as fast and as hard as she could breathing heavily as she felt her arms, and back were stinging in pain. She hadn't ran this hard ever in her life as she managed to get a good distance away from them before feeling very winded. Looking over her shoulder and then looked down at her bloodied arms, everywhere really hurt her back, her arms, and legs.

Jessica looked over her shoulder they were still a fair distance away from her, looking at the little blood trail on the ground as well as the injuries on her arm. She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself, running a hand over the wounds as she tried to heal herself the pain was still there. When she looked down the healing didn't work, Jessica quickly stood up she figured that she was still to injured to fully heal herself. "Damn it.." Jessica said to herself, as she slowly got back up to her feet again holding her arms out Jessica used more of her concentration her eyes glowing bright once more as she felt the ground starting to shake, causing a large crevice to appear before her. She needed to slow them down and continue to try and escape.

Jessica's eyes stopped glowing as she started to lower her hand, she then started to wince slightly as she started to hear the angels over the radio starting to sound very panicked, she was surprised that the ones that were ordered to kill her were being recalled to DC. Hearing reapers, and then the angels in DC was getting very worrying for her something really big was going on over there and it was going to happen very soon.

Slowly she started to pull out her phone feeling it starting to vibrate, with a shaky hand Jessica started to slowly make her way back to where she had ran to cautiously. They may have been recalled back to DC, they may have left one to try and deal with her, Jessica brought her bloodied hand up to her ear as she pressed accept on the phone call. "Hello?" Jessica asked with a slightly shaky voice, as she slowly made her way back.

"Hey, that you down in Florida causing all the shit on the highway? You made the news. Well, the shit did. Not you. They don't know it was you that caused it but if you're calling my dad for help, that means it was you - right. So what're your deal?" Kyasarin said, Jessica stopped in her tracks after hearing that her little run in was already on the news, which was something that she absolutely didn't want at all. Jessica thought about what she was going to say, she needed some kind of help.

"Yeah, that was me. I'm a Nephilim, basically angels found me and they want me dead that's why I called earlier I need a place to lay low and something big is going down in DC." Jessica said as she walked back and found her bag she had left behind and started to pick it up groaning slightly. "And they nicked me several times."

Jessica stopped to look at her arms, they were in bad shape she slowly ran her hand up and down her arm feeling the healing quickly taking place, the pain started to leviate itself. Letting out a slight sigh as she felt a little bit better, but her back was still a large problem Jessica couldn't reach the wound that the angels caused during her skirmish with them.

“Well, smile a little bit. You’re on camera. You see the traffic camera up there to your left? That’s all me. You’re in some big shit, aren’t you? A place to hide from angels…I think I might know somewhere useful.” Kyasarin said, Jessica stopped for a moment as she turned around a few times to try until she spotted the traffic cam in question. Jessica then started to figure that she was some kind of hacker able to get into the traffic cam like that, and gave a slight wave.

The idea of a place to lay low and heal appealed to her, she really did need to keep her head low for awhile. "I owe you big time." Jessica said giving a slight smile. "Tell me where to go." Jessica asked as she slowly moved over to her car, she was glad that it was there. Jessica winced slightly as she opened the car door and then flopped into the driver's seat, letting out a groan as she felt the leathery seat pressing up against her back. She looked down at the keys and started up the ignition, she heard the engine sputtering, but didn't work the first time. When she did it a second time Jessica sighed loudly in relief as she heard the engine actually start and slowly started up move again.

"Mm, you owe me one, baka. Take the first exit and head north for a few miles, before getting back on the interstate. Seems faster." Kyasarin said over the phone. Jessica nodded as she set the phone down and started to put it on the car's speakers so she would be able to focus more on driving. "I do, whatever you need within reason." Jessica said with a slight smile as she started to drive forward taking Kyasarin's directions finding the first exit, and started to drive up north.

Jessica would continue to drive north for awhile while looking around in case anything happened after having the pack of angels gunning for her she was a bit paranoid, eventually Jessica got back onto the interstate. "Is there a way to get in contact with OMEN HQ?" Jessica asked, a part of her was getting paranoid and worried about what was going to be happening over there from what she heard on Angel radio. "Angel radio has been going crazy, enough that they caused the hunting party after me to be called off and Reapers are being called in as well something about a Hel."

When In Doubt, Go to the Library!

Seraphina took a step back as she watched Thalia kneeling over and noticed a set of wings suddenly sprouting out from her back, reaching for her weapon eyeing her suspiciously. She wasn't sure if Thalia was going to be hostile or not, then Folly seemed to go crazy all of a sudden in front of her, and tried to choke out Lilith. Seraphina was about to attack when Fairfax had decided to knock the girl out, she kept her guard up as she eyed those that were in the room. She wasn't even sure what was going on either with them as Seraphina looked towards Fairfax, right now he was her concern if he were to die now she wasn't sure what would happen to time itself.

Thalia's vision swirled, as soon, she saw a giant purple figure, consuming a star. This didn't help her, since her head had started to pound, along with the pain in her back. The figure looked over at her, giving her a smile, before her vision swirled back and she found herself in the library once more. She started to get up again, practically falling backwards as she adjusted to the weight of the wings. That was not an easy thing, then she tried to think of some answer to Fairfax's question.

"I know what he called you. Do you want to know?" Deadpool teased her with a laugh. She glared at the man, before he continued talking. "He called you a bunch of names, but the one that he ended with was Time Dragon I believe. Though all of that was before I popped up so..." Thalia thought back for a moment, and found that for once, the guy in red spandex was actually being useful. "I'm... I'm not sure... The man, Faust or whatever his name was, back at the circus... He called me, a time dragon... But that doesn't make any sense since last I checked, I'm human".

Before Lilith could voice her opinion yet again, she had hands on her throat. But not just any hands. They were Folly's. If anything, the look on her face said she wanted to stop, but the fact she wasn't going to worried Lilith as she felt her heart race and slowly fade. It was then she noticed Fairfax creep up and wham a book right on Folly's head. She dropped her and Lilith crumpled to the ground, fasping for breath.

Not only that, but it seems Thalia had sprouted wings in the time it took to choke her. Lilith wasn't able to speak, not while she regained her breath back, but needless to say she gave Thalia a worried look. A look that said, "What the fuck is going on?"

Fairfax took Thalia's explanation rather well, all things considering. His eyes lit up as she explained that someone else accused her of not being human. "Eureka! Of course, Miss Thalia! That makes perfect sense!" He was positively glowing, having to make a conscious effort to explain himself properly. "My dear, you are human - but at the same time, you are not. Are you familiar with the concept of evolution? It is a scientific theory that explains how species change and evolve over time - in essence, one may say how we mutate. There is some talk in the scientific community of human mutation. Perhaps an organ that is no longer needed."

"Yet in your case, I believe that the exposure to the anomalies today caused you to mutate. Perhaps it was latent in you - there's talk of proteins as being the basis for life and the results are quite convincing. Or maybe all of the energy from the anomaly changed the way your proteins are structured, causing you to take on this more draconian form. In English, I believe this energy caused a drastic change in your protein structure, enough that you grew wings. I wonder what other changes your biology may now contain..."

Folly, meanwhile, was starting to stir. It was rather strange for her to already start to wake up - she seemed to heal rather quickly. She was still on the edge of consciousness, but the madness that had infected her mind was not there. She could think clearly - well, as clearly as you can when you were just hit over the head by your great-grandfather.

Seraphina went over towards Lilith and gently laid a hand on the woman to heal her of any wounds that Folly may have caused when she was trying to choke her. Her eyes then wondered over towards Thalia who had wings now, as Fairfax quickly went on and explaining what had happened to her. Her attention was more trained on Folly, who was both a danger to herself, and everyone else as well as Fairfax she was more worried about. "Shall we get back to the matter at hand, with Hel?" Seraphina asked, she watched Folly stirring which was what she was starting to worry about if the woman would end up snapping again.

Thalia nodded in agreement with Seraphina, they needed to get back to the task at hand, and hopefully they would come up with something to do. She didn't speak, since her throat was starting to feel a little weird. Almost sore, but there was nothing that could be done about it now. She was glad that Lilith seemed ok, after Folly nearly strangled her. Her throat was really acting up, and she felt a burning in her chest, before she started coughing. Thalia covered her mouth, but soon she wasn't able to. A moment later, she coughed again and a ball of fire came shooting out, landing on the ground with a sputter. "Great, this day just keeps getting better and better," she managed to say, her voice sounding hoarse.

Lilith could feel the angel's hands on her and could feel the warmth radiate over her as her throat began to feel immensely better. She It no longer hurt to breathe and she could normalize it. She stood up just fine. Just in time to see Thalia shoot a fireball come out of her mouth. She looked at the girl, then to Fairfax, then to Seraphina, and then back at Thalia. "I mean...what the hell? I'm used to this weird shit coming up now, but this is...what the hell are you Thalia? Screw Hel for a minute, I just had a young girl choke me out and now someone else I know has wings and can spit fire. So no, let's talk about this first."

Folly lowered her head slightly in shame. "I...I didn't know what I was doing..." Folly confessed. She shut her eyes for a moment and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up as her father's voice whispered in her ear. Daughter of mine, daughter of mine...I'm so proud of you, daughter of mine...You'll carry on the family legacy, you see, painting the world red... Her eyes shot open as she gasped a bit. It was evident that she was beginning to lose her mind. "I'm...I'm sorry, I have to go..." Folly said, before she took off at a run, slamming open the doors of the library and quickly vanishing from sight.

"Amiyra!" Fairfax shouted, his heart pounding quickly. He looked at Lilith, Seraphina, and Thalia for a moment before he took off as well, chasing after her. He had never run this fast before in his life but it didn't matter. He had a responsibility towards Folly and something was clearly troubling her. Had he not been so focused on Folly, he would have explained to Lilith once more his hypothesis that Thalia was simply a mutated human being.

Seraphina looked towards Thalia as she watched the woman coughing up a bit of flame from her mouth, she'd heard of mutants before but she rarely came to earth unless she was on an assignment. "Basically she's a mutant, some of you may change on a more genetic level most likely the stresses of what happened here today caused it to happen." Seraphina said, as she turned her attention towards Fairfax and Folly, seeing the girl suddenly darting off.

She was more worried about Fairfax as the girl darted off, she needed to make sure she didn't lose it and end up killing Fairfax, and ruin time looking at the two ladies there. "I'll be back." Seraphina said as she ran out and started to catch up to Folly with no problem, and reached out to grab the girl's arm careful to not hurt her or anything she looked at her. "Wait." Seraphina says looking at her for a moment.

"Actually, I believe he said a mutate. Which means who knows what. This whole thing is confusing, and my throat feels like it's on fire, and that might possibly mean literally," she said to Lilith as she watched everyone take off out the door. Thalia moved to race after them, when her wings started to freak out. They started moving uncontrollably, knocking even more books off of the shelves. She started shaking, as the pain hit her, feeling like muscle cramps in her back. These things clearly were more of a hassle than they were worth.

Lilith threw her arms up. "Oh, ok, that explains everything! So we're all gonna mutate or what? Am I going to be able to fly now? None of this is being explained and.." Thalia's wings began to flip out and knock things over as everyone ran out. Lilith stepped back a bit, fearful of what Thalia could do. Hell, she was just choked by Folly, she didn't trust anyone anymore. "I just wanted a simple trip to the library. Was that so much to ask for?" she asked to no one in particular.

Agent Alec Fletcher

Location: Private Jet en route to DC
Interacting With: @Morose Agent Jade Cornish, @FantasyChic Bronwyn Calliban, @BlueSky44 Alexander Jakobsen

"Huh... so O.M.E.N lost some Agents as well..." No wonder the ones on the plane had been so frosty at first. Next, the Brit went on to explain how she'd been in contact with Murphy before running into Hel herself. The girl was lucky to be alive and in on piece, and Alec was amazed she'd survived the encounter. Still, the question of Murphy and his investigations still had to be addressed. How much had he shared with this Agent Cornish? Perhaps she had extra intel on this scientist...

"W-wait. What's that about wolves and hellhounds?" He muttered to himself, looking at Fergus incredulously before his attention was recaptured by Jade. It seemed that she agreed with him - this Fairfax woman needed to be located, stat, before Hel caused any more damage to the world and their people. The possibility that a weapon capable of killing did in fact exist was a comforting one, regardless of the fact of where it was. If Hel did have it, then that probably meant it was indestructible to some degree, or had other useful properties that far outweighed the fact that her immortality could be sliced away with it.

Or y'know, it was just bullshit mythology and they were all screwed.

Eyes darting now to a male O.M.E.N Agent on screen, Alec's brow furrowed once again in disbelief. Was this guy being serious?

"Hah... I uh, I think the use of a nuke was just an attempt of British humour." He interjected with a lazy grin. "I think it's safe to say that ageless immortal Goddesses aren't all that affected by radiation poisonin' or large explosions, but unfortunately, us squishy mortals are. If you want to take her on like she's Godzilla, then I recommend you lure her to a desert island or something - best of lucky with that." Finishing with a dry chuckle, Alec's eyes flicked back to Bronwyn. "I'll come along and visit Ms. Fairfax as well, unless you folks out-ranking me want me elsewhere. I'm here to pick up where Murphy left off, which means visiting our elusive red-head. Hopefully I don't get... interrupted, like he did." Interrupted indeed - the last thing Alec needed was to run into a pissed off Nordic Deity and her oversized pet pup. He had an inkling he wouldn't fare quite as lucky as Agent Cornish.

@Nallore@FantasyChic@BlueSky44@Peridot
December 28th, 2016 - 10:26 P.M. EST - 0 Days Since Hel Returned

I sense a great disturbance in the Force...

There seems to be a Star Wars quote for every situation and this is no exception. Just as Obi-Wan sensed the mass death as Darth Vader ordered the destruction of Princess Leia's home world, so would many throughout this universe and perhaps even the next sense a great tragedy about to unfold. Those with psychic abilities - perhaps even those particularly attuned to this sort of death - would be filled with perhaps dread or terror - maybe even indifference, depending on the personality. But knowing that something is about to happen does not give you the power to change it. The dice have been rolled and the fates have been determined.

Now, enter Hel from stage left...

Case Name: When In Doubt, Go to the Library!
Members: Folly, Fairfax, Seraphina, Thalia, Lilith
Length: 7 Days (Roll requests stop on day 6 - you'll only have 1-2 more rounds of this case left)
Recruiting: Why the hell not?
Goal: Come up with a plan.

Case Name: Angel With a Shotgun
Members: Jessica
Length: 7 Days (Roll requests stop on day 6)
Recruiting: Probably best if you don't...O.O
Goal: Don't die!

Fergus

Location: O.M.E.N. Panic Room - O.M.E.N Headquarters - Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Various @BlueSky44@Peridot@FantasyChic

There was a bit of silence in the room as various officials looked at one another. Eventually, Acting Director Irwin cleared his throat, drawing all of the attention towards him. "How many civilian casualties would there be if we combine the plans?" Irwin eventually asked. His eyes darted over the room, somehow making it was clear that he wasn't finished speaking even though silence was hanging. "Hel means to destroy us. If we have to sacrifice in order to defeat her...That's a call I'm willing to make."

"But sir, the president would need to authorize--"

Irwin held up a finger. "You know damn well the president is useless to us in this situation. He's out of political capital and his replacement spends all day on Twitter. We don't have the time to convince people that action is necessary. We have the power to act - and may god have mercy on our souls if we fail."

Rupert Cornish nodded, rubbing his forehead before turning to face the monitors once more as he regarded his niece. "Agent Cornish, help Agent Fletcher and Miss Calliban in finding the physicist. Use of lethal force is permitted. Head there immediately - we'll send you additional instructions."

"Roger that," Jade replied. "Try not to end the world without me," she then quipped, before disconnecting from the video call. It wouldn't take her too long to reach Coventry from her present location. From Alec's plan, the flight time to the Boston area is only half an hour. As soon as the orders are given, his plane turns sharply as they correct their course. For Bronwyn, it's an hour and a half plane ride away.

"We could lure her to Canada," Fergus mused. "They're all too nice...And you've seen how they play hockey, I'm sure they could handle themselves." He sighed slightly. He already missed his private stash of booze down in his home/prison cell. And as fascinating as this meeting was, he already knew the conclusion they would arrive at. They'd try to trick Hel (and they'd fail), they're attempt to kill her with her own weapon (which would be hilarious, but likely fail in his mind), and then they'd go to the nuke - which would fail again and wipe out the Eastern seaboard.

"What?" Fergus then said, noticing a few rather appalled looks that he was given. "All they do is produce maple syrup! There's hardly any value there!"

Robin Ramírez & Aloise Zamora

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Mariana Garcia @Nallore

Aloise nodded. She understood Mariana's apprehension about heading to Hel's designated meet up location already. It wasn't a long trip to make, so they didn't need to leave anytime soon to make it as well. For a moment, her thoughts drifted towards Darren and Liam. She once had something with Darren - and she nearly had something with Liam. For a moment, her weariness was clear on her face. She had lost too much for one lifetime.

"So...How to trick a goddess...Should be an easy enough plan to come up with," Robin said, cracking a bit of a smile. The conversation had been serious and heavy so far, making smiles and jokes rare. She paused for a moment, drumming her fingers on her side. While they had lured plenty of monsters into traps before, a deity was a first for her. "I guess it works the same was as any lure - we distract her with something."

Aloise's eyes lit up for a moment. The perfect idea had just popped into her head. "With bait - and I know exactly what Hel would come running for," Aloise said. "The cloak will increase her powers - she's desperate to get it. And she hasn't gotten it. It's in Massachusetts. If we get the cloak - or make her think we have it - we can lure her to us."

"Are there any sigils that can hold her?" Robin asked. A plan was beginning to form in her mind as well.

Hel, Goddess of Death, Daughter of Loki

Location: O.M.E.N. Panic Room - O.M.E.N Headquarters - Washington D.C.
Interacting With: Martyrs @BlueSky44@Peridot@FantasyChic

"Those aren't the correct sigils and warding," Hel said as she stepped into O.M.E.N.'s panic room. She had appeared from seemingly nowhere. One moment, the corridor outside had been empty. The next, there was a vibrant flash of green light and the marble floor had been scorched, with a gigantic sigil carved into it. Hel was a tall and regal looking figure, yet with a horrifying visage. As if someone had drawn a line down the middle of her, her left side appeared to be withered and decayed - as if half of her had died. The other half was the epitome of beauty and youthfulness, of health and life.

There was a thud as a handful of individuals in the room fainted at the very sight of her.

"Now, there's no need to be alarmed. I would offer you a choice - to die or kneel before me - but I sense that your choice has already been made...Yet I shall do the kindness of letting you know before you perish that a nuke would have done nothing more than amuse me." She looked around the room, before lifting the large sword she carried in her hand.

There was no warning - Rupert Cornish sprung up from his seat and threw himself at Hel in an attempt for the sword. Irwin provided him a cover of bullets, but they did nothing to the goddess. And when Cornish's skin brushed Hel's skin, he began to shake wildly before falling entirely still. The goddess then smirked before throwing her sword at Irwin. It skewered him and Hel then held out her arm, the sword flying back towards her and returning to her hand.

There were 143 people at O.M.E.N. headquarters that day. What followed could only be described as a bloodbath. There would be only fourteen survivors.

The heroes were the first to die. Their blood was spilled on the ground by Hel's sword or their bodies fell limp at her touch. Yet with each person the died, Hel began to create an army. As the Goddess of Death, she animated the corpses and set them on what had once been their allies. Fergus seemed to hardly mind as Death greeted him. Agent Zacharia fought till the very end, until she too was killed. Agent Evans died protecting Bronwyn, only for Hel to slay the druid as well.

"Isn't this better?" Hel said, walking through the blood drenched facility. Among the thirty in the panic room, only two had survived. The other eight were scattered throughout O.M.E.N. headquarters. The goddess paused for a moment, seeing the bloodied but still breathing form of Alexander Jakobsen.

"Do not mistake this for mercy - you retaining your life. It is crueler to leave you to exist whilst your allies have given their lives for their cause. You will speak to the leaders of this world and instruct them to lay down their arms - or I shall lay waste to them just as I did here tonight," Hel warned. She then vanished in another gleaming beam of light, leaving O.M.E.N. headquarters heavy with silence.

Alec would have witnessed the entire slaughter on the monitors.

Now, the other survivor in the panic room with Alex? It's a young scientist for O.M.E.N., specializing in biology, neuroscience, surgery, and medicine. His name? Ricky Goldsworth.

Mariana Garcia

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Robin Ramirez & Aloise Zamora@Morose

Mariana moved over and sat down on the table as she started to go over the thoughts in her head, when she looked towards Robin she smiled slightly at her little joke. Getting the sword was going to be a lot harder said then done in her opinion, going it over in her head on what to do. Then her attention turned towards Aloise when she did come up with a plan, mentioning a cloak that could increase her power which was a great plan. But it was over in Massachusetts, which was practically on the other side of the country and they needed to meet her in the morning. So that wasn't going to be a plan to travel over there, so they needed to trick her into thinking that they had it in their hands.

"Any idea what this cloak looks like?" Mariana asked looking over towards Aloise, if she had an idea on what it actually looked like then they could probably end up buying a cheap blanket and just do a bit of modifications to make it look like it was her cloak. Mariana looked towards Robin and gave a slight shrug, deities weren't really her specialty on what runes they were going to be trying to look for. "I guess we should also try and find some Norse warding as well." Mariana said softly rubbing the back of her neck for a moment looking towards Aloise if she knew anything on Norse sigils and what not.

Alexander Jakobsen

Location: OMEN Headquarters - Washington DC

Alex was glad to hear that someone was taking his idea more seriously. It wasn't too bad of a plan in his mind, since it was a if all else fails type of thing. So, they needed to find the physicist woman, and they had a somewhat concrete plan now, as opposed to a bunch of people arguing over finding a solution. The day was looking up, at least for him. Until Hel decided to pay them a visit.

There was so much chaos. Her appearance caused some to faint, the lucky bastards. They at least weren't really conscious when they died, or to see what was going on. He watched as Cornish dove for her, but even with the cover another agent was providing, he could see that it was no use. The woman was too powerful, and he watched as one by one, everyone fell. There was so much death, he got thrown backwards during the destruction, but he was still breathing. Hurting, but alive.

He didn't know how much longer that was going to last, especially when Hel turned towards him. Alex felt like there was no way he was going to survive, but was surprised when the goddess didn't kill him. Apparently he was to go off and play messenger for her. After she had left, he looked around, trying to see if there were any other survivors. He saw Ricky there, and managed to make his way over to him. "Hey, you alright? Look, we need to get out of here, now!" he said to him,, as he glanced around the area quickly. He feared that there was a chance that Hel might come back again, possibly changing her mind about finishing the job she had started.

Angel With a Shotgun Pt. 3!
Jessica Pearson

Location: Highway Near, Clearwater, Florida
Interacting With: Sayuki

As Jessica continued to drive along the highway she listened to Sayuki on the other end, and gave a slight smile good she should at least warn them in some way, hearing Sayuki saying something in Japanese which she couldn't understand at all. "What is it Sayuki?" Jessica asked as she started to drive along the ramp. She wasn't paying attention to the merger until it was a little bit to late, Jessica quickly slammed on the breaks and tried to swerve out of the way.

Jessica jolted forward as she felt the front bumper of her car hit the other, she rested her forehead on the steering wheel letting out a very loud annoyed groan. First being hunted by an angel killer squad, and now getting into an accident. "I just made the final payment on this thing." Jessica said she rolled her eyes when Sayuki said "Wow, you have shit luck..." She looked around before slowly getting up and out of her car looking at her somewhat bloodied seat from her injured back, from the angels earlier. "I'm going to see if they are alright." Jessica said as she started to approach the couple in the car seeing them unmoving.

Jess reached into her car and grabbed her phone in case Sayuki ended up saying anything important, she slowly started to approach the closest car. She knelt down somewhat to look at the driver in the first car, seemed like the driver and passenger had minor injuries. "Don't worry i'll get help." Jessica said towards them, then she made her way towards the other car, which was in worse shape as she got closer Jessica noticed that they were in worse condition then the previous driver.

As Jessica pulled the door open, to get a better look at the occupants, there were three of them as she went in to check their pulses and noticed that they were weak. She went to try and heal them, seeing that some of the minor wounds were healed she started to try and pull the two out. She closed her eyes when she laid the two on the ground, she couldn't feel any sort of pulse on them, and looked away she went back in and yanked the third passenger out carefully. The sole survivor of the crash but the person was still in critical condition, as she tried to help the third one out.

When In Doubt, Go to the Library!

Seraphina looked towards Fairfax for a moment and then over towards Folly as she started to try and think of a way that she could at least help the girl in some way that she can. "I can maybe help, not sure how long it would last." Seraphina said looking towards Fairfax for a moment before looking back at Folly. "I have the ability to alter your memories, or heal whatever it is that you are dealing with in your mind." Seraphina offered.

Thalia managed to straighten up, spending some time regaining her balance. Her wings weren't freaking out anymore, but they still twitched as they started to relax a little. She looked over at Lilith, before taking a deep breath. "We should probably follow them," she said to her friend, before making her way out the door, following where everyone else had gone. Walking was not the easiest with the wings, but she managed too for the most part.

Lilith just about jumped when the felt the cool touch of a hand on her shoulder. She looked over to see the spirit. It was a woman she recognized very well. Fiadora. Thalia spoke of following the others. Lilith knew Thalia couldn't see the spirit, so she nodded her approval. "You go on ahead of me. I just need a minute alone." Once Thalia was gone, she turned to face the spirit and let her speak.

It was true, she was now in a huge shit storm. However, she was a spirit medium and fortune teller. She was out of her element in more ways than one. The only things she concerned herself with normally was Folly's safety and her own. Now she had others relying on her and she didn't like it. Not only that, but she had Hel to worry about now and the potential of worldwide destruction if she just stayed put. "Easier said than done. I'll keep an eye on her provided she doesn't choke me again." She bid the spirit farewell before she ran outside to follow Thalia and the others.

Folly shook her head, the madness suddenly seeming so small, just like a headache that had taken a turn for the better. Of course, she was still ill - but the fog had cleared and she could think for herself. "No. My memories are who I am," Folly said, before her eyes flickered over towards Fairfax. "But you should send him back - we've seen what happens to those who meddle with time. You as well...Or maybe Andromeda won't be the only one to die...And then what happened to Thalia..."

Fairfax sighed - he knew that Folly was right. The longer he stayed there, the more danger everyone was in - Folly included. If he had to go back in time, he wanted to take Folly back with him - but if he did that, then time would change and she may not even be born. "Send me back," Fairfax finally said, his voice hoarse. "But allow me to keep my memories - even in the past, I may be able to be of some assistance to our cause."

Seraphina looked towards Folly and gave her a slight nod, she didn't know why she would want to have continual bouts of madness. But then again it was Folly's choice to continue going mad. When she suggested sending herself and Fairfax back to their respective times she looked towards him. Moments ago he was threatening to destroy time if he was sent back now, he was finally seeing reason now which was good in her opinion. "Very well I shall send you back now, and I will not tamper with your memories on that you have my word." Seraphina said, as she looked towards Thalia and Lilith seeing the two women catching up.

"I wish you three luck with Hel, I would help. But if we stay longer it may do more harm then good." Seraphina said softly as she looked towards Fairfax, and gently laid a hand on his shoulder then the two of them were gone just like that, leaving Lilith, Folly and Thalia alone in the building.

Thalia watched as Seraphina and Fairfax left, leaving the three of them there alone. Well, that was unexpected, and she didn't know what the three of them were going to do. They were there, at the library, with no clue how to deal with what all was going on. She thought hat it would be best to just say it out loud. "So, now what do we do? The three of us can't stop Hel, even if we really knew how. The library didn't seem to have much that we could use either." she said, looking at Folly and Lilith.

Lilith made it back just in time to see Fairfax getting sent back as well as the angel returning. Frustrated now, she was left with the girl who just tried to kill her and another who was turning into some weird fire-breathing angel thing. "So we just lost two people who had any sort of idea what to do. Great..."

December 28th, 2016 - 11:01 P.M. EST - 0 Days Since Hel Returned

Since we are coming onto the end of day, each of you has received the following reward for surviving: a get out of death free card! These cards can be used once in order to change the fate of a character. This does not have to be your character - say, your favorite character's significant other dies? Bam! Use the card and they're a-okay! Use these cards wisely, as it's unlikely they will ever be awarded again...

These cards are eligible to be used in the following RPs:

  • The Horrors of Coventry
  • Darke Magyk
  • The Wolves of Red Lake (permission given by @Nallore)
  • X-Men: Darkness Rising (permission given by @BlueSky44)
  • The Unfortunate Thirteen (permission given by @BlueSky44)
  • Any future RP GM'ed by Morose

Now believe it or not, my dears, but December 28th is drawing to a close. Its famously known to be the unluckiest day of the year - rumored to be when Judas turned on Jesus - yet you all know too well the horrors that lurk on this day. How many of you are still alive? Of those who died - did you suspect you would have drawn your last breath this day? Perhaps it is better that way - you won't have to be alive for the coming year. It appears that darkness is rising as our world plunges more and more into chaos and despair. While we lived in ignorance before the events of Altsoba and New York, maybe it was better that way. It was better to not anticipate a gruesome end and to instead arrive at it unexpectedly.

Well, I suppose time will tell...

Highway Near Clearwater, Florida...

From somewhere behind her, Jessica can hear the sound of three sharp knocks. If she turns her head, she can see a cloak seemingly materialize out of nowhere. As it drifted softly to the ground, it began to take shape and form - yet she wouldn't be able to see who was under it. Yet Jessica, well versed in angel lore, would recognize a kumakatok when she saw one. There were only three in existence - two older men and one young girl. The names they went by tended to change to suit the time and place.

There was also a brief commotion on the end of the line. "Hai...I am sorry I missed your call. Kyasarin says that you need help?" It was none other than Chikashi himself. He sounded a little shaken, clearly troubled by something that had just gone on. "There...there was an incident at O.M.E.N. headquarters. I just missed it," Chikashi then explained.

O.M.E.N. Panic Room - O.M.E.N Headquarters - Washington D.C...

Ricky was a bit of a mess - but could you blame him? He was covered in blood that wasn't his own and he couldn't unclench his knuckles. The poor thing was quivering and as Alex approached him, he flinched a bit in fear - as if expecting an attack. But given the events that went down, that wasn't surprising either. Almost everyone that died had been brought back by Hel and turned into her personal puppets of death. It was either a blessing or a curse that once Hel left, the animated corpses dropped lifelessly to the ground. They could rest - just not in peace.

"I...I....I..." Ricky stuttered, before swallowing thickly. "When I blink...I still see...that thing...and..." his voice trailed off. He wasn't cut out for this, that much was clear. Alex was going to need to give Ricky a little bit of tough love - either that or literally drag him out of there.

Folly Valeska

Location: The Library - Coventry, Massachusetts
Interacting With: Lilith & Thalia @BlueSky44@FantasyChic

Folly leaned against the wall, letting her hair fall forward to mask her tears as Fairfax left. With him gone, it sank in that she would never see him again. They were separated by almost a century of time. The Fairfax she knew was long dead by now. She couldn't bear the thought of looking into it though - what if Fairfax had died young? Or what if he had been alive still when she was born? What if his death had been soft and peaceful - or hard and painful? They were questions she didn't want answered. As long as she didn't know what happened to him, she could imagine something kind.

After a few minutes passed, Folly stepped forward and rejoined the conversation with Thalia and Lilith. They didn't have any sort of a plan. And as far as Folly was aware, they had two options. They could run and move on with their lives - or they could stay and attempt to fight. "Hel killed our family," Folly finally said quietly. The Circus had been their home - and now, it was destroyed. "She may not have killed my mother, but she is the reason for her death...And as much as I hate my father...He's my father."

She looked down at the ground, waiting for the immediate remarks of disgust from Lilith and Thalia. She knew it wouldn't be easy to understand. Even after everything Boris had done to her, she couldn't divorce him from the idea of a proper father - one who would take care of her and look out for her. "We should do something...Maybe...Maybe contact O.M.E.N., let them know what happened here..."

"...Where did the cloak go?"

Aloise nodded, thinking back to what she had seen in Coventry. "It was like...Like the cloaks in Harry Potter. Black and thick with a hood," Aloise explained. She was sure that Hel would be able to tell the difference. From what she recalled, the cloak had magical powers. It had briefly possessed Daniyal before he was sent back to his timeline. It wasn't going to be as simple as buying a cloak and fashioning it to look like it. While it worked in movies, it rarely did in real life. Hel would be able to tell that the magic of the cloak was wrong. It was like the princess and the pea - it was something Hel would simply know.

"We can make some calls - someone we know might have some information on warding," Robin then suggested. "And of course, there's always research." Aloise hadn't given them any information on sigils, so Robin was operating under the assumption that that was because Aloise didn't know anything. The veteran hunter struck her as being a bit out of her element. It was probably for the best that Aloise had gone to recruit other hunters - she wouldn't survive this on her own.

"We should probably look out for any news from the D.C. area," Aloise suggested. Robin nodded in agreement. Whatever "business" Hel had in D.C., it couldn't possibly be good. "Got any hunter's helper on you?" Aloise then asked, referencing the pride and joy of all hunters - alcohol.

Jessica Pearson

Location: Highway Near Clearwater, Florida
Interacting With: Sayuki's Daughter, Sayuki Chikashi, & a Kumatock

As Jess did her best to try and tend to the sole survivor of the car, she heard Chikashi on the other end it was actually good to hear from him. "Thank god your alright, and yeah, was about to try and warn them, Angel Radio has been going crazy the last few minutes as well as the Reapers. Hell they even called off the angel killer squad off of me." Jessica said looking at the injured person as she continued to try and heal him, letting out a slight sigh. "Also that's the reason I called, I need a place to lay low for awhile." Jessica told him as she started to stand up, and paused.

Jessica jumped slightly when she heard three knocks, and turned around seeing the kumatock cloak materialize directly in front of her, which made her stumbled back slightly. She muted her end of the phone, but kept it on so that she could get any directions to a safe house for now. "Either i'm fated to die a day from now, or like your brothers and sisters are hear to kill me, or you need something of me." She said addressing the cloak, she really wasn't hoping that it was the latter instead of the first two options.

Mariana Garcia

Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Robin Ramirez & Aloise Zamora@Morose

Mariana nodded slightly, it probably was a little bit off and Hel would notice it wasn't her's at all, looking towards her cousin and went to turn on the news. "I'll check all the news outlets on whats going on in DC then, and make some calls to some historians and other hunters I bumped into in the past see if they know any Norse warding, or runes." Mariana said as she walked over towards her bed and pulled out her laptop looking over towards Aloise and smirked slightly. "Of course, theres some whiskey and booze in that fridge over there." Mariana said gesturing towards the small fridge in the corner of their room.

"So how did Hel get out anyway?" Mariana asked as she listened in on the news, as well as looking over on the internet with the newest stories out in the DC area, while in her free hand going over all the various contacts anyone that she had personally knew more about stuff like this. One thing that Mariana was good at was multitasking and getting to work on things as quickly as possible.
