Andras

The situation escalated a little more than Andras would have liked - but at the same time, it was likely that this Galbrek may have done something worse than causing a scene. Either way, he seemed to be indisposed thanks to Vernon.

Andras looked towards the man who was currently summoning a ball of energy in his hands. Though she brandished her spells for dramatic effect, she also knew that she didn't have much in the way of useful spells at the time. Whoever this new face was, he and a few others seemed to be working with Galbrek. The situation seemed to be a bit of a standoff.

Andras nodded at Ascot's suggestion, keeping her eyes on Galbrek's helpers. "Good idea, William. Let's go... Eat." She emphasized her words, showing to Bertrand that she was going to leave and not try to attack him. She took a few steps back, not turning away from Galbrek's minions. "Masami, I don't suppose you'd come with us too?" Andras gave a somewhat strained smile.

Lise

Lise let Andreim put the pair of pants on her. She wasn't particularly used to wearing pants, but they were a little large on her anyway, so it wasn't really uncomfortable. As Andreim scooped her up, she clung to him without thinking, her eyes firmly closed. She was just glad that she was being taken out of the nightmare scenario from the other room.

She didn't open her eyes until she felt fresh air on her face. Standing outside of the building, the first thing she opened her eyes to was the stars... And Andreim's face. Despite being clear of the situation, Lise's heart didn't stop thumping. If anything, the current situation seemed to make things worse. 'Could it be that... He's the one making me feel like this?!'

Lise shook her head a little. Though her heart was still racing, it was definitely different than when she was in the presence of the ghost and... flesh monster. She couldn't dwell on it all here. As she regained control of her thoughts, she became more and more aware that Andreim was carrying her. "You can let me down now!" Lise said, slowly regaining her normal princess confidence.

Michael Angie

Michael tsked at the opposing tentacles that rose up to intercept his. Michael's Trap Art had the numbers advantage, but Gilliam's could react faster and were smarter, allowing them to quickly take down Michael's tentacles and dismantle his Trap Art. To make matters worse, Vittorio retaliated with his own attack. "Shit!" Michael swore while turning and leaping away from the incoming rubble. The rubble had narrowly missed him, and Michael roughly landed on the ground, rolling a bit before recovering and getting back up.

Alto was now dealing with Gilliam, which Michael appreciated, and he took this time to analyze the situation. Lise and Andriem were no help. Alexander continued to deal with Vittorio, who was powering up for the fight. Gilliam was also getting ready for something, his body expanding. Michael, fearing another intervention from Gilliam, decided that the best possible course of action right now was to prevent that monster from supporting Vittorio. Michael rushed back into the fight and began drawing up another Trap Art, drawing up two circles, one within the other. Just as Gilliam unleashed his rain of acid, Michael activated his Trap. A dark-film barrier began to form from the ground up, enclosing Vittorio, Alexander, and Michael. The acid splattered harmlessly on the barrier at first, but it soon began eating away at it.

Perhaps that should've been a sign to Michael, because he was still underneath it when the Trap Art barrier expired. Realizing he was in trouble, Michael scrambled to get out of the way, but he was slow to react, and was soon covered in it. At first there was nothing, and Michael thought he was fine, but then the burning kicked in. "Ahh, jeez!" Michael yelled out as he tried to brush it off with his hands. "This frikin' burns!"

The monster... is here.

It would seem the past had a way of catching up when you least expected, but perhaps it was just as much for the people involved as it was for him. It had been long ago, he had beaten the monster back with his blade. He appeared again now, but under very different circumstances. He was on a side now, and he was fighting as an ally to Vittorio.

An enemy, but Alto would've liked to know to what extent. He clearly wasn't eager to see Alto again, and under normal circumstances he probably would be avoiding him, but for now he was another combatant to fight.

He activated God Speed Flash as the rain came down, sliding under it before it could reach with a blinding flash of light. He appeared at Gilliam's side and swung as the last vestiges of God Speed wore off.

Masami was worried that the current situation would become one that would require more violence. She was about to try and talk her and her new acquaintances out of it, when Galbrek began speaking directly to this "Vernon", but was soon seemingly interrupted by his own inability to move.
He just...fell over.

One of the people who looked to be accompanying him shouted, and caught him before he fell. Another one, this one much smaller, then began channeling a dark energy into her hands. "Oh...this escalated quickly." Masami thought. "But at least we outnumber them four to-"

Her thought was interrupted by a shout coming across the park. "You better stop that! We would hate having to hurt you!" The man yelled, taking a silly action pose like you saw in the movies, while another girl stood beside him, with a grave expression. "-four.." The stupid pose didn't mean they weren't dangerous.

"No need to get hostile now!" she shouted to the dolls both closer and farther from them as she backed towards Andras and William. "Your "Master" was just being a bit too aggressive. But we'll be leaving now, maybe some other time! she exclaimed.

She was now directly beside Andras. "Good idea. Let's get out of here. she said as she continued to back up, turning her head towards the girl. Masami didn't know exactly how much juice the card-slinger had remaining, but it probably wasn't enough to get this fight over with. She hadn't known William's or Vernon's powers, but even so, they were essentially outnumbered if Andras was too tired to fight. Their would-be opponents were seemingly unhindered by fatigue at the moment.

Michael? Aram looked down the whole to spot the boy within the midst of the fight. "That is Michael! What is he doing down there with those people??" he exclaimed. "We have to go help him."

He turned to Brutus and Nasarath, in turn. "You guys will help me, right?"
Whatever the answer, Aram would clasp his hands together abruptly, and then lay them against the floor near the hole. Bits and pieces of hanging rubble, and nearby furniture such as table lamps and side tables would soon dissolve into the floor, appearing in his hand, that Aram now held out above the hole, in the form of a steel pole several inches in diameter. It quickly expanded past the floor below, absorbing mass from surrounded furniture and debris.

It quickly reached the first floor, then welding itself to the ground. Aram looked back to Nasaraph and Brutus, while securing the Bing Bong sword on his back. He turned back to the pole and grasped it firmly, then jumped off the edge, and begun sliding down it. He had to help Michael, and no one would convince him otherwise.

Tears were starting to flow from, Vernon's eyes. He swiftly looked to the sky ''finally, a Battel beyond these retarded tournaments..... And the odd shit going on with these schools!'' he exclaimed And created a triangle made of snow; his armour had began to melt. Vernon had pulled out his trusty butter knife with his left hand. “grandmother, thank your rage.” [\color]With that Vernon had turned to the magic servant; summoning energy. He smiled, And froze his tears to create A mauve face mask. “Do you have any idea, how long I've wanted a real fight? How long I've wanted to use my powers for something usefu;, meaningful.? Merci! For getting defensive” Vernon blew his nose into his right sleeve and cut the snow triangle with his butter knife which he used to encase in snow.

A snow covered knife should work just as a enchanted weapon does. That was the theory Vernon was about to test. He called out to William. “be safe, you're more of a...Planner.” Vernon the rolled up his mucus covered sleeve And cut himself on the upper Arm. “Do you see what I a,? This isn't red blood. I'm beyond Human. Just like my family.” Vernon began hissing it was painful to bleed, although he had hissed vehemently from the body language Galberk was giving him. [i]'It's time to cut some fuckers. Hahaha!” Vernon thought tossing the sliced snow at the woman with the grave expression.

Midnight Tournament, Round 4 pre-fight: Aegus Reister

The snow never hit its intended target. As it flew through the air it collided with a man that had strolled lethargically between the two groups. It wasn't as though he were in some sort of stupor, or was just absentminded. Even a fool with his head in the clouds would have noticed the ripple effect the confrontation had sent through the gathered spectators, the wide ring of people that had moved away from where the two groups were confronting one another and now watched them nervously, the shocked whispers as Vernon had started bleeding himself in public. It was more as though he didn't care for any of it, that such events were entirely beneath notice. The only person he saw when he looked at this group of people was Masami.

At least until his wandering brought him into the path of Vernon's attack. He took what was meant for Galbrek's puppets full on in the side of the head, not even lifting a finger to defend himself from it, and as the snow scattered around his ears and shoulders he did not even move. His head did not jerk from the impact. It was as though he had just been hit with a regular snowball. The only acknowledgement he gave the attack was to stop, and slowly turn his head toward the perpetrator.

"Do I know you?" He asked, dispassionately. He regarded Vernon as one would a small, unruly child, his eyes slipping from his face down to his bleeding arm. He reached into his pocket, withdrew his wallet, and threw $300 on the ground at the boys feet. "Get that looked at. You might bleed on someone." He said, before resuming his walk until he stood in front of Masami.

"Masami the fox girl, right?" He asked. He didn't phrase it like a question. Every word he spoke was spoken as though he was only taking the most minimal of efforts. "The time is almost upon us. Normally I wouldn't bother wandering all the way over here," he said, having walked only a short distance from the adjacent arena, "But my butler assured me you've a particularly stimulating fighting style. All my opponents tonight have been so loathsomely dull, so I wanted to get a look at you before I got my hopes up." He looked her up and down, from ear to tail to little flickering starball. "Are those sparklers? I'm not impressed."

"Don't take it personal, nothing impresses Aegus." yelled a girl running up behind. She was obviously younger than him, as much as the difference between a late and early teenager makes, and looked about as worn out as he sounded with scuffed up clothes and bruising on her arms and legs attesting to her just coming from a fight. In contrast though she seemed to radiate an almost infectious energy and skidded to a stop between the two group. She confidently walked right up to Vernon and grabbed his arm, elevating it into the air with a strength that belied her small stature. "Yo Jokey, get over here! We got another medical emergency!" She called to the MCs. "This guys all cut up and the other guy's all passed out." She said, pointing to the downed Galbrek. She turned apologetically to William, and whispered. "Sorry buddy, I know you guys had it handled but we're sorta all here to have a good time and blow off some steam and this is the sorta action that really kills a mood. It's all good when you have it out in the ring, but this seems like some real beef ya got here."

William did not know this girl, but her picture was up on the bracket next to the name Euphoria Reverie.

"Oh right, hey Andras!" She said, looking over to the Lady of Despair. "You did great out there. That monster summoning magic, the flying, it really knocked my socks off buuuuuut you still kinda lost." She said, trying to be as delicate as possible. "So it'd be sorta cool of ya to swing by and pay the entrance fee if you're leaving, seeing as ya spectacularly gate crashed the tournament. Trust me, we're all about fun here but the guys really running this keep a mean account book. Ya dash on that and, well, don't be expecting an invitation for next time."

William Ascot

"We'll stop it if you agree to leave us alone to our own plans," William Ascot said, glaring first at Adam, then at Bertand behind him. He knew he and his group can take Galbrek's minions and bodyguards, but the boy knew Andras, at least, was tired. The crowd, hopefully made friendlier to them by Ascot's Narrative Role of Familarity, would also be a factor, as well as the other contestant in the Midnight Tournament. The advantage was going to them, but wasn't quite with them. But Ascot can feel time running out; his brother might get himself killed trying to arrest Vittorio, thus necessitating more card tricks from him and Andras.

"Indeed, let's go eat," he would say warmly to Andras. "Then we can begin card work. Can I cast Nakama Dedication Technique just before then, though? We're going to need every advantage we have."

Then Vernon attacked Galbrek's female bodyguard with a thrown piece of ice, and Ascot metaphorically froze again before turning around to his boyfriend and saying, "Why did you do that?! There was a chance they would have retreated!"

Now we'll have to spend valuable energy fighting! The boy said as he drew the sword given to him by his mother; the perfectly ordinary sword that will have to be supplemented with whatever he can scrounge up.

Then as quickly as it escalated, the situation was defused as Aegus Reister and his companion (Euphoria Reverie?) entered the situation. Bowing deeply to the young lady, William Ascot said his thanks: "Your help is appreciated; the person here," he gestured towards Galbrek, "was the instigator of this entire situation. I myself merely wanted to see a friend plus help avert a grievous tragedy elsewhere."

Turning to Vernon, the boy said, "Vernon, let the medics heal you. Don't resist them, please. I and Andras need to go to eat as well; we're hungry."

The young man finally went to Andras' side, further saying, "I'll pay the entrance fee and the food; it's the least I can do."

He then handed over the required sum of cash to Euphoria, and said: "Thank you for your time."

Alexander Ascot

Alexander's head was un-helmeted, and so unless someone stopped Gillam's spray of acid from hitting it, the officer would be in for a world of pain. Thankfully, Michael Angie proved up to the occassion, allowing the Officer to continue his charge, a charge that risked his life. He would not notice Alto and Aram jumping into the fight, although part of him can tell that a collapsing cieling was no longer a problem. But that also meant that Vittorio had more tentacles ready, and so he'd have to fight better and fight smarter; he'd already spent four shots of Mana-absorbing foam at Vittorio; he had eight more that he needed to use to pre-empt attacks.

Andreim

The air outdoors was fresh and would have been chilling to most standing about in their undergarments. Thankfully Andreim knew how to regulate his own heat and even project a small amount of it to Lise. He hated to think she would be feeling cold. He kept looking down at her face and body as he carried her. His hands felt abit shaky, yet steady. Hard to put it. It was as if he was carrying the most holy of things in the world, a gift bestowed from the skies above. He could feel her heart beating, or was it his own?

Andreim was so captivated that he could not discern if it was his or her heart. Perhaps it was both? She was likely strained after the ordeal in the building, having a high heartbeat was not uncommon for such a thing for certain. His own heart however wanted to burst out through his own chest.

None has ever wounded me as much as you have. You have taken my heart of ice and melt it into steam and now I am about to evaporate.

He was however aware that Katherine, Cassius and Samoth was still in there somewhere. They had failed to get to Katherine in time and that damn bastard Rurik and his cronies are going to pay dearly for this. Not only for what injuries Katherine or any of the others may have obtained or those inflicted on himself.

But to embarass and put Lise in harms way was unforgivable. Andreim gritted his teeth. I am going to beat him into a pulp later so not even his girlfriend will be able to provide enough ice to lessen his head trauma. He looked up from Lise and towards the star ridden sky above, before turning his sight back to Lise who was now looking at him.

The soothing and angelic voice of Lise caused him to swallow deeply. "You can let me down now!"

Without further wait, Andreim carefully let Lise down. "Y-yes! I mean, yes Lady Valois-Saint-Remy."
He looked her over as she stood there clad in his pants while he was abit underdressed himself and the realization coming to him that he was being indecent before the young lady.

Crap! She's going to think me a pervert! But... but... if it means making sure she is not embarassed. I must be one. He did a soft sigh and then turned around briefly, looking up at the sky again then over his shoulder, without thinking he mumbled. "Of all the stars in the universe, it's the one down here which has me circle around it."
He realized he was thinking out loud and grabbed his mouth with one of his hands and looked over to Lise to make certain of if she heard him or not. If she did she would find out about his feelings for her.

"W-we should get you dressed in better clothes." He beckoned to Lise to follow him.

Vittorio

"The gods gave me the power to do the work you cannot do, you would-be-protector! These wings on my back are not a dream!"

The barrier had caught Vittorio's attention. Alexander and Michael were now both getting in the way of justice. This was unforunate and something which annoyed him. His ally, the tentacle monster had however been able to provide him with good support. He wanted to go for Alto, but with these other two men standing they would keep interupting him. So he had to take care of them first and leave Alto briefly in the hands of his ally.

The officer had fired off some odd shots from his weaponry, Vittorio had avoided a few of the shots whilst some connected with his tentacle like wings, either from him trying to deflect them or by them just hitting them. He began to notice how the wings hit began to wither in form.

Some forms of magical inflicted acid was eating away at them was what he could tell, thus he used two of his tentacles to slice of the two affected ones. Dropping them to the floor where they vanished with a low wheezing sound. Narrowing his ghostly eyes he turned them to Alexander. The officer was still coming for him and Vittorio didn't have the time to play with him or Michael. Thus both had to be taken out of the equation. He moved towards Alexander to meet him in his charge, with less tentacles than before.

Using his superior reach, Vittorio used one of his tentacles to attempt to grab Alexander around his left ankle, before trying to throw him directly towards Michael who was suffering from his ally's acid attack. Hoping that he could knock them both out or at least prone.
To give him just enough time to get to Alto. His remaining three tentacles who were still operational were at the defensive, ready to lash out against incoming attacks or block where need was. But at this rate he had to limit the amount of attacks towards him, as he would surely not have enough time to recover his missing wings or his form falling apart.

"You failed to protect the fallen! Redeem yourself in the eyes of the gods! Kill Alto! You cannot save me, as much as you cannot save the boy you brought along with you to this place! His pain is on your bloodstained hands! See the consequences of your actions!"

"Stop all the fighting! Stop all the dodging! Stop standing in my way!"

Galbrek

Bertrand had lowered his guard for a moment, he wasn't intending on stopping them now. Not with all these people about, it would be too risky and they were many. But then the same guy who had attacked his master decided to attack Celine. It caused him to flare up again and caused Darla to look even more nervous, Celine had been prepared for Vernon but she wasn't sure if her barrier would have held against his attack. Luckily someone else had stepped in to intervene. Celine nor any of the others had seen this person before.

For now she was safe however and seeing things cool down abit, Darla and Bertrand lowered their combat stances aswell and moved over towards Galbrek whom had begun to move.

"Tch..." He said in a low barely hearable voice as he slammed his elbow into the side of Adam. Who happened to be helping him stand up.

"We are going... I'm fine." Galbrek said with obvious irritation in his voice, and Adam would have flinched and held unto the spot he got elbowed in. Galbrek looked to Celine, Betrand and Darla who were now pretty close to him before he whispered to them. "You three... make sure they don't leave this place anytime soon. If possible capture Andras and bring her to hideout charlie."
The half-demon gave Adam a slight snarl and then dismissed the other three. The half-demon and his tall puppet had turned their back towards the rest of the gathering and made their way towards the nearest exit.

"Damn... guess we have to think of something." Bertrand said in a hushed tone and looked towards Andras who was leaving with William. Before he began to stride after them, followed by Darla and finally by Celine who bowed her head in gratitude towards Aegus.

"Bertrand? You'll protect me right?" Darla asked Bertrand while they were walking, following Andras and William. "I was really scared back there..."
"You'd bet I do! We only gotta do what we've been tasked with. We should be okay." Bertrand snapped his fingers over his shoulder with a grin. He had regarded Darla much like a little sister ever since they came to be.

Galbrek and Adam had found themselves near one of the exits, making sure to keeping to themselves. Galbrek said in a strained and annoyed voice. "If... if they are going to get in my plans. I am going to get in theirs. We are going to visit our dear ghostly friend." The half-demon gave a wide grin which Adam could recognize as a truly bad sign, that Galbrek was planning something truly sinister. "Yes, master. I will get us a taxi/carriage." Adam began to lead Galbrek out the building and held out an arm to call a taxi/carriage.

"But what about the girls?" Adam couldn't help but ask. "I will get them after having aqquired my new puppet, which shall deal with this William boy and his wretched servant. Perhaps leave him paralyzed. Forever."

At this rate. Master Galbrek will be greatly saddened. You guys better bring back one of them for him or I will have to do it myself. As the foremost of his servants. Adam thought to himself.

"This always Happens." Vernon said through bitten lips, as he swore. Every time he was engaged in a real fight-or just a matter of lifee and death-Somebody intervined. He finally laughed at his ill-fate and gave a middel finger to the sky above. Shaking his head Vernon walked over to the three hun. Dollars and torn apart one fifty. He was shown such disrespect, such idiocy and he certainly wasn`t going to fully accept such a token/gift. Vernon had walked over to Willaim.

"Knowing how, mornic these tournaments are, and how...Illusioned our schools are. Why do we all even bother to join in on the Ranked fights and minor problems of the world? haha. Why not, Aim to alter the bigger picture. Whatever these Gods have planned for the futuer is not...A fate I know humanity will be pleased with. Vernon laughed again before taking his own wallet out it was filled with seven hundread dollars. He darted his eyes to Willaim then to the crowd. He smiled at his actions.

"No matter how many times, Forces interrupt my thrist to become a Artist to the Bigger Picture. I will always walk this path untill I am, victorous...And Finally given my answers about the Gods. Willy, the second being....Why not take the Ancient Evil with you? I'm not reckless or Idiotic fuck. I'm not even childish. I'm just. Trying to Create my own Arts within the Bigger Picture. Thaat is the fate, I give myself." Vernon explain as he took out a tube of medical goop made by his father's....Experimentors and rubbed in on his out, his left hand was twriling the butter knife inbetween his fingers.

William Ascot

William Ascot sighed as he smiled at Vernon once more, saying, "The Gods don't really mean anything bad; 90% of them don't, at any rate. They mostly leave the world alone except to grant powers to people to keep holding off the Ancient Evil, which in turn is based in another dimension, is equal to the Gods, and I think that any power that can take down the Ancient Evil will need to be something powerful enough to destroy entire universes, including this one. That sort of power is very dangerous; even if you can withstand the temptation to use it badly, it attracts weirdos who can't do so."

He finally reached a nearby food truck that sold ramen, and paid for bowls for himself, Andras, and Vernon if he was willing. The boy would then eat, not so fast that he'd be considered crass, but not so slow that he wouldn't finish the bowl in less than twenty minutes. Then, to Andras and Vernon, the boy would say, "I'm glad to have you guys as my friends, as my nakama. Or would you guys prefer 'True Companions'?"

And with a smile, a golden aura of light would envelop Ascot, causing him to faintly glow. This light would cover Andras and Vernon, and the small band of friends would feel stronger, faster, and luckier.

William Ascot, re-invigorated, would then say, "Once you're all done eating, we need to begin the combinations of cards needed to bring Vittorio's loved ones back; to save time, I will also need a card to transport Vittorio and his hospital bed to this place." Facing Andras, he continued, "I will ask nothing dangerous of you; it's not my right. But you will need to draw that spell called Death Wish six times; I can then imitate those cards with my own powers. After that, you need to spam healing spells at me so that my body won't give out from using those cards; even then, there will be a period where I'll be sent to the border line between life and death."

He continued, "Do not worry about me; the fact that I proposed this plan in the first place shows that I have the determination to survive long enough for further healing to take effect." Turning to Andras, "This is going to be an undertaking worthy of the Demon Lady of Despair, an undertaking that will make stories and epics and inspire others to paths of heroism and I dare say, compassion."

A smile. "And remember, we'll need to teleport Vittorio to this place if we don't want to do a home invasion of Mephisto's; Mom is willing to drive us there, but that might be held up by traffic." A frown. "And I don't trust the half-demon, either."

Then the young man would notice Masami's presence, and say, "I hope that you're not shocked by my talk; nevertheless, you'll see a miracle the likes of which has never been seen." Turning to Vernon, Ascot continued, "I know this is going to be hard for you, but please don't interfere, Vernon. Instead, go call some old contacts to try and prevent that half-demon from getting out of this place and getting reinforcments."

Considering how Vernon didn't heed his plea to stay with the healers, William Ascot knew he'd have to start now and present what's going to happen as a fait accompli.

@Crowvette@CavnderOHeart

Alexander Ascot

Alexander couldn't help but attempt to reason with Vittorio once more as he forced himself up; he was an adult and had more endurance than most of the fighters here. The Officer would say, "Why Alto?! You have not given us any proof of why he is to blame! And please don't say it's evident in his face or tone; you know full well that's not enough evidence! Present us with actual hard facts about him having something to do with your loved ones' killer before we do anything!"

Lise

Lise was taken aback. 'Better clothes? Does he not like my current wardrobe-' Her thoughts stopped as she grabbed Andreim's pants, which she was still wearing. 'Oh.'

"It's too late to buy new clothes, all the stores are closed... We'll have to return to my dorm." Lise nodded to herself, thinking it a fine course of action. She stepped forward confidently, then faltered.

'Where are we again?' Lise was glad she was in front of Andreim, because her cheery expression cracked slightly as she realized that she didn't know where she was at all. She studied the nearby buildings and landmarks, finding nothing familiar. 'How far away are we from Laurels? What path did the limo take to get here? C-Could it be that I'm lost?!' Lise's expression turned from a confident princess to a lost child in a moment.

Regaining her composure once more (something she has had to do rather often since coming to Rhea), she turned back to Andreim, and gestured for him to walk ahead. "Lead the way, Andreim!" She gave a pure smile, hiding her inner shame at being lost.

A expression of cluelessness had left Vernon's face and was replaced by a cruel, self-humiliating laugh. That old incorrect belief that the Gods were some sort of Self-Aligned beings, had died and made Vernon seem like an idiot. 'As Idiotic as my long term opinions on the Gods were. I'm still going through with my society.' Vernon had fully understood what Willaim had revealed on him and had blew him a kiss of gradititude. Then got his cellphone out and began messaging his Mobster connections. The money he had recieved was going to be placed near the pathway of a young bloke Vernon took, (sadistic) pity on. *

Eating the Ramen with daark chocolate Vernon had found in his pockets he had raised an eyebrow at Willy's adressing of him and Andres as his NAkama. He didn`t know what that word had meant. Swallowing Vernon had playfully narrowed his eyes and said: "True Companions." He had continued eating and texting simultenously. He had given the orders William had asked for to his fellows in the God Of Crime`s Favour and had drunk the soup-like liquid. "Now I've got to eat something to axe this weeb energy inside me. Despite being a third Japanese." Vernon said the last part quickly, under the assumption that no one could hear him.

He had went to the food truck that was run by Family Members with ammo, technology that made Vernon's Father equally as questionable as King. He had spoken about what needed to be done and had been shown the text, as it had gotten delete Vernon gave the money from that crude stranger to his Family. "ITS for Cyan. The, guy with that. Tail. No, not the Racoon. Kitsune Shota." He had recieved a Steak, Baked Potatoes and Carrots. Lastly a posion ivy-coloured lead pencil and his recepit Then bowed with his head as a thank you, gave them the bird politely and had walked back over to his......Boyfriend.

"Alright. I won't get involved. " Vernon had decided to write that second part down on the reciept. Then handed it to William. It just seemed more intelligent that way. it read; In Vernon's hand writing. Sniper`s in position, also. MAy we build a love triangle? HE goes your school. I may have a fetish/kink for Heroes.

Ascot, Andras, and Cyan

TAGS: @Letter Bee @Crowvette @CavnderOHeart

Cyan appeared in a room even darker than the one he left, but it was definitely more cozy. After his eyes adjusted to the sunset light straining through the closed window shades, he saw he was in what appeared to be a living room of some sort. On the floor was a thick, comfortable carpet, and against the wall with the double window was a couch. A couple other comfortable-looking armchairs were also in the room. On two walls opposite of each other were bookshelves, the contents of which were quite varied in size and thickness. In the middle of the room was a large table with some sort of equally-large, comfortably-lined box. Cyan hadn't a clue what that could be.

Being too tired to really care about much other than sleeping at this point, but still thinking clearly enough to realize that he was probably trespassing, he decided to curl up in the corner next to the couch rather than sleep on the couch itself. Would make it less likely he'd be spotted. Luckily, the carpet was more than worthy of sleeping upon. He then pulled his fluffy tail over himself as a makeshift blanket and fell into a deep sleep, thoroughly exhausted.

He suddenly awoke to the chorus of The Final Countdown by Europe, and knocked his head against the hard plaster wall.

His first thought was, 'Ow!' followed by, 'Crap, I'm trespassing and now my phone is going to wake them up!' He rubbed his head as he attempted to fumble his ringing phone out of his back pocket while lying down. Finally managing it, he held it over to his face and noticed the clock in the corner.

1:43 AM

'Who on earth would be calling me at this time at night?' he thought, and swiped across. Unknown caller ID. This could only mean one thing.

'Wrong number,' he thought, a bit irritated, and hung up.

William Ascot thanked Vernon with a smile and a "Thank You; make sure he only shoots at the wheels of that half-demon's transportation and does not kill anyone," but frowned when he mentioned Cyan. "To be honest, I was going to call him now to help boost mine and Andras' luck so that we pull the right cards. As for a love triangle, only if he's willing. Emphasis on willing."

Andras blinked. 'Shoots at the wheels? Love triangle? H-Have these amazing things been happening all around me without me being aware of it?' She studied the two boys with a renewed perspective, but decided to keep her speculation to herself.

And with that, Ascot searched for the fox-boy's phone number on the White Pages, the privately-owned database of cellphone numbers. Once he was done, he would send a text message: Hey, Cyan, it's me, William Ascot, the St. Laurel's Student who frequents the library a lot. I need your help; am willing to pay $1000 out of my private savings; been saving it up since I was eight. Text me back if you're willing.

No answer.

Ascot decided to call Cyan through voice instead this time. No answer again. He attempted one more time and finally got through.
"Hello, Mr. Bridget?! It's me, William Ascot! A fellow St. Laurel's student! And I'm willing to pay $1,000 dollars out of my private savings for your help!" he said over the phone, a note of desperation in his voice.

After hanging up, Cyan stood up. He was still drowsy of course, but after getting some rest he realized the importance of not being found in somebody else's house. He unlocked the one of the two doors that lead outside, and his phone started playing music again.

'Well they must be trying to reach me if they're ringing me a second time,' he thought, slightly embarressed by the idea that he just hung up on someone.

Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he tapped the answer call button and held it up to his ear.
"He-"
"Hello, Mr. Bridget?! It's me, William Ascot! A fellow St. Laurel's student! And I'm willing to pay $1,000 dollars out of my private savings for your help!" the voice on the other side almost seemed to shout in the quiet.

"One thousa- Hold on," Cyan whispered and glanced behind him to the other door, afraid someone would come through. Satisfied that nobody was coming yet, he left whatever building he ended up in, locking the door again before closing it.

"Alright, what is this about?" he asked in a hushed, and rather confused, voice.

The answer was short, with a low, fast, nervous tone. "I need two things. One is a boost to luck for me and another person, Andras - you may know her as Alexandria Sova. Another is a boost to my health; my life force. Two coin-flips for 500 dollars each, right?"

Cyan didn't know anyone named Andras or Alexandria Sova. He didn't even think he knew this William, though he did recognize the name.

"Um, well, what's this for? Like, I could try to do those things, but if I know what it's for maybe there's a better way to do it," he asked, slightly puzzled. Nobody had really asked him to coin-flip for them as a service before. He then added, "And it's not really two coin-flips, it could be like three to five or something, with several bad things."

"What's this about coin flips? Five hundred dollars?! William, who exactly are you speaking to?" Andras felt a bead of sweat roll down her temple. 'These negotiations are getting rather expensive... William sure is something else. Shootings, love triangles... Luck and health boosts... Maybe I should meet him outside of the library more often!'

William Ascot explained to Cyan as best as he could: "There is an 'enemy' student, Vittorio Twinveil, who only hates Alto because he thinks that the latter is somehow to blame for the death of his parents, who were gardeners at St. Laurels', and his four best friends, who were St. Laurel's students. This was two years ago, and their real killer was a Demon who was seeking out Alto. Now, I was told that resurrecting the parents and best friends is impossible...and that's normally true. But my friend, Andras/Alexandra Sova, has a power that can get around various cosmic laws. But this power requires drawing random spells from a magical source of power, and of those random spells, reliable resurrection requires magic that takes away half your life force and physical health. So I need both a luck and health boost. So please, help me."

"As for why you should aid me in aiding a Mephisto's student, well, let's just say that his story is tragic. Or if you don't care about tragedies, well, resurrecting four St. Laurel's students and getting Vittorio to defect will improve the school's position greatly. So yeah, again, please help me."
And with that, Ascot waited.

Most of the stuff William said went in one ear and out the other for Cyan. It seemed like they might have been in over their heads, but they seemed pretty adamant about their objective. Something that did catch his attention was their mentioning of this Andras being able to get around cosmic law with randomly drawn spells.
'That sounds a lot like my power... I haven't heard of anyone else having a power like this before,' he thought, curious.

"If Andras or Alexandra is the one using her random power, only she would need luck, right? Or do you need luck for something else?" Cyan asked after William finished his spoken essay.

The response was, "True, very true. So one luck boost for Andras, one Health boost for me. Also, I will be taking on every bad result on myself; it's unfair to ask you to take on any side-effects alone. Will you be all right with that?"

The side effects were mainly what the boy had been worried about, so he thought that would be a deal he'd want. However, for some reason, he felt a bit guilty at the idea of being paid to just flip a coin and potentially really hurt someone else. It didn't feel right to have other people take the consequences of his power.

He was silent for a moment, thinking it over.
"Are you sure?"

William felt fear for the first time in this quest, a cold feeling in his chest. Nevertheless, he answered, "Yes. I was the one who demanded this of you, after all. Plus, I heard the story of how you got your tail; it isn't right to allow something similar to happen to you."

Cyan was taken aback by the mention of his tail. What? Who did William hear the story from? He put the question aside, though. That wasn't really important right now.

"In that case, do you have any suggestions for tail flips? The worse the 'side effect', the better the heads flip would be. It also helps to make the flips similar, like good luck against bad luck," he said, feeling a pit in his stomach. This wasn't right. Maybe they didn't understand what the coin flip could entail? That would explain their willingness, and if so, then it would definitely be wrong to make them take the consequences.

Ascot was impatient now, "We're wasting time. The flipside of the luck boost would be my worst enemy," this was Galbrek, even though he didn't know his name, "...getting a full dossier about me and my powers and countermeasures against said powers, effective tomorrow. The flipside of the health boost, for me, would be getting wings. And not the functional kind, either; I think wings that actually allow flight would be a cheat."

The impatience and forcefulness in William's voice took Cyan by surprise. All of this stuff was important! If he didn't know these things, he wouldn't know what to flip and his power wouldn't work.
"Um, and, when would you like the boosts to begin? And for how long?" he meekly ventured another couple questions, afraid they'd jump down his throat again. It was important to know though, he didn't want to mess this up.

The reply was softer, "Two hours each; that ought to be enough time for the plan. And the boosts can begin now."
Cyan nodded, even though that didn't really communicate anything during a phone call, and held out his fist. An ordinary copper and nickle quarter appeared on his thumb, ready to be flipped.

Gilliam DeWitt and Nasaraph Sana

Burning! Pain! The scent of burning flesh as Alto's blade bit into the side of Gilliam for the second time in his life. It was a pain he remembered, a deep phantom ache seared deep into his soul that refused to go away so long as Alto yet lived. The wound that would not heal until Alto was a part of him. In due time it would be so, the hole would be filled, but for now all Gilliam could do was let out a piercing shrike that reverberated in your bones and made the back of your teeth itch.

He rabidly pulled away, pulled into himself, where it was safe, yes, safe, inside the concrete and drywall bunker of debris that shielded the bulk of his body and then into himself, becoming a boiling mass of flesh smothering the wound but it still burned.

As all of Gilliam disappeared beneath the rubble Nasaraph saw his chance to safely follow Aram down. It had been good of the boy, Nasaraph thought, to jump down first and draw any stray attacks for him. Now that the monster was hiding, though, there was no point on waiting for anyone to notice the decoy. He wrapped his hands around the convenient pole Aram had left behind, poured some of his aura into them to keep from getting friction burns, and started sliding down. Past the second floor hallway, down which he was surprised to spot some more students, and got very nearly to the bottom of the first.

That's when the pile of debris exploded.

Gilliam had boiled up all of his hatred and used it to shoot dozens of writhing tendrils out of his protective bunker with enough force to shatter it, sending stone and metal flying in all directions. His tendrils slashed through the air like a meat blender, lashing out at anything nearby and further throwing the debris further in random arcs. Nasaraph saw a huge chunk of drywall flying right at him, and let go of the pole. He released his grip on the aura he had accumulated, letting it flow freely for a moment, before directing it from his palms at the stone in front of him. Something invisible lashed out from his body, impacting the dryway and shattering it into little pieces that pelted him as he fell. Fall he did, landing badly on un-enhanced legs that sent a shock of pain through him that brought him to his knees.

Meanwhile, in the pile, the tentacles stopped their whirling dervish and wrapped around one another. They compacted down and twisted themselves together until they molded, became one, and took the form of a man. Pale skinned, with long, wild dark hair and a muscular build. The surface of his skin spasmed and twitched, becoming dark and billowing out even as each individual strand of hair rose up to help tie itself into one long braid. Soon what was standing there wasn't a monster, but a well dressed and groomed young man with a sever expressions on his face and the hint of a long burn scar poking up from beneath his collar that even now boiled at the edges as it tried to knit back together.

His dark eyes swept the room for Alto, and he fond more than what he expected. His frown only deepened. This room just kept filling with enemies.

[Not a Vernon post; Mafia NPC].

With his focus steady the safety was flipped off and the half -demon named Galberk hadn't appeared in his line of vision. The trigger was squeezed And the bullet flew with an enchantment of darkness meant to Roy the entire left wheel; not just bless them with a flat tire/broken wheel. The Mafia & magic member had sent William a text As he began walking away. There was a woman with him, who took the sniper then made it vanish. The text read.. It's Yuri, if you can't hear it from, here, the shoot has been taken. Drink up, fam-to-be. Also. Melissa says hi and has Jester, asked about Cyan yet?'

The reply was softer, "Two hours each; that ought to be enough time for the plan. And the boosts can begin now."

A moment later, Cyan's voice came back over the phone.
"I'm sorry, I got a tails. You should gain more strength for the next two hours, but the flip for luck for your friend didn't work," he said apologetically, "Would you like me to try again? I'd need another tail flip thing."

After some time, Ascot would feel as though he was brimming with physical energy, as though he was healthier than he used to be. He would then look at Andras and ask, "So, do you feel the extra luck from my own technique? Cyan's boost didn't work. Whatever happens, though...we need to start now."

Andras looked down at herself for a moment, stretching out and trying to feel if anything was different. "Truth be told, I'm not sure what difference I'd feel to begin with." Andras had a sinking feeling within her stomach. "...Plus, there's a chance that it would have been countered by Erayo's Essence if it tried to apply to me."

'...I completely forgot about my own enchantment. This is not good. It will negate anything the first time it's used against me, good or bad.' Andras grimaced.

Ascot nodded. "Well, while that might negate Cyan's blessing if cast, I can always use Nakama Dedication Method a second time. Can you let me do so?"

And with that, he began to glow once more, and Andras would be enveloped in golden light for a brief period as well, golden light that would boost speed, strength, and luck. He would then answer Cyan: "Sorry for keeping you hanging, but it turns out Andras would not be affected by the first casting of any spell, meaning that you'd have to get heads twice for her to be more lucky. And we won't have the time for that. That said, thanks for your help; I will be sending the $1000 from my own bank account now."

A few minutes more, and Cyan would find his funds added to online. Now it was Andras' turn once more.

Andras took a deep breath. She usually drew her daily card alone, but she also had rehearsed in case she needed to do it in public. Covering Perfect Alexandria with her hand, she mumbled to herself, "Gods of Light and Dark, of Mind and Heart, and of Death and Life; open my eyes to the true power of the Root, and grant it within my hands." Slowly moving her hand down from Perfect Alexandria, a golden square of light materialized within her hand.

Opening her eye, she mulled over the new card. It would let her draw more cards, which was good for what she was planning to do. But she needed another bond to make it castable.

Ascot figured out what Andras needed, and looked around to see if that Kitsune Girl was near; Vernon was currently answering a phone call. Should Masami be there and not fighting yet, he would call her over, saying: "Hey, milady! Can you come here over for a moment? Andras needs your help!"

Masami had followed the group for a bit, but ultimately had felt unincluded, not saying much and staying to the background, until she had been called. She had about to head back to the Midnight Tournament, but she turned as Ascot shouted to her. Apparently her help was required. She walked over, as she did so asking what was need of her. "Hello! What's up?"

Andras stepped forward. "Masami! You're relatively new to Rhea, so... Perhaps you'd want a friend to help show you around town?"

Masami recieved the kind offer with a smile, and a feeling of warmth. "Sure! That'd be great if you could help me out with that!" she said.

Andras returned her smile. "Perfect!" With a energetic step forward, Andras hugged Masami. "Thank you so much, Masami!" She said in a singsong voice.

Masami's smile widened as Andras stepped forward to hug her, also widening her arms to greet the gesture warmly. Her tails and ears stood on end as their embrace met, as Masami realized she was not only hugging a complete stranger, but also someone known as a Demon. But she didn't care. The hug felt good. As she loosened her arms from the hug, she whispered in Andras' ear, "Strawberries.."

Andras looked away in embarrassment. "L-Let's leave that out of this, shall we?"

Ascot would frown, and say: "Andras, I don't doubt that your intentions are sincere, but can't you be more up-front?"

Turning towards Masami, he would say, "We'd be welcome to spend more time with you, now and in the future, but Andras should have said that she wanted a hug not just because she obviously finds you beautiful, but because close and willing physical contact allows her to cast spells better, and we need that for the plan to ressurect an enemy's dead friends and family so that he won't be an enemy anymore. Sorry if you feel decieved, although the original concept was to be up-front with you from the start."

Stepping out of the hug and still flushed from Masami's comment, Andras sighed. "Well, Ascot's right, but that's only half of it! I do need more anchors for casting spells, but that's only tertiary to the fact that I want to be your friend, Masami!"

'Is it obvious that I find her beautiful? What's Ascot doing, saying that right to her face?!' Andras thought to herself.

Beautiful?? Masami thought with a blush. "I-i'd be happy to become your friend." she said, looking to Andras, then to Ascot. "Both of you."

The boy then gave a deep bow to Masami, saying, "Thank you."

Then to Andras, he smiled and said, "Let's continue."

Andras gave a quick smile to Masami. "I'll have to find you after the tournament so we can exchange phone numbers, but I've gotta do this first." She waved as Masami bowed slightly and walked back towards the tournament.

Grabbing the card she had just drawn, she reached out with her newfound reserve of mana and focused on casting the spell. "Oracle of the metal plane's secrets, come forth to me." Tossing the card forward, it burst into rays of white, black, green and blue, before coaslescing into a magical automaton.

Andras didn't like that she had to disassemble the Oracle to draw more cards, but it was necessary at the moment. "I'm sorry, but I need your knowledge right now." With a gesture and a small commitment of mana, the Oracle's form suffused into three new cards for Andras to use.

Andras studied the new ones. Two of them were alternate anchor points for mana... The other was a destruction spell. "This isn't good, Ascot. None of these cards can help with your plan."

Ascot nodded, "Can you drop said cards, then? Or would that be impossible?"

"W-Well, I might need these later. I can carry many more spells than I have right now." Andras fanned out her spells, looking at them in her one hand.

Another nod. "Can you draw more, then? I'm not sure what would happen if I copy the Oracle card right now."

Andras shook her head. "I'm out of ways to draw until tomorrow."

Ascot sighed, "Then I'll copy the Oracle Card."

And with that, he mimicked Andras' motions, using the power given to him by the God of Stories as well as his intimate knowledge of Andras' stories, hoping against hope that he would manage to draw three more cards, which he showed to Andras once they had appeared.

As he did so, the boy sighed. "None of these cards are Death Wish..."

Andras laid a hand on his shoulder. It's unfortunate, but the Root is impossibly expansive. Finding a specific spell is extremely difficult.

William Ascot

Ascot sighed and said, "Andras, you don't get it; if I don't ressurect Vittorio's friends and family this night, then I'll have ceded my initiative to the enemy. And by the enemy, I mean the Half-Demon, various Mephisto's students, unkind people who may have overheard, and technically...Vittorio himself. If I fail now, I will have allowed them to figure out my plans. I know that that Half-Demon's minions are still there, and that he goes to Mephisto's. That means that I'll have that entire school as my enemy soon, especially if they misrepresent my plans to Vittorio as some attempt to hurt him further - they can do that."

He kept his voice even, surprisingly calm under pressure. "So, we're going to have to activate a contingency plan. I say 'activate' because it's cooler, even though it's more accurate to say that we're concocting a contingency plan because I didn't think I'd have to make one." A short nod. "Time is on our side as long as you, Andras, are alive. We can keep drawing more and more cards every day, and I can copy the relevant cards, especially if they're Death Wish. What we need to do now is to keep out of contact with the enemy while making sure that we are protected should we fail to do so. Again, with enough time and cards, we can present the ressurections of Vittorio's friends and family as a fait accompli."

The boy went to Vernon, and kissed him passionately on the lips before saying, "I've made your life in Mephisto's more dangerous, but necessary too. Keep the Half-Demon, Vittorio, and anyone who sides with them off-balance as long as possible; Michael can help. Never forget; I love you, Vernon."

He then turned to Andras again. "I think that from now on, my Mom, Gilgamesha Ascot, will have to drive us both to St. Laurel's; she's the only one powerful enough to handle multiple Mephisto's students. Once in St. Laurels, we'll have to avoid the gardens and grounds, especially the very edges. That's easy for us as we stay in the library most of the time anyway; we have library passes. We also need to make friends among some more St. Laurel's students; strength in numbers."

Andreim

Andreim nodded in agreement to Lise. "Yes, so your dorm it is." He turned away from Lise for a moment and then the realization hit him. Her dorm. Her dorm?! I am going with her to her dorm?! Damn. I can't back out now and besides she needs someone to escort her there. Why must she be so insufferably attractive. Taking a brief moment he collected himself and looked back to Lise, she had stopped in her tracks. What now?

She's.. too cute for my own good. "Lead the way, Andreim!"

He could imagine his cheeks getting red but he swallowed and tried his best to shake it off. "Leave it to me, Lady Valois-Saint-Remy!" Despite her knowing the way to her dorm. She had left it to me to safely escort her to the place. Like a proper gentleman taking a lady to a dance.

Wait? Hold on. What if she was using her cunning and cute looks to try find out if I know where her dorm is? Damn it's a trap! If I show that I know where her dorm is she might think me an even bigger pervert, but If I show her I do not know where it is she will be disappointed and I will show my incababilites of memorizing such an important location! What should I do?

Gathering his thoughts he decided to take the risk and began to lead the way towards Lise's dorm room. It was not a surprise that he knew where it was. He had paid extra attention to anything regarding Lise. Even to who she considered friends. That's why Cyan had gotten the evil eye. That guy better watch his step. Foxes were cunning and carnivores, he wouldn't lower his guard around him for a moment.

Andreim led Lise along the streets and made sure to wait for her where need was and to offer his arm would she had wanted something to lean on. It was quite the long walk, royalty like herself would surely not be used to go by foot. After some time had passed they finally arrived on the grounds, where Andreim led Lise to her dorm room.

"Well then.. here we are Lady Valois-Saint-Remy. At your surely spendid dorm room. Not that I have seen it but I- I'd imagine a young lady of your standing must have quite the room."

Stop talking already! You are getting yourself into trouble and you are underdressed! Chose the next few words very carefully. A deep breath and...

"After you, milady." Andreim offered a bow to Lise. So much for that...

Vittorio

More people. More interference. Why must they all get in his way?

He quickly used his incorporeal form and flew through the barrier projected by Michael and got up near Gilliam. Vittorio swung his tentacle like wings towards the place where he expected Alto to be in before he threw a glance to Gilliam. One of gratitude but also of severity. At these odds they would both be destroyed and Alto would get away. They would have to postpone the fight for later.

"Withdraw to the higher levels and help the others. I'll take things to another level..." He gathered some of his energy and one of his missing tentacle wings began to manifest again, what he did next was to aim all of his tentacles at himself pressing them closely together. He gave a displeased look to the others present. "You should never have come here! Leave now!"

Then finally he took a leap forwards towards where Alto was and fired all his energy beams in a big beam, centered at himself causing his own form to disentigrate and he hoped that Alto would be caught in the blast aswell.

Moments later...

Darkness.

A blurred vision. That of a dark and grey room with a soft beeping sound. A life monitoring system. He was back in his physical form. Bed ridden and the light from one of the devices which was monitoring him was too bright for his eyes. Vittorio swallowed and felt as if he had swallowed a razor, it was painful but nothing new. He began to feel something warm falling down his lip. Blood.

His nose had begun to bleed. He shakingly moved his hand over and then looked at his blurred bony hand and then reached for a tissue to his left which he wiped the blood off with.

"Shit..." He said in a raspy voice before softly coughing. Did I get him? No.. probably not. How long will it take before I can join with you all? How long will I lie here in the dark. When will my dying day come? He allowed his hand to fall to his side at the bed and he had a slight smirk form on his dry lips. "I will not fail... again." He tightened his hand into a fist.

Galbrek

He had gotten into a taxi, which Adam had managed to wave over. "Perfect. I'll need you to dri-"
A sound of something loud popping. "What now?!" Galbrek said and pointed to Adam to inspect it as he got out of the taxi alongside with the driver.

"Tch... screw this useless vehicle!" Galbrek slammed the door behind him and waved Adam to follow him.

"We'll take something else.."

His eyes searched for any other vehicle. With a near psychotic look on his face he found a mailboy with a bike, covered slightly by a big truck. A grin crawled up his face and he moved over to the boy who was leaning forwards putting in some newspapers while still sitting on the bike which had a big wooden section in front of it to carry mail on.

"I saw this in a game once. And I hate getting commersial papers in my mail..."

Galbrek grabbed hold of the collars of the mailboy and tossed him off the bike before taking out a bundle of bills which he threw in the boy's face. "Take this and get your slithering mortal face out of my sight." Adam was feeling awkward having just witnessed his master throw off a boy from his delivery bike. "Master, this is going to take abit longer time and going to be quite physically straining."

Galbrek kicked off the mail in the front of the bike and sat down in its stead. "That's why you will do all the pedaling, Adam." Galbrek said in an annoyed tone of voice.

Adam sighed and got on the bike and began to pedal behind the neatly placed truck. "Deliver me to my destination like an urgent letter. Your life counts on it." He didn't need much in order to convince Adam the severity of his words and motivate him on his effort.

"I will see if I can get us a better ride. It has it's uses to have strong wires that can attach to things, don't you think so, Adam?"

Meanwhile...

"They are eating. They are fucking eating." Bertrand said while watching from a somewhat safe distance with his two companions, Darla and Celine.

Darla looked at her stomach. "I wish I could eat..." To which Celine answered. "Try to keep focused. If we fail we will be punished greatly. The girl with the blue hair is the main priority. If she gets away we have to get the fox girl instead and hope it will be enough to please our master."

Bertrand and Darla nodded in agreement. "Seriously, how much food can that guy eat? And talk at the same time. Sheesh."

"Focus" Celine reminded him.

"Right right, once the fighting part is over we'll overpower them. Should be enough if one of us get away with the target and the other two will keep the rest occupied."
Bertrand, Darla and Celine relocated themselves to make sure they did not lose sight of Andras.

"If we have to split up. You'll grab her and take her to the place, Celine."

"You don't have to tell me." Celine shrugged abit and readied herself.

"Whoa. That dude just kissed the other dude." Bertrand said in some combination of surprise and shock. Darla watched with a soft red hue on her face. "Can you kiss me, Celine?" Darla looked to Celine.

"What? No. Ofcourse not. And stay focused." Celine shook her head.
