Ash Ventri

Ash looked from one startling sight to the next, a spirit being ripped from a werewolf, a girl riding snakes, a man on an elephant, the notion that any of this was not confusing only confused him more as the young girl named Red questioned his current status. In his time at home with his adoptive family, he had only seen a few magical folk, a few mages and a handful of others, but the sheer number of people was overwhelming to someone unaccustomed to the crowd. Ash could feel the noise and the hectic nature of this gathering weigh down on him and again the plates formed as one of the other arrivals began to use his ability Ash felt his plates cover his hands and forearms, now covered in the chitinous plating he felt as though he was going to be attacked at any point, whether by the condescending man on the elephant or, in his mind, by the wolf in front of him.

"This is utter madness, why have I even come here?" The panic in his voice was palpable and magical tension around him surged as he prepared to either fight or run, "What world could you live in that this isn't confusing and mad?" Ash looked to all of the people around now, he was to close to the center of attention as the wolf that had been possessed had pulled a lot of it his way.

There was something decidedly anticlimactic about the exorcism- something Dawn was more than grateful for. She’d prefer “quick and quiet” over “slow and explosive” any day. As soon as she was sure that there was no trace of the spirit lingering in its host, her eyes cleared of the fog that had swallowed them, and she straightened up somewhat.

“There. Hopefully there, um, won’t be any more possessions any time soon.” She turned to Isaiah with a smile, although it quickly became more...apologetic, than anything. Tired. “I...can see somewhat, yes. Believe me, I’d, ah, turn it off if I could. I’ve...heard a lot of things that I wish I hadn’t.” Dawn didn’t say any more on the subject. As much as telepathy could benefit her in her line of work, it was just as much of a curse as it was a blessing, sometimes, and that was that.

She adjusted her hat. “Well. I’ve heard that spirits tend to be stronger in some places more than others. More, um. Condensed. That might be the reason why you hadn’t run into them before.” Dawn paused, then laughed a little. “Of course, I’m not an expert, so it could be something completely different. It’s, ah, interesting to theorize, though, I think.”[/color[

And then the ground began to shake.

And the horns kicked in.

And then an elephant burst into the clearing, carrying a rather smug looking rider upon its back. The two were followed by an entire parade of guards, slaves, and...Dawn blinked. Save for the slaves, it was almost a complete recreation of a scene from Aladdin. It would’ve been comical, if not for the fact that he was still followed by slaves, and that the whole show and dance put several people at risk before Dawn could even move to help.

“Charming,” Dawn murmured. She was completely unimpressed by the whole situation, but as the salt-wielder from before planted his staff and sent an illusion sweeping across the field, turning prince to peasant, she gave a quiet little chuckle. She’d have to give the illusionist responsible her compliments when she could.

“I, ah, get the feeling that it’s only going to get more interesting from here, to be honest.”

Sky

Sky was waiting in the grand hall and was a little confused as to why two of the students felt so comfortable taking about demonic possession so openly she decided to ignore them for now they were a few other students in the grand hall she was beginning to get bored when she heard a helicopter soon after she saw two more students walk into the grand hall it was fairly obvious they had some kind of military training and the young girl seamed on edge and didn’t lower her guard for a moment Sky reached into her pouch and pulled out a kunai and attached a note on the end “hello” threw it at her head she would teleport kunai the back to her before it actually hit her the kunai would disappear a few inches in front of her face if she caught the kunai she would be teleported to Sky with it

Akaneiro

Akaneiro was at home in her cemetery where she worked at night as a security guard it was really her only option since it was the only place that the smell of death and decay didn’t bother anyone her boss who ran the cemetery paid with the freshess brains and other body parts of the corpses that are brought in these where usually people who died in some kind of accident that didn’t need my autopsy she kept them in a freezer to keep them nice and fresh and instead of eating them hole she would make snacks and sweets out of them to add a little flavour while she was making her snacks for the day she when a letter appeared in front of her she gave it a quick read of the latter and placed the letter down walking over to her freezer to grand all of her ingredients she started cutting them up into small chunks she knew if she was going to attend this school she would need to prepare more food to sustain after she finished she pulled out a little picnic basket she left a note for her boss to let him know she was taking a vacation and would be back to work soon grew large wings out of her own blood and flew off to the academy after a little while she arrived at the footing island and as she landed her wings turned into a hooded cape she walked to the grand hall with flies followed her drawn to the stench she saw two students standing there she decided to introduce herself she walked over to them with a smile
“Hi I am Akaneiro it’s nice to meet a few of my new classmates hope we can be good friends” she paused for a second and opened up her basket reviling various tasty treats such as chocolate finger sweat rolls fruity snacks all made which her best ingredients “would you like a snack?”

Beast

Beast had fallen asleep while he was waiting for the head master but was soon woken up by a load parade he sat up and looked around to see what was going on when he saw an arrogant prince putting on a big show that just screamed look at me Beast saw Level rescue a little girl seeing how this ass hole put a little girl in danger for no reason pissted him off he saw how Level gave him a piece of his mind but doubted he had what took to take on the prince especially if he army got involved he got up and walked over to Level he gave him a hard congratulating slap on the back as he did he looked to the prince in the eyes as he said to Level “I got this ass hole” as he did stopped right in front of the prince and stared at him the blood lust in beast eye was unmistakable he wrapped his tail around his neck and began to strangle him
“Don’t know who the fuck you are and honestly I don’t much care all I need to know is that you think you get to walk all over anyone to want just cos ya got money and power you arrogant prick a bastard like you doesn’t deserve to live let alone all the shit you have I think it’s about time someone shows you what it’s like to get pushed around by someone who is superior to you in every way you little shit”
He then punch him in the chest as his tail dropped sending the prince flying back as he coughed up a little blood

Rose

Listened to Shade then looked to Kuro as he pulled out his magic book she was impressed with how big it was wondered what kind of spells it had inside it’s pages she looked back to Shade
“There’s really no need to thank me it was a simple spell and required little energy and honestly it benefits me and the rest of the students here as much as it dose you it would be a problem for all of us if you lost control and went on rampage and a life debt is a serious oath to take especially for such a little thing as crafting runes besides technically speaking you don’t have life to give me”

Lunar

Lunar listened to Red and Ashventri and thought for a moment before responding
“Well in all honesty we are werewolves a creature right out of myths and monsters movies and i personality have met mages and vampires as well so it reasonable to assume other myths and legends are also based in facts and do actually exist and the fact we are at a school for mythical creatures and people with unique abilities kinda means you should of been expecting something like this when you arrived although it is a lot more hectic then I originally imagined I wonder when the head master will show up hopefully before things get to out of hand”

Liana Washington

Meeting Point
Entrance Theme

Liana jumped from tree to tree. While the thorny pines were annoying, she particularly enjoyed running along the canopy from branch to branch. Wearing only a white T-shirt, some tight jeans, a gunbelt and a "tactical" backpack on her persons, the African-American vampire made her way through the canopy on foot, jumping from branch to branch at breakneck speeds. She's already quite late to the meeting, she had been in the area when Peace Sentinel called her for this mission. She was given the details of the mission and the target through coded brochures in her mail, brochures disguised as travel guides to Egypt and the local area that the Ordinary Mythical Academy was situated in. She had gotten the letter of acceptance traditionally through the mail, and while Carmen and Hakeem were hastily scrambled to take on the mission, Mr. Smith also realized that Peace Sentinel always required a Plan B, and thus called in Liana to fill in. Liana didn't have the luxury or the time to get an AI-controlled Black Hawk helicopter to fly her to her destination, nor did Peace Sentinel want to spare the resources to get an AI-controlled C-130 just to drop one person from the back of the plane. Here, Liana had to drive her happy ass to the meeting place, and confirm any targets there.

Soon enough, Liana reached the meeting place, but she made sure that she wasn't seen at first. Hiding within the canopy of trees, she looked upon the field from her new vantage point. Taking out a rangefinder from her gunbelt, the vampire took a nice look at the students who all converged and met here. She couldn't believe her eyes.

Liana did see some odd-looking humans, a few of them looking strange in their choice of clothing, one of them even having this weird shadow cloak type deal going on. There was a floating orb, a blue phoenix, a weird imp-demon thing, a... manticore?, a large dark rabbit monster, a robot, a magical pegasus, several other odd looking animals, and two fucking dragons. Liana gulped and she was already sweating. "Never in my whole life... wow..." The vampire blinked several times, trying to figure out if what she was seeing was true. She took a picture with her rangefinder, and then pulled out her phone, and began texting on an encrypted channel.

Liana put her phone away, and took a moment to get over her shock. After trying to get over the weirdness displayed before her, she pulled out her rangefinder once more and began scouting again. Her eyes widened once her target showed up, Prince Ali Sekhemi himself. Huge parades, large elephants, lots of monkeys, lots of servants, guards and slaves, pushing over a little girl just for him to make a bollywood-style entrance! Oh. My. God. She couldn't even tell if this guy is actively trying to paint a target on his back, or his ego is even bigger than that of Kanye West's. Intel suggests the latter, but after seeing everyone else in the field just now, she doesn't even know what to believe anymore. She heard that Carmen and Hakeem from Galm Team were stationed at the academy already, and she hoped that those poor sods will do okay... especially once they see what Liana sees. She took a picture of her mark, and began texting again.

Liana gave a soft smile a little. Even though she often operated alone, and didn't have much that she'd call friends, it's nice to know that she has people like Mr. Smith and those in Galm Team watching her back. However, at this moment, she's all on her lonesome now, and after packing away her phone and rangefinder, she jumped down from the tree with ease, landing on the ground on her two feet, before strolling up to the group, watching the events unfold before her. As this happened, however, she witnessed the most glorious thing ever. One of the more normal-looking humans slammed his staff into the ground, and the target was suddenly dirty and in loincloths, the slaves looked like nobles, and all of the elephants and monkeys looked like monsters from the Fallout series! Not only that, Sekhemi was already put in a chokehold from what appeared to be the manticore! This was weirder than anything that she experienced in New York! Joining up with the group, she stepped aside so she could see what was happening, before texting again to Mr. Smith.

Liana put her phone away, and just watched the spectacle with awe. The vampire stood there, plain as day, her fangs showing as she had her mouth slightly agape. She looked around and made sure to stay clear of the dragons, hoping that they weren't hungry for chocolate vampires. At least not yet. Seeing that the man with the staff was on the ground, however, she immediately rushed to his aid and tried to help him out. Seeing that he was out cold, she checked on him to make sure he's breathing. After feeling that his heart is beating and that he's indeed breathing, she started doing some rather obscure techniques, using different rubs and compressions to bring him back into the conscious world. She then saw the blood on his head, and gulped a little. She salivated just a little bit at the sight of the blood on Leval's head, but she knew better. She'd feed if he consented. Plain and simple. You're not a monster. She thought to herself as she tried to bring Leval back. "Hey buddy, you okay?" The vampire assassin asked, her voice with the soft hints of kindness and concern.

Epsilons speech in response to his concerned seemed... motivational? Was that the right word? "Thanks... I think? But I'm not sure the whole good thing really applies." Irvine forced another smile, the interaction was not something he was familiar with nor was the act of being something that resembled happiness. But to him smiling seemed a common interaction he had observed others doing so it was possibly something to try and get used to at least. "So, when do you think we'll be able to head up to the academy?"

As Irvine asked it felt somewhat like the ground was off-settled, like someone was shaking it, not so much a quake just a disturbance. That's when he turned to see the parade of animals and people singing as they headed onto the field. Wait they're not all students right?" Irvine asked openly as he looked to see someone riding atop the elephant. He looked again, several different animals, men with rather exotic weapons along with some... not so finely dressed people. "Hey Epsilon, is that guy what people would call a... 'Circus Ring Master'?" Irvine paused for a moment. "If that's a stupid question I've only really seen them from the outside, if at all."

Whoever he was his attitude was pretty rude, not exactly a great way to introduce himself to a potential audience. Not only that but his entrance seemed to have angered some of the other students. One of whom, a spell caster of sorts had made it their own personal objective to completely ruin the display. The animals now looked like they'd been living on the streets for longer than he had, and the tatters wearing people now had nice clothes. The nice clothes person was in tatters, this was all a bit much to witness happen at the same time but it was pretty impressive to watch. Irvine turned towards where the spell seemed to originate clapping his hands, before turning back towards the person that now seemed worse for ware in appearance. He didn't look to happy, if anything he looked angry. Irvine gulped,'Guess that wasn't all just a show' He reaches his hand for a leather pouch at his belt, retrieving the shadow hilt. The rather basic looking sword guard looked like it had been broken off of some ancient weapon. "Uhh, don't worry this looks useless but I swear it does stuff... sometimes."

Rika

Rika, who was still hidden in the corner watching everything, could feel himself losing control as Sekhemi paraded in. Anger rose and Sekhemi was attacked. Rika could feel the hatred build up more and more. He stepped back slowly as he began to breathe heavily. His right eye glowed brightly, and his demon teeth began to come through once more. He spoke in a low demonic tone to everyone.

Stay away from me! Stay away......stay away!

He continued to breath heavily as he looked down to the floor but he couldn't stop. He had to warn everyone to stay away. He needed to warn them for this was a transformation that was impossible to stop. As he sung his demon teeth and the red eye underneath the bandage was clear as day.

Then he heard the demonic voice speak in his head, talking to him and only him. So only Rika could hear it.

"Come on, release me! Let me rip this garbage to shreds. RELEASE ME!

Rika shook his head screaming out loudly. He held on to his head as his bandage was starting to unravel.

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!"

Rika shouted, it was already happening. He could no longer suppress the demon within him. His body began to crack and break, the sounds of bones cracking echoed loudly throughout the field. He screamed loudly in a demonic voice. Soon enough he had transformed completely to his demon self. Everyone would feel the intense feeling of hatred and the intent to kill. Still, the demon wasn’t fully awake, it needed more power. There was not enough hatred to fuel him.

Prince Kuro and Rika

Kuro couldn’t believe Rose was helping Shade, but if it meant Shade would stay tame, he didn’t care. He would deal with him when he had to. Kuro watched as Sekhemi paraded in. He shook his head slowly and then turned to a young boy. He could sense a demonic presence inside of him growing and before long, a demon was on the rampage. He stood up quickly and held out his hands.

“Moon to Sun, night to day. I call upon the holy heavens, the golden skies. Bless this child within-“

Before he could even finish his chant, Rika turned around to face him and swung his tail, if he wasn’t helped he would send Kuro flying back. Yoruichi would use her psychic abilities to create a purple sheet for Kuro to land on.

“Be careful Kuro.”

Rika’s Demon roared loudly, staring at Kuro.

Red

Red watched as Sekhemi came, she laughed loudly at him and even more so as Leval used his magic. Although she watched in horror as a boy transformed into a demon. She could feel it’s hatred and intent to kill. However Serpent quickly spoke up.

“Red, you ssssshal be ssssafe with me. Ussssse your powerssssss Red. Do not be afraid.”

Red looked to him and gave a bright smile with a nod.

“Right.”

She took a deep breath, then suddenly paper began to spray out of her sleeves, creating a small, tight dome around her and Serpent. She sighed and relaxed herself. Here she felt safe.

Shade

Shade watched as Sekhemi parade in. He despised those types of people. He even put Shela in danger because of it. He would of gone over there and taught Sekhemi a lesson if it wasn’t for Leval and Beast doing it already, plus he had more important things to worry about. He looked to Rika before nodding calmly. Slowly he walked up towards him. He stood in front of him, no fear in his eyes.

“I know how it feels to lose control. I know how it feels to hurt others around you and unable to do anything about it. So, that’s why I’m going to stop you.”

Quickly, he jumped at Rika who laughed. He whipped him with his tail but as it hit Shade, he began to cover Rika’s demon with his own body. Shade morphed around Rika until Rika was completely gone from sight. Only blackness remained. Shade was in control now. He forced the demon’s eyes shut and forced it on to it’s knees. Shade was going to force the demon back to sleep using his heartless abilities.

Pozuzy

Pozuzy laughed as he saw chaos unfold. A manticore attacked Sekhemi after Leval did a few magic tricks. He rose in the air slowly, it was time to do his own trick. He held out his hands and strings of illusion shot out. Suddenly the guards and animals held their chests, beginning to have trouble breathing until they fell to their knees, seemingly not breathing.

“You pathetic mortal. You are weak if you need others to protect you. Now, shall we play a game?”

He giggled loudly, obviously the guards and animals were in a state of deep sleep, not actually dead.

Soul and Shela

Soul watched as Sekhemi paraded in. He stared before looking at Rika. It was Sekhemi who was causing all the trouble and despite the beating he had received, he deserved more. He looked to Shela who was almost killed by him and flew towards her. In an instant, he was inside her. Her eyes flashed and widened as Shela let out as small gasp. Slowly she stood herself up and turned to Level and in Shela’s voice, she spoke.

“Shela is fine. Do not fear.”

Shela then turned to Sekhemi and shouted at him.

“Hey, worthless scum! It’s time you find out what happens when you mess with the wrong person. You see, Shela may not believe it, but she has power and it is strong. Strong enough to kick your pathetic ass.”

Sudden Shela threw the Beaver into the air. The toy grew up to 6ft tall. It walked up to Sekhemi as fingers grew on the toy. It grabbed him by the neck and punched him in the gut.

“I have been with Shela for her entire life, I will not let you threaten her.”

The toy then threw Sekhemi into the air and did a spinning kick, sending Sekhemi flying into a tree. Finally the toy walked back and returned to normal size. Shela spoke up loudly.

“You have power, Shela. Use it to protect yourself.”

With that Soul left. Shela gasped loudly before staring at her toy in total shock. Drake stood back, the only thing he was able to get out was ‘wow’

Celestia

Celestia watched as Sekhemi was beaten up as soon as he arrived. Rika was turned to a demon but it was being handled. Celestia quickly ran to Leval and placed a hoof on his chest.

“Do not fear, little one. I am here.”

Suddenly light poured out of her hoof and Leval would feel his injuries healing rapidly while his energy was being restored.

Grace

Grace watched as Sekhemi came, she rolled her eyes but said nothing instead she focused her attention on Rika. She watched with interest and smiled softly. Shade was trying to help. She wondered how different it would of been without those runes. Grace stepped towards Rika and closed her eyes. She used her angelic powers to worm her way into Rika’s mind.

“Sleep Demon. Allow this child to awaken. By the power of God, I command you to rest.”

She smiled, she was helping Rika while still keeping her identity a secret.

Prince Ali Sekhemi

Upon arriving, Sekhemi made several enemies. First was Leval’s trick which he was extremely annoyed about, then he was picked up and punched that hard, he was sent flying back, even coughing up blood. Then all of his guards and animals were killed and he was insulted massively. God damn, this day could not get any worse but before he could say anything a little girl spoke to him like shit. Her fucking toy punched him and sent him flying back again. He coughed up more blood, not even being able to stand. He spoke weakly.

“I will kill you all, I will slaughter your families and make you suffer, you fucking scum! I hate you, I hate you all!”

He coughed up more blood before closing his eyes. He wasn’t dead, just unconscious and very weak.

Miarikia

Miarikia listened to Oshikuru with a soft nod. He was confident but perhaps it was not misplaced. After all she knew Astaroth was very powerful. She opened her mouth to speak when she heard a helicopter. A few minutes later two students walked in. She stared at them before smiling.

“Interesting, this year will be fun. Still, just be careful Oshikuru.”

She smiled at him and then turned back to the new comers. Interesting, there was even a zombie in the school. She could smell her from where she stood. Although she didn’t mind the smell too much. Demons had similar smells, not as bad but it was similar.

@PharaohAtem

Liv Moore

Liv flew up to the Academy using her magic. It didn’t take long to arrive. She went in to the grand hall and a smell hit her nose, so bad she ran to the edge of the island and puked up, sick flew down towards the meeting place below. She walked to the grand hall again, looking around?

“Who died in here? It smells awe....oh.”

Her eyes stopped on the zombie girl. Now that made sense. She walked over to Sky, Akaneiro and the the others, using her magic to place a white barrier around her nose to prevent herself from being sick.

“Hello, I’m Liv Moor, who are all you?”

The squirrel tilted her head, looking at them while waiting for an answer.

Sabrina

Sabrina watched as an arrogant prince arrived with a big show and immediately got his ass kicked by not one not two but three different students although two of them were actually one ass kicking and angered multiple others she watched as Pozuzy cast an illusion spell on his servants after seeing every thing and hearing his threats it was clear he hadn’t learned his lesson Sabrina decided to help out with that she walked over to the prince who could hardly stand at this point her demonic bunny followed close behind her she stood over him and whispered in his ear while pointing Pozuzy
“That is a sin demon who feed on any and all sins wrath is a sin so the angrier you get the stronger you make your enemy but since ya seam hell bent on making enemies allow me to add myself to that list oh and by the I’m a voodoo priestess so I can also draw strength form your sins so do yourself a favour and try to stay calm” as she said this her and her bunnies eyes began to glow as she soaked up all that wonderful anger her and her bunny stood on opposite side of him and both bitch slapped him in the face sending him flying backwards he landed on his back and as he groaned in pain as his eye began to close the vomit from the squeal hit him in the face getting into eyes nose and even in his mouth there was so much even his entire face ended up completely covers in vomit he was so dazed he didn’t have enough strength to spit out the vomit and ended up swallowing a good mouth full as he lay there bleeding on the ground seeing this Sabrina fell to the floor holding her stomach as she laughed so hard it hurt a little

Rose

Watched as the prince angered all the students and one by one they all let him know how they really felt about him she then sensed a dark demonic aura filling the air she tuned to see what was causing it only to find a large demon she saw Kuro try to cast a spell she looked on in confusion ‘why would he use a chant like that what is he thinking’ she began to run over to him it was obvious the demon would not just stand there and let Kuro hit it with a spell like that she saw as the demon swung his tail at him she stood in front of Kuro and held out both her hands as she did a rune for barrier appeared in front of her creating a powerful magic shield around them the tails whip still sent them flying back but they where both unharmed they landed on the soft sheet that his pet had created Rose landed on top of him as she rolled over to get off Kuro she stood up and looked to Kuro and slapped him in the face
“What the hell were you thinking using an incantation against a demon like that it was obvious it would try to stop you are you some kind of moron I swear all those spell at your finger tips all that knowledge and power do you know how many people would kill for information like that and you’re completely wasting it it’s actually disappointing no your not like the rest of us not because you’re royalty but because you seam to lack the ability to think clearly now I understand why to created a Kat to advise you it’s obvious because you are to stupid to to think for yourself it doesn’t matter how powerful a spell is it’s useless if you are killed before you get a chance to cast it” Rose then stormed off to cool off her anger had overwhelmed her to think a all those spells where in the hands of someone who was to stupid to use them correctly

Ash Ventri

Ash tried to hide his nervousness from the other wolf, she didn't seem to yet be aggressive, however, that didn't mean much to him, he was going to respond to her comments before the madness around them began to erupt further, the man on the elephant was attacked by a skeletal monstrosity, and assailed by others, yes, he seemed to be the unpleasant sort however the responses to him seemed unnecessary, at least until he began to truly threaten everyone, their families, then he passed out, this was already more than he had bargained for and culd feel his fear and panic pull him back to the forest.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine." His mothers voice rang clear in his mind, and the thought of home pressed itself forward, he stood in the doorway of his home with his parents smiling, "This will be a hard learned lesson, but, you will come to enjoy yourself, and you will learn so much." his mother was kind and sweet, a witch of great strength, she had told him of the fun and the mischief that goes on at a place like this. His father lead him out of the house and just as they reached the point where they would separate he told him, "Fear will always exist, you will never stop feeling it, but listen well Ash, you will have to stand against fear to protect what is dear to you, and you won't find those experiences here, go on son, take the world as it is or make it better, it won't change until you make it."

Ash saw as red hid beneath her pile of papers, others seemed to be visibly shaken as well, and as much as he wanted to run, his father was right, he had to stand up or he will always run. Ash let his breath out and felt the plates grow and shift until his entire form had become encased in the bone like plates, he felt his energy build in his hands and feet, preparing for whatever altercations may come, at the worst he would run, but his family wants him at this school and no amount of insane myths turned reality would stop that.

Leval Lamrue

@The One@PharaohAtem@AbandonedIntel

"...okay?" Leval was only out for a few moments before someone seemed to wake him up. His eyes opened slowly and his breath was quite ragged. Dazed and confused, Leval did not answer the blurry form in front of him at once. He glanced around, not particularly certain where he was in this exact moment or who seemed to massaging him back into consciousness. He saw a blurry blue ball approach a pink haired girl and then vanish. The girl said something or other to him, but it was half-heard like he was drifting through a dream. A beaver toy seemed to leap up and aggressively snuggle a different person. ['This is an odd dream, not as many mangoes as usual.'/color] Glancing the other way, there was something going on with a demonic being, but then it disappeared back into the dream landscape. Looking back at the female form in front of him, he squinted to try and make out more details. An African-american woman was looking at his forehead torn about something. He reached out with one his hand and patted her arm.

"It's gonna be okay, you will figure it out." He smiled at the increasingly blurry woman. "Also where are the usual mangoes?"

Derailing his dazed comforting/ mango interrogation, a white horse ran up to him and put a hoof on him, saying something. Instantly, Leval shuddered as he felt the wound on his forehead close and heard a loud cracking sound as something in his back set itself back into place. His mind snapped back into focus realizing he was being held by a lovely, older woman and also a he had a Pegasus hoof on his chest. He glanced from the woman, to the Pegasus, to the woman again while his mind ran over recent events remembering details with somewhat more accuracy.

"Umm. Thank you for the help. I can bake you something tasty later? Do either of you know how I ended up here?" Blushing slightly from embarrassment, Leval stood up, limbs moving better than he would have expected. He leaned forward and picked up his dropped staff, as he did one of the memories from his time dazed suddenly became far clearer.

"God damn you Soul! What did I say about possession?" He looked around for the spirit, jaw clenched and knuckles tight on his staff. Rather than seeing the spirit, he saw Sekhemi's battered and badly bleeding form. He looked awful and threatened them all, but Leval couldn't blame the man too harshly given what had just happened to him. Sometimes words were just words, no matter how vile they were. A heavy guilt fell upon his shoulders as he realized that he may have been the cause of this mans misfortune. He had only meant to knock him down a peg, not to make him a target for the rest of the monstrously inclined student body. Another girl, white haired, and a demonic being stood over him and slapped his unconscious form so hard he landed on his back and vomit came from... somewhere. And then the girl laughed.

"Get away from him!" Leval sprinted forward, body newly reinvigorated. He slid to halt before Sekhemi's unconscious body. He pulled off long strips of fabric from his cloak, using one to wipe off the vomit from his face. He used the others to tie off some of some of the bleeding wounds Sekhemi had incurred in his attack.

"Don't you die before the semester ends you ass!" Remembering that healing magic outside his currently smashed butterflies had just performed on him he called over the Pegasus to come assist. He placed his hand close to Sekhemi's nose and cast the illusory scent of smelling salts to wake Sekhemi up.

Yelling at the rest of onlookers, he pointed down at the body. "What the hell did he do deserve to be nearly beaten to death?"

Sigmund

"It's cold up here." said Sigmund O'Welles, to no one who was really listening.

Indeed, despite the thick blanket wrapped around himself (and a generous few drops from his flask), a chill wind seemed to seek every nook and cranny it could dig it's icy fingers into.

It had taken a lot of consideration and a touch of trial and error to even get as far as he had. The old man had told had told him many times that the academy was 'up in the clouds', but Sig had always assumed that was a metaphor. It had at least presented an amusing challenge.

This is how it came to be that he was lashed by a rope around his waist to a padded upholstery chair many hundreds of feet in the sky. The chair was in turn crudely bolted to what appeared to be the repurposed top of a very large dinner table.

The whole slap dash mess was born aloft by roughly a dozen mostly translucent, roughly humanoid figures. They shimmered a pale blue, featureless upper torsos that trailed off into drifting mist at the waist. They floated along with a stately grace, but the blank faces of the specters managed to give the impression of a group of much put upon servants.

The floating pieces of land did cut an impressive figure on their own, but...

"It wouldn't hurt to take a bit more of a look, eh?" He said, but the spirits had no opinion.

He closed his mortal eyes, took a single deep breath, and opened his Third. The islands erupted into a swirling mass of psychedelic colors and shapes. No matter how many times he saw such wondrous things, it always stole his breath for a moment.

A smaller, open area a bit below the academy proper seemed to contain the most dreamy madness. Fantastical beasts, demonic figures, animals and many other strange things seemed to caper and dance in his augmented sight.

It was in a curious, dreamy trance that he floated down until his platform hovered roughly four feet off the ground. He sent a ripple of will to his spectral entourage informing them that their task was complete. They vanished with a tiny sigh of relief, and Sig had a fraction of a moment to realize he had not instructed them to gently put him down. He dropped the last handful of feet and landed with a thud, jarring him out of his trance.

"Lord! What a show." he said, rubbing at his face as he closed his third eye.

He looked up and frowned in mild confusion. Had he not actually closed his sight...? But no, there was the menagerie stood in the flesh in field before him.

He turned to his left to see he had landed not far from a dark skinned young woman.

a cold soul whispered a tiny voice in his mind.
half in, half out murmured another in a disapproving fashion.

"Hello there!" He said, undaunted by the warning spirits. "All that over there is real, isn't that something?"

Sig disentangled himself from the heavy wool blanket and moved to stand up, but the forgotten rope harness tugged around his abdomen and caused him to sit back down hard.

"Piss!" He snapped, and began to fumble at the knots with cold numbed fingers. The dead sailor he had manifested down on the ground had been very helpful for tying the knots, but Sig had left that particular shade behind, and hadn't the foggiest idea how to undo them.

"Say there," he said to the vampire, "would ya be so kind as to cut a poor fellow out of his flying chair?"

Liana Washington

Meeting Point

Liana looked at Leval, and as she tried to massage him back to consciousness, she saw him slowly come back. She smiled a little once he came back, and once he started talking about mangoes, she looked at him confused. "Uhm..." She felt him grab her arm, to which she yiped a little, feeling the salt on his hands. "Ow... ow ow ow!" She whimpered, brushing her arm a little to get rid of the tiny grains of stinging pain. "Dude what the-" She then realized that he was dazed still, and probably didn't think straight. She then saw Celestia, the Pegasus, run up to Leval, and thinking that Celestia was going to trample him, she nearly squeaked and tried to bring her arms up to stop the incoming pegasus. "Woah woah woah!" Liana then calmed down once she realized that the pegasus was indeed sentient, and was only trying to help. Liana watched as Celestia worked her magic and calmly healed Leval back to full strength. "Oh hey... he's back!" Liana smiled. "You okay, man?" She asked, and once he offered them baked goods, she was just about to tell him what happened. "Okay, I'll fill you in on what I saw but I gotta bring you back to safety, the whole place as gone batshit-Hey, wait!" She watched as Leval took off, looking for 'soul'. "Dude, there's fucking demons..." The vampire assassin followed Leval around, trying to stop him from doing anything rash, but failing. However, she also noticed what happened to Sekhemi, and gulped. "Oh shit..." She ran with Leval to Sekhemi.

Liana took a good look at her mark. The man Peace Sentinel contracted for her to kill. The murderer of countless of innocents, destroyer of two whole societies, and threatening to raze a few more to the east, a very rotten man through and through, who has systematically and ruthlessly massacred countless of people, whether they were on his side or not. Liana looked at Sekhemi, and while seeing him in this state was quite satisfying for her, she saw Leval's reaction. The sad truth is, Leval probably doesn't know. Leval probably knows nothing of Sekhemi's crimes against humanity, and here he is, helping him out as if he were any other man. Liana stepped up next to Leval, and began helping him in the process of patching the pharaoh up. Like it or not, Sekhemi had to be kept alive for the first half of Operation Torchsnuff, Mr. Smith explicitly told her to simply feed Command intel for the ongoing coup going on in Egypt, so friendly forces would be able to undertake psychological operations and strike missions with ease, to leave minimal casualties on both sides. Otherwise the coup would be a total bloodbath, and would leave many people dead on all sides. Liana couldn't let that happen, so she helped Leval patch Sekhemi up. If only Leval knew.

The vampire assassin turned to Celestia, and gestured for her to run over. Assuming Celestia came to help them out, Liana looked to her. If Celestia was very observant, she would pick up that Liana knew a whole lot more about this man than anyone else in the meeting area did, but she had her reasons for helping out. Liana patted Celestia in the shoulder and whispered to her. "This man is extremely dangerous... heal him enough so he can survive, but not enough to where he would pose a threat to anyone." Liana whispered to Celestia before looking to Leval.

Once Leval cried out against the others, Liana actually wondered why people did give him such a vicious beatdown. Did they know that he was a murderous tyrant? Leval obviously didn't, but she wondered if the others did. But just in case if the monsters were an angry mob too, she wasn't in the mood for the both of them to be dying for a man such as Sekhemi, so she grabbed Leval's arm in a gentle, non-aggressive fashion, but held him firmly. "Sir, back down." The vampire said softly to Leval, looking at him with pleading eyes. While she was on the verge of using mind control to get him to stand down, she wanted to appeal to words instead... considering that he was hellbent on getting some spirit thing for possessing someone apparently. She wasn't in the mood for making enemies on the first day of school, and she could certainly use an ally like him. "Listen, I understand how you feel. I also kind of want to know about what caused everyone to attack this man on sight, but right now isn't a good time to be bullseye for an angry mob. We need to get to safety until the headmaster shows up." Liana said, putting her hand on her holstered handgun. "I'll explain what I can when we're safe."

"C'mon, buddy..." She gestured for him to follow him out of the fray, and she soon made her way out from the area, heading towards the treeline. As soon as she turned around to see if Leval was following her, she heard a loud *THUNK!* behind her, causing her to turn around and immediately draw her pistol, taking aim. She lowered her gun once she realized that it was simply a strange-looking man strapped to a chair that's strapped to a flat wooden surface that just crashed into the ground by the treeline, she blinked a few times in confusion. "What the fuck is my life..." She whispered to herself before holstering her CZ-75, standing there before the dazed man caught sight of her. Once he called over to her, she waved back at him, walking closer to investigate who this is and what the hell just happened.

She approached him slowly, squinting her eyes at him before determining that he wasn't presently a threat. She saw him try to free himself from the chair, and once he asked for help, she nodded. "Sure thing." She rushed to his aid, and her fingernails immediately turned into sharp black vampire claws. "Hold still, hon." She said softly, and she used her sharp claws to cut the rope off with ease. Once the man was freed, she retracted her claws, and stood there. "Name's Liana... by the way. You're here for the academy, right?" She asked, before turning around briefly, checking to see if Leval followed her.

Carmen Chavana and Hakeem Ansari

Grand Hall

Carmen and Hakeem were just minding their own business, when a *THWAP!* and a *SCHWOOM!* sounded, and all within less than a second, Carmen was standing in front of Sky, holding the kunai curiously. While Hakeem nearly drew his gun and enabled his telekinesis, Carmen was looking at the kunai and the note. Carmen looked to Sky and smirked a little. "That's a rather... weird way to say 'what's up'. A simple 'hai' would've done." Carmen said with a chuckle. While Carmen had the reflexes to catch the blade, she also had the reflexes to know that it wasn't really thrown at her with hostile intent. Carmen looked to Sky, handing her kunai back. "Name's Carmen." She said, using her other hand to gently remind Hakeem to stand down, and stand down he did. "The homie behind me is Hakeem."

Hakeem could've sworn that the both of them were under attack as soon as they stepped foot into the academy (which wouldn't be surprising, being shot on sight is kind of normal for their line of work), but realizing that it was just shenanigans, Hakeem sighed. Fucking kids... He shook his head before the doors opened. He turned to the source, and noticed... a zombie girl? Hakeem blinked, and her awful stench confirmed it. She was definitely a zombie. Once she approached him, though, with a basked full of treats, he listened as she introduced herself, wafting away her awful smell of death... one that he was quite familiar with. "Hey Akaneiro... I'm Hakeem." He feigned a smile, and once she offered some treats, the stench was more than enough to turn him off from eating anything right now. "I'll pass... I already ate." He said, on the verge of throwing up what he had already ate. Those were perfectly good burgers too... He thought to himself, before his mind wandered to burgers being made of that awful stench. Yeah, he couldn't take it. "I appreciate... *cough* the thought."

Once the sapient squirrel arrived and walked through the door that was about to close, a rather unique-looking North American squirrel that can talk. Once she introduced herself as Liv Moore, both Hakeem and Carmen waved weakly to her, a little weirded out by this turn of events. A zombie girl and a sapient squirrel? What the fuck did Mr. Smith get them into this time?

Hakeem turned to Carmen and gave her a knowing look that shouted Mr. Smith owes me so much Skittles right now you have no clue! He was still getting over the shock of the zombie girl and the sapient squirrel, and Carmen, however, saw all of this for the first time. It was easier on Hakeem since he was a little familiar with mythological creatures, but for the poor and almost uneducated Carmen, she was nearly freaking out.

"Oh god..." Carmen gulped, seeing them both. "Uh..." She tried to compose herself to the best of her ability, using her reflex abilities to give herself much more time to think, to process information much faster. Within seconds, she went through an entire phase of shock, and she took several deep breaths. "I'm okay.... I'm okay. Uhm.. ah... I'm Carmen... and this is Hakeem." She said, introducing the both of them, her voice shaking a little with shock still.

Hakeem blinked several times, stepping closer to Carmen. "Please forgive us... ma'am and ma'am... we aren't very much exposed to new... cultures, for lack of a better term." The Arab apologized for himself and his Hispanic friend, trying to excuse their odd behavior the best they could. He then turned to Carmen and angrily mouthed 'Save this for the report!', to which Carmen nodded, gulping and getting herself together.

This is one hell of an adventure indeed.

Sigmund

Sig popped up out of the chair and made a long, luxurious stretch. The chair had seemed like the most comfortable option at the time, but he'd spent two long hours in it getting his bearings. The knots in his back unkinked as he let out a low groan.

Feeling a bit less tense, he turned to regard his savior more thoroughly. She seemed young, perhaps it was possible she was as young as her looks implied. Sigil felt it likely she was much older: he could sense death on her, registering to his senses like a cold and dry wind.

"Sigmund!" He said cheerfully. "My name, that is. Though you should call me Sig. Sigmund sounds like a sea monster, which I am... Not?"

He trailed off, his eyes glazing slightly and fixing on a point in the distance. Had he ever attempted to breathe underwater?

"No, of course not." He murmured, though not with much conviction. His gaze continued to drift idly across the field before them. Enormous shapes and twisted beings stood amongst smaller human ones. He had a knack for taking the surreal in stride, but he had to admit to himself that the dragons made him uneasy.

The focal point seemed to be on the bloodied young man now prostrate upon the ground.

thumped him like a rented mule, whispered a spirit.
had it coming too, added another.

Sig was doubtful. Spirits could be petulant things, and rarely told the whole truth. Still, the poor guy must have done something heinous to have gained the enmity of so many so swiftly.

"Yes... What do roosters do, but establish pecking order?" He muttered, then his eyes abruptly refocused on Liana.

"Yes! I am here for the Academy. I take it these..." He made a vague gesture towards the assembled group, attempting to find the right word as 'people' would have been quite insufficient. "...motley individuals are here for much the same? Are you?"

He leaned in a bit, taking a closet look at her.

more than she seems, tattled a ghost, saw her watching.

"But you strike me as someone who knows secrets, yes?" He said with a sly grin. "It's quite alright, I don't need your secrets. I have enough of my own."

He jolted suddenly, as though a weighty realization had just struck him. He jabbed a finger towards the dragons.

"Holy Hell, how do you suppose they'll get them through the doors?"

As insane as this new environment was, it was full of entertainment and that was enough for him. Intense emotion was what fueled glamour, these people were already proving to let off a lot of that. He could almost breathe in the static of emotion that was sparking around the clearing. He loved it. Not only were these people entertaining but they were helping him build up enough glamour to patch up some of his flesh.

He focused on his skin threading together along his finger, happy to know that his human form wouldn't start shucking flesh off any time soon. He was starting to grow restless though, standing about didn't suit him. He wondered when they'd finally be escorted to their new school in the sky, he had a growing urge to seek out his new dorm and take a breather.

Though, this field of absolute insanity had brought him to Dawn. He found that he appreciated it for that at least, she was an interesting companion and he had quickly grown fond of her. He hoped that they would continue to talk while they attended the university together. "I actually think I'm going to like this place," he said. "Lots of emotion, lots of glamour. It's sort of like a dream."

His excitement was sparked as someone started wailing on the prince. It probably wasn't the best thing to get excited about but the influx of rage and pain was inticing. Despite his pleasantries, he was a kelpie at heart and the idea of watching the prince possibly die on the ground was appealing. For the sake of his nice company, he tried not to stare for too long.

He wrenched his gaze away, "What are you coming to learn more about at the academy? I'm wanting to learn water manipulation. Kelpies are born with a sort of inherent knowledge of shape-shifting, though I don't know everything. My forms are often unstable, as one can tell with all the uh dying."

“Nah.” Epsilon waved her hand a little, as if physically brushing the words away. “You don’t have to be a saint to be ‘good’, kiddo. Just being decent can make you good a lot of the time.” Irvine’s attempt at a smile looked a bit...odd. Definitely forced. Like he was trying to get psyched about licking a cockroach on live TV for twenty bucks, but really wasn’t feeling it deep down in his guts. Epsilon shook some of the ash from her cigarette end, and, with the thought in mind, put the cigar back to her lips for another hit. “Hopefully it won’t take an hour or anything. Get the feeling if they let us all be for that long, then the whole place’ll just end up as a good and well bloodbath before they even get in spitting distance of the place-”

Without warning, she abruptly froze up. She reeled backwards, mouth open in a silent gasp, hands shuddering a little. The cigar slipped between her fingers, landing unceremoniously on the ground. If she had been entirely cognizant, Epsilon would have seen Prince Ali parade his in, all huffy and with his panties firmly in a bunch. However, at the moment, the only thing she was aware of was the sheer rush of power, of sin that had flooded into her body. Wrath, Pride, Greed...Three out of the golden seven, shooting her up with enough energy to put the finest crack to shame. She swallowed thickly, hit by wave after wave as the Prince’s appearance sent a little ripple effect throughout the field, but eventually managed to pull herself back together again.

Epsilon’s hands were still trembling, making it a struggle to get a new smoke and relight it, but her voice was steady as she turned to reply to Irvine. “Doubt it, kid. Seems like he’s just trying to overcompensate for something vital downstairs, there.” She licked her lips, took a long drag, then let it go with a soft and emphatic “fuck”.

“He’s a royal jackass, that’s what he is.”

After a few moments of just smoking and recollecting herself, she came to realize that things were pretty much teetering on the brink of a fight, here. Epsilon glanced over to Irvine, brow raised in the same casual manner as if she had walked into a pub.

“What’d I miss, anyway?”

Dawn had predicted that things would get even more exciting.

She wasn’t at all pleased to find out that she had been entirely and utterly right.

The illusionist was knocked out by one of the more...unique students who had been hanging about, only to be attended to just as quickly by Celestia and a stranger who had suddenly appeared in the midst of all the chaos. A young boy turned into a demon, and before Dawn even had the chance to react, multiple students had already gone to try and bring him back under control. There was screaming, panic, possession (yet again, much to her annoyance) and the entire army up and passing out (it was only through her power that she knew that their hearts still beat). In short and in summary, it was a complete and utter mess, and Dawn found her head thrumming with the amount of frantic activity that had broke out with so little warning.

She found herself standing in front of Isaiah, almost protectively- even with the fact that her body was nowhere near large enough to actually shield him. One arm half-held out, the other at her side, near her pistol. When it seemed like the worst of the danger had passed, her arm lowered, although the tension that had worked its way into her shoulders refused to pass.

Dawn forced herself to take a deep breath, and release it. She managed a somewhat weak smile at Isaiah’s glee, stepping back to his side once more. “It’s, ah. Certainly not going to be boring, that’s for sure.”

She shut her eyes a moment, attempting to send out waves of soothing psychic energy throughout the field. It wasn’t a full on push for everyone to suddenly become calm, but more of...a comforting sort of feeling. Very clearly an outside influence, yes, but akin to that of a warm cafe, or a well-worn armchair. An attempt to disarm some of the worst of the tension. Then Dawn’s eyes opened again, and she slumped a little, idly adjusting her hat with one hand.

“Well. I was hoping to refine my shadow magics, myself. I’ve picked up a few tricks through the years, but, ah. You can never learn too much.” Dawn smiled again, a bit less tired this time. “My psychic abilities could use a bit of a touch-up as well, but, um. Not as much. thankfully. That’s inherent for my own bloodline.” The Memolis had spent centuries refining it. Marrying into families with psychic ability, or even strong potential. The results for the, most part, was an entire brood of psychically inclined mages- something they believed to be their greatest asset.

And a rather hefty amount of pride in the “family lines”. Unfortunately.

“You’ve ah, been doing an excellent job at keeping your form stable, all things considered. From what I’ve heard, it isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do.” Dawn gave a bit of a nod. “I’m, ah, sure you’ll be a master of it in no time at all.”

Drumdawn

Drumdawn watched as another Dragon came and greeted him. He smiled brightly before nodding his head towards him.

“Greetings, I am Drumdawn.”

As he finished speaking, Drumdawn turned his attention to Sekhemi who got pretty badly beaten. He didn’t know what the human did, but whatever it was, it angered a lot of people. Drumdawn then looked to Rika who transformed into a demon luckily however, it was quickly being sorted by a few students. He smiled before turning back to the Dragon.

Winter

Winter watched as another Dragon came. Like Drumdawn, she bowed her head in greetings to him before speaking.

“Greetings, I am Winter. It’s lovely to meet you.”

She smiled then turned to face Sekhemi. She lifted her wings, ready to help Shela but someone beat her to it. Sekhemi got a little beat because of his entrance and she couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for him. Afterwards, Rika transformed into a Demon. She smiled, seeing how it was quickly put under control by the other students.

Leval Lamrue

@The One@AbandonedIntel@Oooie

The woman had roused him back from unconsciousness and had helped him bandage Sekhemi’s wounds gripped his arm and warned to back off his current course of action. Strangely, despite being older than himself, she also called him “Sir.” Leval looked over the woman a little more carefully, she carried herself well, putting a hand on her holstered gun as she gave an emotional appeal to him to move to a safer location. ’I’m not sure why I didn’t expect guns at this academy, they seem practical. She seems like some kind of bodyguard.’ Her words got through to him though and he decided to follow her lead, besides he owed her quite a bit.

As he walked off, he kept his eyes peeled for Soul, but did not see him at the moment. Either his form was so small he was blocked from his sight by the bodies of the other students, or he had vanished like he had snuck up upon Leval in their first meeting. ’I need to talk to someone who knows about these kinds of beings.’ Directly after that thought, he noticed the figure who had drifted down from the sky in a chair. Even more interesting was the way his protectors fingernails into sharp black claws. Leval was not particularly surprised by this feat, but only because the amount of shock he had gone through today had temporarily burnt out that emotion.

He listened to their conversation learning their names, Sig and Liana, Sig seemed to be quite a character and Leval found himself liking him quickly. When Sig questioned how some of the creatures would fit through the door though Leval couldn’t help but laugh out loud. He could feel his anger dwindling down, ready for the next time he saw Soul but not required for this moment.

”You know, I have been asking myself the same question. My name is Leval Lamrue by the way.” He looked to Liana, giving her a deep nod of respect. “Thank you for your help by the way. I truly appreciate it. I owe you one.”

He turned around and called out to Shela. ”Are you alright?”

Liana Washington

Meeting Point, by the trees

Liana was relieved once she saw that Leval never left her side, having followed her to a much more safe area that's out of eyesight and out of earshot from the rest of the crowd... well... mostly. Liana was trying to make sure that they wouldn't be targets of anyone's harassment, or worse, violent outbursts. She doesn't want to have to shoot anyone before school even started. Once she saw that Leval was by her side, she smiled a little to him before turning back to Sig, who was currently stretching himself out.

Once Sigmund revealed his name, and his shorthand version Sig, Liana smirked. "Sig? As in Sig Sauer?" Liana smiled a little, name-dropping the Swiss-German firearms manufacturer. "A pleasure to meet you." She noticed him trailing off on a tangent, before he returned back to them. Once he mentioned 'pecking order', with his gaze on her mark Sekhemi, Liana looked uncomfortably back to Sig. "Things... happened. We patched him up, though."

Once she realized that he was indeed here for the academy, she smiled and nodded. "Yeah, we're all here for the Academy. For better or for worse." Once he leaned in and took a closer look at her, Liana gave a slightly puzzled look. "Do I have something in my teeth?" The vampire asked, revealing her fangs once more. "I hope not... huh?" For some reason, Sig knew she had secrets? Can he read minds? Once he laughed it off, saying that he has plenty of his own, she had a small sigh of relief, knowing her cover wasn't going to be blown just yet. "Hahah... yeah..." Liana laughed nervously with him.

Sig then pointed to the dragons, asking how they will fit through the doors. She heard Leval laugh about it, and Liana squinted a little at them. "I... I don't know. To be honest with you. But like... they mentioned a 'grand hall' so I assume they have... grand doors to make up for it...?" Liana shrugged. "Hell if I know. I'm trying my best to make them the least of my problems."

She turned to Leval, who then revealed his name. "It's a shame I didn't ask for it earlier." Liana said with a friendly smile. "I'm Liana Washington, if you didn't catch it earlier." Once Leval turned to her and gave her a sincere thank you, Liana simply shook her head with a grin of her own. "Hon, that one's on the house. The only time you'd owe me is if you did something stupid." She turned to her mark's beat up body. "You did the right thing, but... I promised an explanation."

Just in case if she was far out of earshot from Sekhemi and the others, she spoke to Sig and Leval. "That man..." She pointed towards Sekhemi casually, speaking quietly so the others won't hear. "That dude's a tinpot tyrant, with all kinds of war crimes tallied up on his sheet. Oppressive, murderous, enough to make Hitler blush." The vampire said with a serious look on her face. "That rude reeks of evil. Just be glad that he was in that state when we ran to him." Liana said with a soft sigh. "Yeah, I don't know what caused everyone to attack him on sight like that, I just got here when it happened, but... lets just say he had it coming." Liana thought for a moment before speaking again. "So... I suggest you both steer clear of him the next time you see him. Either we might end up being his targets, or targets of his opponents so, yeah."

If she was asked how she knew all of this, she would reply. "Buzzfeed's Top Ten Tyrants." She joked. "Seriously, he was all over the news from time to time. From when he fucked up Sudan to when he ravaged Libya. It's like Suddam Hussein all over again, but this time no one's intervening." She lied about the last part, given that she herself was part of Peace Sentinel's intervention. "Got curious, found out all kinds of shit about him. Not to mention one of my friends has a... firsthand experience of his brutality." Liana half-truthed. "Again...He's evil... but he's also unpredictable. Try to stay clear of him."

"Royalty?" Irvine found himself asking as he looked at the unconscious person laying on the ground. Irvine had thought royalty were supposed to be quite powerful, this did not match what he'd just seen however as the man had received a rather thorough 'beat down' by some of the other students. "I'm not entirely sure... that was over faster than I originally could have imagined." There was almost a hint of disappointment in his voice as Irvine slid the shadow hilt back into its pouch. "Guess I won't be needing this after all."

Irvine watch as the person who had initially humiliated the man rushed to his aid following the beating. "Such odd behaviour, I don't get it." Irvine comments as he watches this person shout out at those that had ganged up on this unconscious royal. "Why can't people stick to their original intent? So much mind changing all the time..." Irvine would of potentially ranted on further but Leval was soon taken away from the royal by another student, leaving another student to deal with the wounded Sekhemi.

"Well I'd say this morning has been pretty eventful huh?" Irvine asks as his eyes grow wide as he sees something different in the distance. "Where did... what the hell is that?" Irvine asked as he pointed over at Rika, Irvine was pretty sure there was a more 'normal' looking student there before but what he was seeing now, that wasn't there before. "That sort of like you? You know, the whole shape changing thing?" Irvine rubbed his head before sitting on the ground. "You know what, I think this is about as much excitement as I could possibly handle within this small span of time. Whatever that is, so long as it's staying over there... I'm just gonna sit here." Irvine's shadow hood fades as a straight layer forms behind his back allowing him to rest against it.

"It is a pleasure to meet both of you," Zalek said to Drumdawn and Winter, then turned to see what the ruckus was all about, but by the time he turned around, whatever happened seemed to already be over. "Um, what just happened there?" he asked his two companions, gesturing with one of his forelimbs toward the vicinity unconscious prince and the other chaos that had briefly erupted because of the pompous ruler.

Sigmund

He laughed heartily at the connection she made with his name.

"Yes! Just like that. I have also been known to spit hot lead, though I'm sure much less efficient."

Sig nodded thoughtfully at her statements about the grand hall. Yes, it made a certain amount sense... Surely this year was not an anomaly in terms of strangeness of its student body. If you expected dragons, it was generally wise to plan ahead. Whether it's combat, or architecture.

"A grand hall... A grandios hall. It must be tremendous." A frown creased his brow. "Damn! I shold've been more careful with the flying rig. I could have sailed in like the Flying Dutchman."

Oh well. He thought. There will be more opportunities for jackassery.

Sig turned to face the other young man as he approached. He took a very serious expression as he looked him up and down. The fellow had a certain 'fish out of water' characteristic that endeared him to Sig almost immediately. He had a soft spot for people as confused as he frequently was. But more importantly that that...

Sig reached out a hand and clasped Leval's forearm.

"You." He said softly. "You're the one who went to help that man that everyone was thumping on. Didn't hesitate, did you?"

Sig released him and smiled. "That was a very good thing to do. My name is Sig, and I'm glad to meet you."

Hearing Liana's description of brought him up short. A mad tyrant? Here at the academy, like any other student? It would beggar belief if Sig had not seen multiple dragons in attendance as well.

I suppose I floated in out of the clouds myself on an armchair Sig thought.

we carried you, ass muttered a sullen spirit

"You do indeed know secrets." He said to Liana. "But I'll say I don't intend to stear clear of anyone, least of all a puffed up ass with a case of megalomania."

Sig stared up at the landmass floating serenely above them. How on earth did it get up there...? How many spirits might he need to lift such a weight.

DON'T GET IDEAS several voices spoke at once.

"My first foray into levitation was a rousing success." he said in a low voice to no one at all, as it might appear to an observer.

"Seeing as we're all here for the same thing..." Sig began, more clearly speaking to the rest of them. "Would all of you like to head up? The action seems to have settled, and if what you say is true, maybe we should put some distance between as and Tutankhamun over there."

Sig cast a remorseful look towards his ill-fated flying chair.

"If anyone knows how we're meant to get up there, that is."
