Liana Washington
Meeting Point Liana looked at Leval, and as she tried to massage him back to consciousness, she saw him slowly come back. She smiled a little once he came back, and once he started talking about mangoes, she looked at him confused.
"Uhm..." She felt him grab her arm, to which she yiped a little, feeling the salt on his hands.
"Ow... ow ow ow!" She whimpered, brushing her arm a little to get rid of the tiny grains of stinging pain.
"Dude what the-" She then realized that he was dazed still, and probably didn't think straight. She then saw Celestia, the Pegasus, run up to Leval, and thinking that Celestia was going to trample him, she nearly squeaked and tried to bring her arms up to stop the incoming pegasus.
"Woah woah woah!" Liana then calmed down once she realized that the pegasus was indeed sentient, and was only trying to help. Liana watched as Celestia worked her magic and calmly healed Leval back to full strength.
"Oh hey... he's back!" Liana smiled.
"You okay, man?" She asked, and once he offered them baked goods, she was just about to tell him what happened.
"Okay, I'll fill you in on what I saw but I gotta bring you back to safety, the whole place as gone batshit-Hey, wait!" She watched as Leval took off, looking for 'soul'.
"Dude, there's fucking demons..." The vampire assassin followed Leval around, trying to stop him from doing anything rash, but failing. However, she also noticed what happened to Sekhemi, and gulped.
"Oh shit..." She ran with Leval to Sekhemi.
Liana took a good look at her mark. The man Peace Sentinel contracted for her to kill. The murderer of countless of innocents, destroyer of two whole societies, and threatening to raze a few more to the east, a very rotten man through and through, who has systematically and ruthlessly massacred countless of people, whether they were on his side or not. Liana looked at Sekhemi, and while seeing him in this state was quite satisfying for her, she saw Leval's reaction. The sad truth is,
Leval probably doesn't know. Leval probably knows nothing of Sekhemi's crimes against humanity, and here he is, helping him out as if he were any other man. Liana stepped up next to Leval, and began helping him in the process of patching the pharaoh up. Like it or not, Sekhemi
had to be kept alive for the first half of Operation Torchsnuff, Mr. Smith explicitly told her to simply feed Command intel for the ongoing coup going on in Egypt, so friendly forces would be able to undertake psychological operations and strike missions with ease, to leave minimal casualties on both sides. Otherwise the coup would be a total bloodbath, and would leave many people dead on all sides. Liana couldn't let that happen, so she helped Leval patch Sekhemi up. If only Leval knew.
The vampire assassin turned to Celestia, and gestured for her to run over. Assuming Celestia came to help them out, Liana looked to her. If Celestia was very observant, she would pick up that Liana knew a
whole lot more about this man than anyone else in the meeting area did, but she had her reasons for helping out. Liana patted Celestia in the shoulder and whispered to her.
"This man is extremely dangerous... heal him enough so he can survive, but not enough to where he would pose a threat to anyone." Liana whispered to Celestia before looking to Leval.
Once Leval cried out against the others, Liana actually wondered why people did give him such a vicious beatdown. Did they know that he was a murderous tyrant? Leval obviously didn't, but she wondered if the others did. But just in case if the monsters were an angry mob too, she wasn't in the mood for the both of them to be dying for a man such as Sekhemi, so she grabbed Leval's arm in a gentle, non-aggressive fashion, but held him firmly.
"Sir, back down." The vampire said softly to Leval, looking at him with pleading eyes. While she was on the verge of using mind control to get him to stand down, she wanted to appeal to words instead... considering that he was hellbent on getting some spirit thing for possessing someone apparently. She wasn't in the mood for making enemies on the first day of school, and she could certainly use an ally like him.
"Listen, I understand how you feel. I also kind of want to know about what caused everyone to attack this man on sight, but right now isn't a good time to be bullseye for an angry mob. We need to get to safety until the headmaster shows up." Liana said, putting her hand on her holstered handgun.
"I'll explain what I can when we're safe." "C'mon, buddy..." She gestured for him to follow him out of the fray, and she soon made her way out from the area, heading towards the treeline. As soon as she turned around to see if Leval was following her, she heard a loud
*THUNK!* behind her, causing her to turn around and immediately draw her pistol, taking aim. She lowered her gun once she realized that it was simply a strange-looking man strapped to a chair that's strapped to a flat wooden surface that just
crashed into the ground by the treeline, she blinked a few times in confusion.
"What the fuck is my life..." She whispered to herself before holstering her CZ-75, standing there before the dazed man caught sight of her. Once he called over to her, she waved back at him, walking closer to investigate who this is and what the hell just happened.
She approached him slowly, squinting her eyes at him before determining that he wasn't presently a threat. She saw him try to free himself from the chair, and once he asked for help, she nodded.
"Sure thing." She rushed to his aid, and her fingernails immediately turned into sharp black vampire claws.
"Hold still, hon." She said softly, and she used her sharp claws to cut the rope off with ease. Once the man was freed, she retracted her claws, and stood there.
"Name's Liana... by the way. You're here for the academy, right?" She asked, before turning around briefly, checking to see if Leval followed her.
Carmen Chavana and Hakeem Ansari
Grand Hall Carmen and Hakeem were just minding their own business, when a
*THWAP!* and a
*SCHWOOM!* sounded, and all within less than a second, Carmen was standing in front of Sky, holding the kunai curiously. While Hakeem nearly drew his gun and enabled his telekinesis, Carmen was looking at the kunai and the note. Carmen looked to Sky and smirked a little.
"That's a rather... weird way to say 'what's up'. A simple 'hai' would've done." Carmen said with a chuckle. While Carmen had the reflexes to catch the blade, she also had the reflexes to know that it wasn't really thrown at her with hostile intent. Carmen looked to Sky, handing her kunai back.
"Name's Carmen." She said, using her other hand to gently remind Hakeem to stand down, and stand down he did.
"The homie behind me is Hakeem." Hakeem could've sworn that the both of them were under attack as soon as they stepped foot into the academy (which wouldn't be surprising, being shot on sight is kind of normal for their line of work), but realizing that it was just shenanigans, Hakeem sighed.
Fucking kids... He shook his head before the doors opened. He turned to the source, and noticed...
a zombie girl? Hakeem blinked, and her awful stench confirmed it. She was definitely a zombie. Once she approached him, though, with a basked full of treats, he listened as she introduced herself, wafting away her awful smell of death... one that he was quite familiar with.
"Hey Akaneiro... I'm Hakeem." He feigned a smile, and once she offered some treats, the stench was more than enough to turn him off from eating anything right now.
"I'll pass... I already ate." He said, on the verge of throwing up what he had already ate.
Those were perfectly good burgers too... He thought to himself, before his mind wandered to burgers being made of that awful stench. Yeah, he couldn't take it.
"I appreciate... *cough* the thought." Once the sapient squirrel arrived and walked through the door that was about to close, a rather unique-looking North American squirrel that
can talk. Once she introduced herself as Liv Moore, both Hakeem and Carmen waved weakly to her, a little weirded out by this turn of events. A
zombie girl and a
sapient squirrel? What the fuck did Mr. Smith get them into this time?
Hakeem turned to Carmen and gave her a knowing look that shouted
Mr. Smith owes me so much Skittles right now you have no clue! He was still getting over the shock of the zombie girl and the sapient squirrel, and Carmen, however, saw all of this for the first time. It was easier on Hakeem since he was a little familiar with mythological creatures, but for the poor and almost uneducated Carmen, she was nearly freaking out.
"Oh god..." Carmen gulped, seeing them both.
"Uh..." She tried to compose herself to the best of her ability, using her reflex abilities to give herself much more time to think, to process information much faster. Within seconds, she went through an entire phase of shock, and she took several deep breaths.
"I'm okay.... I'm okay. Uhm.. ah... I'm Carmen... and this is Hakeem." She said, introducing the both of them, her voice shaking a little with shock still.
Hakeem blinked several times, stepping closer to Carmen.
"Please forgive us... ma'am and ma'am... we aren't very much exposed to new... cultures, for lack of a better term." The Arab apologized for himself and his Hispanic friend, trying to excuse their odd behavior the best they could. He then turned to Carmen and angrily mouthed
'Save this for the report!', to which Carmen nodded, gulping and getting herself together.
This is one hell of an adventure indeed.
